Delicious coffee and friendly staff!

I visit this place occasionally because I enjoy the window seats for people watching. Unfortunately, the experience falls short in other areas. The coffee is both sour and bitter, and even the hot chocolate wasn't mixed well and tasted oddly sour. The baked goods, such as the date bread, banana bread, and home baked croissants, were all dry and lacked flavor. Service was lukewarm at best.

The coffee isn’t bad. But any love derived from your morning coffee is sucked out of it by the absolute doorknob of a personality that serves it to you. She has less vitality than a mouldy dishcloth and there are too many other coffee places around to waste more life in this joy sinkhole.

Recommended coffee place. They roast their own coffee. I asked for a coffee Latte and it was great. I like the double shot as a regular offering.

Funky place, nice ambient electro music playing over the sound system to drink your coffee to. I had a flat white of the Brazil beans that were in one grinder. Full body, extremely smooth. As an Australian, I can say it's a proper flat white (I've drunk some awful attempts at other places while on this European holiday). Was perhaps a little less hot than is preferable (quite a lot of temperature headroom before the milk would scald), but on this particular day when it was over 30° outside, I was actually quite happy to drink it at that temperature. Venue looks kind of small from the front, but there's a whole back section up and over past the counter

Came here last year om business trip, this year here for holiday, purposely got a hotel nearby so that it'll be my morning ritual. Vibes are immaculate, staff are helpful, friendly, but not overbearing - calmly helpful to my questions. Plus, the two folk on team as I'm writing this were cleaning the bars and tables, chatting to regulars and their babies, having friendly chatter, just generally owning their space. Am looking forward to a week of relaxing morning brews. Also for those looking - they seem to allow laptops in some areas, other tables are no laptop zones. Oh, and the coffee is delicious. Natural Ethiopian on espresso, didn't ask about the filter but its exactly what I like in a batch brew; easily drinkable but still interesting.

Lukewarm cappucino and also almost cold "hot chocolate" unfortunately. The coffee was also very bitter or sour, certainly not the tastiest in recent times. I think two stars is not enough, but perhaps it could have been done because of... price/quality. The barista gentleman was nice and polite, that's why 3 stars.

Their quality of the coffee speaks by itself. They are experts and always offer a wide varaity of beans which are top of the line. Their service is not the best. They have some baristas very thoughtful but I also honestly experinced very transactional service which I could understand if it is peak time. In any case, if you are a coffee junkie, you must drop by!

I rarely leave reviews, but this is a hidden gem. The tea is surprisingly good.

€3.50 for an espresso. Wow, that's very expensive. But that doesn't have to be a problem for a fantastic cup of coffee, right? The Indonesian and Brazilian beans taken as espresso. Definitely not drinkable. This is a place for milk drinks such as lattes and cappucinos. Milk masks the bad coffee nicely and everyone is soon satisfied. The taste notes of the Indonesian beans were hard to find, but it was still drinkable. The Brazilian one was honestly one of the worst cups of coffee I've ever had! This is really that bad. They get an extra star for the spacious seats and the employee who at least asked if they enjoyed it. Not so, but I don't think it was her fault either

Cozy tent only €10 for such a small latte and an iced coffee full of ice cubes, that's really not possible... the iced coffee was also sour 🥲

I took advantage of the early morning opening hours and popped in for a proper coffee before breakfast at the hotel. A very nice interior, which gives you the opportunity to "sew" yourself to your island and thus enjoy your cup undisturbed. Pleasant service, with coffee on offer and a little bite to eat. For coffee enthusiasts, a wide range of locally produced beans for home experiments.

Cool place with excellent coffee!!!

Unfortunately the coffee tastes sour. Service wasn’t great either. Server didn’t smile, greet me back, or said much at all. Not even the coffee price when I had to pay (€5) or a goodbye when I thanked her before I left. I felt very odd afterwards so I won’t be coming back. Side note: there’s only oatmilk and cows milk on the menu. Not that that affects my rating :)

Veldig hyggelig opplevelse. God mat og god drikke! Hyggelige ansatte som også ordnet opp med ekstra bananbrød da det ikke var nok yoghurt. Den pressede appelsinjuicen var også veldig god!

I have deleted my positive review because I don't think you deserve this anymore. Everything has gone backwards. The coffee beans are very sour and bitter. You will be served cold coffee instead of hot. I found a mosquito in the glass of sugar. The nice baristas who knew what service meant are unfortunately gone. You new baristas just can't make coffee. In short, a disappointment.

If the cafe has 6pm as closing time, I expect to be able to order coffee when I come in 5-10 min before the shop closes. This is the second time that the coffee machine was already cleaned upon my arrival. Very disappointing. If this is normal for your shop, I suggest adding this to your description on Google Maps.

It's a nice, spacious, cozy café with friendly staff. Although the coffee is too acidic for me so I didn't like it, I haven't tried the food. I was hoping to get some work done on my laptop, but it turns out they do not have wifi and there are no wall plugs, that's a bummer. So it's a café to sit and talk, but I was hoping for more. Beware it gets busy on the weekend.

I asked for a large coffee. They gave me this small regular cup and charged €5 for this cup! It is insane and they are scammers. You can only pay with card but the maschine is not working so they do if the problem is with you and take cash money! You can better go to LOT61 dont go to this scam place!!

White label coffee has the best coffee in Baarsjes! They distribute coffee to other cafes from their own roaster such as De School. So if you're not in the area you can look for their coffee in Amsterdam! ☕️ the size of the cups is large and they have very delicious vegan buns 🌱! There is always room, the light is pleasant and you can go to work with your laptop. 👩🏻‍💻 A favorite!

Really lovely coffee and ambiance. The best oat latte that I've had in Amsterdam to date. It is a speciality coffee, which usually leans brighter and fruitier, but it was still rich and bodied even with the oat milk. The front of the cafe has more on-the-go seating, whereas there is comfier and more intimate spots in the back. Would absolutely come back here when I'm in the area.

Possibly my favorite coffee roaster in the world. Only single-origin, always delicious. Roasted to perfection for any brew-style.

Too high acidity levels for me, but my husband likes it. The worst side of their coffee is that they make it lukewarm even if I ask for extra hot. I don't even drink hot, but they really make it almost in the room temperature. I have been there for 3 times and they never seemed to listening to me. They do not make eye contact. I know now Dutch people don't like to have small talks or to smile, but they at least need to listen when I order I guess. To sum up: they are a bit rude and coffee is not hot and not that good.

Great espresso, pleasant balanced shot! Coffee beans are roasted a little too dark for my preferred filter coffee, but it is spot-on for espresso.

Place is very cozy and original, staff is very nice ! About the coffee ( I think that probably is a matter of taste ), not only one of the most expensive and smaller size that I ever tried in Amsterdam and in my life, (4.2 for very very small cappuccino) but also extremely acid and sour. Is the first time in my life that it was seriously impossible to keep drinking after one try. I don't even know how to describe the taste. Such a shame because is a very beautiful place. 💔 Again, it's maybe a matter of taste, but unfortunately for me is no. I didn't tried the food.

Very nice specialty coffee cafe, knowledgable barista. Had a nice balanced ethiopian cortado for 4 euros, which seems to be about the going rate. Interior I would describe as "comfy minimalism".

Ziet er in eerste instantie uit als een coole plek. Muziek is aangenaam Goede cappuccino (4,25€) met een wat zuurdere smaak (vond ik persoonlijk jammer ) Plakje Carrot Cake 4,75€ als surprise want er staan geen prijzen bij de kassa waar je bestelt. Erg duur gezien de hoeveelheid die je krijgt. Enfin, een hoop filosofie over hun koffie maar voor mij eigenlijk gewoon de zoveelste onpersoonlijke koffie tent met te hoge prijzen en weinig persoonlijkheid en interactie met klanten beperkt wordt tot afrekenen.

The place is decorated in a cosy nice way...It looks like the perfect spot to work a little. But guess what? They have no WiFi. There also was a lot of miscommunication about my order (one person took the order, the other brought the wrong order etc etc back and forth) But that may have been a coincidence and perhaps is not the usual way of working.

No better coffee experience in Amsterdam, perfect coffee, pastries, decor, choice of seats and comfort. Staff are lovely. We planned to visit once and came back. A must visit for coffee fans! And worth the tram trip from central Amsterdam. Can’t speak highly enough

Echt teleurgesteld. Ik had zo'n zin een lekkere cappuccino. De melk was goed, maar de espresso zo ongelofelijk zuur dat ik het zelfs na een uur nog in mijn maag voel. En op de vraag welke koffiebonen zijn gebruikt kreeg ik het antwoord Colombiaanse. Nou dat zegt nog steeds vrij weinig -,- Ook jammer dat de brievenbus in de voordeur open is, daardoor kreeg ik alleen koude lucht in mijn gezicht. Kleine moeite om het af te plakken. Leuk personeel, maar helaas 2 sterren. Hier kom ik niet meer terug.

Matige bonen (Brazil). Hoog in zuren. Kwestie van smaak? Kan. Maar niet mijn cup of koffie.
