Unexpected hidden spot! Lovely terrace by the water and good food and drinks!

July 19, 2025, I had lunch here with a group. The cozy terrace is located near the water and enjoys the sunshine. The food photos on the Fuuut website look beautiful and generous. The actual portions are subpar. The chicken satay I ordered consisted of a "decent" skewer, four small pieces of prawn crackers from a bag, a small amount of atjar, and a handful of fries. The ice cream I ordered was a minimally filled soft serve. The price for the chicken satay was 17.95, the ice cream 7.95. You get far too little for what you pay. The beers I ordered were nice and cold, which made the lunch somewhat worthwhile. I won't be returning for the food, which is a shame for such a nice location.

Lovely location. The lunch wasn't anything special, but it was delicious! Friendly staff and fast service. We'll definitely be back if we're ever in the area again.

Here you can have a delicious lunch and dinner or have a drink or enjoy a nice cup of coffee and cake. The terrace is beautifully situated on the water. From here you can also go walking and cycling. When you come back, have dinner. A good end to the day.

High tea, had to wait quite a long time for the first and then the second pot of hot water. Snacks were all very tasty, but a bit small, normally I expect slightly more extensive sandwiches than 2 slices of filled baguette per person.

Ate here on April 25. Because it fell just before King's Day weekend, they had no fish, which cut about 1/3 of the menu (and precisely the part that both my mother and wife wanted). We hesitated for a while whether we should leave, but decided to stay anyway. Anyway, that now results in a significant deduction for the Food component. The service itself was quite good, but due to the pub quiz that was apparently there, there was sometimes limited attention for us as restaurant visitors, a minor drawback. The music was generally quite loud (I have no idea if that is standard, but I assumed so in the rating). Listening to the pub quiz and participating in our heads was fun, but it did not really fit into the atmosphere of a restaurant. All in all mixed feelings about the atmosphere. Finally, a positive point, although that was not very useful for us (they had no way of knowing). We were offered an orange bitter (at least the adults) because it was almost King's Day. However, we hardly drink alcohol, partly because my wife is not allowed to because of her medication. The gesture was appreciated.

The food was delicious! We had to wait a while for it and despite the fact that it was reported that there was a pregnant woman in the group, the high tea was not completely "pregnancy proof". We were a group of 18. Everything was well organised, we had been given a number of tables for this group. Great service and tasty snacks

Discovered because we had a gift voucher. Had a lovely lunch with my grandmother and mother. Grandma and I eggs benedict: really tasty. Nice portion, just good. The truffle burger with large portion of fries was also good. Drinks decent prices (flat white for €3.10 and no surcharge for decaf). Recommended.

Because of my husband's 60th birthday we had a delicious meal, especially the salmon and fries rendang, which was definitely worth repeating. Then there was a surprise party for my husband with delicious snacks such as the grebe board and pinchos and of course the necessary drinks. It was a very successful and enjoyable evening. My wife and I arrived at 8 to 5 and we were immediately informed that we could only order dinner at 5 p.m. After I said that we had driven here from far away and that nothing about this was on the site, an exception was made. Ordered carpachio that was very sparsely topped and overly sprayed with truffle sauce, it was too small for the money I paid for it (10 euros), the meat of the carpachio was very tender. The hamburger ordered was fine with the garnish included. The dessert was downright bad: far too little: a mini bowl of crème bueliee for 9.50! Euro and 2 scoops of ice cream with some chocolate sauce sprinkled on Dame blanche for 8! Euro!! The two of us got 78!!! Euro too little food. At Van der Valk the two of us eat for the same money in a better quality restaurant. The ambiance is also sloppy with such a parcel service. It seems like there is not enough money to be made from the restaurant? My suggestion is to appoint a chef who really has better ideas about the ingredients and the layout of the dishes!

Today I had cappu oat milk, smoothie and carrot cake, nothing wrong with that. And a lovely waitress, what more could you want?

Tasted high tea with my daughter. Atmosphere is good and the service friendly. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing and, given the photos on the site, we had different expectations. We got three toasts with tuna, avocado and a kind of croquette. In addition, a flame and a cheese soufflé. In addition to a piece of brownie, a small cupcake with Smarties as a topping, a snicker cake that fell apart and a scone with jam and whipped cream. The toasts tasted great. Unfortunately not worth repeating. Location is also great.

Waited 55 minutes for our food. I was going to order grilled vegetables but they were out, the waitress said. There was nothing more vegan and I asked if they had anything else vegan, but in the end the grilled vegetables were available again. I saw that my neighbor had also ordered them. After 55 minutes we went to ask where our food was, they had forgotten us! If we waited 10 minutes it would be ready. We just went home and didn't have to pay for our water, that's nice 😂. Sweet waitress and didn't blame her either.

I picked up a package at this location for the 2nd time today. And once again I am treated there in an extremely scandalous way. I will mention 1 point of the many unwelcome things that were said because the lady did not feel like looking for my package. She was too busy preparing dinner. (Then you should not start a parcel service in your restaurant). So I indicated that I am chronically ill due to cancer, currently have very poor mobility and whether she could help me out because I would no longer be able to come again today. The lady says simply; 'I also have problems with my knee', 'pick out your package yourself' and 'put them away for me straight away'. I noticed that she also acts like a witch against her much younger staff. The lady clearly thinks she is above the rest of the world. I confronted her about this. But the lady just laughs at me. So, never come here again for fun. By the way, a friend of mine recently had dinner here for her baby shower and also indicated that there was a very strange and unpleasant atmosphere. According to her, the food wasn't very great either.

Cozy atmosphere with enthusiastic employees. We had taken the chef's bread and soup in advance. Sea bass and a Mexican burger as main course. Everything tasted great, only the burger could have been a little warmer. Coffee and cappuccino. Furthermore, a nice location where you can sit outside by the water on sunny days. Surprisingly good! When you enter you initially doubt whether you are in a hip community center or restaurant, but later it turns out to be a really nice menu, where we were allowed to order something from the dinner menu - very nicely - earlier than the indicated time, a delicious primitivo on the card, and as icing on the cake, lovely girls in the service! The food was genuinely good too! Definitely go here for a drink or a bite to eat, highly recommended!

Bad experience!!! we had a giftforyou lunch de luxe voucher worth €40. With the voucher you could only eat and you had to pay for the drinks separately. We have never experienced this before!!!! Our food was €25 and we simply lost the rest of the money. Be careful people that you do not go to restaurant De Fuut with a voucher. You have been warned.....

The place is positioned at a spectacular place near water stream and the food is well prepared. However, the place is deafly quiet like a funeral place with not even a bit of music to cheer customers up. There is great potential in the fuuut but as long as its boring there I am afraid they might have to close down.
