Went there on a whim, received nicely and got a table even without a reservation, very cozy Greek atmosphere, good service, owner keeps coming over to chat, very friendly. Everything at a relaxed pace, the food is pure enjoyment, incredibly tasty!!! and just the right amount, highly recommended.

I rarely review restaurants but this deserves one 100%. As a Greek, I haven't had gyros like this, not even back in Athens in decades. Handmade, seasoned to perfection and we keep returning for it. Also notable: soutsoukaki that melts in the mouth, patzaria and kolokythakia! People are super nice, place is warm and makes for a cosy date night or Taverna experience with friends. Delivery to home also went super smooth. Arrived at pre-arranged time via their website. Everything warm and tasty. We've already become regulars! Highly recommended. Μπράβο μάγκες 👏🏻💙

Everything you want when dining out at a Greek restaurant! We decided to go out for dinner spontaneously. Our usual Greek restaurant was closed that day, so we decided to take a chance. We don't regret it at all. The atmosphere is cozy. It isn't very big, but it is well-maintained and very pleasantly decorated. It was a weekday and very quiet. The owners are very hospitable and friendly. The food was really delicious. We enjoyed it. All the flavors came through well. The plates were presented with care. The food was so good that I forgot to take more photos. Highly recommended!

Reserved for 6:30 PM, received a drink reasonably quickly, but the waitress didn't have time to take our order because other customers had arrived earlier. At 7:30 PM we still hadn't been able to order, but after complaining about this, we finally got our food around 8:00 PM, even though we had to leave at 8:15 PM. Severely understaffed in terms of service. Nice weather so we sat outside, unfortunately surrounded by takeaways, delivery drivers, and customers who came out for a quick smoke. The moussaka was a plum pudding, greasy and tasteless; the pita gyros menu was fine though. Unfortunately, no ouzo. We are never coming here again!

Great place to eat, simple but just like you're used to in Greece. The food is very good, the service is good and fast, and certainly not expensive. I will definitely come here more often! Do make a reservation in advance, because they are very busy.

The food was genuinely very good — tasty and well-prepared. The portions were not particularly large, but in the end they were sufficient. Unfortunately, the service was at a really low level and significantly affected our overall experience. First, I asked in advance whether it would be possible for me and my friends to split the bill. The waitress said it could be a big problem and not easy, although eventually it would be possible at the counter after dinner. Even though we had a reservation for 19:00, we had to wait over 20 minutes before anyone took our order, and another 10 minutes just to receive a beer. We ordered fries as a side dish. The waitress initially brought two small portions and placed them next to two guests. Later, when we asked about the third portion, we were told that the two servings were meant to be shared — which was not communicated beforehand - for sure was not enough for 3 persons... When one of my friends asked for ketchup, we received it only after 10 minutes, even though during that time the staff had no problem serving drinks to newly arrived customers. On top of that, the ketchup cost 1 euro. To summarise: the food is good, but the portions could be larger considering the price (24.5 euros for a mixed grill), and the service is slow and not customer-oriented. There are several other Greek restaurants in the neighbourhood, so we would not choose to visit this place again. Other thing was that the owner let the smokers sit almost at the door, main door to the restaurant and all smoke was inside... amazing. To the owner: focusing on improving the service would make a big difference.

The food is delicious as always. The service is pleasant. Due to the mandatory closing time, the restaurant has to close at 8:00 PM. It's heartbreaking to see how the staff grows more nervous about the people still inside as 8:00 PM approaches. They'll even leave before 8:00 PM. Apparently, eight people at two tables are more contagious at 8:01 PM than when they arrive at 5:30 PM. I completely understand the restaurant's position. The government's pressure is immense. If they get a fine, they'll have been working for Jan L.L. all day.

We spontaneously decided to try this restaurant for the first time today. The atmosphere was quite nice, the service was good, and the food was okay. However, the taste didn't really impress me. We had to wait a very long time for our drinks and food. Our drinks were also the wrong ones, and the rice was missing from our meal, and the fries arrived much later than the meat. The prices were definitely on the higher end.

First time visiting, it was a beautiful experience with friendly hospitality, delicious food and huge portions.

The food was GREAT! The woman serving us was real polite and friendly. We ordered the Veggie plates and it was really good. Was filling but didn't make you feel bloated, quantity was perfect. Would definitely recommend eating here. Great atmosphere

We've been ordering almost the same dishes for years. Delivery almost always takes longer than an hour, an hour and a half, even though you can select a delivery time 45 minutes later online. We've also experienced several times that someone calls after an hour to say something is out of stock. This is a shame, but the food is delicious, so we'll give it another try next time. Last Sunday, after a long day of DIY, I ordered again. After waiting for over an hour and a half, I called and was told it was extremely busy and a delivery driver was sick. "It could take a while," they said, and we received an apology. Annoying, of course, but then you're faced with a dilemma. You've been waiting an hour and a half, and if you cancel and order somewhere else, it might take another hour before you get anything... so you wait, assuming it won't take another hour... More than an hour later, I called again, because this can't be right, can it? By then, we'd already opened a bag of chips, and I was actually calling to cancel our order. But we were told the food was "already" on its way. No apologies this time, just a thank you for understanding. It wasn't until another half hour later that the doorbell rang and we received our food. We waited exactly three hours (!!) for the food. The food was lukewarm, the fries were soggy, and the order was wrong... We called again, naturally angry this time. "Yes, I'm very sorry, yes, but it's incredibly busy, and yes, the delivery driver is sick, and yes, we made a mistake. Unfortunately, we don't have what you ordered anymore. But with your next order, we can offer you a portion of chicken gyros and a portion of baklava." With my NEXT order...?? I asked for a refund. What we received was lukewarm, wrong (something one of us can't/shouldn't eat), and after three hours, we weren't even hungry anymore because we'd already eaten a bag of chips. Money down the drain. But the gentleman was even more irritated that I was angry about a "mistake" and they weren't legally obligated to refund me. No, sir, I'm not angry about the "mistake" with the order. I'm angry because we waited three hours for lukewarm food that we didn't order. Angry about the poor communication, the poor service, and your irritated reaction!! First of all: why do I have to call myself after an hour and a half to find out it's incredibly busy, the delivery driver is sick, and it might take a while?! A little service is calling your customers yourself, explaining the situation, and giving them the option to wait or cancel. Secondly: as an apology for the three-hour (!!) wait, it would have been very kind if something extra had been included; two cans of drink, baklava, or something similar. SOMETHING, that would be service! Thirdly: if it's incredibly busy, a delivery driver calls in sick, and you can't handle the orders, you block your website!! And adjust your next delivery time. You're not going to keep taking orders and collecting money and then ruining people's evenings. After YEARS of ordering, I really expected more. Such a shame. Never again for us!

The feta was extremely salty. The food took a very long time to arrive. The shrimp was burnt. Honestly, it wasn't a good experience. I wouldn't go back.

Today, we were spontaneously drawn in by the delicious smell of the food. The restaurant was very busy. We were lucky to get a seat. We were treated warmly and received fresh and delicious food. It's great to see that it's a real family business. We'll be back. ;)

Wij hebben hier heerlijk gegeten. Het eten kwam vrij snel. We hadden een tafel buiten op het terras in het zonnetje, vol met verschillende voorgerechten. Alles was zo smaakvol. Vriendelijke bediening ook. Ik (Naomi) heb hier al 3x eerder gegeten, waaronder een keer met een grote groep collega’s van 18 personen, daardoor wist ik dat het eten hier lekker is. Went there on recommendation. Delicious food. Starters: the flambéed tenderloin and the mussels with shrimps in tomato sauce. Both delicious and very generous portions. I ate 3/4, my son the rest. Then as a main course the gyros chicken special. Also delicious and generous portions 😃. I brought a doggy bag, I couldn't finish it and my son was also full. (Doesn't happen often). Decor old-fashioned in Greek style. Two small drawbacks, but that won't stop us from coming back. Cramped seats, it all just fits (where we were sitting) and we thought we got the main course too quickly. Otherwise excellent, friendly service. We will definitely come back again.

Not my type, I've eaten much better, it wasn't full and you had to wait a long time and ask for fries and salad, the meat and fries were terribly burnt to a crisp, the salad wasn't very tasty and small for 25e, it's average plus, nice service

After a long time, I placed an order again, a little later than predicted, but that's fine for a Saturday evening. Extremely good quality, well-filled pitas for a reasonable price! Definitely worth repeating again!

Crappy restaurant. We made a reservation for 2 people at 5pm. Just before 5 p.m. we got a call saying it was full. Owner must first look carefully at the agenda before making a reservation!!! Tried once but never again. These people cannot be trusted.

Food is fine, but home delivery service not good. Our food was delivered 1.5 hours later than the agreed delivery time. I would find a half hour margin acceptable, but not 1.5 hours.

We were seated and quickly could order our drinks. However, it took around 25 minutes before we could order our food, meanwhile other people were served and tables were cleared. We experienced the same as the review below. We wanted to order several starters from the menu which somehow wasn't allowed. The lady told us quite sternly that the offer (which we didn't even know about) only counts on weekdays. We were also going to order a main and that seemed to relax her. She mentioned 1 starter each would be sufficient. When we were asked (again) if we'd like any drinks, I asked for some tapwater. The lady replied: "We don't serve tapwater because it'll make you sick." This is a joke, living in the Netherlands.. We ordered the fried cheese with honey and (4 small) meat balls, portions were very small but tasted alright. We had to wait another 30 minutes for the main course. I almost decided to leave. We had a mixed grill with chips and Greek sausage with rice (the way the rice was served, it didn't look fresh) Service was kind but just too slow, maybe there were too many tables for just 1 lady serving.

Very bizarre. We wanted to order several starters from the menu. Unfortunately that was not allowed. The lady told us very sternly that we could have one starter and that we were required to have a main course. Despite our explanation that we did not want the special during the week offer, but just a la carte, she said “but why are you being so difficult, just order a main course”. After having previously ordered a few starters, which were very tasty, by the way, we drank the downright tasteless wine and left. This is very unfortunate.

I ordered the Pita Gyros and Biftekia and had it delivered. Both dishes were incredibly tasty and delivery was super fast! I will definitely order the Biftekia again. The large bowl of Tzatziki was also delicious, but it was a shame that it didn't come with bread. Next time I will order some extra pita bread.

Ordered a large portion of chicken gyros, delicious. Good in taste. Rice is also delicious, mixed with vegetables. Well-filled container of shrimps, but the tomato sauce was a bit on the salty and thin side and the fries were unfortunately very hard... Tasty crispy salad and creamy tzatziki. Sweet lady on the phone. Ordering via the website gives you a small discount.

We came to this restaurant spontaneously because the outside smelled nice of grilled meat. The restaurant was feeling crowded with visitors. We ordered drinks and we still wanted to order food, but the waiter said she will come later to take our order. And she came after 45 minutes and our food order was also brought within 45 minutes. After an hour and a half we started eating ai. We were already very hungry and expected delicious food. But we were disappointed because the meat was completely without salt or spices and the table also had no salt, pepper or oil. the salad was only with vinegar, which was strange. and the fries were dark brown and dry and also without salt. The menu said which dish we ordered with tzatziki and they brought to us a tablespoon of greek yogurt. We were disappointed and will never go there again.

I had reserved a table for 2 people at half past eight. When we arrived at the restaurant we had to wait about 10 minutes before we were shown to our table. There was no menu available at the table and we had to take it from another table. Meanwhile, around 8 o'clock a young lady came to our table to take orders, this turned out to be only the drinks, we had to wait again for food, eventually we ordered, but we had now finished our drinks and it was said that t food took longer and that it was coming.... but offering a free drink if you have to wait a long time seems normal to me. We had our food at 8.40 pm (it was tasty, but it said everything). We were told that the fries were coming.... we waited 20 minutes and still had no fries, so we got up at 9 am... nice woman at the counter, but incredibly bad service... Overall a bad experience and I won't be coming back here. Also, my Facebook review suddenly disappeared and I can no longer post new ones there

We sat a while eating for our take out. The family running this restaurant were so nice, friendly, and accommodating. They even gave us two free shots of Ouzo. Yamas! The tzatziki is thicker like a Greek yogurt than a loose sour cream. The lamb was delicious. Highly recommend.
