Exceeded expectations, the food was delicious!!! We received a warm welcome and immediately felt welcome. Thank you for that! The starter was delicious, and the main course was even better. One more complaint: The non-alcoholic drinks and tea were quite pricey. Still, being Dutch, haha. We'll definitely be back. See you soon!

In a word, amazing! We stumbled across this place and tried both vegan soups. Kudos to the chef! They were absolutely delicious. The nachos and bread platter were also fantastic. And the service was great too. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Cozy place to enjoy a delicious meal!

We had a delicious meal here on Friday evening. The food was beautifully presented and the flavors were excellent. The service was friendly and attentive. Good value for money, even with a free appetizer.

Empty at 9 p.m. on Saturday evening. Guests were shown the door at 9:30. Three years ago, it was a perfect restaurant, now very pricey and faded.

A very pleasant restaurant that is understanding of small eaters who want to share a portion. It's no wonder we come here often. The route through the restaurant does require some skill with a walker.

The food was fantastic! The staff were very friendly and attentive. The price/performance ratio was excellent. And our dog was allowed to accompany us.

The bavette was tough to eat, and that wasn't due to the dull cutlery. The tough meat (definitely not bavette!) might have been suitable for the mincer, and if the chef had formed it into a ball, it would have been a decent dish with the fries and salad. Jan and Liesbeth

No Drenthe flag, no Dutch flag, but a rainbow flag above the door. Such a shame.

What incredibly poor service. Especially with a certain staff. Four waiters walking around, but the guests have to ask for drinks themselves. Multiple guests complaining. Truly unbelievable. Such a shame.

Had a 3-course meal here. The mustard soup was truly fantastic. I've rarely had such a delicious soup!! The rolls that came with it were also excellent. The main course was excellent. I had chicken satay. Definitely worth repeating.

Had a good lunch, two croquettes with two slices of sturdy white bread, the service was fast and friendly, even though she was on her own. Of course you can also eat several things here for lunch, a great place for a stopover or longer.

There was a waitress walking around who probably didn't feel like doing her job, the drink was put down hard on the table with the message: "Here's your own business"

Ongeïnteresseerde of onoplettende bediening. Eerst werden we een kwartier genegeerd, daarna liet de koffie en thee, die al klaar stond op de bar, nog minutenlang op zich wachten. Zonder enig excuus.

Cannot judge the food, because...we came in at lunchtime and asked if there was a table available. Lady nodded ans said pretty unfriendly: no. She did not bother to check any table if people would be leaving soon. Week later I wanted to make a reservation. Not possible under 6 persons. I hope there comes a day that they will be desperate for customers...

Delicious food. Received a free appetizer. Everything they served us was beyond our expectations. Even the fries and salad were perfect. All 4 of us were very happy and satisfied. I had the tortelini with mushrooms. This was great, pasta al dente and a generous amount of different Mushrooms. After every bite something new emerged.

Nice at the market in Coevorden. Enough parking space nearby. You can sit there comfortably. The food is good! The nachos are definitely recommended!

If you order a special beer during the goose market, you will receive your beer in a plastic cup while you sit inside. This was okay outside, but inside I don't understand. We won't be coming back here again.

I only had a drink here so I have no opinion or experience about the food.

Met het gezin een hapje eten. Mooi aangekleed restaurant, echter is de prijs-kwaliteit verhouding zoek. Prijzen zijn te hoog voor wat je krijgt. Eten is prima, maar dat is het ook. Service is niet wat je verwacht: geen navraag of het smaakt en het navragen voor drank. Ook voor vijf personen kregen we slechts twee schaaltjes friet, we moesten naar de bar lopen om bij te bestellen omdat we geen contact kregen. Ook toen we geen dessert wilden, maar wel koffie, werd dat niet gevraagd en moesten we zwaaien naar de bediening… Bediening was drukker met verzorgen van de poes buiten. Werk aan de winkel!

Had a great lunch. Very young but friendly staff. Twice a bowl of water was offered to our dog. Prices are also reasonable.

Met mijn dochter warme chocolademelk met slagroom besteld + 1 appelgebak en een ander soort gebakje. Ik moest 19,50 euro afrekenen. Een behoorlijk bedrag voor iets wat niet zo heel lekker was. De chocolademelk viel tegen qua smaak en het gebak leek op jumbo of supermarktgebak. Niet echt hoogstandjes. Leuke locatie maar erg duur geworden. Prijs kwaliteit is niet echt in verhouding.

Had a delicious lunch here with a wide and varied menu

Het entreekaartje voor het Stedelijk Museum in Coevorden is tevens een kortingsbon voor een warme drank met taart (naar keuze) bij De Heeren van Coevorden. Hoewel het druk was werd er voor een tafeltje vrijgemaakt en hebben we met smaak genoten. Leuke, vlotte bediening! Dus ga zeker het museum bezoeken en sluit af bij De Heeren.

Terrace on the edge of the castle park. The service was friendly and smooth. The price-quality of the food is good. We had a delicious meal. The sea bass was very tasty.

The chicken sandwich is not recommended. There is a very overpowering sauce in the chicken that was not indicated on the menu. It said chipotle mayo but the chicken was in a Cajun sweet sauce which overpowers the entire dish and has no taste at all. Unfortunately my son didn't eat it because of the taste. I also found a piece of bone in it, which made me no longer want to eat it or dare to give it to my son. After indicating this, I was not allowed to choose another dish from the menu instead of the chicken sandwich. When I indicated the second time, I still had to pay this. When I indicated the 3rd time that I had expected something different based on the menu, the dish was eventually removed from the receipt. Unfortunately I didn't have time to order anything else at that time. The avocado burger is recommended and there is also a separate children's menu which is also a coloring page, a nice idea for the kids! We had not noticed at first that there is a separate menu for kids, which we only noticed the second time we looked at the menu. We were also not offered the children's menu when we came with 2 kids. The coffee is fine and the fresh tea is also delicious with star anise

Tijdens onze Pieterpad-wandelingen hebben we eerder met veel plezier bij De Heeren van Coevorden geluncht. Onze laatste lunch, met een heerlijke Tosti XL en een royale uitsmijter, stelde niet teleur. Het eten was lekker en de bediening vriendelijk. Daarom besloten we onlangs rond 16:30 weer iets te eten. Helaas bleek de keuken op dat moment gesloten, en konden we alleen borrelhapjes bestellen. Dit was een flinke tegenvaller, aangezien we hadden gehoopt op een volledige maaltijd. Uiteindelijk zijn we ergens anders gaan eten. Hoewel deze ervaring teleurstellend was, blijven we De Heeren van Coevorden waarderen voor hun smakelijke lunches en vriendelijke service. We komen graag terug, maar zullen voortaan beter letten op de keukenopeningstijden.

During our Pieterpad walks we previously enjoyed lunch at De Heeren van Coevorden. Our last lunch, with a delicious Tosti XL and a generous spread, did not disappoint. The food was tasty and the service friendly. That's why we recently decided to eat something again around 4:30 PM. Unfortunately, the kitchen turned out to be closed at that time, and we could only order snacks. This was a major disappointment, as we had hoped for a full meal. We ended up eating somewhere else. Although this experience was disappointing, we continue to appreciate De Heeren van Coevorden for their tasty lunches and friendly service. We would love to come back, but from now on we will pay more attention to the kitchen opening hours.

Great service, friendly and alert. Pulled chicken sandwich & Holstein smash burger received plenty of praise from my table companions. The burger with crispy fries was particularly popular. My poke ball was special. The beans were missing, but I did get bread and butter! Without explanation that this differed from the description on the menu. Quite special (because it is not a common combination) and less welcome because I ordered this dish because of a gluten intolerance. The flavors were a bit flat, but the fried avocado in a crispy crust made up for a lot.

Nice place with good food. That wasn't the issue. We were there on April 13 with 6 people. After waiting 2 hours, we only had a starter. It took a terribly long time. The service blamed it on the kitchen. We think that the ministry also has some learning points. We had to go to the waiter to ask if we could order dessert. Asked to have desserts and coffee at the same time. (We already saw the downpour that it would otherwise take even longer) That also went wrong. When we had already finished dessert, coffee was served. We wouldn't go there again anytime soon.

Leuke tent met prima eten. Daar lag het niet aan. We waren er 13 april met 6 personen. Na 2 uur wachten, hadden we alleen nog maar een voorgerecht gehad. Het duurde gruwelijk lang. De bediening schoof het af op de keuken. Wij denken dat de bediening ook nog wel wat leerpunten heeft. Zou er niet gauw nog een keer naar toe gaan.

It is a very ambient place open and sunny in a beautiful place in the center of the town of Coevorden.

We got a lot of food for the money, the portions were large and there were free side dishes. The staff was very friendly and the service was good. We all enjoyed the food very much.

Hospitably received. We had indicated that we would come with a disability in a wheelchair and they took this into account. In addition, we thoughtfully prepared the children's pizza in such a way that our disabled daughter could eat it straight away. We could immediately start eating the delicious spareribs. We also have children's toys on hand for our 8-year-old son and a nice gift when we leave. In short, delicious food, good service, good atmosphere.
