I've ordered takeout twice now, but unfortunately, it doesn't impress me. Delivery is fine, but the Great Wall and Golden Bridge are simply better in Den Helder when I order a similar menu. If you like spicy sambal, it's a very pleasant experience. Unfortunately, I won't be back a third time.

Dirty plates and cutlery. Poor service, which rudely had to rush past my mother who was struggling to walk. The selection is minimal. Lukewarm, bland, and you have to be careful not to fall because of the shoddy and broken laminate flooring. The food isn't even worth half the price. I've seen other wok/all-you-can-eat restaurants that are a few euros cheaper but much cleaner, better looking, and offer a wider selection. This is truly a pathetic mess. Money down the drain.

I went to your place today for the all-you-can-eat deal. I left feeling sick. The wok cooking liquid is rancid. The staff dropped a piece of chicken on the griddle, put it under the faucet, and cooked it through. It's absolutely bizarre. The wok meat has mold growing on it. All the meat in front of the griddle is piled up and together. So, people with allergies should call an ambulance. We're paying 40 euros per person for this?? After spending 80 euros in one evening, I'm going to the doctor to be checked for food poisoning. I'm sorry to say, but I won't be coming back. And I'd also like a refund. I'm not going to pay for this. The staff is very friendly and quick. But food storage really needs to change. You've got a lot of negative reviews about this. I hope something changes because the food safety authorities will come by soon, and then they'll be closed.

We had dinner for two on Friday, September 12th. It's a terrible restaurant. My wife and I both got food poisoning from what the doctor said was spoiled meat and/or fish... life-threatening! I was also shocked by the previous reviews, so we weren't the only ones, and the food has been extremely poor for at least a year. If we had known this beforehand, we would never have eaten here. Truly awful, and then there's the theatrics the hostess (owner) puts on, making her sound like a grown-up child... With a very air of arrogance... shouting and chatting with the regulars of a pet shop while we and the rest of the guests waited for drinks. The delivery driver was treated like dirt by the owner and was completely scolded. We strongly advise against this restaurant. We have, of course, reported the hygiene and safety of this establishment to the Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority.

One of the best places in the city. The restaurant is spacious and the visitors do not pay attention to each other. Buffet with a large assortment of fish and meat. Extremely delicious sushi.

What a lovely place! I'll definitely be back! The ingredients are fresh, and everything is perfectly prepared by one of the chefs! If you like spicy food, be sure to ask for the homemade sambal; you won't be disappointed.

Had dinner here tonight and everything was great. It was not busy so we were allowed to sit where we wanted. Almost immediately the waiter came to ask what we wanted to drink. Because we were quite early, not everything was ready yet. But we were immediately asked what we wanted so that it came first. That was great. All food is fresh and delicious. Everything from the refrigerator is cold, the hot dishes are hot and what you want to have made is perfect. I can't imagine you have anything to complain about here. Even when I once came with my vegan daughter, they had bought special dimsuns, which restaurant does that?? And yes, the laminate is no longer the prettiest, but why complain about it?? Even for dessert you can choose, do you want fried ice cream? They make it for you. This restaurant values ​​respect and appreciation for their customers very highly and many people can learn something from that. It remains my favorite restaurant in Den Helder and I hope to visit it often

Today I tried the Heldernees for a change... It's inedible, the noodles smell sour and are completely soggy... there are literally tufts of hair in my satay and the chicken is dry... The sushi is also very dry... Even the kids don't want to eat it. Ordered for more than 50 euros and regretted it! From now on you can order from the Great Wall of China again...

I will never voluntarily go here again! As if they have converted a sports hall into a wannebe wok. The laminate is coming loose and is broken, the further you walk to the back of the building, the worse. Drinks were quickly taken, but when it was brought to the table it was put on a turntable and we had to find out for ourselves who had what. (my catering heart hurt) The hot buffet is lukewarm and tasteless The wok was tough and the sauces were bland The grill was burnt and tasted like burnt soap suds (very strange) I didn't even dare to try the cold buffet. Ice cubes were placed on the food ready for the wok and grill (to maintain the fresh color). The fact that this company has not yet been closed by the Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority is mind-blowing NEVER AGAIN

Had dinner here last night with my family. The food was good, plenty of choice, friendly people working there, drinks were well maintained. Definitely worth repeating, it was our first time there.

Exactly what you would expect from an all-in restaurant. The service in particular was sublime... otherwise just good!

There are oysters (what I came for), delicious rolls (really delicious), hot dishes prepared for you to order, lamb, shrimp, salmon and much more. Delicious wine, bottled beer and other soft drinks. Good service, nice cooks and waiters. Definitely recommend

After a fun day with friends, we ended the day at the wok. We entered where the hostess and clerk welcomed us. We were 4 adults and 5 children and were looking for a large table. There was a play corner, where the hostess/servant pointed to the back and said, 'just look where you are taking your seat' and did not follow us. Strange but okay. The hostess/servant came to our table quite quickly to take drinks and then throw everything on the table and just put together your glass and drinks. We started with the food. There was very little choice, no fries for the children, but the chef immediately made them. Once the fries arrived at the table, they were very greasy and inedible. Steak was pink on the outside and brown on the inside. Beer on tap needed cleaning. Meat/fish from the grill was dry and not seasoned (apparently you had to indicate this yourself, as I am not used to a Wok) and nothing was explained about their working method upon arrival. Stir-frying was reasonable. Plates were often picked up late, resulting in piles of plates in front of you. My girlfriend and I didn't dare to eat anymore, so we quickly stopped dining and told the host that we thought the food was very bad and that we would not continue eating. Indicated that we wanted to pay for the men and children and not the women (We didn't eat anything after trying). The hostess came and what was a quiet conversation with the host, the lady started shouting angrily. I walked away and the men and girlfriend continued the conversation. There was no conversation and it ended with a call to the police. After waiting outside with the children for a while, the police finally arrived, we paid for the men and children and we could finally go home after a flopwok. I advise you not to eat here. The food, atmosphere and serves are just not good! I must report that the host remained calm and conducted the conversation well.

Unfortunately we will never come here again, the hot food was just warm, nothing wrong with that I guess? Fried banana was sour. Unfortunately, the cooling system for the desserts was broken and there were fruit flies in the ice cream. Fortunately, I didn't eat any of the desserts, but my daughter did!! It had been very warm for hours. Let's hope this doesn't make her sick. Indicated this and they immediately started refrigerating it because it was indeed not good, everything in it was thrown away. But still charge full price. It's really bizarre, it is said that you can sit for longer than 2.5 hours and then you can still eat desserts. This was not possible because we had a 1-year-old child with us and she was already tired after 2.5 hours. After having had quite a drama there, we still had to pay the full price, bizarre!! While the choice there was not very special in terms of food for the price of 41 euros per person. I honestly don't understand how they haven't gone bankrupt yet.

Large surface area, lots of choice of food... Special dishes, in addition to the standard Chinese dishes. Friendly staff. An excellent location and a nice place to be for the all-in concept. Now (June 2024) we are shocked by the all you can eat price... That price is no longer fun if you go there with your family 😔

When I got home I couldn't leave the toilet, very bad food

Spacious place, beautiful buffets and plenty of choice. Good quality food; Chinese from frying, stir frying, sushi and for example delicious steak or chicken from the plate. Drinks delivered to the table in bottles. Nice staff and up for a nice chat. Spacious, so also easily wheelchair accessible. Tasty desserts.

Bad service, on a quiet day there is 1 waitress who hardly asked about drinks. The lady then sat at the table of regular customers chatting, while all tables were without drinks. Ultimately, another guest went to the chef about this and indicated that every table had empty glasses, the cook walked to the bar and took it. drinks arranged while the lady continued to chat. Had dinner at the Heldernees for the first time, very large restaurant and beautiful interior. The food from the buffet was tasty, the sushi was also tasty. The dishes that you could have stir-fried were also good, but the pieces of meat such as ribeye were fried for way too long, which was a real shame. Service was perfect, all plates were picked up very quickly and we were also provided with drinks very quickly the entire time.

Veel van de vis en vlees had ik mijn vraagtekens bij of ik het wel moest eten. Zalm ruikt naar oude zweet voeten en het varkensvlees ruikt zuur. Ik heb niet alles durven eten omdat het er gewoon niet lekker meer uit zag, veel verkleurd en een goede geur. Het meisje in de bediening deed echt heel erg haar best dus voor haar een dikke pluim, de rest tja.... Ik hoop dat ik niet de hele nacht op de wc zit.

Super lekker gegeten , goede bediening en zeer vriendelijk personeel. Veel keuze uit verschillende producten , wokken , grillen , bakken en een uitgebreide ijsbar , en allemaal even vriendelijk bereid door kundige koks. Parkeren kan gratis voor de deur. Echt een aanrader , ga er zeker nog eens heen als ik in de buurt ben.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

We zijn meer keus gewend maar op het rundvlees na was een beetje taai heerlijk gegeten mooi en ruim restaurant met uistekende curvice en bediening...een aanrader dus.

Hele lekkere wok in den helder gezellige sfeer en aardig personeel. Eten is lekker en goed opmaak en indien je het anders wil kan er heel veel. Zeker een aanrader om te gaan eten.

Een leuk all you can eat concept met voldoende keuze uit gerechten. Echter is in mijn optiek het eten niet altijd vers bereid en ontbreekt er regelmatig iets in de warmhoud bakken. Het personeel is super leuk, zij herkennen ons omdat wij er drie keer eerder zijn geweest. Zij maken gezellig een praatje en tonen oprecht interesse in hun gasten. De sfeer is wat je van een wok kunt verwachten, niet bijzonder maar zeker ook niet slecht. Al bij al blijven wij terugkomen, dus kan ik dit restaurant zeker aanraden! Het enige minpuntje is dat ik vind dat de prijzen behoorlijk gestegen zijn.

Ze zijn in de afgelopen tijd postief verbeterd! Eten is goed op smaak en alles is ruim aanwezig. Ze zijn snel met het afruimen van de borden en vragen of je nog wat wilt drinken. Super vriendelijk personeel.

All in concept, lekker assortiment aan eten, vooraf een keuze uit twee soepen met brood, kroepoek en kruidenboter Warm buffet met ruime keuze, ook aan de kinderen is gedacht! Wok, tepan, grill alles aanwezig... Vis, vlees, tahoe en veel keuzes aan groente. Ook aan dessert is gedacht, toetjes, ijsbar, diverse soorten kleine hapjes, koekjes, fruit en een chocoladefontein. Personeel is erg vriendelijk, glazen snel gevuld en borden snel weggehaald!!

Gezellig lekker eten goede sfeer

Volop keuze en drankjes . Van de grill, van de wok en bakplaat. Naast de vele wok groentes ook genoeg kant en klaar en alternatieven. Ben je vegan of vega kun je dit aangeven. De reinheid van de toiletten is matig maar in de keuken is het goed schoon ook tijdens de voorbereiding overdag.

Niet groot, maar ontzettend lekker. We waren met een grote groep. Patat werd vers gebakken op aanvraag. Er was genoeg keuze, ze hadden zelfs T-bone. Niet echt als dikke steak, maar precies voldoende om nog plek over te houden voor de andere lekkere dingen . Ze kwamen vaak genoeg langs voor drinken en alle werknemers waren vriendelijk. Kortom... een top restaurant!!

Heerlijk eten en voor elk wat hij of zij lekker vindt.

We komen hier bijna elke maand wel een keer. Je kan er heerlijk all-in eten en drinken met veel variatie.

Von außen sieht das Restaurant nicht sehr einladend aus, aber das täuscht von innen ist es klasse, tolles Konzept Festpreis bezahlen und dann 2 1/2 Stunden essen und trinken frei. Das Essen (Buffet es gibt für alle etwas) ist klasse egal ob fertige Gerichte oder frisch für einen zubereitet , toller Service unsere Gläser waren nie lange leer , Preis Leistung passt. Wenn wir wieder in den helder sind weiß ich wo wir wieder essen gehen.

Prima wokrestaurant. All you can eat. Eten is lekker. En het wordt gerund door een hele aardige familie, die zich allen voor 100% inzetten, waardoor er een hele fijne sfeer hangt.
