A lovely little shop with delicious Illy ice cream and coffee. Definitely a must-see if you're strolling the streets of beautiful Domburg.

The breakfast here is excellent. But the ice cream and especially the coffee are also fantastic. We always go to IJsvogel when we're in Domburg.

It's wonderful to relax on the terrace. Tea/coffee, Irish coffee, and delicious ice cream. We love coming to Domburg, and it tastes delicious. Also important, the friendly service is definitely a plus.

Bad experience, expensive scoop of ice cream, melted before we could find a place to eat it. We were chased off the patio in a very unpleasant manner. I read the notice on the display case and thought this was for inside. There was no sign outside saying you couldn't just eat your ice cream. We won't be back!!

We had a lovely weekend in Domburg. We had three wonderful breakfasts here. Perfectly prepared and very tasty. The service was friendly and welcoming. We even welcomed our dog. Besides breakfast, they also serve delicious sandwiches and a wide selection of ice cream.

Based on the many positive reviews, we visited Ijsvogel. We were a bit disappointed. The ice cream was okay, the atmosphere rather ordinary. In any case, nothing worth driving a long way for. The service was friendly, and the prices were fair for Domburg, which doesn't necessarily mean the quality is in line with what you get. All in all, OK, but not a wow experience.

Very good ice cream and they even have vegan cones and many sorbets including chocolate sorbet! <3 I recommend it.

We were there with two small children. The staff was very friendly. They served vegan ice cream. The Choco Choco Boem is highly recommended. They even have a diaper changing facility. We'd love to come back.

Ice cream sundaes are tasty, but very unfriendly to children... The lady thought we were gone while I was washing my hands, I hear her say to her colleague: the next time they want to sit here we will say that we have no room... we were gone in half an hour and just left a tip, quickly earned, you would think. We won't be coming back here again, so madam is in the mood.

Delicious breakfast! Very friendly, neat employees! An accidentally knocked over glass was immediately cleaned up without any effort. We had a breakfast board for 2 people. It was well stocked with many different and tasty things!

Het is eigenlijk een ijs- koffie restaurant maar wij kwamen er voor het ontbijt. Wij hebben hier 2 dagen prima ontbeten. Het was echt heerlijk en smakelijk en tevens een heel vriendelijke bediening! Jammer dat er zo weinig reviews van dit leuke restaurant zijn. Ik kan niets anders dan dit restaurant met 5 sterren beoordelen!

Gut und teuer. Service lässig, Cappuccino, Kakao und Kuchen sehr lecker. Eis schmeckt auch im Winter. Toiletten nicht zeitgemäß.

The ambience is still very nice. Unfortunately a disappointment with the “teabox”. The price has increased (which I think is ok if the performance remains the same). Unfortunately the scones shrank to a third, so it doesn't help that they came three instead of two. Unfortunately only cream instead of clotted cream. It's a shame, it used to be excellent 🤷‍♀️

This could have been a nice photo of 2 cups of delicious coffee. We have been coming for years to enjoy a cup of coffee and something tasty at De Ijsvogel during our holidays in Domburg. Today we wanted to do that too and after dinner we rushed to the kingfisher because they are closing at 6:00 PM, we arrived just after 5:30 PM and wanted to order coffee but were turned away, “because we are closing” was the errand. I am very disappointed in your service (we would have finished those 2 cups of coffee well before closing time)

The mocha ice cream is delicious. Intense coffee flavor. Too bad there is only 1 sofa on the terrace that is usually occupied. Would like some more chairs so you can enjoy your ice cream.

Ice cream too expensive 1 small scoop of ice cream in a cone for 2.50 euros is really too expensive. Moreover, we were asked to leave the terrace because it was not the intention to eat ice cream there. There was no indication anywhere that this was not allowed. Too bad because we would have also wanted to have a cup of coffee, but then the fun is over.

I really don't understand what people are complaining about in the reviews. I live at the end of the street and this is our regular address for ice cream. Staff is super nice, the ice cream flavors are diverse and handmade, the price is fair for the current economy. 10/10 ♥️

Very regular Eis Creme you know from your supermarket for very exclusive prices. For 2,5€small and app 8€ or so for extra big scoop (which is kind of ridiculous) you would expect something special but it is not. It is not bad, it is just regular, normal, eatable. Price- quality is not justifiable. Long lines does not mean good food, it means busy city, since long lines were everywhere

Just relaxing 😎 ☀️sitting on the terrace was not an option.😢 We took a seat on the terrace to have a drink and order an ice cream. The children were looking in the display case to see what kind of ice cream they had🍨🍦 and the employees were helpful👌🏻. The lady on the terrace indicated that she would come to take our drink order ☕️ once we had ordered the ice cream and the employee at the display case indicated that she would put it on our table's bill. Then the owner came and said that was not the intention (It is not a snack bar here.) The tone and atmosphere were immediately set. 👎🏻 No, I didn't see the note on the display case!!

The ice cream parlor is very visible in the center of Domburg. We were served quickly, the wait staff was correct. I found the quality of the ice cream to be very fine, really tasty. The size of the balls were ok. The prices per ball are rather high.

The ice cream tastes good but not better than anywhere else in an ice cream parlor that delivers good quality. The balls are pretty small for €2.50 per ball. So in short, good quality at overpriced prices.

Unfortunately, the portion size of a ball of ice cream is larger for locals than for tourists, and that's for the price. That's a no-go. This means it stays with just one visit.

Thank you again for the two delicious ice creams that we received. We were buzzing with laughter for a long time, especially after the surprise of the ice creams we received. Awesome! We will definitely come by again.

You should think about more and better staff here!

The ice cream parlor has a modern and cozy lounge feel. The individual scoops are not cheap, but the ice cream is really extremely good! We each had an ice cream sundae and the prices were justified. Everything is right and the taste is really good quality! The homemade lemonade was also very good. The dog was also allowed in and the staff was really very friendly.

We went there specifically for breakfast. It was super tasty, first class prepared. Service totally friendly. Always happy to come back there.

Sehr viel Auswahl. Der Eissalon hat für uns das Beste Eis in Domburg und Umgebung. Mir gefallen vor allem die sehr leckeren Sorbet Eissorten. TOP

Update: We had the same experience in 2021: great service and extremely delicious ice cream. If you are in Zeeland and like good ice cream, you should definitely visit the Ijsvogel.

came in with the family for ice cream and coffee the usual price of ice cream is 2€, but it turned out that if you sit and drink coffee, the price of ice cream is already 3€ per scoop. it is important to warn about this in advance. Leuke plek, goede kaart. Ook plantaardige melk voor in de cappuccino etc. Bij ons viel een koffie om en we kregen binnen 2 minuten een nieuwe, die niet in rekening werd gebracht. Een aanrader.

Eine echte Überraschung nach dem anstrengenden Strandbesuch. Der Laden liefert konsequent ab. Der Waffelteig einfach nur lecker und kocht zu süß. Beim Lemon merengue ist bereits der Anblick grandios. Auch Hollands Glorie mit den eingelegten Rosinen war ein Kracher. Weiter so!

In Domburg ist viel sehr teuer geworden. Überraschend allerdings, dass es im Ijsvogel gefühlt nicht so ist. Lecker Kaffee und Apfelkuchen. Sehr zu empfehlen

Domburg - Hochburg der Deutschen Camper! Sich aufzuregen, dass die Kugel hier über 1,60€ kostet, ist absolut unangebracht! Wenn es euch Scheinheiligen nicht passt, dann kommt halt nicht her! :D Wenn die Kugel 2€ kosten würde, würde es auch jeder kaufen!! Eisdiele ist das wie man es von einer Eisdiele erwartet. Schnell, freundlich und unglaublich lecker! Einfach so, wie man es in Deutschland nicht bekommt :D Besuch einfach empfehlenswert! Ihr seid im Urlaub!! Also regt euch nicht über 0,50 € auf! Sehr große Kugeln, die auch noch mega gut geschmeckt haben. Und preislich angenehm überrascht. Stand 05/23 zwei Euro pro "Kanonenkugel". Schöne Auswahl an Eissorten. Wenn es nicht so weit wäre, würden wir gerne öfter bei euch naschen kommen.

Waffeln, Eisbecher, Brownies, Kuchen,... Schwierig sich da bei einem Besuch zu entscheiden. Seit 10 Jahren esse ich mich nun durch die Karte und egal, was ich bestelle: es ist einfach wunderbar. Das Personal ist nett, die Preise für die Region passend, das Ambiente lädt zum Verweilen ein. Drinnen wie draußen sitzt man gerne. Bis zum nächsten Jahr!
