We ate there on Wednesday evening. The spareribs were delicious. Everything was, actually. And the service was super friendly. And we were able to pay with our dinner voucher. That is why we went there, and because they have a super chef. We know that from experience. Kind regards, Ingrid and Jolanda.

We had a delicious meal and there was plenty of food. It was just a nice and cozy restaurant. It's a shame I don't live in the neighborhood, otherwise I would come here more often. Absolutely fantastic!!!

I had received one of those hospitality vouchers once. I could redeem it here, but that turned out not to be so simple. The owner was incredibly helpful and resolved the issue. Plus, tasty beers on tap and delicious "brown fruit." Oh, and the service staff were also very skilled. Until next time!

The food was very good, very tasty, and nicely presented. The waitresses also deserve praise, especially the one who helped us that evening. I've forgotten her name, but she does an internship during the week and works there on weekends.

We were greeted kindly during our reservation, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had bread with herb butter beforehand, but personally, I would have preferred a more neutral roll without all the seeds. We had a delicious tomato soup as a starter, and a carpaccio, the proportions of which were also good. Our main course was a bavette and a stuffed pork tenderloin, both very tasty and well-prepared. The side dishes were also sufficient. We didn't particularly like the tartelette and white chocolate mousse with Bastogne sauce, which we personally found a bit disappointing. It wasn't our dessert, but it was nicely presented and served. We will definitely be back.

Highly recommended Delicious food and friendly service

I'd called just to be sure, and that was a good thing; we could arrive early or a bit later. It's a good sign that there are many guests, and they certainly lived up to that promise. A very friendly welcome and quick service. They spontaneously offered us a break sandwich to start. Normally, you get a baguette, but this was much better! Garnished with nuts and crunchy, delicious with a little herb butter. The menu is also exceptionally good, with so many tasty dishes; I had a hard time choosing. We finally chose the stir-fried chicken breast and the goat cheese salad. Deliciously prepared and beautifully presented. The combination of flavors was also well-chosen. Finally, we had the carrot cake for dessert. Nice and firm and served with a scoop of excellent ice cream! And all for a fair price. I can highly recommend it.

We spent the weekend at Landgoed Ruwinkel, and had dinner at De Kromme Hoek. With 7 adults, 2 toddlers, and 2 babies, it was quite busy. The staff were very friendly and helpful! And the food was delicious! Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, I didn't get around to it on Saturday, so here it is: keep those fries stewing, it's a delicious dish!!! 👍😀

My husband and I were traveling from Limburg to see the musical "40-45" in Barneveld for our 41st wedding anniversary and wanted to grab a bite to eat along the way. We found this restaurant online. We hadn't made a reservation, but we managed to snag a table. The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. Highly recommended, but I would definitely make a reservation next time.

We enjoyed a delicious high wine and high beer at this restaurant this evening. The dishes paired perfectly with the accompanying wines and beers. Nothing but compliments for this restaurant.

The food was delicious, the plates looked beautiful. The atmosphere was cozy. You really get your money's worth. The service was excellent, friendly, but not overly present, and they knew exactly who had ordered what (8 people).

Eetcafé De Kromme Hoek in Scherpenzeel is Amazing en we kwamen er bij toeval terecht. Op het terras was het goed toeven en de salade met pulled chicken een aanrader. De bediening vlot en heel vriendelijk dus een heel goed idee…

Ik had een High Tea geboekt als cadeau voor mijn ouders die in de buurt van De Kromme hoek op vakantie waren. Zij hebben genoten van de heerlijke hartige en zoete hapjes, maar ook van de gastvrijheid en vriendelijkheid van het personeel. Ik raad deze eetgelegenheid zeker aan!

Top company top service deserves a big 10

Starters were delicious, fresh bread with homemade herb butter, tasty salad with chicken and carpaccio that is definitely recommended (only the sweet dressing on the lettuce is a bit strange). The main courses were not that special, a bit tasteless schnitzel and sauce (but more than enough!) and the Greek skewer was just fine. Dessert (white chocolate mousse with Bastogne) was very tasty again! It was quite busy outside and therefore a bit noisy on the terrace, service was nice, fast and very friendly.

Have De Kromme Hoek take care of the catering for a party. Food and service was great. Delicious dishes and more than enough for 50 people. Plates, cutlery, glasses, extra burners and decoration were arranged and taken care of. Compliments to the Kromme Hoek team!

Having lunch with my neighbor. Both opted for an egg dish from the extensive menu. Came to the table quickly. Looked good and tasted good too. Great to have a team that wants to provide lunch for local residents and tourists on Mondays.

Had coffee and apple pie with a large group of disabled residents of the nursing home. Great help over the thresholds and in the restaurant with extras. Residents enjoyed it very much.

Ate here last Saturday. The welcome was prompt and was friendly and cordial. We soon had something to drink, and the rest of the evening the service was friendly, attentive, prompt and attentive! It was much appreciated! In short: we had a great meal here!
