During our stay on the Eiland van Maurik, we dined at Eleny's, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice! From the moment we walked in, we felt the warm, Greek hospitality. The service was incredibly friendly, attentive, and really took the time to explain everything. The food was fantastic – fresh, flavorful, and authentic. The gyros was perfectly seasoned, the moussaka tender and full of flavor, and the tzatziki just as it should be: fresh and creamy. The mixed grill is an absolute must-try for those who want a bit of everything. Every dish arrived beautifully presented and piping hot. The atmosphere at Eleny's is cozy and inviting. With the Greek music playing in the background and the charming interior, it truly feels like you're on vacation in Greece. On warm days, you can also sit outside – perfect after a day by the water on the Eiland van Maurik. In short: Eleny's is an absolute must-visit if you're near the Eiland van Maurik. We waited a long time for food. We were asked if we wanted bread, and were given bread with various dips. 14.95, hefty but tasty. The beer quantity was less than advertised. When we pointed this out, they just laughed. Santorini plate 28.50 extra, sauce 3.50, mayo 1.20, and Greek pasta 19.50. Hefty prices

I ordered food online, where you can specify a pickup time. When I arrived at that time, I was told, without hesitation, that my order had been delayed by 45 minutes. No explanation. There was no one in the kitchen. They must have sent an email, but I was already on my way. It's polite to call in advance. Such a shame, we won't be ordering from them again.

I'll never order from here again.

Good food but the delivery was a disaster! Called twice because we didn't hear anything ourselves. It took 75 minutes after ordering until the first delivery time. Of course this is possible on Saturday evening but then again 75 minutes too late!! And then you pay 7.50 delivery costs. Recommended for food but perhaps pick-up is a better option. Got the food the second time and this worked a lot better and a lot cheaper than €7.50 delivery;)

Once again we had a delicious meal at this restaurant. This is a top restaurant on the Marktplein in Maurik. Perfect Greek food with a wonderful taste experience. Great service with nice staff. If you are staying on Maurik Island, look no further and have a delicious meal at the Greek restaurant on the Market Square in Maurik; parking for free in front of the door. Really a recommendation; go enjoy! Don't complain about the delivery time of the order; go eat here yourself in the restaurant ... a 10 for us!!!

Ordered via Thuisbezorgd.nl 5:55 PM delivery time, it was supposed to be delivered 45 minutes later at 7:48 PM but was called to find out where the food was. I had several people on the phone. Was supposed to be delivered at 8:20 p.m., but that wasn't the case! I think the service is very bad. And then you are treated rudely because you are a whiner. Now 8:35 PM

This is truly a gem that you will not find in the larger villages and towns in the distant area. Service is simply top notch, just like the deliciously prepared food. A delicious Greek beer also goes very well. After several disappointments during the search for a good Greek restaurant, we finally ended up here; We have found our new spot. Well, if you ever want to know what it's like to slowly age while waiting for a Greek meal, you should definitely order from Eleny's. We waited for over two hours – and believe me, that was enough time to become not only hungry, but also mildly philosophical. The longer we waited, the more we wondered if maybe Eleny's was trying to make us experience what it feels like to undertake a heroic Greek quest ourselves... but to the kitchen. When the food finally arrived we felt like we had just run a marathon. The fries, meanwhile, already had the texture of ancient papyrus rolls and the gyros looked as if he had personally made the journey from Troy to here. Even the tzatziki had lost its meaning in life. So, if you're looking to eat something *now*, try another place. But if you want the full Greek experience – including epic wait time and a good dose of patience – then Eleny's is your new favorite restaurant.

Ordered online again. Now we had to call for the 2nd time to ask how our order was going. (Half an hour after expected delivery time) It was looked at and reported that it would arrive with the delivery person in 5 minutes. It turned out that the delivery person only left after 15 minutes. An apology was made that the call should have been made. To this I only replied that this was not the first time. The immediate response was that I am not going to argue (very irritated tone from Cor). The food was finally delivered 45 minutes after expected delivery time.

Ate here for the first time last night and it was so delicious!! We couldn't remember the last time we had a really nice meal at a Greek restaurant - always too salty and too dry. But that is not the case with Elenys, on the contrary! The meat and poultry from the mixed grill were wonderfully tender, everything had its own flavor and was nicely seasoned, fries were crispy, portions were generous, we ordered a delicious Greek salad for 2. And even though we were full, we still shared a dessert and didn't regret it at all; various small Greek after dishes. Top! The atmosphere is cozy and cozy, the restaurant is clean and the staff is extremely friendly. We will definitely come back soon!

Super tasty food! Shrimp in tomato sauce very tasty, tzatziki was great and the meat had a wonderful (authentic) taste! Service was top notch: children were immediately given crayons & a coloring book, so the wait was peaceful. Atmosphere -1 star: the restaurant does not really have a Greek atmosphere in terms of decor, but the music does! Highly recommended if you are in the area :)

Absoluut een aanrader! Gelegen op een gezellig plein in het midden van Maurik. De bediening is ontzettend aardig en er is zeker ook ruimte voor een praatje en gezelligheid. Het eten wat over was hebben we mee naar huis gekregen en daar de volgende dag nog van genoten.

We vonden dat we erg lang moesten wachten terwijl er bijna niemand was. Het eten was matig en alles was best wel zout. Wat we slecht vonden is dat ze vragen “zal ik wat saus neerzetten” en vervolgens voor 28 euro saus op je tafel zetten (2 champignon en 2 peper) die zo de kliko in kunnen omdat het veel ste veel is aan saus. Voor ons nooit meer.

WE love Cor !! Heerlijke vent gewoon net zoals wij zijn. Het eten was veel !! voor ons TE veel en we kregen het lekker mee naar huis. Daar hebben we het de volgende dag lekker nog gegeten. Blijf zoals jullie zijn !! een dikke 9+ van ons Ada van de de bruid van ham.

You can't get rid of bread.. 7.50 for 6 pieces of bread.. if you ask for a little extra bread you literally get 3 pieces at a table of 7 people. A paste that looks like puke. My dog ​​will leave it alone. NEVER AGAIN! If there are no vegetables with your food... 2 small bowls of fries for 7 people. In the end they did charge half of the luxury board... but one more tip if you want to eat here.
