A nice little café with delicious cakes – the chocolate cake was a bit too rich for me. Ordering and paying via the app is very modern and easy. You can also sit outside when the weather is nice.

I enjoyed a lovely coffee and cake here. The atmosphere and decor are warm and charming. Even though it was busy, we didn’t have to wait long to be seated or served.

De Koffieschenkerij is inside a former church, the building is beautiful without trying too hard. High brick walls, old windows, real character. The garden is the real win. Even in the cold it works, sheltered, calm, and oddly peaceful given how busy the place gets. The coffee is very good. Properly made, no gimmicks, no burnt nonsense. They clearly know what they’re doing. It is busy, but here’s the smart part: QR-code ordering. No chaos at the counter, no waving for attention. Orders move fast and smoothly, which keeps the whole place functional instead of stressful. Thanks to the space, the garden, and the ordering system, it never tips into unpleasant. Excellent coffee, great setting, smart logistics. Worth the crowd.

Had sadly a bad experience here today. Tried to get a table inside, someone pushes me and gets the last one. Ok, deep breath and ask the workers how the sitting table works, "oh it is free seating". Well ok! Next table stands up, i sit in it, and a very angry woman comes saying that they were waiting in a queue. ????. I ask the workers again, "oh of you wait for more than 5 minutes then you are in a queue". My face was like ???!!!???!!! Left without a coffe, and having a confrontation with random people because the workers couldn't care to explain how their own place works. Sad, place looked cozy, but completely malfunctioning. Better places at the end of the canal leaving the city centre.

A beautiful and unique setting with very reasonable prices. The prices are reasonable for a coffee, the terrace is pleasant, and the waitresses are friendly. Perfect for relaxing.

De Koffieschenkerij is such a charming place to visit in Ams. The atmosphere is calm and cozy :) I really enjoyed the matcha and the homemade cakes, they taste fresh and comforting. The setting feels warm and peaceful, making it a beautiful spot to relax during a walk around the city!

The coffee is always warm here , I don’t know why it isn’t hotter. Ordering and paying online at the table is kind of weird, also only credit card so that’s a bummer. If you’re walking in Amsterdam and want to sip some coffee and enjoy the backyard I recommend this place, wish there were heaters outside though!

The apple pie was incredibly delicious and moist, with perfectly balanced and pronounced spices. Everything about it was delightful, even though it was cold. I also loved the coffee; it was excellent. It's one of the few places where I've enjoyed their coffee so much. The atmosphere was lovely; I felt like I didn't want to leave because I was so happy.

The coffee shop feels like a home, but it has both indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered a flat white with oat milk, which was excellent and delicious (10/10), and an Americano coffee with Brazilian beans (9/10). We didn't try their desserts. The atmosphere is very relaxing and peaceful.

A lovely spot for a good coffee on cold days, naturally accompanied by a slice of Appletaart. We discovered it on our first day strolling through the streets of Amsterdam, and we went back on our last day before catching the train back to the airport. It has a charming terrace, and inside there's a cozy lounge and a small mezzanine with tables and sofas. 100% recommended. If I return to Amsterdam, I'll definitely go back.

A famous apple pie shop 🍎. The shop is tucked away in a quiet corner; you enter it like a small apartment, very cozy and quiet. The staff are amazing and cheerful. Orders are placed via barcode; you order and pay. I got an apple pie and a cappuccino, which cost me 10 euros. I didn't like the taste of the apple pie, and the coffee was just okay. It's nice as a place to sit and experience, but I didn't really like the taste.

I think this coffee shop is overrated. I went because it had a 4.7 rating… I think it barely gets a 4. The coffee was cold and the "cheese roll" was awful.

I visited De Koffieschenkerij, a cozy café right next to De Oude Kerk (The Old Church), about a 7–10 minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station. The location is very charming - there’s a lovely outdoor garden with a pear tree, and inside it’s cozy with soft lighting and nice textures. The apple pie (€6.20) really lives up to its reputation - delicious and the cappuccino (€4.80 for a large) was smooth and tasty, though the size felt small for the price. Cons: Ordering system: Everything runs through their app/QR code, even if you’re dining in. The app said “take away,” but I was told to order through it for dining in as well. Payment: They don’t take cash (at least at the time of my visit). I had to pay via Apple Pay in CAD, which came to about 22.10 CAD. Good to check with them about euro payments if you prefer cash. Service: The staff didn’t feel very engaged. While polite, the warmth and energy were missing, and I was served my coffee and pie in takeaway containers even though I asked to sit inside. It made me feel a bit out of place. Overall: On my solo travel in this stunning city, sitting down for my first coffee and pie, it felt a bit detached. The apple pie was smooth, delicious, and a good size, and the cappuccino was enjoyable, though the “large” felt a bit small. Digital ordering is convenient, but being served in takeaway containers inside took away from the warmth of my first experience, and I hope you guys have a better experience. :)

One of my favorite cafes in Amsterdam, and there are so many! The coffees are delicious, the matcha mango too, but what I highly recommend is the Cortado! The upstairs seating area is beautiful with a cozy and chill vibe. It's located in the historic city center, right next to Amsterdam's oldest building, and the terrace is gorgeous.

We went to De Koffieschenkerij for an afternoon snack and it was delicious! We tried multiple deserts and all of them are great. My favourite was the apple pie. The drinks are also good and there’s the option of swapping the milk for oat milk. The request is made through the phone and the service is very fast. Thank you for the experience!

Delicious coffee in a cozy medieval church? Yas 🤩 I accidentally stumbled across this cute spot while browsing the downtown area and it was just such a great find. Even though the qr codes on the tables tell you to order online you can totally order at the bar or with one of their staff members. They don't take cash though. The setting is absolutely adorable, and the coffee was very tasty too. You can also sit upstairs - it looks like the backdrop of a movie, so adorable. Definitely worth the visit!

Only went for a coffee so can't review the food but you are meant to use the QR code on the table to make your order which I find very impersonal. I actually went inside to order as I wanted to request that my coffee was extra hot. It was a complete waste of my time as the coffee was luke warm at best. Verging on cold. We were in too much of a rush for me to request a fresh cup as we had waited 5 minutes for the first cup. Nice outside area but no customer service to speak of.
