The three of us arrived on a motorcycle and sat down outside. Our table still contained the dishes of previous customers. While tables around us were being cleared, we were completely ignored. No hello, no taking of our order, nothing. After almost 20 minutes in this bizarre situation, we simply left. I've never experienced anything like it before, and I never want to again; therefore, this restaurant will be avoided in the future. Perhaps you also have something against German guests?

In 2025, we had lunch at "De Lindeboom" with a group of nine. From the reservation to the warm welcome and attentive service, right through to the heartfelt farewell, it was a thoroughly enjoyable visit. The food was delicious; there was something wonderful for everyone on the menu. Thank you for your hospitality; we'd love to come back! Update: Yesterday, we had lunch again at De Lindeboom Vlodrop, this time with five people in the lovely conservatory. As always, we felt very comfortable and enjoyed the delicious food. Many thanks to the kitchen and service staff!

A fantastic café with wonderful service and incredibly delicious cakes 🍰. We stopped in with our dog, and he was served first 😉 He received a fresh bowl of water and a little plate of treats. I've rarely experienced such kindness. If you're ever in the area, visit this café and enjoy a delicious cappuccino or coffee with a tasty slice of cake.

We enjoyed the food with 7 people; it was superb, and the service was really great too. We had reserved in advance, and upon arrival, we were already being waited on and greeted warmly by the staff. The food was great, large portions, and very tasty!!! Definitely worth repeating.

On August 7, we dined with six people at Brasserie "DE LINDEBOOM" on the Market Square in Vlodrop. As visitors to this Brasserie, we had a pleasant evening, partly due to the tasty, well-prepared food, the friendly, attentive service, and the atmospheric decor. A problem with one of the six menus was resolved adequately and to our full satisfaction. Depending on your table, the sun can limit the view of your fellow diners. Final rating: highly recommended, good value for money, friendly staff, and you immediately feel welcome and at home.

We have been customers at De Lindeboom for years; we used to eat there regularly and get takeout. Today, at the start of the holidays, we took a seat on the terrace and ordered a delicious beer. When we wanted to order food, we were informed that the person who wanted to order a special fries with a snack was no longer able to do so, while the lady next to us was enjoying fries with a frikandel. Strange policy that has led us to decide to steer clear of this chip shop in the future! As a result, the drinks ended up in the planter.

On this warm summer day, we decided to try the homemade iced tea, and that turned out to be an excellent choice. Wonderfully refreshing, full of flavor, and highly recommended! We had a lovely, atmospheric evening with the whole family of 13 people. The starter, main course, and dessert tasted exquisite; nothing was lacking. It is definitely recommended to do this there with a large group.

We had a wonderful Christmas meal at Restaurant de Lindeboom in Vlodrop. The food, service, and atmosphere are highly recommended. The only minor drawback was the beans with the deer striploin, which could have been a bit less al dente.

I regularly go there for a meal. More than enough. However, serving a HOT coffee is NOT possible. The coffee can be described as less than lukewarm. Even after 3 attempts to preheat the cup, with tea water, no real improvement. Conclusion: clean the equipment ???? or invest in new equipment. Nice location & good food & friendly service. We had a delicious meal in a relaxed atmosphere. The service is super friendly and attentive to the guests. Many dishes can be ordered in a vegetarian version. Highly recommended, especially with children.

The atmosphere and service were excellent; unfortunately, the garnish (vegetables and toppings) with the main course was cold. The extra salad we ordered lacked flavor and had too little dressing. The tenderloin was excellent. The dessert was also very tasty.

Yesterday we had a delicious meal at De Lindeboom in Vlodrop with our neighbors. We tried the recently introduced three-course menu, which was a great experience. The super friendly service and pleasant atmosphere make dining in the winter garden or the restaurant very enjoyable. We're so happy in Vlodrop to have such a restaurant with delicious dishes at a competitive price. Definitely worth returning.

Went out for lunch on a dreary Sunday afternoon. The food was delicious: a lunch platter for two: wild mushroom soup, carpaccio, and a pinsa with crispy chicken. That's a real cheer-up! Delicious!

We've been coming sporadically for years, about once a year. It's fascinating to watch the transformation from a village chip shop to a truly excellent restaurant that offers much more than just deep-fried food. The presentation is beautiful, and the seasoning is superb! Several dishes are available in vegetarian options and are clearly marked. There's also a daily menu with a three-course meal. The new conservatory is really cozy!

We had a perfect Christmas lunch! A lovely welcome, a beautifully set table, and delicious food. Fantastic! And with plenty of attention for the little ones: a small gift, a separate craft room...

We had a wonderful and cozy evening on Christmas Day. The decor was super cozy, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was fantastic! And let's not forget the super fun crew!

We sat in the conservatory, with a crackling fire and lovely Christmas decorations. We were a little pressed for time and would have appreciated slightly faster service, but the other guests certainly enjoyed the staff's friendly chat. The food was excellent and delicious, and we felt the prices were justified.

Not what we expected. Heard good things about it, so we went here for dinner, but there wasn't much meat in the dishes. The "Zuurvlees" (sour meat) was more sauce than meat. The fries were also more than anything else, and the "kapsalon" (a type of "hair salon") was a real meat eater. We wanted to try something other than steak. Next time, we'll try something different.

We had a delicious meal. We were surprised that you could also choose from game dishes and even order a whole game menu. I thoroughly enjoyed the venison steak in port sauce.

My last visit wasn't as planned. They have a different concept than before. It's a great concept with a nice menu. They've moved away from the high-end look. Of course, you still get regular fries. It's now somewhere between a high-end chip shop and a high-end restaurant.

The restaurant has a cozy conservatory. In good weather, you can also sit on the terrace. The fries are delicious, but we missed the vegetables. Unfortunately, we're seeing that in more restaurants these days. Perhaps offer the option of creating your own dishes with vegetables. Friendly staff and clean restrooms.

Friendly lady in the service, had to wait 1.5 hours for the starter, that is quite long. Food ... the schnitzel was very dry ... (schnitzel / gyros) the gyros itself does not add much, the rest of the plate was fine, sufficient fries and fresh salad. All in all a mediocre dining experience due to long duration and dry meat. Probably because they also have a take-away / delivery service that it takes too long for the lady and very young gentleman in the kitchen ... impossible to keep up ...

We were welcomed in a friendly manner and the service was warm. The "head" waitresses in particular were fantastic. The food, on the other hand, was of no more than reasonable quality. The schnitzels were overcooked (dry) and the pork tenderloin satays were really cooked far too long, a waste of the beautiful piece of meat. The salad was excellent, very diverse and very tasty. Everything was more than sufficient in quantity, but a little extra training for the chef is in order.

The schnitzel came out of the fryer fat and was....overcooked, the mushroom cream sauce was more like a very thick mushroom/chicken ragout from the store. we had not finished the food yet they asked if we wanted dessert, when we said no "can we pay now" in other words BYE. eaten for 25€ and had to wait half an hour for the food but can't say until next time. This was not worth it. no waiting time for a table after they finally found our reservation, but they wanted to let us sit inside right next to the entrance and yes I didn't feel like that (I'm not a door stopper). the weather was good I would like to sit outside where there was still a lot of space available. ALL in all, no thank you

A few years ago when we were staying nearby we had a nice meal here for the first time and a few weeks ago when we were staying nearby again we made a reservation again. Super tasty and very friendly staff. The atmosphere is very cozy in the dining room.

The food was ok, for the price. After a starter, main course, we had to wait for dessert. My husband got ice cream, unfortunately my daughter cannot tolerate soft ice cream/whipped cream. We asked for a bowl of strawberries (there was an ice cream with strawberries on the menu). The rest ordered 3 other desserts. The 3 other desserts arrived 45 minutes later (it can happen, forget it) but the worst thing I thought was that they counted the entire price of the ice cream for the bowl of strawberries. The receipt said ice cream sundae, without ice cream, without whipped cream. That was 8.50 euros for a tiny bowl of strawberries and a 45-minute wait for the rest. I would have liked to pay a few euros, but 8.50 is really outrageous. Perhaps to clarify: I asked if a separate container of strawberries was possible and said "I would be willing to pay a few euros for that". I asked if the server could come in and ask what was possible. He came back with a bowl of strawberries.

Delicious food at the Lindenboom! We really enjoyed our lunch. The onion soup was rich in flavor and perfectly seasoned. The 12 o'clock meal was also great: the soup of the day, an egg on bread and bread with croquette - all wonderfully fresh and well prepared. You can taste that we work with care and quality. Definitely recommended!
