De Heeren van Montfoort in Wijk 00

We ate here tonight for our one-year wedding anniversary. We got married here a year ago, and the service was excellent even then. The staff made it a fantastic evening for us again tonight. What excellent service, and what incredibly attentive, kind people work here. Highly recommended!

Very neat location with good and fast staff

Staff here are being threatened and frightened by a very aggressive Dave (internship supervisor). He makes his students cry, causing them to run away. No one dares to say anything because they're afraid of him. It's simply unacceptable that this person (I'm speechless) still works here. I find it incredibly sad to say that he can hurt people so much and ruin their lives.

Wir haben auf unserer Reise gute Restaurants besucht. Aber ihres steht definitiv an erster Stelle! Empfang, Bedienung und Qualität auf feinstem Niveau! Es hat uns sehr gut in ihrem Restaurant gefallen und wir haben vorzüglich gegessen. Vielen lieben Dank!

I have been here twice now and I think it is an extremely pleasant restaurant. Truly a place to relax and enjoy a night out. The menu is accessible and with various choices of fish, meat or vegetarian dishes, there is something for almost everyone.

Food is good and sufficient, service good and friendly. Only cutlery and plates could be cleaned better. And the atmosphere of the restaurant is a bit cold, but that is personal.

We had dinner with a large group on the first floor, so it is different from normal dining out, hence the 4 stars in terms of atmosphere. The food is delicious and good service.

The chef's 3-course surprise menu is tasty and the presentation is beautiful. I came here for the first time and had gotten the idea from the website that the restaurant was located in the castle, but there was a text that said the restaurant was in a different street, separate. Heeren van Montfort has a rather chic appearance, but there is no noticeable difference: no one serves the wardrobe, everyone can join; party in the room directly next to it was very audible; reserved a table for 2 days before, we could choose from a table for 2 separately directly at the door next to the party, but this was not recommended by the restaurant manager because directly next to the door of the party where staff often had to pass through, or a place at a slightly longer table where the other end was also prepared for possibly 2 other guests. This table was used by the waiters as a kind of work table, so suddenly a beer mat flew onto the table next to me, a bottle of wine was waiting for another table and so on - never experienced this before; tables are sometimes too close together (our neighbors - separated by only a plant) had oysters and I could smell them a little too easily; staff is very friendly, but not everyone has learned basic labels (2 of the 3 courses were neatly placed for one guest and the other guest had his plate placed across the table, the last course was served correctly), very nice that I I was allowed to taste several red wines (too sour for me) and then received a huge glass of red port that I ultimately requested (but extremely full, round and balanced). Upon departure, one guest was nicely helped with the coat, the other was not. I suspect that they had just too much to eat with the party and therefore some of the restaurant staff were somewhat untrained? We probably won't come again.

Delicious food, great service! Quite pricey. Unfortunately I couldn't cross my legs haha, annoying edge under the table that hindered this automatic position. But hey, it was a very tasty meal 😉

Gewoon een top restaurant met prima, no-nonsens, bediening. Zelfs om 20.30 uur konden we nog aanschuiven voor een heerlijk diner.

Had a successful evening. The meat is incredibly tender, and the Chateaubriand is especially recommended. Operation is smooth and we regularly check to see if anything is needed. The only tip is to turn the background down a bit. This makes it extra difficult for people who are hearing impaired to understand others at the table.

Ze restaurant is niet verkeerd. Wel overpriced. De prijs van een 4 gangen menu is 60 euro, wat daarvoor geleverd wordt is te karig, te weinig. De wijnen in het arrangement zijn niet passen. Te flets, en dan weer te uitgesproken, te kruidig. Hier is nog huiswerk te doen.

Ate with four adults. The welcome was warm. The restaurant looked nice. A lot went wrong during the operation. I mention, among other things: the bread ordered in advance never appeared on the table, the ordered water had to be asked twice and the first glass of wine of the wine arrangement came after the first course of the five-course arrangement had been finished. I really expect better from a restaurant where you have to pay a hundred euros plus per person. The portions were on the meager side. O.a. the main course consisted of three small pieces of meat with limited garnish; just very little. This was solved by ordering extra fries. The taste of the dishes was good. I was disappointed with the restaurant given the reviews; unfortunately.

Large restaurant with at least 200 seats. Very cozy courtyard where you can sit and eat under a tree. The table seating we had for 11 people was a bit rickety: two round tables and one rectangular one. The dishes and wine are quite expensive

Were here for a wedding. Very warm and the doors had to be closed due to noise nuisance in the neighborhood. That was a shame. Otherwise we had a nice evening

The food gets a small 3 stars from me, the taste was mediocre. My wife and I both had the bass fillet. There is 2 green asparagus, 2 beans and 2 very small fillets on your plate and you need to fill it with mini fries. It was way below standard. Actually not worth the 3 stars. I have eaten perch fillet before, but never experienced anything as poor as here.

Lekker gegeten in de tuin van het restaurant. Mooie kaart met interessante gerechten erop. De Steak Tartare was een klein kunstwerkje. Bediening was scherp en snel. Ook lekkere wijnen.

Last night we had dinner with 2 people at the Heeren van Montfoort. Upon arrival we received a very friendly welcome and enjoyed the impressive, warm, attractive interior. because of the mild weather we were able to sit outside. There was also a wedding party going on, but those people were completely separated from us so you hardly noticed. opted for a 5 course surprise from the chef menu and that was truly excellent! everything was equally delicious, supplemented with delicious matching wines. definitely worth repeating (hopefully soon!)!!! Top food, beautiful atmosphere and wonderfully friendly service.

Tijdens een Toer Rit met de BMW Klassieke Autoclub Nederland hebben we met ongeveer 80 personen de Lunch genoten bij "De Heeren van Montfoort " te Montfoort. Bij aankomst bij het Restaurant werd ons meegedeeld door de beheerder dat we de Lunch mochten gebruiken in het Kasteel. We voelden ons allen Prinsheerlijk en hebben enorm genoten van een voortreffelijke Lunch. Ook was er ruime parkeerplaats aanwezig voor onze Klassieke BMW auto,s. Een heerlijk plaats om een zeer uitgebreide Lunch te mogen genieten. Echt een aanrader met zeer vriendelijk personeel.

Cozy and delicious food. Friendly staff. Positively surprised by the quality of the food from the starter. Unfortunately, the enthusiasm was somewhat dampened during the meal. The salad with the main course, for example, could use some culinary inspiration. Compliments on the vegetarian and vegan alternatives that were on the table, which looked very good.

We did bites and kicks from Harmelen, and got the main course there. We received an extremely friendly welcome.

Enjoy your meal, but afterwards you can go to the Mac to satisfy your hunger. Much Too expensive for fairly simple food. 500 grams of tenderloin? Well it certainly wasn't. And a small bowl of fries for 4 people is really not enough compared to the mega large plate with 3 mini things next to a bit of meat and that for € 49. No, I won't go there anymore

We where there eating the Easter brunch. It was really nice, amazing staff and a beautiful building. I think we will be back!

The Club Sandwich delicious and a large portion. Definitely worth a recommendation.

Delicious food and drinks. It was quiet and therefore had the full attention of the host. Tasting on the economical side, but good flavour. The fries that were ordered are in need of innovation.

Top business and delicious food

We had a nice lunch in the garden. It was wonderful. The staff are also nice people. All questions are answered promptly and we are regularly asked whether everything is still satisfactory. I love it!

Had the Christmas menu there with friends on Boxing Day, unfortunately a bad experience. There were so many tables placed in the restaurant that you were sitting on top of each other and you could barely make yourself understood. Many company restaurants have done better. The food was mediocre, completely out of proportion to the price and a lot went wrong with the very young, inexperienced service. Me and my table companions have rarely had such a bad time in a restaurant. Reminded me of van der Valk from 30 years ago.

Wat zijn we verwend! Er was te veel lekkers om op te kunnen, dus zijn we niets te kort gekomen. Ondanks dat we met een grote groep waren (ca. 24 man) was de bediening zeer attent en hoefden we niet lang te wachten op ons eten en drinken. Complimenten en dank voor de gastvrijheid!

Mooie sfeer en prachtige buiten tarras. Vriendelijke serveersters en snelle service. Alleen na dat ik me drinken op had heeft niemand meer gevraagd of ik nog iets wou. Maar voor de rest alles goed.

Fantastisch restaurant, sjieke uitstraling, aardig personeel

Lekker gegeten. Niet heel bijzonder en zeker geen culinaire hoogstandjes geproefd. De enthourage en de prijzen deden meer verwachten. Patat met mayonaise (niet eens zelf gemaakt) bij het hoofdgerecht kun je ook bij het bekende restaurant met de M krijgen. Tip: onderscheid je door je sauzen zelf te maken en daarmee boven de massa uit te steken. Dan ben je je prijs wel waard. Wijnarrangement was prima, vrij veel lawaai van een grote groep ging yenkoste vande sfeer. Schijnt hier vaak zo te zijn vernam ik. Voor kraanwater betaal je vijf euro, dat kom je niet vaak meer tegen buiten de toeristencentra waar je vooraf al weet dat je belazerd wordt.

2 e bezoek. Veel onervaren jongelui in het restaurant, maar we moeten zeggen ze doen wel hun best. Geen zichtbare leiding. Het eten vonden wij vergeleken met de vorige keer beduidend minder. Kleine hoeveelheden, temperatuur, we hebben meerdere gasten hierover gehoord. 1 e bezoek 5 sterren. Een fijne avond gehad in dit restaurant. Het was erg rustig. Aan alle gerechten zat smaak. Fijne bediening. Komen zeker terug

Als je bij de Heeren van Montfoort binnenloopt komt er spontaan een glimlach op je gezicht. Het restaurant is zo smaakvol ingericht dat je eerst om je heen kijk om alles in je op te nemen. Toen we hier binnen liepen wisten we het, hier zie we onszelf wel zitten met de mensen die we lief hebben. Toen we met een golfkarretje naar de tuin de Hoogewaard werden gebracht wisten we het zeker, hier gaan wij trouwen. Na een goed gesprek met de eigenaar Geke van het restaurant hebben wij elkaar de hand geschud dit was het begin van een goed samenwerking. Alles wat mijn verloofde en ik in ons hoofd hadden was volgens Geke geen probleem. Onze dag was aangebroken en alles was tot in de puntjes geregeld hierdoor hebben wij geen moment ons ergens zorgen over hoeven maken. Het eten was heerlijk! En we werden erg goed verzorgd door het personeel en dat kunnen alle gasten nu uit eigen ervaring beamen. Iedereen gaf aan dat dit de mooiste bruiloft was waar ze ooit zijn geweest en zij gaan zeker nog een keer een bezoek brengen aan het restaurant.

Vriendelijk personeel, heerlijk eten en mooie wijnen. Alleen de 'achtergrond' muziek was verschrikkelijk. Een dj die het volume keihard had staan, zodat je elkaar amper kon verstaan. Echt jammer.

Lekker eten, maar wel behoorlijk aan de prijs. Rumoerig, vooral omdat de muziek veel te luid stond. Ging op verzoek wel een stukje zachter.

De bbq bij de Heeren van Montfoort was heel goed georganiseerd. Nou waren wij met een super leuk gezelschap. En het eten was voortreffelijk. De bediening hartstikke leuk. En dan ook nog het fantastische weer dat mede zorgde voor een onvergetelijke avond.

Mooie lokatie en mooi ingericht. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding viel tegen. Met name de asperges waren niet bijzonder. Ham ronduit niet lekker en waar was de Hollandaise saus?

Bij binnenkomst (late lunch) geen personeel te bekennen. Clubsandwich prima, de prijs mag wat lager

We hebben hier een diner gehad met ca 275 personen als afsluiting van ons bedrijfsuitje. Heerlijk gegeten, dat is tenslotte het voornaamste in het restaurant. En heel gezellig en sfeervol. Door de diverse zalen was het intiem en toch was de onderlinge afstand klein genoeg om elkaar niet uit het oog te verliezen. Vriendelijke personeel wat zijn werk met liefde doet.

Vanavond héérlijk gegeten. Gewèldige bediening en ruime keuze! Het restaurant ziet er ook heel gezellig uit. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Gisteravond hier heerlijk gegeten. De asperges zijn weer super. Vriendelijke en correcte service.

Prima restaurant, alleen net is te duur voor de kwaliteit die je krijgt.
