What a beautiful and cozy location, although I visit Urk very regularly, it was my first time there, I was positively surprised that I had not known it before. Very cool

Had a delicious meal yesterday, including the tenderloin and steak strips. Everything is homemade and you can taste it. Very friendly team.

Had a delicious lunch at the Old Bakery. Very friendly staff and a pleasant environment. They also have delicious pastries to go with coffee. When we are in Urk we will definitely visit there!

Heerlijke bak koffie met super gebak, personeel is erg vriendelijk en daardoor is er erg plezierige sfeer in het restaurant

Wij gaan vaker lunchen bij de oude bakkerij en dan is de prijs kwaliteit verhouding super. Nu eens ervoor gekozen te dineren, super kwaliteit maar wel erg dure rekening. Heel verschil met de lunch waar dit wel mooi in verhouding is. Zou eerder voor het diner een ander restaurant kiezen op Urk volgende keer. Verder wel lekker gegeten!

A nice cozy place in the middle of the old village center of Urk. A nice place for breakfast, lunch or just a cup of coffee. We had lunch there and the food was delicious. Highly recommended if you visit Urk.

Today we stopped at De Oude Bakkerij and enjoyed a delicious lunch with 7 people. Luckily we had booked in advance because we didn't want to be disappointed after a drive from Rotterdam. Everything was neatly organized and even though we arrived half an hour earlier than planned, this was no problem. The cappuccino was GREAT! We also had the pancake, pita Mexican minced meat, wrap with egg, bread with croquettes and everything was equally tasty. The ladies at the counter are all equally friendly. After lunch I couldn't resist the temptation of the bakery and brought along delicious pastries. My compliments!! It's a shame that it's not just next door for us. On the other hand, maybe it's a good thing with all those delicacies 😂

There was no room...that's fine. But why communicate that in a grumpy way...terrible. No good morning, no goodbye. No success

Due to a mistake we had to wait over an hour for our food, but this was made up for by free ice cream sundaes afterwards.

A nice coffee in the small fishing village. Very friendly staff and the food is good too. Even the coffee was acceptable. This is not the case in most bakeries due to the fully automatic coffee machines. However, the town itself is very quiet. A matter of taste 😁

Something had fallen in the kitchen, yes, shards are good luck, but 1 waitress was very moody because of this and also very unfriendly, which is a pity because this is not very inviting to come back again.

Enjoy yourself in 'The old bakery' in Urk. A delicious breakfast, super tasty coffee, fresh pastries, extensive lunch and of course a beautiful dinner menu.

We could sit outside, the cars driving past were a bit disturbing.

For the first time in urk we came to the old bakery. Bought 2 moor heads and 2 almond croissants, delicious!! And we were kindly allowed to go to the toilet at the back. But pastries are definitely recommended!!!!

Positive : -Cozy Dutch atmosphere ❤️ -The food is perfect, delicious and also designed nicely. -They serve the tea in a very cute way, there will be a tray with 6 different flavours on your table, you can chose yourself which flavours you would like to have or even mix . -There is a small fridge on entrance that you can chose your freshly made dessert, which they look amazing and taste very good . -there is a kids menu so do not hesitate to enjoy a meal there with your family Negative : - the interior design could be a bit brighter as the windows are small and inside is designed with dark colours it can be a little bit uncomfortable for some people having while having lunch - have been there couple of times and 2 times ordered the same food but it was not cooked in the exact same way or looked the same( but any way tasted very well which matters the most ) - have ordered soup with my lunch but they forgot to bring it before and when i asked I’ve been told they sometimes serve it after main meal which i think doesn’t make any sense

Super Great! We chanced upon finding the bakery and were instantly warmed up by their hospitality and great food. We had a variety of pastries to bring home and try, and we were not at all disappointed! Very quaint and well-priced local bakery.

Brood en gebak in de bakkerij top. ontbijten in het restaurant heerlijk en het dineren ook erg lkkr, buik meer dan vol en dat voor een top prijsje. We worden altijd super vriendelijk geholpen.

Well known cozy bakery and coffeeshop with savoury and sweet treats. It is advisable to come early, the café was at 10 o clock full, and that on a Tuesday morning. We had an elaborate breakfast with a very tasty omelette and some bacon, fresh orange juice, some lovely joghurt with again fresh fruit (no additional sugar 🙏) and a generous selection of bread with jam, cheese, ham and smoked chicken breast. For us it was more like a brunch with a very good reason to go for a long walk on the dam. Very friendly service too

Heerlijk ontbijt gehad, super compleet (broodjes, beleg, ei, koffie, drankje) en erg vriendelijk. Leuke gezellige locatie!

Vanmorgen met zijn 2en het ontbijt gegeten welke je wel moet reserveren. Uitgebreid en vers ontbijt was erg lekker (wat je niet opkrijgt mag je meenemen). De dames en heren die er werken waren ook alleraardigst. Zou er zeker nog een keer eten. a la carte menu is er ook.

Heel goed en eindelijk eens goede hete cappuccino! Je zit er gezellig met verse broodjes! Echt top! Vriendelijke mensen en Kom hier echt weer terug!!

Mooi schone gezellige plek. Zowel buiten als binnen. Aardige bediening die begrijpt wat je wilt. Ze zijn ook vlot, ook als het druk is. Eten was heel lekker!

Je kan er lekker eten voor een redelijke prijs maar wat een waardeloze bediening.. na een half uur maar naar binnen gelopen of we koffie met gebak konden krijgen.. wij zouden wel een tweede bakkie lustten maar er kwam geen bediening..

Personale molto cordiale e prodotti molto buoni. Abbiamo preso dei croissant e del pane spendendo solo 3,60€. Consigliatissimo. La foto è dei dolci nella vetrina, sembrano deliziosi, non li ho potuti prendere perché ho delle allergie.

Total nett und super Essen. Wir hatten den Chicken Burger, der war wirklich sehr gut! Bedienung extrem angenehm, zuvorkommend und herzlich. Gerne wieder!

Sehr leckeres, total üppiges Frühstück, guter Kaffee. Sogar der Keks zum Hafer-Cappucchino schmeckt besonders gut. Draußen sitzt man total schön in der Sonne oder im Schatten. Drinnen gibt es unfassbar appetitlich aussehende süße Patisserie-Teilchchen. Service sogar für niederländische Verhältnisse auffallend nett, Bedienung spricht sehr gutes Englisch. Absolute Empfehlung!

Deze oude bakkerij is een geweldige plek voor een high tea. Afspraken maken via e-mail ging gemakkelijk en aanpassingen waren geen probleem. De locatie is niet groot, maar groot genoeg voor ons gezelschap van 9 personen. Genoten van een heerlijke high tea met sandwiches, gebakjes, scones en bonbons! Een aanrader!

Na een kwartier buiten te hebben gezeten, ben ik naar naar binnen gegaan om onze bestelling te plaatsen, vervolgens kwam er, weer een kwartier later, een serveerster aan die vroeg wat we wilden drinken. Waste of time!

Sehr lecker, sehr gute Portionen, vernünftige Preise. Extrawünsche sind auch kein Problem. Auf deutsch, englisch und niederländisch bestellt bei überaus freundlichem Personal. Dazu noch ein nettes Ambiente, inklusive der sanitären Einrichtungen. Ein echter Geheimtipp! Wir waren für 75 Euro so satt (inkl. Wein, Bier, Kaffee, Schnaps), dass wir uns die Reste einpacken ließen. Sehr toller Abend!
