The Old Town Hall in Wijk 00

A fantastic lunch, a grilled cheese sandwich just the way you want it. The Uitsmijter was simply fantastic. We enjoyed the essentially simple dishes, but it was a real treat to have this in Montfoort.

Nice terrace, friendly service. Don't forget to peek inside: the Mayor's Room isn't particularly special, but the Gate Room has beautiful furniture.

We visited the place for a historical tour

Had a lovely lunch here this afternoon. We both had the carpaccio sandwich. You get this on delicious thick slices of primeval bread. And you really get value for your money. Delicious carpaccio and a good truffle sauce. Really good portion. It is very attractively decorated on the inside. The staff is very friendly. And it's nice that there is an elevator at the back, so if you have difficulty walking, you don't have to take the stairs.

Had a delicious tomato risotto last night. Cozy terrace and excellent service.

We rated this restaurant based on the five stars criteria that chatgpt gave us Me: Quality of the food: drinkable Beer (but we're German😉), tasty cocktails, food was very juicy and tasty, above average presentation of the food, nice variety of sides and all tasty, my chicken was really thick and still had some taste on the inside f.ex., fries/chips are a nightmare for soft fries enjoyers (perfectly crunchy), overall yummy Service: immediate and professional but nice welcome, quick taking of orders, 39:52 minutes until food after ordering, there were bonbons at the end :D Ambiente: 1. Look: Nice'n tidy, clean and comfy look with warm (not literally) lights, old but modern touch (me likes the chairs :3 ), toilets aren't really fitting for the restaurant (they are a not well cleaned, 2/5) Price-performance-ratio: bit 'bove average price (around 20 for the meals alone (I don't really know wether it's expensive or not since I haven't been in an european establishment for some time, super taste Consistency: can't tell, will never come back, duh Would give at least 3,7 Stars And now to another rating so this comment appears more legit Not me: Quality of the food: "was good, dude, what else should I say!" Wat een geweldige gezellig avond. Heerlijk gegeten en fantastische bediend. Kip was geweldig en de mosselen vielen ook goed in de smaak hoorde ik. Tot snel dan kom ik voor de mosselen.

Centraal gelegen in montfoort kun je hier heerlijk genieten van een diner. Wij hebben hier lekker gegeten. Leuk assortiment aan speciaal bieren. Bediening is oplettend en staan voor je klaar!

Heerlijk gegeten met vriendelijke bediening. Prijzen zijn schappelijk en passend bij de gerechten en drank.

Carpaccio was zeer mals en sappig. Het dessert was een ode aan pistache en crème brûlée. Zeer correcte en vriendelijke bediening. Het was een leuke avond.

Heel gezellig, goed betaalbaar en vriendelijk personeel. Heel leuk bij het afrekenen kun je een lolly of snoepje pakken!!

Een mooie lokatie maar de service is zeer matig. Vanwege het gebrek aan de oplettendheid van de bediening hebben we het bij 1 drankje gehouden en geen lunch besteld. Dit op een zeer rustig tijdstip, dus het is niet zo dat de bediening om kwam in de tafels en zijn best moest doen om alle klanten te kunnen bedienen. Het was zeer vreemd en ik zal hier dan ook niet echt naar terug komen.

Vorige week de verjaardag van mijn vader hier gevierd met een high tea met 30 personen. Dat was super. Zeer goed verzorgd. De hapjes waren super lekker en een zeer goede bediening. En vandaag nog lekker wezen eten. We hadden het 4 gangen verrassingsmenu. En dat was ook weer top. We hebben heerlijk gegeten!!!

Als er zon op het terras staat is het zeer goed te doen! De uitgebreide borrel plank werd gewaardeerd.

My rate: 4.5/5 A random visit for a lunch and it was great. Food: Club sandwich was fine and had ok flavor. However the hamburger was tasty. Burger was well cooked: well seasoning and juicy. The red onion added more flavour to the burger and made it even more delicious. Price: the portions were big and the prices were reasonable. Service: it was Saturday so it's a bit slow but generally waiters were nice. Recommended!

Het restaurantje ziet er van binnen super leuk uit, en het eten was erg lekker en de bediening uitermate attent. Het restaurantje ligt op een leuke, goed te bereiken locatie in Montfoort met genoeg parkeergelegenheid in de buurt. Al met al een aanrader dus!
