The food was good, but the mussels were not worth the price. The pot was not full and almost three-quarters were empty shells, and unfortunately, they couldn't be found at the bottom either. I reported it twice, but nothing was done about it.

Nice place for lunch or dinner. Seating both indoors and outdoors. Nice playground for the kids with a bouncy castle.

We sat on the terrace on Saturday, August 1st; the service was very poor. We are used to something different; normally we always leave a tip, but this time we didn't because it was very bad. It is a real shame.

We had an extensive dinner here with four people on a warm Saturday evening. The terrace was full, but also atmospheric and cozy. Due to the crowds, the three courses were served slowly enough. The service was top-notch. Unfortunately, there was an issue with two of the four main courses. A thousand apologies. The staff handled this well and compensated us. As it should be.

The food is tasty, but it takes a very long time to be served. If you want to eat and leave within an hour, you have to eat somewhere else.

I just had a drink here, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. I ordered a Zundert 10 Quadrupel, but it turned out to taste completely stale and musty. After I politely pointed this out to the waiter, I was given a second bottle. Unfortunately, this had exactly the same problem. Although the waiter removed the second bottle from the bill, I still had to pay for the first undrinkable beer. I find that very unfortunate and not good hospitality service. If a product is demonstrably faulty, the guest should not have to bear the cost. Especially since the brewery is practically around the corner, you should expect better quality and service here.

Really nice place with good atmosphere. Food is tasty and served nicely. You can go there for great dinner with whole family but for beer or drink either. I fully recommend 👌

A nostalgic experience, just as I remember it from my childhood. A bit more modern, but still the same feeling as back then. The playground is a bit smaller, but still provides the same experience. The food was amazing, and for lunch, no restaurant can match it. The atmosphere was good, and so was the service. But above all, the food and the desserts were simply delicious. Highly recommended as a lunch or dining spot. Also a lovely stopover while cycling or walking.

Went with the family for a High Tea. I am lactose intolerant and got my own food and it tasted great. This is rare for food alternatives. Absolutely wonderful service. No complaints. Would really like to return!

We were helped promptly upon arrival, and our order was taken quickly. It was very quiet here, so you'd expect attention to be paid to the food. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed. It wasn't bad, but not recommended either, which is a shame. It's a nice place, though.

My main course was mussels cooked in white wine. Unfortunately, the mussels were overcooked. I was given a new portion upon request, and they were excellent. My partner had a mixed grill, which was also delicious. There were plenty of dessert options. We had a wonderful meal and a wonderful evening.

Had mussels and fries. The mussels were second or third choice. Small, mussel meat of all different colors, not all open, and the cooked leek was still on top—bland.

We enjoyed a delicious 4-course high tea between 1 and 4 pm. It was truly relaxing, enjoying the delicious food in peace. We'll definitely be back this summer. We'll be bringing the dog too, because there's a 3km trail. This was our second visit, and this time we brought the dog. So, first we went for a walk in the woods. That was also beautiful. We enjoyed high tea on the terrace again. It was delicious again, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend it.

You can enjoy a delicious meal here. It's just a shame about the wasps in the summer. The solution is to eat inside.

This was a stop we chose for lunch after visiting the Vincent Van Gogh museum. It’s about 6 min drive away. We had no booking but they were able to accommodate us outside. The staff were really attentive and friendly. Between us we had mussels, lobster soup, schnitzel, ribeye steak and ribs. The portions were very generous (something we’ve noticed across the Netherlands). More importantly it tasted delicious. The lobster soup was divine. As was the steak. Their desserts mainly consisted of ice cream but there was lemon cheesecake, brownie and apple pie. Again a culinary taste sensation. As non Dutch speaking travellers we had little difficulty communicating with staff and they were all super friendly. I’d 100% recommend this restaurant if you’re close by looking for a spot to eat. Oh they also have a small playground which kept our 2 entertained whilst we waited.

Very stingy, and the worst cook (if it is a cook) that Brabant is rich in. It will not be long before this cook is replaced.

The hot food from the buffet was not very hot but that was probably because it was prepared at the same time as the cold section. So if you started with the cold section first and then with the hot section, it had already cooled down a lot and was not replenished in time which was a shame. Dessert was very good

The food itself is ok, but very "scarce" with the accompanying fries, salad and bread, 1 really small bowl of salad for 4 people, a bowl that you could at least expect at least per person, also 1 bowl of fries for 4 people that is really far too little, the bread accompanying the salad was not served, with the chosen main course actually a large bare plate with practically only the ordered piece of meat/fish and a few small shreds of cooked vegetables, the monthly dessert menu that was very nicely announced turned out to be far too small a "snack", while we are really not big eaters, we ordered coffee/tea last, which is always nice if it comes with a cookie or chocolate or something like that, but that is also not possible at the moment, which is a shame, we have been here more than once in recent years, but this last time was really disappointing due to all the frugality/frugality..

Echt slecht eten, lange wachttijden, echt heel onbeschoft personeel. We hadden voor 13.00 uur gereserveerd voor een high tea, om kwart voor twee toch maar vragen,waar alles bleef. Om half vier hadden we nog niet alles gehad, kwamen ook niet vragen of je nog thee wilde. Personeel deed echt onbeschoft antwoord geven. Geen aanrader !

Delicious food. Unfortunately something went wrong with the waffle, it was baked for too long, making it very hard. When I pointed this out to the waiter, they apologized and the dish was immediately taken back to the kitchen. Within 2 minutes a new, perfect waffle was made with apologies again. To make a mistake is human and if it is resolved this way, perfect. Great solution! We'll be back soon.

What an unexpected pearl on the main road near Zundert/Rucphen😁 Very nice, friendly service and a wonderful 12 hours, me and my sister had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was informal and really old-fashioned. Extensive menu with something for everyone. I say do it! 🌷🌷
