Wow, I was in Den Helder for work and ended up at Kade 60. What a great place. Great atmosphere, tasty beers, and delicious (and plentiful) food. Highly recommended!!

The atmosphere is great and the food is delicious! I quickly picked out some appetizers, but I definitely want to try a more extensive meal there sometime.

We had another delicious meal there; everything you eat is delicious. Cozy atmosphere.

€19.50 for two slices of bread that had just come out of the freezer. The salmon was 30% brown and slimy, and the brown part was dry, and the salmon smelled terrible. All in all, awful. As I write this, I'm blowing up the toilet.

We had a delicious fried egg sandwich with bacon, cheese, and mushrooms. Friendly service and a cozy interior.

Our first time eating here with our group. The food tasted okay, but the fish was lukewarm, and there was a long delay between serving. We didn't have the pre-arranged seating, but they placed us in a much busier spot without consulting us, so we couldn't really hear each other. I would have preferred to have known that beforehand; I hadn't gone there myself for nothing and asked where we could sit. The response to our question about the lukewarm fish was not good. The staff were audibly saying something nasty to us, even though we had politely asked if we could have the fish warm. It's a real shame; I find it unprofessional and not the way to treat your guests. We spent a considerable amount of money here, but they lost our group as customers. Fortunately, there are more great places in Willemsoord, so we'll be regulars there.

I thought it was a charming restaurant. The food was excellent.

A superb, industrial-style restaurant. A diverse menu. There should be something for every taste. Generous portions. Incredibly delicious food. Since there were five of us and we had four different dishes, I can say that everything was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended! Thank you for the delightful evening. P.S. Even in the ladies' restroom, everything has been thought of for women! Very attentive. Communication was seamless, whether in German or English, since we unfortunately don't speak Dutch.

Extremely inhospitable service. Things can go wrong, but the way they resolve them demonstrates once again that hospitality is a profession, and that's completely ignored here. The waitstaff couldn't care less.

Great food, we were with a group, the atmosphere was good but we were sitting in the middle and there was a lot of noise around us so it was difficult to hear each other well.

This is a cafe with a cozy interior and pleasant music. The service is also friendly. The quality of the food isn't exactly great. My rib-eye steak was far too tough, dry (even though I ordered it rare), and lacking in flavor, except for a dominant peppery taste. The steak knife was so blunt I could barely cut through it because of the tendons. As mentioned in other reviews, the portion of fries is very small for two people.

We enjoyed delicious mussels here for two (the portion was way too large 😅). We received very courteous, friendly, and attentive service throughout our stay. Even though the restaurant was almost full, there were no gaps in service. Hats off! Just like in the old days... Highly recommended! 5 ⭐️

The food is well-prepared, and the atmosphere and service are also good. However, I feel it's a cheap meal. I ate there a few years ago... it was better. After that experience, we were ready to sit back and enjoy ourselves: the schnitzel was delicious back then, but unfortunately, it's now been removed from the menu... :( But there are still some pretty good options. For a hefty price, you expect something... the "everything comes with fries and vegetables" option... well... not a large portion, unfortunately. There were three cooked beans hidden under my piece of meat, and a very small portion of fries (half a portion of MacCie.d.), and that for a table of two. The salad on the side also fits in half a glass of drink. In short, I was completely drained. I was completely milked. What does it cost to cook a few potatoes... or to add some vegetables (I'd prefer a 50/50 ratio, not 2/50)? Anyway, the preparation was good, the ambiance was good, etc., etc. So many pluses, but the management decision was high, the price was low, and the quantity was a big fail. Such a shame... My feeling upon leaving: I was ripped off for 100 euros.

Burger kinda tasteless and a bit raw. Fries also kinda wobbly, not crispy. It wasn’t exactly bad, but I would not come again.

We're here on vacation and stumbled across Kade 60 by chance the day before yesterday. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, and exceptional food. We have to go back today; it's addictive!

The food was truly delicious, and the kids were having a wonderful time too. Long story short: simply excellent 👍🏻 and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is nice and spacious, so you're not pushing chairs against each other. The restrooms are nice and clean, and they even cater to the needs of women. Our youngest daughter was secretly very happy about that. Dogs are also welcome. We'll definitely be back, big thumbs up 👍🏻👌🏻

A lovely restaurant with attentive service. First, we enjoyed a delicious cappuccino with apple pie. We returned later that day for lunch, which was delicious and plentiful. We live too far away, but if we ever return to Den Helder, we won't have to search for a suitable restaurant.

My wife and I each ordered a soup. It was lukewarm onion soup with no bread. It was Thai curry soup, just curry powder mixed with warm water. Disgusting. Accordingly, we canceled any further orders.

We had a lovely meal with a group of eight. The bread platter is highly recommended, with delicious bread and various spreads. Carpacho and a chicken satay skewer were good. The salad could have been better; it lacked flavor. The service was friendly and helpful. The building had an industrial feel, as it's a former naval shipyard. It did feel a bit dark and hollow because of this.

Small and inconspicuous from the outside, an excellent restaurant is hidden in a former warehouse on the edge of the Willemsoord marina. We were there at lunchtime and ordered from the lunch menu. We will come back and try the dinner in the evening.

Super tasty, especially the BBQ... I could go for the sauce. 🤤 The sandwich with beef and champions also turned out well and was very hearty. The service is very friendly, but we had to wait a long time because there wasn't much going on.

Philadelphia cheese steak was very simple with 2 simple slices of bread.

Very comfortable, the interior is really nice.

One of the few where you just get a really tasty cookie with your coffee/tea and not one of those old pre-packed tasteless cookies. The service is always pleasant and you immediately feel welcome when you step inside. Always a lot of food, tasty and enough choice, also for the children; lemonade with a straw and a piece of candy, coloring page for the kids while eating and sometimes a gift afterwards! Plus point! (Ladies') toilet with hairspray, deodorant and ladies' bandages, you won't find this anywhere anymore?! 100 points!

Just had coffee and a nice glass of hot chocolate. Everything served with some extras. It was very cold outside but inside it was warm and cozy. Wonderful opportunity. Definitely do it.

Het is heel moeilijk om in Den Helder een lekkere vegetarische maaltijd te krijgen maar hier is dat gelukt, echt smullen! Goeie prijs/kwaliteit verhouding, leuk ingericht.

Had a nice coffee here on Friday and came back on Saturday evening to eat delicious spareribs. Very large portions, well varnished, cooked and with tasty sauces. Fresh fries and raw vegetables topped it off. Pleasant service in a nice old foundry with a nice large clean open kitchen. Recommended and certainly affordable.

Geweldige locatie. Grote ruimte, maar heel sfeervol en warm ingericht. Zeer vriendelijk personeel, voelt je bij binnenkomst meteen welkom. We hadden allemaal een ander gerecht, maar allen zeer te spreken over onze keuze. We komen zeker een keer terug.

26 okt 2024. Met een gezelschap van 27 personen een heerlijk en gezellig etentje gevierd. Was super goed. Heerlijk eten, goede sfeer en zeer vriendelijke bediening die niets teveel was voor hen. Gaan zeker weer hier een etentje vieren. Erg gezellig. Had zeventig jaar gteleden dat ik hier nog rondliep niet kunnen bevroeden dat hier zo'n goed en zeer gezellige eetgelegenheid zou zijn.

Ate there today. Only when we went home we (me and my girlfriend) got massive diarrhea. Now 4 hours later my stomach still hurts. So there was definitely something wrong with the food.

Wir waren mittags auf ein Kaffee im Kade 60 und es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir direkt einen Tisch für das Abendessen reserviert haben. Abends haben wir den gleichen Tisch bekommen und einen schönen Abend verbracht. Ich hatte die vegetarischen, in Butter gebratenen Ravioli und als Vorspeise die Garnelen. Alles sehr lecker. Mir hat besonders die offene Küche, das sehr saubere WC und die Freundlichkeit des Personals gefallen. Ich kann das KADE60 auf jeden Fall empfehlen.
