Sat on the terrace, it was lovely. The food was delicious. The service was okay. It was a shame there were dogs on the terrace.

Delicious fries! Nice bread board! Good wine. Only the spareribs main course wasn't good. Very tough, just as much meat on the bone as in my belly 🙈. Recommended for lunch, but not for dinner.

We didn't quite like it....my husband had a hot roll but it had more bacon bits than meat, therefore quite salty...I had 12 o'clock...cheese soup, the taste was fine but this too had a lot of bacon bits in it...(I think a cheese soup should be vegetarian) this too was quite salty...I also had a cheese croquette but I got a regular croquette, I reported this and got a cheese croquette anyway, but because of that the uitsmijter had gotten cold (I got the same one back too) all not as it should be.....too bad...🧐😐

We dropped by spontaneously on a Saturday evening, and luckily there was still room for us. It was also packed, which made it incredibly noisy. We had trouble hearing each other at the table. Prices were very high, with only one dish under €20.

Lives up to the name; a cozy village room. The chicken here is always delicious. Portions are nice and large, especially if you order takeaway. Delicious, in one word, and the service was super friendly. We will do that again!

A review is being requested, so let's move on. All the food was served lukewarm, as if it had been in transit from kitchen to table for too long. The taste was good, but it would have been better at the right temperature. The cafe concept does not work if you want a quiet meal, because the dining tables are surrounded by people who come for a nice drink. So it was much too noisy to just eat, the service also participated in this. I think this could be more separated. So the price/quality ratio is not right. So this is a one-off for us.

Although I did not have very good experiences with either lunch or dinner here (mediocre food), I am happy to come back because it is such a beautiful place. The interior is beautifully styled and I like the terrace. The snack bar side is great. We come every week for a delicious scoop of ice cream in the summer. The prices are very fair. Today (4:30 PM) I thought it was a shame that in addition to the employee who neatly helped me with an ice cream, an employee was eating next to her pontifical with a plate on top of the counter/countertop.

We had a wonderful meal and drinks with our children and grandchild for our 12.5 year wedding anniversary!!

This is a perfect restaurant for various occasions. I went to meet with my colleague and the service, ambience and food was great, not to mention the location.

The price/quality ratio is excellent. The staff is friendly and you will be helped quickly. The spareribs we had came off the bone easily but were still a bit tough. They also didn't taste great. Vegetables, potatoes and fries were fine.

Voor het eerst hier gegeten. Was in 1 woord super. Ik ga hier zeer zeker vaker heen. Niet alleen voor het diner, maar binnenkort ook zeker een keer voor de lunch, of gewoon voor een cappucino met wat lekkers erbij. Super lekker eten, super vriendelijk personeel, en dat alles in een prachtig mooi en net restaurant. Dit restaurant is zeer zeker aan te bevelen.

What was supposed to be a nice birthday outing really turned out to be a downer. Indicated in advance that it had to be cow's milk free and also during the order. But no cow's milk-free food was available. Tried to kindly indicate this, but it was too much effort to adjust this…. The service was very unfriendly and blamed everything on us. Deserts nice portions, not too stingy with ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate. Highly recommended for family or friends evenings. Sitting down just to have a drink is no problem. When visiting, it was indicated that the chocolate could be separate for the Dame Blanche. Some time later I went again and concluded that they had listened: the chocolate had been placed separately next to it. In short, highly recommended!

Delicious mustard soup, pork roulade with sauce that didn't taste like anything(?), had asked for pepper sauce. But didn't taste any pepper. Dessert Tiramisu was fine. Wine white was also good. Add two vegetables, cauliflower and raw vegetables and fried potatoes and fries. That's very nice, those two types of vegetables.

Are you thinking about having a nice dinner with your children for Father's Day? What a disappointment that was. My son immediately said it looks like a Sonac box and I have nothing to add to that. Passed this on to the waitress but nothing was done about it, I paid nicely, but won't be back. Big minus for me.

Nice eatery. Next to the children's play corner is not an ideal place to have table conversations. The noise from that corner makes it difficult to understand each other.

It looks nice at the Dorpskamer in Leek. But we no longer go there for soft ice cream and ice cream. Our giant cup for 2.50 euros squeaked less than 2 cm above the cup. A mini giant cup. The cup was also not filled to the sides and it took a very long time to fill a cup with this soft ice cream machine. It was nice and soft and creamy ice cream. The customers in front of us had ice cream. Also very expensive here at 1.60 euros, but that is normal in the catering industry nowadays. Although you do get larger bulbs from competitors. Very small balls here.

What a beautiful restaurant and snack bar, what more could you want, had a delicious lunch and plan to go out for dinner with my family, so that says enough, chicken, meat, fish and vegetarian or vegan, the choice is huge. and nice people, so if you want something, go to the village room.

Had lunch here this afternoon with 4 people. I found the reception and service very friendly and correct. The interior is modern, cozy and attractive. The toilets were fresh and clean, very important! The food was good and tasty. The service was smooth and you were helped quickly. Very nice. In short; I will come back here again. The location (the heart of Leek) is really beautiful, especially on a summer day!

After several bad experiences, I'm now done with it. Delivering spoiled tzatziki with the Greek fries was the final straw. New tzatziki was subsequently delivered, but then the rest becomes cold. The result is a dry bowl of fries and gyros.

Unfortunately, the service has deteriorated considerably, probably due to a lack of staff. We were served by a somewhat gruff older man, who only shuffled over every now and then. My husband wanted a senior portion of satay, but this became a regular portion. He also wanted a dessert with 2 scoops of ice cream instead of 3, but apparently this was not possible because it was so busy (!). In short, service is unpleasant. The food was still good, but if you are treated so unfriendly you will no longer enjoy eating there. Shame!

We thought we would have a nice meal at the village room in Leek during Christmas, but unfortunately the food was so bad, I have never experienced this before and no one would recommend going there and that for an abnormal price.

Zowel een aanrader voor ter plaatse eten als het afhalen voor bijvoorbeeld lunch. Al een aantal keer gegeten en gewoon een goede selectie aan smaakvolle gerechten, waarbij er voor ieder wat wils is (vlees,vis vega).

Lekker gegeten, gezellig aangekleed in kerstsfeer.

Ik vond dat er maar weinig patat voor ons werd bedient.we zaten er met acht personen en kregen maat 3 puntzakken patat,en er werd niet naar gevraagt dat het allemaal naar wens was
