Frozen food, vitello still soggy, tough and tasteless etc., one star because of the fries, service just bad, impersonal so not recommended

We decided to eat here on a whim. The food was delicious, and the service was very friendly. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and will definitely come back.

You can eat wonderfully here. Wide selection and everything perfectly prepared.

Stunning location with nice people and delicious food.

Ended up on the terrace at the annual family day, and had a wonderful afternoon, thanks in part to the excellent waitstaff and friendly staff!

Good bowling alley for families.

I bought a deal for one hour of bowling through Social Deal. I called to make a reservation, and a staff member said there was a lane available at 4:00 PM. When I told them I was using Social Deal, they suddenly said, "Sorry, we don't have a lane available." I think that's a real shame and unprofessional.

We dined here on Christmas Day and were thrilled with our choice. We chose the three-course Christmas menu, which we absolutely loved – the dishes were delicious! The service was very friendly and attentive, and everything went smoothly. Highly recommended!

This was our first encounter with this charming Grand Café. We had a delicious and extensive lunch. The quality was excellent, the staff friendly. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Sorry, but this isn't brunch... a luxury breakfast... no hot meat... okay, a croquette... come on... that for 25 euros... the chefs should know that too... a bit of a shame... very friendly staff though... still a success... I just had to say it...

Enjoyed a lovely lunch on Monday afternoon on the charming terrace. Delicious salads. It was great that they served a generous amount of bread with it, along with aioli and herb butter. Service was top-notch as always.

I had spare ribs that day and they were fantastic, really great. Hats off to the chef.

The food at this restaurant was truly delicious! There's a wide selection on the menu, and the desserts were also very tasty. The prices are a bit high, but the quality of the food largely makes up for it. One thing that was disappointing was the long wait; it took quite a while for the food to arrive. That was a shame, especially if you're hungry. The building also had a reasonably good bowling alley, and a nice pool table that we had a great time playing. The staff was also very friendly and created a pleasant atmosphere. All in all, highly recommended for anyone who wants a good meal and a bit of socializing!

Never eat pesto pasta because your intestines can't handle it. The pasta was swimming in pesto and oil. Even draining it didn't help. I only had a few bites. I told the waiter and they could have another one, but it would have been the same. So I didn't. Take it off the menu or do something about it. The rest of the food was good.

Ate here twice during our long weekend at Landal. Nicely decorated restaurant with terrace. Very friendly service and really delicious food! That's why we went again. The Limburg pickled meat was delicious and the fish and chips were super fresh. Delicious fries and a delicious beer fresh from the tap (on the recommendation of the waiter) (Westmalle duo), for dessert the first time a piece of fresh rice custard mmm The second time I had the crispy chicken burger and I have to say: it was really great! Highly recommended! I also took the wedges instead of fries. We enjoyed and enjoyed eating here. The only downside was that the swinging doors through which the staff moved to the kitchen were creaking a lot, perhaps something can be done about this? Furthermore, a good restaurant near your house is ideal!

Last Saturday we had a family day with 17 adults and 6 children aged 8 months to 9 years. As the review above shows, this reservation was a bull's-eye. What a pleasure, good food, great service, and a great atmosphere. We're glad we chose Grand Cafe Pimpernel; there's something for everyone.

Had a lovely meal at Christmas. Deviating from the Christmas menu was no problem if we wanted to.

Heel gezellig samenzijn met vrienden, goede en vriendelijke bediening. Niets teveel en heerlijk gegeten. Hier komen we zeker binnenkort weer.

Met ons gezelschap van 6 vrienden hebben wij een heerlijke avond doorgebracht bij Grand Café Pimpernel in Posterholt, gemeente Roerdalen. Wij hebben allemaal een ander hoofdgerecht gegeten en iedereen vond het heerlijk. Daarna hebben twee mensen nog genoten van een dessert en de anderen van koffie of thee. De bediening was erg vriendelijk en niets was hen teveel. Dus ook een volgende keer wordt het weer Pimpernel.

Vanavond om 18.00 hadden we een bowling arrangement daar zaten hapjes tijdens het bowlen bij en vervolgens top gegeten in het restaurant Glen was onze gastheer die ons in de watten heeft gelegt en oma een aangepast hoofdgerecht geven waar ze heerlijk van heeft gesmikkeld Bedankt Glen en de rest van de medewerkers voor deze top avond en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar en zeker een top aanrader Groetjes familie de Jong

We had latte macchiato and cappuccino there and delicious pie.

Uncozy restaurant and little choice

A bit hidden away you will find a beautiful brasserie at Landal Landgoed Aerwinkel; Grand Cafe Pimpernel. Here they serve tasty fresh dishes for a reasonable price. If you are lucky, you will be served by a very enthusiastic young man who seems born for the catering industry.

Picked up fries, frikandel and nuggets. Wasn't tasty.

We are staying at the park and went here for dinner. It was delicious. Friendly staff and the food was great. Spare ribs where the meat falls off the bone and was deliciously marinated. My wife had the vegetable lasagna, which was also perfect. The flavors came together well! Highly recommended!

Too bad the coffee was served too long between poses.

Gisteren hebben we lekker geluncht op het terras bij Grand Café Pimpernel. Sfeervol onder het mooie doek in de rieten stoelen. Heerlijke aspergesoep en een panini gegeten met een kop koffie. Leuk om uit te kijken op de speeltuin. De bediening is super vriendelijk en gastvrij. Een aanrader dus! Leuk om even te stoppen tijdens een fietstocht maar ook om ‘s avonds een hapje te eten! Daar hebben we ook goede ervaringen mee!

In the afternoon, after a long walk with the dog, we sat on the outdoor terrace covered with a tent canvas. Friendly service. What struck me, positively, was that smoking is allowed on the outer ring seats, outside the covered section and not under the transferred section.

The food is fantastic, the service excellent, but the atmosphere is woefully lacking.

On September 29, we had dinner in the restaurant with 5 people. The main menu tasted good, the dessert, sorbet, was of poor quality. Price/quality ratio was not in balance. (what was decisive was the €1 for a glass of tap water).

Pretty average to below average food to be quite frank. Red wine also tasted as if it had been opened days before. Can't recommend.

Our plan was to eat some fries spontaneous. Behind the bar were 3 people, the restaurant was empty but they told us without a reservation it‘s not possible to eat there. We ordered the frites to take away. Eating it on the totally empty Terrace wasn‘t possible as well. Being a bit more customer centric and flexible would be desirable.

Het restaurant heet nu "Grand cafe "de Pimpernel en is eenh onderdeel van Landal Landgoed Aerwinkel. Voor een parkrestaurant verrassend lekker. Reserveren is gewenst; zeker de dag van aankomst. Jonge, vriendelijke bediening. Zowel, vis, vlees als vegetarische maaltijden. Bij een volgen bezoek aan het park komen we zeker nog eens terug.

We enjoyed a delicious three-course dinner on Christmas Day. The service was very cordial as always. The Christmas atmosphere was everywhere, partly due to the cozy decorations. In short, a wonderful evening.

Food was good but the service was substandard. The kind of girl who showed that she didn't feel like it. Didn't really look presentable. Shame. But we will come back for the Flammkuchen. Our visit was on Monday May 16th.

We had dinner here and what great service! And what a delicious meal I had there! Will definitely go more often! Gourmet evening before in the house was also really well organized!

Had a children's party there... bowling, go-karting and air cushion... eating fries at the end... great experience!! The staff is super friendly and very helpful and cooperative!! In short, they are beautiful memories! Thanks everyone!

Good food and very attentive service. What the menu offers and what is put on the table rises above the level of other Landal parks. Unfortunately, the waiting times are absurdly long. We had to wait almost an hour and a half for our main course. Reason: Understaffing due to Corona. That is understandable in itself, but make sure you tell them when people want to sit down at the table. Then you can choose whether you want and can wait that long. Unfortunately, that was not done and only afterwards when you ask where the food is, they tell you that they are understaffed. The service is and remains friendly and really does their best. And when food is on the table it is more than good. Everything tastes good and is prepared with a lot of love. However, due to the long waiting times, we will not visit this restaurant again. Why then four out of five stars? Because of the very attentive service and the tasty food.

It took a very long time before we got food. In addition, we were no longer asked if we wanted something to drink. The food, on the other hand, was good. But some more options on the menu wouldn't go amiss.

Great place for delicious food. Large portions and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely eat there again.

Nice but not really super cozy terrace. (corona times) The nearby playground is relatively visible, depending on your position on the terrace.

Food is ready-made, service has blinders on. Tables are not cleaned and you are not asked if you want to use anything. Shame. We were here July 18-21. Pie and coffee on the terrace upon arrival. This was at half past one. When we returned after swimming and checking in around half past six, the traces of this were still visible on the table. The crumbs from the pie and the circles from the glasses had not been cleaned up. Another table has been provided with a glass of fristi with a felt pad on it all day. This has been here for at least 4 hours, without the table being in use. When we ordered our food, this was also disappointing considering the price that was asked. Ribs and chicken were ready-made, the picanha was fine, just without the fat edge that really comes with it. The beer glass I received had not been rinsed, the dried beer remains were still in it. Later in the weekend we went bowling. During the explanation we were asked if we wanted something to drink, and for the next hour we mainly looked at empty glasses. I understand that, given the small-scale design of the park, you cannot expect a complete kitchen brigade to make everything yourself, but a lot is achievable with a few small improvements. This does not necessarily mean that it will become more expensive, just the price/quality ratio must increase.

Previously accidentally suppressed with 2 stars, apologies for this. I had a great time at the Landal park. Ate and drank here several times. They also have a pick-up card. We had generous portions. The hamburger was very tasty, and the fish and chips were excellent. We got plenty of fries and a well-seasoned salad. Nothing to complain about. You will also receive a friendly welcome when you visit the terrace. The price-quality ratio is ok.

Excellent restaurant, where you are served politely. We enjoyed a burger here and my husband enjoyed ribs. The kids from other small meals. We liked it very much.
