Great restaurant, looks very neat! The gluten-free cones they were able to offer in the park's adjacent snack bar were a complete surprise for us.

The food was great, nice concept with all kinds of small bites. We have been coming here for years; it remains good. Now also beautifully renovated.

First impression of the snack bar Fries for my family of 4 people. 4 Van Dobben mayo and satay sauce. The Van Dobben ones were very on the greasy side, also caused a slight stomach ache afterwards, and I didn't recognize the taste of the mayo. Now, the real one? Which brand do you use? The fries were fine. Received good help regarding the fry container sizes; ultimately took a large and a small one, which was more than enough. Sorry, but Big Bread Kitchen is better further down the road in the village. Too bad, but unfortunately, I won't be coming here again.

We had a delicious portion of fries at the snack bar at Verlodge, outside at the picnic table. The service was good and the staff were friendly. The food was good. The fries were nicely crispy, had a good amount of salt, and the bowls were well filled. Furthermore, the accompanying snack, a viandel, was nice and crispy and well cooked. Definitely recommended for a nice meal outside at a picnic table.

We had a delicious meal and the staff were good and friendly. There was very little noise coming from the children's area next to where we were seated, so you could easily talk to everyone. The food was tasty and the wait wasn't long before it arrived.

We ate here last week with family for my parents' 55th wedding anniversary. My parents had reserved a table in advance close to the indoor play area for the youngest grandchildren. This was ideal. We started with coffee and cake, followed by the all-you-can-eat. This was fantastic. The food was good. There was something for everyone. A minor point of attention might be that the tables could have been cleared sooner. The price was very reasonable. We will definitely come back here again.

An extremely disappointing experience. We came with friends to have a drink at the bar-restaurant, drawn by the atmosphere, the music, and the karaoke. We had barely stepped inside when a woman curtly informed us that the establishment was closed. Yet, at the same time, we saw a waitress bringing a large tray of fries to customers who were already seated. This situation left us with a profound sense of bewilderment. We had just come from Defqon.1, part of which had been canceled, and we felt judged on our appearance or where we were from. We can't say for sure that this was the case, but that's certainly how we felt. Not speaking fluent English, it was difficult for us to ask for explanations or defend our point of view. We left feeling rejected for no good reason. A minimum of courtesy, explanation, and respect towards potential customers would have been appreciated. This experience left us with a very bad impression and makes us absolutely not want to return. We arrived at midnight, it's currently 12:30 AM, and we can still hear music at the far end of the campsite. Is it really closed?!

Bowling was fun, the room was a bit cramped though; having a drink afterwards and letting the children play inside was perfectly fine.

The selection is limited, but the food is very tasty and homemade. The waiting times are also quite short.

After reading some negative reviews here, we were a bit skeptical beforehand, but that turned out to be unnecessary. The concept of small bites is very nice, and most dishes tasted great. Portions are sometimes a bit large; with this concept, they could occasionally be a little smaller. There is indeed a play area in the restaurant, but it is located to the side near the toilets. So you won't be bothered by it if you are seated on the other side. A really nice restaurant.

We had made a reservation, but it wasn't necessary; it was very quiet. We asked for a table not too close to the children's area. Where were we seated? Right next to the ball pit. The staff showed no interest whatsoever. We received the menu and the drink we had ordered. After that, nothing came. The staff completely ignored us. After half an hour, we'd had enough and paid for our drinks. The lady behind the bar was just busy showing photos to an acquaintance of hers. Never again for us.

We had a delicious meal together! We chose from Hapas (Tapas in a Dutch style), which is also great fun to do with the kids, and à la carte dinner. The Hapas are delicious! A super beautiful restaurant, one of the most beautiful we have ever come across at a holiday park. We will definitely be back here!

The food was okay for a restaurant at a holiday park. I felt there was little atmosphere; few tables were occupied, and we were quite spread out. For the money we paid, the food and atmosphere were not worth it. At one point, it took quite a long time, and sometimes items were missing from our table as well as from other tables, but this was also because the kitchen had already finished things by throwing items away and clearing them away. The female waitress was very observant, the male waitress slightly less so.

The food is good, some parts very delicious, some just so-so, but overall good! The ambiance is okay, but not particularly comfortable. The service is friendly and attentive, though sometimes a bit chaotic... for 5 stars, it's missing a few things in all areas for a truly enjoyable evening, especially with children, but overall great!

Good value for money, definitely recommended with children. If you want a quiet meal, that's the only personal reason I can think of that wouldn't make you go here. But highly recommended!

The food was good. The staff was friendly. But the concept is disappointing. Dishes are served individually, not per table. This is mentioned somewhere, but it's not convenient.

A great restaurant, especially for children, thanks to the play equipment. The food was varied, but generally good. Some things seemed very fresh, while others weren't quite right. There's a lot of choice, and perhaps that's the problem. Despite everything, you really have to work hard not to go home hungry. And the kids? They have a blast!

We went there with our whole family, 10 adults and 11 children. We had a delicious meal, and the kids could enjoy themselves in the indoor play area between snacks. The staff took excellent care of us. The dessert corner was a real treat.

Don't eat here! The fact that there are actually positive reviews is ASTOUNDING. It was so incredibly bad that I wonder if this food is even allowed in the green bin?

The food was very good, except for the cheese fondue. Way too peppery; the color and taste didn't really resemble cheese fondue. A shame. Also very noisy.

The food was fine, the service was friendly and certainly did their best, but it was truly appalling. It seemed like all the young girls were unsupervised. Drinks didn't arrive, or they didn't bring what we ordered. The serving process was chaotic; some items didn't arrive at all or arrived much later, and sometimes we received dishes we hadn't ordered. The staff really tried their best, but they clearly lacked oversight. The concept is nice, but the execution really needs to be improved.

Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos. But the food was delicious! My only criticism was that it took a very long time for the food to arrive. I had a roll with some spreads as a starter, and that arrived almost simultaneously with the main course. But honestly, it was delicious!

Great concept. Unlimited food. Drinks have to be paid for separately. You can order two dishes per person per round. You write the dish numbers on a card, which is collected each time. A little later, the dishes are served, and you can order again for a new round.

The food was delicious, and despite being busy, everything was served relatively quickly. If something is served cold, just reorder. This isn't a problem; it happens. It doesn't have 5 Michelin stars, but everyone does their best. This place is ideal for small children; let them know, and they'll put you near the children's play area. See you soon! René

Had dinner with a large group of Happas. Food was of good quality but the order of serving was chaotic, some table companions had already started their third round while other table companions had not received anything yet, which caused the entire evening to be unclear about who had ordered which dish. Drinks were also taken and served too late. Hostess was also very curt, both via email and on site. Atmosphere in the restaurant was very bad

Probably the chef was free when we ate there, everything, except what came out of the fryer, was of very poor quality. Such as steak type shoe sole, burnt nachos, chicken with a load of salt etc etc. On the positive side, the service was very friendly and also agreed with us because after consultation with the boss we only had to pay for our drinks.

Unfortunately for us, not a second time. To start with something positive, the service was very friendly but that was about it. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a football canteen and you can enjoy yourself with children running around, arguing and screaming. The food, well what can I say, we had the All You can eat Hapas, the cheeseburger seemed to be made of rubber, the sushi looked like a cheeseburger, the Vitello Tonnato should not bear the name of this originally delicious dish and the spare ribs... tough and tasteless. I won't mention the other dishes but you can eat much better at an average snack bar. Really such a terrible waste of our money!!

Delicious food, every dish is made with care. A busy and noisy space, when it is busy it can take a long time and you don't have something to eat at the same time.

We visited this restaurant on an evening when only “hapas” could be eaten. So I have no opinion about the a la carte menu. Based on our experience, I definitely do not recommend this restaurant. Service is correct, but not friendly, cooperative, or otherwise contributing to a pleasant atmosphere. The choice of snacks ranges from pancakes and snack bar food to some excursions into international dishes (think sushi, bruschetta, satay). You may order two dishes per person at a time. In itself a commendable approach to combating food waste. However, it would be nice if the ordered snacks were a) reasonably quickly and b) served at the same time. Unfortunately that is not the case. For example, in the first round we received 1 patty with chicken ragou (the supermarket version tastes exactly the same, but at least you can serve it warm, something this restaurant was unable to do), followed five minutes later by two different bruschetta (great toast, the toppings were unfortunately taken from a very cold refrigerator and therefore tasted of nothing), followed again five minutes later by the fourth dish. Do this twice more and then you'll be there for over an hour, without the feeling of having eaten a meal. Add to this that the drinks menu does not show prices and you understand that this restaurant is not aimed at giving you a pleasant evening, but is only after your money. Pro (the only one) is the play corner for children.

We have been several times, it was really good, there is one downside: there is no whipped cream, and that is part of it!! But we will definitely come back!!!

Management is simply incompetent. So many staff and all walking around in an unstructured manner. No division of roles as to who does what. 9/10 times there is no one behind the bar so no drinks are made. Drinks and food also wait for a very long time before they are brought away. And ordering another drink or round of tapas is certainly a challenge. The staff wears blinders and just doesn't want to serve, it seems. I don't understand why they got so many good reviews here.

The food was good, it still comes with wrappers. A shame for the environment tablets are more environmentally conscious.

We ate all you can eat. There is no time limit, you can continue ordering as long as you want. Until the kitchen closes, of course. It's really aimed at children. A fairly large indoor playground, for a restaurant. The children are having fun and arguing, you can hear that. The restaurant also attracts many families, so you regularly hear crying children. It was quite quiet during our visit, so it will be even more so on busy days. The food was okay. Many dishes came from the deep fryer, such as shawarma rolls, schnitzel and fries. The sushi carpaccio was rice in a seaweed sheet with carpaccio on top. Not very special. The pulled pork had a familiar taste, as if it came from a can. The service was friendly and helpful.

Were supposed to go bowling and eat here, we were too early for bowling and couldn't come earlier because the lane was busy, but we had to have a coffee first after asking 3 times. Contact was made in advance due to gluten and lactose allergies. They were familiar with this and there would be plenty of choice. Unfortunately, this turned out not to be the case... every dish I ordered was either not available or was suddenly different from what was stated on the menu. I understand you want to make money, but please be honest and say: it is better to choose another restaurant. Fortunately, my family members were able to eat their fill of dishes that were just placed on the table without having ordered them.

Beautiful and nice location with a good atmosphere. You can easily park in front of the door and there is an indoor play area for the children. There is enough and variable choice on the menu, so something for everyone! The quality of the food is good, and every dish is beautifully served. Staff is friendly and willing to help if you ask a question. It is highly recommended to go there once!

Delicious food!! Recommended. Everything was really tasty. First we went bowling for an hour (nice lane and well organised) and then we had dinner. We will definitely come back.

We came for the hapas menu. Food is really great, the restaurant itself looks good, service is friendly, really wants to work and keep going, but somehow it is a real drama for our orders.. each time took a very long time and the rounds were mixed up.

Well eaten. We did the all you can eat concept to try everything. I thought the bread you get in advance was quite dry, but the rest went well. Personally, I would like to see the sauces come separately, because of the amount you want to use. As I said before, the food was satisfactory. What I thought was a shame was the meatball, which is such a factory thing. People are friendly and you get enough. Drinks must be paid for separately.

Despite the hustle and bustle of the Pentecost weekend, we helped fairly quickly. Snacks are fine. Menu for vegetarians could be expanded a bit. As far as I'm concerned, orders for children should also be given priority. There is a beautiful indoor playground for children, which gives you as a parent the opportunity to eat quietly and thus reduces the time waiting for the snacks.

Was vegan food on the menu while it was vegetarian... when asked what they had as vegan, the answer was actually nothing except wedges and fries...

The Gasterij fully complies with the reviews already written. Simultaneous delivery of really well-made dishes, so start together. The staff pays close attention to whether the glasses are "dry". Attractive decoration, which even worked well on a quiet Thursday evening. Definitely recommended, especially in combination with a game of bowling.

Cozy and good food Mainly tapas

Erg lekker eten! Kwaliteit blijft hoog ook al word het drukker in de zaak. Ik was op een zaterdag avond, bijna alles zat vol maar de bestellingen bleven vlot komen. Een zeer ruime keuze aan gerechtjes, ook nog toetjes en ijs wat je zelf kunt opscheppen. Zeker een aanrader!!

Heerlijk gegeten, ondanks de drukte was alles goed geregeld. We hebben lekker een potje poolen gedaan en we zijn wezen bowlen. En daarna lekker wezen eten.

Met 16 man gegeten. Was voor een maandagavond wel erg druk. Elke keer via een kaart hapjes opgeven. Duurde soms wel eeg kang voordat het geserveerd werd. Gerechten van de 2e ronde kwamen, hilarisch, na de 4e. Nummers werden af en toe omgewisseld. Dat was een verrassingseffect! Drankjes ging heel goed en werden snel geserveerd. Al met al was het toch een geweldige avond!

cappuccino met appelgebak genomen. Was goed te doen. Enigste nadeel was dat er vliegen rondvlogen wat ik redelijk smerig/irritant vond.

Voor de tweede keer geweest maar ook tevens de laatste. Eten is prima,daar niet van maar het ergste is het geschreeuw en geren door de zaal van kinderen op blote voeten die niet onder controle gehouden worden. En tevens met hun handen in de bakken met ijs liggen te graaien. Wil je rustig een avondje eten dan zou ik hier iig niet naar toe gaan.

Vorig jaar een fijnere avond gehad. We werden nu met 5 volwassen vlak naast de kinder hoek neergezet, op een volle zaterdag avond. (Had nog gevraagd om een ronde tafel vooraan, maar die bleef de hele avond leeg) We konden geen normaal gesprek voeren met elkaar ,zo veel lawaai en schreeuwende en gillende kinderen is geen succes voor een gezellig avondje uiteten. Eten uitserveren duurde ook echt veel langer dan vorig jaar, sommige rondjes duurde langer dan 30 min... JAMMER!! Grote porties en het meeste smaakte prima. Maar toch ondanks deze ervaring komen wij niet meer terug.

Heel leuk om met kinderen te eten, super lief personeel en de hapjes zijn goed. Lekker ook dat de kinderen kunnen spelen. Wel rekening houden dat er dus veel kinderen aanwezig zijn.

Wij vonden dit een geweldig restaurant om met onze kinderen naar toe te gaan. Er is voor hun veel keuze en een leuk speelgedeelte. Ook voor ons was er veel keuze en de gerechten waren allemaal lekker. Het dessertbuffet viel erg goed in de smaak. Ik zou dit restaurant zeker aanraden, met of zonder kinderen!

Gezellige locatie en lekker eten

Tijdens onze fietstocht hebben wij de locatie bezocht voor een lunch. Tijdens het wachten op de lunch werden we gek van de vele vliegen, zelfs vele doden op de vloer en op de tafels. Een ander echtpaar een tafel verderop met 2 kinderen waren tijdens hun lunch ook druk doende om de vliegen te verjagen. Wat ook opviel was de smerige vloer, een teken dat er voor de opening niets was geveegd. Wij hebbens ons drankje gepakt en zijn buiten gaan zitten en daar onze lunch genuttigd ook al was het een stuk frisser, maar beter dat dan al die vliegen. De lunch was verder wel goed en de bediening ook vriendelijk, maar een volgende keer fietsen wij wel voorbij.

Helaas een uur moeten wachten op ons eten. Mogelijk ging het niet helemaal goed betreft communicatie. Kregen wel ter compensatie wel een drankje van het huis en gaven aan het ook vervelend te vinden. Eten was overigens wel heerlijk! Dus daarvoor wel complimenten!

Jammer dat het bij de bowling baan zo smerig was. Lag heel veel stof en vieze tafels met glazen van vorige mensen

Lekker gegeten voor een avondje. Was leuk ingericht en mooi gedeelte voor de kinderen. Echter was het personeel niet gastgericht. Ze gooide gwn de bordjes op tafel zonder te kijken. Het personeel had er duidelijk geen zin en waren niet geïnteresseerd, ik denk als je geen zin hebt in je baan moet je maar een andere baan zoeken. Er werd niet een keer gelachen naar je. Overigens was al het eten wel goed warm. We hadden ook nog gebeld en kwamen ook niet echt geïnteresseerd over.

Heerlijk gegeten. Leuk concept en ondanks dat het restaurant vol zat (reserveren nodig) vlot geholpen door de gastvrije bediening. Ideaal voor gezinnen door de grote binnen speelruimte. Voor een gezin van vijf (twee kinderen + baby) ongeveer €100 kwijt. Dat is prima voor wat je krijgt.

Heel leuk en lekker restaurant veel verschillende keuze in hapjes worden vers gemaakt en voor de kinderen een leuk speeltuintje over dekt en een ruime aan kinder gerechtjes

Leuk concept! Leuke kleinere porties en van alles te bestellen. Ook voor de kinderen veel keus! Voor de ouders fijn dat er een kleine indoor speeltuin bij is! Is het voor papa en mama mogelijk nog even te blijven zitten en iets langer van het eten te genieten.

Een gezellig familie restaurant, erg sfeervol en vriendelijk personeel. Lekkere keuzes in het menu, echt voor een ieder wat wils.

We hebben bij de Gasterij op het park gebruik gemaakt van de bowlingbaan we hebben wat gedronken en gegeten zoals een bitter garnituur en daar waren we wel over te spreken de service is goed en het personeel is vriendelijk.

Een gezellig restaurant op Recreatielandgoed De IJsvogel in Voorthuizen. Vrij informeel. Honden zijn ook toegestaan. Lekker gegeten.

Dit is de 8e keer dat we hier hapas eten. Het was ook echt de minste keer. Het eten was op zich prima, maar dat een 1e ronde bestelling pas bij de 5e ronde geleverd wordt kan niet. Dit is meerdere malen gebeurd. De meeste serveersters waren erg vriendelijk, maar één serveerster was heel chagrijnig en onvriendelijk. De slagroom automaat was bijna de gehele tijd niet werkend en de toetjes en schaaltjes werden niet goed bijgevuld. We hebben met 16 personen gegeten en heel wat drankjes besteld. Omdat het zo warm was hebben we ook 9 flessen water besteld. We moesten voor de flessen water 67,50 betalen, dit is omgerekend 7,50!!! voor een 750 ml fles water. Echt niet normaal voor een fles water. Ik denk toch dat dit de laatste keer is dat ik helemaal uit Hoek van Holland kom om de hapas te bezoeken.

Eten was perfect , sfeer bij t personeel mwahhh...geld niet voor alle meiden . Maar iets vrolijker en geïnteresseerd in je werk maakt een hoop goed . Het eten werd echt geserveerd, zo van hier heb je t. Dat je op zondag werkt kan de klant niks aan doen. Dus werk daar aan en dan is t een toptent die een ster waardig is .
