It's been a while since we've had this, but today we had dinner again, for a more pleasant reason. It was delicious, and the service was friendly!

As always, we had a delicious lunch (sourdough bread with two croquettes, a meat lunch trio, and a portion of fries for two). The food was delicious, the fries were fantastic, the view was lovely again in the sunshine, and the service was attentive and very friendly. It's our regular spot for good reason.

I was a bit hesitant about eating here, but I went anyway. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the atmosphere. The service was excellent.

We've never had such a bad meal. The steak tartare was inedible, completely flavorless, a lump of meat and an egg yolk that hadn't been seasoned. The sirloin steak was pale and tasteless, and the vegetables on the plate were hard to find with a magnifying glass. The positive reviews are from lunch or from a long time ago, because I can't imagine anyone raving about this place.

It is very centrally located near the ferry to Texel.

Yesterday we celebrated Mom's birthday and went to dinner with 16 people. The food was plentiful and delicious. The service was perfect. We were also a lot of people and therefore a bit louder than many other guests. But it was absolutely delicious and cozy. Definitely recommended.

It's ridiculous that everything has to be reserved in advance. Nothing spontaneous anymore. And then three drinks and a bread platter for so much money!! Terrible service, too. Beautiful view, that's all.

The restaurant offered an evening full of culinary surprises. The dishes were original, refined, and beautifully presented. The service exuded professionalism and made the evening special. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and relaxed. We felt truly pampered. This restaurant is now one of my favorites.

Haven't been back in ages! The view is still fantastic, but the quality of the food has deteriorated dramatically. The plating looks beautiful, but it's more salad than main course. The taste and preparation were also very superficial, with little attention paid to it. We received only a lukewarm response when we brought this up to the staff (they can't help it, but they probably heard it ad nauseam). A missed opportunity, Landsend. This isn't how we know this restaurant at all. Perhaps a different owner with different priorities??? Such a shame!

We found the restaurant via Google and are absolutely thrilled. We were here for lunch and had an omelet, a snack platter, and a slice of cake, and it was truly delicious. The coffee (especially the café brulee) was also very, very good. The atmosphere was great, the waiters were super friendly; all in all, the 5 stars are definitely deserved!

We regularly come here for a bite to eat and a Duvel. It's a beautiful location with a fantastic view. Excellent parking. The menu is a bit limited, but what's on it is very good. The service is excellent, very attentive and helpful. I read in reviews that the wait is a bit long, but something has to happen when it's busy! I think it's not too bad, although it seems like people are getting more impatient these days. We love coming here.

A great spot for coffee, lunch, or dinner! Lands End in Den Helder is a wonderful place to relax for a cup of coffee or a drink. The lunch and dinner menu is well-stocked, with something for everyone. You can sit inside or outside on the terrace, and the service is friendly, efficient, and attentive. The restrooms are clean, and parking is free, which is always nice. An ideal place to relax, especially if you're waiting for the ferry to Texel. Highly recommended!

A nice hotel with very friendly staff. The bar is very welcoming. Breakfast is what you'd expect: good and more than adequate. We'll be back soon. As mentioned, we were back on August 9th and 10th. Everyone was very enthusiastic about the location and accommodations. Friendly staff, though a very efficient woman behind the bar. She apologized for the lack of a cold beer (Hertog Jan) on tap. So we were forced to drink the rather expensive Texel beer. It didn't negatively impact the atmosphere. Best regards from Twente

Had a delicious breakfast in a beautiful place

The view is really nice but that was about it. Floor and table were dirty, menu sticky. The melon lemonade tasted rather artificial. Chicken was very dry, drecched with a heavy peanut sauce. Fries were OK but with many black spots that should have been sorted out beforehand. Service was rather slow, focussed more on the outdoor guests with drinks.

Everything was fine, but it could be better explained to people with limited mobility. The walker path wasn't easy to find.

Lovely on the terrace at the top of the dike; watching the boats and for me an omelette and a cup of coffee—what more could you want?

Had reserved for a lunch with 12 people, 1 with a walking aid so on the flat floor. Were emailed in advance on the day itself with the confirmation again. Upon arrival there appear to be two tables pushed together of different widths and it is set for 9 instead of 12. Chairs still had to be found. Taking the orders went smoothly but took a long time before it arrived. The food was fine, only the plate with the uitsmijter was very meager, 2 sandwiches with the uitsmijter on it, no lettuce leaf or anything, looked more like an uitsmijter at a roadside restaurant (which are often even better presented) all in all a purely inferior experience than we are used to from Lands End! Too bad, does not invite you to repeat.

The terrace is the perfect spot for a sundowner. The food is good, the drinks menu is well-stocked, and the staff is very friendly.

Beautiful location with an atmospheric interior and excellent cuisine. You sit there wonderfully and the view is great. Unfortunately, the pleasure is always spoiled by the slow and disinterested service. Staff does not come to you of their own accord and everything takes unnecessarily long, not once, but structurally. For a relaxing afternoon it is fine, but having lunch during your break is simply not an option here. I will only come back if I have the whole day off. Too bad for such a beautiful place.

Avondeten is heerlijk, borrels kun je ook goed terrecht. worden goede glutenvrije opties geboden. Brood voor lunch is droog en niet lekker, zou kiezen voor salade opties. Jammer want broodje kip is favoriet.

We waren er voor een familiefeest, en hebben er met 25 geluncht. Leuk keuzemenuutje, voor een alleszins redelijke prijs. Alleraardigste mensen in de bediening (iedereen was allervriendelijkst, maar Sander, Yorrick en Marieke waren top gastheren en dame! ) Mooie plek met uitzicht op zee, en een prettig hotel met plezierige kamers. We komen zeker terug!

Wat een geluksmomentje zo in het zonnetje op het buitenterras. Uitzicht over zee en lekker ontspannen zitten. De limonades zijn nieuw op de kaart en echt een aanrader. Fruitig en fris en lekker vers gemaakt. Bittergarnituur erbij en gewoon genieten. Binnen ziet het er ook mooi uit, modern en sfeervol tegelijk. Lekkere dingen op de kaart. De bediening is super vriendelijk en heeft absoluut de aandacht voor de gast. Kortom gewoon doen!

Friendly service, but it takes a very long time to get your food. It's a pity that the portions of fries are so small, because they were very tasty. The atmosphere is ruined by the door that squeaks and constantly opens and closes, seems to me to be an easy fix.

Landsend in Den Helder has always been an accessible restaurant with a good price-quality ratio. Just good food, no haute cuisine, pleasant relaxed atmosphere. How different it is now. I find it really ridiculous that you are now served a small portion of meat or fish with 2 green beans and a sliver of carrot as side vegetables and that you have to order a bowl of potatoes for 4 euros. The service wasn't great either, the overall atmosphere wasn't what it once was either. No, I won't go there again.

Ordered at 5:30 PM and the steak was not yet there. We just went to McDonald's. We were there with 2 small children who were hungry. We will never come here again. The only plus is the location. But for the sea view and food I would rather go for Nogal Wiedus

Came here to celebrate an occasion with my elderly father who has been coming here since its early days. Friendly customer service, a modern and comfortable interior setting that offers many different seating areas with views as required. Overall, a great experience.

It took quite a long time before we were asked what we wanted to drink. We also asked for the menu, which we had to do twice, then tried 3 times to order something, the answer was always I'll be with you shortly, after 25 minutes the drinks were paid, and they were we are going to eat somewhere else on 2-2-2025….. 3 weeks ago we asked, can we eat and drink something here, answer drinks are possible, but the kitchen has no capacity for eating, that was because 2 p.m

Although I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and always appreciated the quality and service, this time I experienced an issue with bedbugs in my room. Upon waking up in the morning, I discovered multiple bites, which were later confirmed to be from bedbugs. This was both frustrating and uncomfortable, detracting significantly from my otherwise positive experience

Super delicious food, with a beautiful view, We went 4 times, always for lunch and we were served 4 times by a lady, tall with short hair and glasses, this lady needs training, she is not friendly or patient with customers, I understand that sometimes she can have less good days, but every 4 times 😣!!! But on the other hand, there is a colleague (long hair) who is super friendly and attentive!!

Ate here on Christmas Day. Excellent choice for a Christmas dinner. All dishes were tasty and very good. Staff friendly and charming. Welcome drink was great. In short, it was fun again.

Solid and good hotel, good bed, good breakfast

Had lunch 2 weeks ago, my wife had a hamburger and I had a hamburger and fries. The fries were transparent and hollow, the hamburger was unpalatable. I ate 2 fries and a very small bite of my burger. Even my wife thought it was disgusting. Bouncer was good, but little can go wrong with that. Paid quickly and left. Then we had something tasty to eat in town. Last night I was a guest at a birthday party and the same again, tables not in front of each other, no table water, I had a steak that was as hard as a bullet. My wife's mix grill was also poor, chicken breast dry and the pork belly poorly prepared and sausage was also dry. The piece of tenderloin was like a piece of rubber. The rest of the group didn't think it was edible either. When we had finished eating, the birthday boy and 2 other guests only received their food :( We are not used to this, previously it was always fine. Price quality is really below par and we don't come anymore. Fortunately, there were other good restaurants where we being able to eat well and at much better prices. The toilets were also dirty and old, which usually says enough about the quality of a restaurant!
