Great location, very customer-friendly. Went there for a party. Large terrace.

A wonderful place to dine. The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff is friendly, and the food is excellent. Each course is carefully explained, the specifics of each wine are provided, and without being annoying, they occasionally check if everything is still to your liking. The only downside is the disappointing amount of vegetables, both in terms of quantity and the simple salad. It's truly nothing compared to the other dishes and the way it's presented. Definitely worth dining at the new location again.

We had high tea twice, it was tasty, but I didn't like pepper soup and there is no alternative. Too bad there is no choice. Too bad for this case.

Had a BBQ buffet with a large group. Cozy in a semi-enclosed space, so that it immediately feels very personal. The food is, in one word, great. Everything was so tasty. Lots of diversity, delicious side dishes and more than enough of everything. Well organized that you were allowed to go to the buffet per table. That means you were eating at the same time. The service is very neat. Attentive and observant. Would love to come back here again!

We took the three-course menu where the chef himself determined the dishes. Delicious food, good explanation of the dishes and we enjoyed the atmosphere in the restaurant. As far as we are concerned, it is highly recommended, especially now that the site states that they may be closing.

Had a great meal here! An excellent chef who holds sway here. Difficult to choose from the extensive menu with all those beautiful dishes, but because we will definitely come back here, other dishes will still get a chance. The service is friendly, pleasantly informal, alert and attentive. Also great! Beautiful and warm inn-like decor. The only thing that bothers me (in more restaurants these days) is the poorly maintained acoustics. Normal sounds reverberate so much that it feels far too loud and even unpleasant. If we sometimes cannot understand each other at the table, something is really wrong. I understand that this restaurant will not change anything about this, because unfortunately they will have to leave this location in a year's time. It's a pity! Hopefully we will see each other again at a new location nearby with the same top chef and ditto service, but with better acoustics.

Haven't been for a long time, but had a fantastic experience tonight. Recommended for anyone who wants a good meal. We will do this more often, that's for sure!!

Starters were fine, we came specifically for the veal schnitzel but that was a disappointment. Not often found on the menu anymore, but it was tough and from the fryer.

Two bowls of fries for ten people is a bit small. A nice piece of meat, but you had to look for vegetables. The service, which overwrought, responded to a comment made. So all in all, it is not recommended to eat there (it has also been sold and I like it). along on )

Incredible food and very nice and friendly staff. It was very loud inside though, so they could work on the acoustics. Also it was quite warm inside but there was no option to open a window. Then again, the most important things are the food and the service, which were both great! And the dining area looks incredible as well.

I have been to this restaurant for weddings and other ceremonies. The food is great, and you can dine here or organize a bigger dinner for several people. They have a large indoor and outdoor area. The personnel is professional and very friendly. It is located not far from the center, and they have sufficient parking spots. It is a very clean and well-managed restaurant.

We were on holiday in Veenendaal and had a fantastic meal here. The restaurant and terrace were beautiful. The terrace is non-smoking, which I found very pleasant. We opted for the 5-course surprise menu and had a delicious meal. The lobster soup as a highlight! The service was extremely friendly and really added a cheerful note to our wonderful evening. All compliments for Vendel restaurant!

It's just great! Since we have a daughter, we notice that having a bite to eat together is rare, but if we do, it just has to be good, the service, the quality of the food and the atmosphere. You can completely rely on this at De Vendel. We had a delicious meal here again tonight. The host was incredibly friendly and our food was consistently served at exactly the right time. Highly recommended.

What a cozy and excellent terrace they have here. The food we had for lunch was Asparagus Salad with Salmon, really delicious and the Club Sandwich with fries were particularly well prepared, really paying attention to it, it was super nice weather so delicious on the terrace. Go here We will definitely go there more often

Thought it was a nice place. Nicely decorated and great for weddings and parties. Friendly and friendly staff kept everything tidy. Starter was delicious, various small snacks and plenty of it. Main course a little less. Salmon was slightly overcooked together with the shrimp. Chicken satay was fine. The stew could have been seasoned a little more. The desserts were in tip top condition. This place is not recommended, you can have a great time there

Beautiful and quiet place. Good service. Tasty tea. Excellent starter (slightly different than expected, but that was nice). Good wine. Main course a bit standard for the price. Not many vegetables, but again the fries. If I want snacks I go to the snack bar. Rather make a choice, for example nice boiled potatoes in their skin, puree, or something completely different for the carbs (couscous?). What was really not useful... odor nuisance from the BBQ that occasionally came into the restaurant. Not nice for the taste.

Arrived here for lunch just to be told there is no babychair available and that the restaurant is not actually “ for kids) If the restaurant is not for kids maybe you can mention this on your site. The floor manager was also not very welcoming and didnt seem to have an issue that we coulnt stay for lunch. I didnt like his comments that the restaurant was not meant for babies .. we drove from Germany thinking we can stop and have a lovely lunch just to get this very unfriendly treatment at restaurant vendel

Last night the four of us went to your place for dinner. What a beautiful place, with delicious food and fantastic service. And the price-quality is proportionate. You are welcome in this restaurant in both sneakers and heels, which makes it accessible to a wide audience. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely come back!

We were there as a gathering after a cremation. Excellent care and staff. The host was out of place in terms of clothing, could have been a little more appropriate and would therefore radiate more class.

Prachtige lokatie en mooi terras. We hebben echt kekker gegeten. De zeebaars, die ik had besteld, was perfect klaar gemaakt en de snitzel van mijn vrouw was ook perfect (absoluut niet droog als bij een vorig restaurant). Echt een aanrader dit restaurant.
