Yesterday I had a pancake in Buren, a nice restaurant, and it was delicious. But the prices were so high, I knew it, because it's on the menu. Very nice location and friendly service.

It was great a few years ago. We happened to be in the area and thought we'd grab a delicious pancake. It was quiet, the patio was empty except for two tables, but we were rudely turned away because we didn't have a reservation. (There were only two of us.)

We had a great pancake. We were able to sit outside in a nice, sheltered spot. The staff were friendly, and everything was neat and clean. The surroundings were beautiful.

I would have given it 5 stars because it's such a unique location. Buren is truly wonderful to visit. The village has been beautifully renovated. It's like an open-air museum. The pancake was also really delicious, as was the eggnog sundae. But I'm giving it 4 stars because at checkout I was charged €2 for lemonade? Even though we asked for tap water. This should be free and wasn't indicated when ordering! I think that's a shame.

We ate there yesterday after a day at Ouwehands Zoo. It was on our way. The restaurant is super cozy, the pancakes are delicious, and the service is good. The tokens for the kids are also great! The only downside: the pancakes were spread out. The last one didn't arrive until the first one had already finished theirs. That wasn't very pleasant.

They live up to their name. It took a very long time to get a menu. People who arrived later than us were served first. It wasn't that we weren't in plain sight. The pancakes are dry/floury and, compared to other pancake restaurants, on the pricey side. Seven colas and three pancakes cost us 80 euros.

During our podcast walk about "The Story of the Netherlands," we passed this location. The exterior was inviting. Since we needed coffee, we took a seat on the terrace. Almost immediately, an extremely friendly waiter came to take our order. We ordered two coffees and pastries. The service was fast, and the dishes arrived promptly. Friendliness, prompt service, and delicious food are the hallmarks of this establishment.

We walked the beautiful Klompenpad trail near Buren. The Pancake Baker is located at the start. There's a lovely terrace and we enjoyed a delicious waffle with a good cappuccino. After the walk, we had pancakes. There was a huge selection, though quite expensive, and they tasted good. They were served by young women; one was friendly and attentive, while the other preferred to be somewhere else.

Break bread and herb butter first, followed by a pancake with bacon, cheese, and onion. The pancake was good, but a bit too much cheese, which made it overpowering.

Despite the crowd, we were served four different pancakes simultaneously. All were equally delicious. Friendly staff and a nice location.

Delicious, fluffy pancakes and cappuccino (in a rather small cup, but still good). Serving whipped cream and syrup in a shot glass is unnecessary. It's better to ask if this is acceptable to avoid food waste.

It was wonderful, and Buren is such a lovely town. If you're looking for a fun and delicious pancake restaurant with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, you'll definitely find it here. Parking is easy, and it's a great way to stroll through Buren after dinner. This restaurant deserves a 10 out of 10!

It's a good thing we don't live nearby, otherwise I'd be a regular! Now we were close by, so we returned. Delicious pancakes, something for everyone. And they served a delicious liqueur with the coffee. As a non-smoker, I appreciate that there's a separate terrace for smokers.

The pancakes themselves were very tasty. We chose one with salmon, brie and spinach - great. And the other with salami, cheese and tomatoes. Also very good. Only quite expensive because one was 22.50e and the other 18.50e. Tomato soup for children served in a cup. Not very good. The service could be more interested in their work. There were only a few guests in the restaurant. We waited a long time for the menu cards to be served until we called the waitress ourselves. The dishes came quickly. When we wanted to pay, the waitress disappeared again. We called another one again. We probably won't come back. Maybe in a different location the staff focuses more on the guests.

Unfortunately, the pancake I ordered was not tasty. It had little flavor and was too thick. Instead of powdered sugar, which was requested in advance, the pancake was sprinkled with cinnamon sugar (?). The bananas that were used were tasteless... perhaps not ripe enough. We were also assigned a table on the smokers' terrace, which we are not... My glass also turned out to be broken, I actually did not notice this, I only saw this after paying.

Yesterday I sat down on the terrace here. Friendly service, good location. Drinks brought with a smile. But..... ordered poffertjes:-( They are really inedible and only good to throw in the trash. The staff admitted that these are ready-made and not freshly made. I was just looking through the reviews, this was also described in the reviews 5! years ago and many times after that. If you as a pancake house dare to serve this so shamelessly for years, you are no longer worth a visit! It is disgraceful!

De Pannekoekenbakker has branches throughout the Netherlands. Today, we were in Buren with a group of 10 people. The extensive menu offers the right pancake for everyone. From sweet to savory, there's something for everyone. The staff is friendly and attentive. There's also a German and English menu.

Poffertjes are very dry and can be compared to the ready-made poffertjes from the supermarket. The pancake was not well done. Previously, I really didn't like the pancakes (well done at the time). In terms of taste, these can also be compared to the pancakes from the supermarket. In short, come for the soup and a drink and ignore the pancakes and poffertjes.

Coffee and service okay, we think poffertjes were dumped out of a bag, warmed up in the microwave until lukewarm, Add a knob of cold butter, butter should melt nicely on the poffertjes, and a little icing sugar. Exit. Maybe a good pancake bakery, which is also possible for the prices charged, but this is not a poffertjes bakery.

I was still a little disappointed. The pancake was quite tasteless, the bacon was not well done and the cheese was quite 'soft'. The distinct taste of the goat cheese was also insignificant and the apple could hardly be tasted. The service also took a long time, all in all a disappointing experience. I expected a bit more from it.

This pancake bakery restaurant in Buren is highly recommended for me and my girlfriend, everything is neat and well taken care of, you just have to ask and they take certain allergies into account and they adjust it neatly. I will definitely come back and my girlfriend too, really delicious pancakes and plenty of choice with the large menu they provide.

I had been to the pancake bakery before, but at other locations. Here it was pretty much the same except that all the branches look different. The menu is the same and the taste of the dishes is almost the same. Most of us went for a pancake. Well, they don't really have anything other than pancakes (pancake restaurants often still have fries and a schnitzel on the menu), but because my sister doesn't like pancakes, she went for a patty and a carpaccio salad. There were also rolls with herb butter so that was more than enough for a main meal (they were actually starters). The pancakes are also big enough that you won't be hungry afterwards. My father couldn't even finish his pancake. Because there are so many delicious desserts on the menu, we decided to share a dessert even though we were already full. You can also order a combination pancake that contains both sweet and savory. I think that's a really good idea! Unfortunately there was only a limited choice. Unfortunately, the brie salmon with raspberries was not included. The menu on the site does not match the menu in the restaurant, so that is a bit inconvenient. They also have a separate menu that is more intended for people who come by in the afternoon (also pastries, waffles and ice cream), but that is not on the main menu. Like the waffles, which you will only find on the afternoon menu. I think it would be useful if all the cards match. Because we only had a short time, because we were on our way to a performance, we indicated this. That was no problem and we got the pancakes very quickly. There was even time for dessert. That also came very quickly. So the service is excellent! Legend: 1) Terrible! I don't recommend it, I will never come back! 2) Too bad, below my expectations, I won't come again. 3) Ok, nothing wrong with that, but nothing special, nice for once. 4) Fine, worth coming back. 5) Excellent! Ik heb afgelopen weekend hier geluncht met mijn vriendin, het was lang geleden dat ik hier voor het laatst was geweest maar het was weer even gezellig en lekker als eerdere keren. Wat een enorme keus in soorten pannenkoeken, zoet enhartig, zo veel keus. We bestelden een droge witte wijn, veel keus daarin is er niet, het is of droge of zoete witte wijn. Maar prima hoor, het belangrijjste is de pannenkoek. Mijn vriendin wilde een hartige pannenkoek met kaas, uien en paprika. Ik bestelde een appel-rozijnen pannenkoeken met los daarbij warme chocoladesaus. De bestelling werd vlot gebracht en zag er prima uit, ze smaakten ook heerlijk al viel de warme chocoladesaus tegen, veel te dun jammer genoeg. Nog een kopje koffie toe. Al etend hebben we weer lekker bij kunnen praten, ik denk dat onze volgende lunchafspraak ook hier zal zijn !

The tastiest pancakes in the area.

Quite nice atmosphere and a very traditional place to taste de pannekoek. They have got a quite different type of pannekoek for all the tastes. The menu includes soups, etc...Perfect to have a chill evening. The pannekoek I had, with speck en kaas (speck and cheese), was well cooked, crunchy and very tasteful. Quality/price very good. Another genial thing they have are the coins for kids. So if the kids order their kids menu, they can get coins. With these coins they can for example purchase a toy in the shop they have. You can accumulate them if you go multiple times too. Foe sure a restaurant to visit if you step by this place. Suggested! 👍
