Very good and tasty, good atmosphere and friendly staff.

Van tafel naar bar, wederom een huiselijke ambiance met gastronomische hoogstandjes…. Mijn wederhelft was stil en vergat dat zij wijn had tijdens de gebakken mosseltjes, en og ging los op de meloen met ham,…. Hoofd, boterzacht gebakken tong gebakken en saté geserveerd in 3 stokken super mals vlees vergezeld met heerlijke saté saus, ouderwets gebakken aardappel en een trio van koude salades. Bij bediening uiterst vriendelijk en aandacht voor de klant.

When entering, I was shocked by the old-fashioned interior with napkins as fans on the table, but very friendly and good service, it was busy but not too noisy and the service took time for the customer and also allowed rest between courses. The cooking skills of the chef... WOW... I have never had such a beautiful wild ende breast on my plate and the veal liver is also impressive!! 10 out of 10

Back to the time of grandma and grandpa. Delicious food and drinks in the atmosphere of the past.

If you want to eat in Alkmaar, this is highly recommended. It's not big, but it's cozy. And the food is very good. The service is also always good. All in all a good restaurant

Wat een ontzettend gaaf restaurant. Vriendelijk welkom geheten in dit 47 jaar oude familiebedrijf waar je je gelijk terug in de tijd waant, wat een ambiance. Service, eten en niet te vergeten de wijn zijn prima in orde. Verwacht geen culinaire hoogstandjes maar gewoon goed, lekker en prijs kwaliteit in juiste verhouding. Wij zijn fan… tot snel weer!

What a great fun thing this is! I sat at the bar and could see into the kitchen. I watched in amazement as the owner prepared the most delicious dishes with very little space! Everything is super fresh and delicious! I had the rabbit in the pan and it was such a delicious meal! The meat almost fell off the bone, perfectly prepared! We were 6 people and everyone had a fantastic meal! The atmosphere in the shop was also great: very casual and cozy. It is a 1 hour drive for us, but we will definitely come back here! Thank you for a great experience!

This was our second visit to the Copper Pot, the last time was a year ago. They recognized us immediately and remembered details of our previous visit. This is real hospitality! Wonderful old-fashioned menu with many delicious meat dishes. Super attentive staff and a bar to enjoy a drink after dinner: Kudos!

The food was again excellent and the entire living room atmosphere was fantastic I had sole and eel beforehand, my buddy who was celebrating his birthday, 57 years old, treated me to this The whipped cream was whipped by hand in front of me, isn't it amazing!!!🌞🦋🔥🐶 To top it all off, the dog was allowed to come along

If you really want to enjoy a delicious meal in a wonderfully cozy setting with the friendliest and most hospitable hosts, then this is definitely the place for you. Just outside the hustle and bustle of the center, you can relax here and eat and drink something from the excellent menu that won't give you a stroke. My 3 guests were extremely enthusiastic, and rightly so!

Went to the Koperen Pot again for a change. As always, customer-friendly, informal service. It is a small-scale restaurant with only a few tables and space at the bar. The menu is not really extensive, but what is on it is sufficient. Both meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. The prices are not low but the food is fantastic. Very tasty and fresh. Delicious side dishes. A reason for us to go here when we are in Alkmaar again. NB! Make a reservation. All tables are always occupied. We came by car and parked it in the Schelphoek parking garage. (dirt cheap in the evening) This modern parking garage is within walking distance

De Koperen Pot is one of my favorite restaurants. The service is excellent, the atmosphere is very cozy and the food is always delicious and not that expensive.

Heel gezellig met vrienden rond , de ronde tafel. Niet vergeten te reserveren. Vlees vis, alles te krijgen. Vegetarische niet echt gezien. Gezellige bediening. Alles goed geregeld. Je hebt er de tijd om te eten.Aanrader. Er is ruimte gecreëerd binnen.

Tonight I had a delicious bite to eat at De Koeren Pot for the first time, but certainly not for the last time. Where in Alkmaar can you find such an extensive menu with hot / cold starters, meat and fish dishes, especially stewed eel, sole in butter or sole Picasso, etc.etc. And with delicious vegetables, baked potatoes and salad, everything tastes fantastic. SUPERLATIVES fall short, including the calm and friendly service. Everything is TOP at De copper pot. If we could give an 11, it would be more than deserved. 🤗👍👊👌👏

Heerlijk eten in bruin café stijl. Weer eens wat anders. Zeer klassieke kaart maar wel goed uitgevoerd. Vriendelijke bediening. Uitgebreide keuze qua kaart. Brood met botertjes van het huis. Ik koos vis drieluik, tournedos met champignons en het kaasplankje. De tournedos was magnifiek, erg mals en perfect rare gebakken zoals gevraagd. De kaasjes staan vooraf beschreven, ruime portie. Kleine tip, misschien leuker om er een stukje vijgenbrood oid bij te serveren ipv normaal stokbrood. 3 gangen incl drankjes 55 euro pp. Gezellige plek voor een goed hapje eten.

Delicious food and very friendly staff. My two favorite dishes, both the sole and the tournedos, were on the menu. Ultimately went for the sole, which was excellent. Carpaccio as a starter is also recommended!
