Cozy interior, friendly, efficient, and fast service, delicious pancakes with a nice crispy edge, and generous desserts. Great location. Definitely worth coming back. Parking at the back.

It's a cute place, warm interior with the decor from it's origins. We enjoyed the food which was served quickly and the waiter ing staff are friendly.

We stumbled upon this place by chance, but were pleasantly surprised. A large enclosed playground for the kids. Extensive menu; we didn't try the pancakes. But they had delicious carpaccio, a large homemade meatball, a very tasty schnitzel (recommended), and the spare ribs were good. They have an extensive beer menu for Dad ;) and just a great atmosphere.

I've never had such a perfect pancake. Perfectly cooked, with a crispy edge. Plenty of toppings. Tip: order the set menu. The mustard soup was delicious. This restaurant is a real pleasant surprise.

Hmm, the pancake was nice and crispy. Convenient outside ordering hatch for quick ordering. It was a bit annoying that the toilet soap was out, but it was quickly replenished after reporting it.

We celebrated our wedding here two weeks ago. Everything was perfectly arranged. The day before, we were allowed to do some extra decorating ourselves, but it wasn't really necessary because of how atmospheric the place was. The friendly staff went above and beyond. The food was delicious, and we were completely taken care of. The restaurant was quite crowded, but we weren't bothered by it at all; we had a lovely spot where the kids could also use the playground. I would recommend it to everyone. A great restaurant with plenty of challenges for children. They can play safely, and parents don't have to chase after them.

They serve excellent pancakes here. We were a large group of 15 people. We had made a reservation, so a nice, large table was set up for us. First round...we ordered a pitcher of lemonade because it was quite warm. It came with a bread board. Excellent spreads. The main course followed: beautifully cooked pancakes. Dessert for everyone: a cozy "gnome" cup with soft serve ice cream. All in all, a great meal. Everyone got their pancakes at about the same time, which is nice when you're with such a large group. It was a great experience and I'll definitely be back. There was plenty of parking behind the building.

We come here regularly, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Today we had the hot chicken and fries for lunch, which was delicious and filled our plate. My wife had the farmer's omelet, which was also delicious, and then the famous eggnog coupe. We had another wonderful meal. Highly recommended for everyone.

A menu with everything you could possibly crave: salads, pancakes, burgers, fries... The Mexican grilled cheese sandwich (with ground meat) is delicious. The prices are reasonable, and the service is very friendly and fast. The only downside: it's next to a busy road. You can't have everything.

We ate some very delicious pancakes. The service was very friendly. The food came quite quickly. We didn't have a reservation and unfortunately had to sit facing the street, which was okay, but it would have been nicer towards the back.

It's very busy, and the pancakes are thick but truly delicious. Reservations are recommended if you want to sit inside. When we were there, it was completely full. We enjoyed a delicious dinner here with our family.

We hebben hier een besloten feestje gehad, het verrasde ons hoe gezellig het was, alles was goed voor elkaar. En wat een fijne behulpzame bediening.! De warme appeltaart met slagroom was heerlijk, en wat een keuze voor de theeliefhebber, geweldig, verse munt, gember, sinasappel en citroen, en nog vele andere theesoorten. De hapjes waren heerlijk en de patat achteraf ook. Ook geweldig leuk voor de kinderen die zich goed vermaakte. Bij een ongelukje van 1 van de kinderen echt uitstekend, liefdevol en professioneel geholpen. Wat een toppers! Ik kan nog veel meer benoemen, maar je moet het maar ervaren.

Delicious food, friendly staff and a nice location.

Just to be clear, we picked up our food Saturday evening at 7:00 PM sharp! We had two dishes: one half chicken and two skewers. Both were in a special box under the chicken: carrots, peas, and fried potatoes. The skewers came with a raw vegetable salad and a bit of potato salad, which was also included with the half chicken! Fries on the side. We ordered the salad on the side. We had to wait; apparently, the kitchen had forgotten our meal. But honestly, the owner, the gentleman at the bar, resolved this. We got an extra soft serve ice cream for the wait. As far as we were concerned, the ladies were working their tails off. All we saw were friendly women who did their very best to provide everyone with everything. So, compliments to the service team, even though we were eating at home. While waiting, we noticed how busy it was, and everyone was helped quickly. Even when I placed my order by phone, the waitress was very friendly. Thanks for that. In short, it was busy, but the food was excellent and delicious. One point of concern: the salad... for 4 euros, it wasn't that special. The raw vegetables with the meal were excellent!! Greetings from Moerkapelle...from The Hap campsite... Oh yeah, p.s. We paid 40.90 for 2 meals. Another meal, new photos: half chicken and meat sticks with dessert. Picked up on time, delicious, so perfect!

In terms of atmosphere and surroundings, this is a truly great place! It's a charming and cozy restaurant with a lovely enclosed playground for (small) children. The decor is nice, and you can sit comfortably and watch the little ones. The service is very friendly and fast. The nachos and snacks were also delicious! Well-stocked and good quality. Unfortunately, the dinner wasn't as good. We had spare ribs, chicken satay, and the pancake hills. The pancake was very dry and hard in some places? The children's pancake was the same, so it didn't seem like a one-off mistake. The spare ribs weren't tender, but the sauce and side dishes were fine. The satay was also dry. The homemade applesauce, however, was very tasty. Conclusion: a very suitable place for drinks; for a pancake house/restaurant, there are much better options.

A rather dark eatery, friendly service, delicious food

What a fantastic place! For those with a car, just drive onto the lot and around to the back, where there's parking. You don't have to park on the side of the road. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They regularly check in to see if everything is to your liking and if you'd like something to drink. So you really don't have to wait long for anything. The bread platter is simple but very nicely presented. And it tastes delicious! The food. For the little one, a princess pancake. She definitely likes pancakes, but this was too much for her. My wife is also a pancake lover, plain (so with bacon), but she couldn't finish it all either. I had the goat cheese pancake. My goodness. The pancake itself with bacon, large chunks of goat cheese, topped with walnuts, delicious sun-dried tomatoes, and arugula. Then there's a small jug of syrup to pour over it, and you have a true sensation. It's incredibly filling, yet you can't stop eating. We'll definitely be back in the future!

Food itself fine, only a pity about the chaotic and slow service. After waiting more than half an hour for our dessert, we asked if they had perhaps forgotten us. "Yes, sorry, the receipt did not come through", we got as an answer. Paid and without dessert, a bit grumpy, because we waited half an hour for nothing, we went home.

What a great place to enjoy! We called last minute on Father's Day and they still managed to arrange a table for us — great service! The staff was friendly and helpful, which immediately provided a warm welcome. The playground is really great for the kids, so we could also sit and relax. The apple pie was great — highly recommended. A cozy, child-friendly place with a heart for the guests. We will definitely be back! 🍰🌳

Had a great meal at Eethuisje de Heuveltjes. We went for the Carpaccio (which only costs 10 euros by the way!) It is delicious and a good portion for 1 person. See photos. We chose the pancakes in 2 different flavors and they were delicious and also for a fair price on the menu. It is a solid and well-topped pancake. Tip and therefore 4 stars: order drinks earlier and clean the tables. This is a first impression but regardless of luxury or a restaurant, clean is the best. There were some crumbs on our table from the predecessors. All in all a very good mark!! Thank you and until next time.

Been here before and never got to sit in the log cabin, or Austrian corner, which my 7 year old daughter really wanted. Well, I neatly reserved that spot, called afterwards and everything was fine, and then other people were sitting there. Fobbed off with another spot, I had reserved that spot for my daughter! Worst service, never come here again, apparently they don't want to make money from me.

Strange place with somewhat strange staff! Arrived at our reserved time. Slight panic, our table was not yet free. We had to wait uncomfortably at the entrance. After a while someone came to ask if she could help us... we were still the same people, but the table was now free. When we arrived at the table there were still 3 tables around it free... little flexibility I think with shifting in the planning! The pancakes are fine and served quickly. The desserts are also tasty and large portions!

De pannekoeken. Verschrikkelijk. Zo slecht en dik en stug, ook gedeeltelijk zwart. Thuis maak ik ze 10 x beter. Nooit meer meer pannekoeken in Eethuisje "De Heuveltjes." Die kok moeten ze meteen ontslaan.

A nice cozy place. Especially for children. The pancake (ginger apple) was fine. A little less fat is nice. You'll be full before it's gone. The dessert was not ok. Way too greasy whipped cream and way too greasy ice cream. And a little bit of eggnog at the bottom. I didn't eat it any further. And considering the toilet run of other family members, thank goodness. Next time I'll have coffee for dessert. The prices are not exorbitantly high as they are nowadays and the very young staff are friendly and hard working. So worth repeating 😊

We thought the pancakes were very greasy… they looked like they were fried?! If you press the pancake with your fork you will see the fat come out. Luckily I had a schnitzel which was quite nice, but after I had a few bites of my wife's pancake I had a stomach ache all evening. The service was mediocre, reasonably friendly, but far too little attention to the tables, which meant that it took too long before you could order something and that empty glasses were collected. Dining with small kids from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM is too long. Fortunately, they had a great time in the nice playground adjacent to the restaurant. That's a plus. We won't be coming back here.

Erg gezellig restaurantje ook voor ons zoontje. We hebben spare ribs en een pannekoek besteld. Omdat ons zoontje zeer weinig eet heeft hij met mij meegegeten en hebben we een verrassing erbij besteld. Top! Want we kregen ook een extra bordje. Maar daarna kwam de enorme misser!!! De pannekoek leek wel van Beton, je kreeg het niet eens doorgesneden en het smaakte naar karton. Erg jammer , nooit meer pannekoek daar eten.

Discussed with the staff. For dessert a 'small' ice cream. Was a big coupe with whipped cream 😋 At the 'neighbours' we saw other tasty things being served. For next time!

Delicious pancakes, lovely people

We often stop here for an ice cream (see photo for size, costs 3 euros, including dip!). Now we thought we would eat something too. I took a 12 hour slice myself, which took some getting used to with the bread (the thickness of 2 'normal' slices), which was quite difficult to cut, but the taste made up for everything. The tomato soup was delicious, generously filled with 5 soup balls (no factory junk), the egg salad and the side salad were also delicious. The croquette was wonderfully crispy on the outside and also warm on the inside. My child had a children's menu, fries, croquette, mayonnaise and apple sauce and of course the most important thing; a surprise. A gnome forest has been created next to the eatery, which stimulates the imagination of all young children, there is a small pond, the large clogs have unfortunately been removed due to rot, but I have proposed placing new ones (so nice, for the photos) and there is a fenced playground behind the eatery (passage through the restaurant), this playground is accessible to customers, so consumption is mandatory! It is often busier at weekends or during lovely summer weather, also due to tourists/day trippers (please take the 80 km/h road into account, indicate the direction in time!!!!! and when driving away: take into account the speed of road users, because that is where things often go wrong in terms of judgment errors.....). Photos of menu and associated prices added to review. Last but not least; the staff is (sometimes a bit chaotic, but that is often the case with catering staff on busy days) incredibly friendly and cooperative. My child wanted a slice of lemon to eat straight away (really), and she got 2; free of charge on a tray. The owner is also a pleasant man, as a guest you notice that the atmosphere is good and that says a lot! Toilets (indoor) also clean, water, soap and paper towels to dry (better than one of those bladder things). Until next time!

After driving past here for years, I finally stopped for lunch. It is located on a busy road, so you have to take that into account on the front terrace (I personally don't find that a problem). You can order via a QR code on the table, and the order was then delivered very quickly. Service is very friendly, and the food (bouncer) was more than fine. All in all, highly recommended. Families with young children will also enjoy it here, because there is a very nice playground behind the restaurant.

Delicious food in a nice location

Een gezellig oud-Hollands eettentje met heel vriendelijk personeel. Ik koos het 3 gangen pannekoeken menu. De mosterdsoep was lekker op smaak. De ham kaas pannenkoek was helaas echt TE dik. Daardoor niet helemaal gaar en klef. Met als gevolg dat de ham en kaas erg weinig tot zijn recht kwam. Tot slot de keuze uit ijs of koffie. De koffie is prima. Misschien even extra aandacht voor de pannenkoeken. Alles echt redelijk geprijsd.

Had lunch with a group last Wednesday. The dishes were excellent, good value for money. The service was super friendly. We will definitely come back.

Due to the beautiful weather, you can sit on the terrace. Ate pancakes, so full and not, as often happens, a lot of flour, little filling. We had trouble finishing it ourselves. Then got an 'ice cream'. Phewhhhhhhhhh where should I put that hahahaha. Also delicious. That, in combination with very friendly staff, was an excellent way to end my birthday week. I will definitely introduce this eatery to my friends. one small downside, the parking lot is on the very busy main road, so very dangerous, especially for the many children walking around. But this may be a point of attention for the municipality.

It is a cozy eatery. The pancakes were nice but not the tastiest ever, one was very greasy and the other was dry. They were quite thick. All the ingredients were also placed in the middle, which made the edges a bit dull and dry. The staff was very nice and helpful. The atmosphere is cozy and the toilets are clean. The price is also fine.

Had a delicious meal here several times with my wife. Even if you come for a cup of coffee with something tasty or a delicious lunch, the food here is great! Price/quality/quantity is top. In addition, it is a very cozy restaurant and the service couldn't be better. These people are super sweet, kind and respectful. Highly recommended to go here.

Ate here twice. The first time was fine. The 2nd time a little less. Lots of noisy people, read children. In principle the restaurant cannot do much about it, but it does degrade your experience. My pork tenderloin satay was good. My wife's pancake was way too salty. Got a new one. Slightly less salty but still not really tasty. According to an employee, there had already been more complaints about it that day.

Cozy place, unfortunately we were there on a rainy day, so our son couldn't play outside, but he had a great time with some crayons and a coloring page. The lunch dish was large in size and tasted excellent! Definitely recommended.
