De Friterie in Wijk 00 Sluis

A good diner with a wide range of options. The service was very nice. No WiFi available.

Very friendly staff and tasty fries

The waiter was very friendly; it was a pleasure to be welcomed so warmly. We ordered four large fries and some meatballs, and it was great. Thank you for the staff's kindness and for making an effort to understand us.

Busy street. Tables were still wet after the rain; sat across the street in the sun. But a lot is wrong there. The ice cream was “too warm,” so it had already melted when we bought it and was falling off the cone. We did get a cup, though.

Very unfriendly service. The food was absolutely not as it should be. The cheese on the cheeseburgers wasn't even melted. The Viandel Special wasn't even cut open, and all the sauce was just thrown into the pot. Additionally, even the owner was very rude. At first, he didn't want to give us our food because he said we weren't "from around here." Only when we explained that we were staying at the campsite did he give it to us. He then started questioning us about which campsite we were staying at, all in a very unfriendly and rude manner. For this price, you expect better service and quality. We absolutely do not recommend this chip shop.

Very affordable prices, a wide selection, and something for every budget. Plus, they make the effort to speak other languages, unlike some other restaurants in Sluis. I highly recommend it for a pleasant break with a magnificent view of the Sluis belfry.

Fries with satay sauce and fry sauce. Owner unfriendly towards staff. The satay sauce had a strange taste. Tasted like it was old satay sauce. The fries weren't good either. And quite pricey. Not worth repeating.

Had a delicious meal in the courtyard of Sluis!

Today june 11th I tried to walk in the De Friterie when a unpolite bald guy probally the (owner) was telling me in the dutch that the friterie is closed and u can go the other one he Said very unfriendly and said godverdomme .as i could understand him the most.

To the young man who followed us on Saturday, May 30th, and quite rudely asked, "Did you pay your bill on our terrace?" Yes, we had done that, 12.50 euros. To the boy who made our ice cream and served us—and he was a very friendly little guy—but the boss walked around us at least six times. He wanted us to leave quickly with two Cokes and two Ice Creams; that was very noticeable. To then just follow us like that, you won't see us again. And the young man who gave us our ice cream and drinks was very friendly, and then that guy even dared to announce, "Oh yes, and to you, did you pay someone?" and dared to say, "Oh yes, but he is quite forgetful," and then he turned around and was gone without saying a word. "Oh yes, sorry then, how can you be so rude?"

The fries are always fantastic (without the skin 🙂, crispy, cooked through, and tasty). The staff is friendly and has a sense of humor. The indoor air suffers a bit from drafts mixed with cigarette smoke. Otherwise, perfect!

Very unfriendly owner. Little commercial insight.

Delicious, crispy fries, and a crunchy croque. The portions are generous! Tastefully decorated, clean, and well-maintained! Thank you and see you soon!

Delicious fries, great selection of sauces, and cheerful staff! The fries were perfect: thick-cut, crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside.

Nice people and prompt service. Great!

good food but 2 very rude employees

Aimable. Friendly, quick ordering, good price-quality ratio

We ate very well at more than reasonable prices; the food was excellent and there was a wide selection. The staff was very polite and pleasant; we'll definitely be back.

Delicious fresh fries and snacks, good service and wide range.

A cutlet menu for two... Delicious!!!

We went there for dinner with 6 adults and 2 children. The food was delicious. And the service was friendly and helpful!!👍👌

Fries with stew were delicious, but it was a shame there wasn't much stew meat in it, although the flavor was very good. I found the small package of fries with stew rather small. In Belgian chip shops, that would be a mini package. The flavor, however, was excellent, that much is true.

Waiting over 30 minutes for a simple, average takeaway fries. Staff not very friendly. Lack of staff (one person for takeaway and dine-in fries). But the fries are good.

Rude twats who work here. They're angry because the place is always empty.

Price and quality are correct but staff are quite unpleasant.

A great chip shop, just the way it should be. Crispy fries, not thin. Fast service, a choice of mayonnaise. Reasonable prices. Little time to make your choice, even though we were the only ones there. But it's a great place!

Tasty fries, lots of small pieces and a lot of salt, but tasty.

Snack of the delicious variety! We were just there and tried the fries and burgers. Top food at acceptable prices and very nice service and great ambience. We didn't find a fly in the ointment here and we were all very satisfied. We would love to come back 👌🏻👍🏻

No service came to us. So we spoke to an employee and he was immediately unfriendly. He said we were on vacation and he had to work. When we weren't served we left. The employee apparently didn't like foreigners. That seemed racist.

Fries are super tasty and the mayonnaise too - Bami - so-so is better :) kibbelinge is also good - there is still room for improvement here

Haal hier bijna wekelijks frietjes. Prima stoverij. Ook alle gewone frituur snacks te verkrijgen. Mooie porties. Vriendelijke snelle bediening.

Friendly Service in a nice and clean Place. Very good Pommes Special and Frikandel Love to come back

We found a very clean and tidy restaurant. The fries we ordered were prepared quickly. These were nice and hot, crunchy and fresh - just perfect. The price of, for example, €5 per large fries is completely reasonable. By the way: a large french fry contains around 500g of potatoes. The staff was very friendly! If we come to the region again, we'd be happy to come back!

Zin in een frietje even binnengelopen.

Very tasty food and not just fries, a very extensive range of different food choices! top staff and good service Good prices for the quality you get! Recommended!!!! Edit: recently visited again and nice renovation of the interior, hats off!

Gezellig zitten is anders. Jammer

The fries and Frinkandel Special were very tasty, the service was quick and attentive. Price performance is reasonable.

Great chip shop! I had the chicken salad with fries and my friend the stew. Value for money! Good price/quality. We couldn't finish it. Super nice staff and delicious food. Recommended!

Advertising Sangria from a well-known brand but offering cheap supermarket sangria with canned fruit…

What a nice chip shop. Very tasty fries, you would almost think that a Belgian is frying fries. Other dishes are also tasty, such as their snacks. We didn't have to wait long either. Also good price range, so not expensive, so also good for people who want to go to a restaurant with their child and don't have a lot of money.

Tasty fries, friendly service, great.

The tastiest schnitzel and fries ever eaten, very friendly, fast service. Wine, fortunately still a normal price.

Everything was great, large selection of different dishes

The fries are nice and crunchy and not over-salted. The children enjoyed the cheeseburger and the chicken burger. The chicken nuggets from the kids menu looked like run of the mill nuggets. The Tonaten soup tasted a lot like packet soup and wasn't convincing. The staff is friendly and also tries to speak foreign languages. The restaurant seemed clean.

Very satisfied with our visit to this place today. Food and service were very good. Thank you, and hope to visit you again.

Very tasty and fast and friendly service

Tasty fries, everything very neat, friendly and smooth service at the table. It is positive that the waiter did not ask if I wanted something to drink after ordering fries. I thought it was a shame that mayonnaise was put on the fries and not in a separate jar.

Very unfriendly, you get yelled at

Heerlijke peperhamburger en .cheeseburger

Nice place to stop by for quick food.

Zeer lekkere frieten. Snelle bediening.

Freundliche Bedienung

Nettes Personal, vernünftige Preise, leckeres holländisches Essen.

Eerste keer daar binnen geweest! Heel Lekker gegeten! Service héél vlot en vriendelijk!

Heerlijk gegeten.

Notre point de chute a chaque visite à sluis.
