The Peizer Hopbel. Friendly welcome. Coats were duly accepted. The service is friendly, helpful and professional. Our party, 4 adults. We went for the 4 course surprise menu. 45 Euro excluding drinks. We rate the food as 3 stars. Reason: not the taste, it was simply excellent. The portioning: The main course in particular is definitely too poor. An excellent piece of meat, however, without attachments. So price quantity is insufficient. We made this known and were advised to report this as an extra next time. We also thought the dessert was on the “meager” side. Conclusion: The Hopbel does not come first in our top ten.

Nice restaurant in Peize where we regularly come for lunch. Fortunately, there is always a spot for us. The menu is not too extensive, which prevents choice stress. My favorites there are the Flammkuchen, a kind of pizza. There is also a vegetarian version.

Enjoyed a delicious starter, main course and dessert. Service was very friendly and familiar with the dishes. Not only the explanation of dishes but also the payment. A tap was not necessary. Everyone in our group could pay personally.

Delicious dinner with a group of 11 people. We sat in the separate room, which was very nice after the cremation. The waiter came by regularly. We were there for more than three hours. Everyone enjoyed the various starters, mains and desserts.

Yesterday we enjoyed wine and dinner based on BBQ dishes from 4 p.m. We had a fantastic evening. Five delicious courses with matching wines, pleasant live music in the background and excellent service. Wine and dinners are always excellent, and this one was. Too bad there weren't that many participants. Maybe a little more publicity next time?

What a wonderful staff! Very kind and good advice and thoughts regarding my cow's milk and cucumber allergy. We felt completely pampered. Nicely decorated, clean and relaxed atmosphere.

Absolutely recommended! We recently had a fantastic experience at restaurant De Peizer Hopbel. From a good children's pizza Margarita for only €5 to the tasty children's fish with fries, every dish was a hit. The Surf and Turf and asparagus were well prepared and flavorful, and the desserts were not only tasty but also generous in portion. The menu offers a nice variety so there is something for everyone. The service was friendly, attentive and quick - everything you hope to find in a restaurant. The setting completes the picture: sitting under the trees on the grass or on a stylish stone terrace, with equally comfortable seating inside for the colder days (they also have seat heaters). A fantastic playground for the kids. With reasonable prices for excellent dishes, De Peizer Hopbel proves that fantastic food does not have to be expensive. A perfect place for both families and couples. Don't miss this gem!

-Bij het aperitief ging al mis, ik had brood (voor 2) en de proeverij (voor 2) besteld om met z'n 4 te delen maar de soep van de mannen kwam tegelijk mee, was echt niet handig. Het gaf ons het gevoel dat we snel moesten eten. -Mijn ladysteak was koud en te ver gebakken, ik had medium gevraagd. -Zorg dat bij 4 pers genoeg friet staat bij de eerste rond, zet 2 schalen neer, 1 is niet genoeg, hebben we natuurlijk extra gevraagd maar kregen die toen onze borden leeg waren, veel te laat. -Zorg dat op de sla al wat dressing staat en dat je nog een scheut doe voor de garnering kan maar in dat kleine bakje aan tafel mengen, is niet handig, hebben we niet gedaan met als gevolg dat we "rauw" sla hebben gegeten, was niet lekker. -Zorg dat de stokjes van de munten thee omlaag staan, klant willen geen stokjes in hun neus en het staat fraaier. -Zorg dat er een handdoek boven de vieze afwasbak ligt als iemand het van een kamer naar de andere moet brengen. Ik ging net naar de wc toen ik dat zag, was geen fraai gezicht. Smaakbeleving: In het algemeen, lekker maar het maakte mijn hart niet zingen. Ik vond de frieten echt niet lekker, smaakt van de olie en te hard gebakken. Tip: kies wat dikkere frieten Persoonlijk had ik witte chocoladedoom lekkerder gevonden bij limoncello ijs. Pluspunten: - Je kwam vaak (maar ook niet te vaak) aan tafel om te vragen of het naar de zin was. We hebben voldoende te drinken gehad. -De zeep in de wc is lekker fris -De vriendelijkheid van iedereen (wel dat ze haast hadden) -De stoelen zitten echt lekker -Alles is goed schoon Of ik terug zal komen, denk ik niet maar wie weet!

Loved it! Because of some house-related stress I forgot to mention my intolerances (gluten/lactose), but because I mentioned them on the reservation one off the staff came to ask me about them. First time I ever had this happen to me, so definitely 5 star worthy! Also loved the food, I was well instructed on what I could/could not eat. Only downside was that the service was sometimes a bit slow, but with my intolerances and almost every restaurant being short staffed it did not bother me. We will definitely return!

De locatie had een fijne sfeer, behalve de acoustic is beneden de maat. We zaten met mensen op leeftijd en konden elkaar soms moeilijk verstaan. De menu keuze is minimaal, ik miste vooral een vegetarisch menu. Bij een van de vrienden was het eten lauw, na melding werd er geen actie ondernomen. Kortom algeheel was teleurstellend!

The manager was not present at the time, but he called later with an apology, text and explanation and an offer for a follow-up visit. I appreciate this way of working and communicating. Nicely resolved.

I'm visiting from Canada, and I wanted to take my Dutch family somewhere nice. My brother-in-law Jan recommended De Peizer Hopbel. We had the surf and turf, and my sister had the surf and turf salad. We shared the appetizer platter, and I had a variety of beers and my sister had wine. Everything was fantastic. The service was spectacular. The young lady serving us was very attentive and checked on us often without being obtrusive. Thank you for a lovely evening. Prices were very reasonable.

Had a delicious meal at the Peizer Hopbel! Our diets (gluten-free or lactose-free) were no problem and the kitchen itself came up with good adjustments/replacements. Very friendly service, cozy, attractive environment. We will definitely come back!

On a Saturday evening we were able to celebrate a birthday party in a beautiful room, with great service and delicious food! All guests at the party expressed how much they liked the location, how delicious the food was and how nice the staff is! They take all the time for the customer and if there was something someone did not like, there was another option. Well deserved 5 stars on every level.

This attractive and cozy restaurant is located in the center of Peize in a beautiful old farm. Service is very attentive, hospitable and helpful. In addition to a menu with beautiful dishes, they also have various good wines and special beers (including locally brewed ones). The carpaccio that I ordered as a starter was good, but the rib roast that I had as a main course was truly excellent (combination with the garnish). Rarely have I had such a tasty meat dish.

We kozen voor een proeverij van voorgerechten en daarna een shared dining. Je moet wel even de tijd nemen om al dit heerlijks op te peuzelen. Een rijk palet van heel erg lekkere gerechten. Goed klaargemaakt en prachtig opgediend op een houten plank. Complimenten aan de kok die dit op de kaart heeft gezet. Groeten van twee heel tevreden klanten.

Red wine sauce with lamb from a package of lamb (unworthy of a restaurant) also no lamb flavor. Fries even worse than cafeteria. Hamburger too salty and not tasty. Burgundian ham very black. carrots too hard. An order is even forgotten. And when commenting on how the food is, the guest is not listened to properly. The quality is in stark contrast to a few years ago before Corona. Price-quality ratio is hard to find

Lovely place in the middle of the village of Peize where you can sit indoors and outdoors. Good coffee, tasty snacks, great atmosphere and nice service. There is a playground for the children.

We ordered the asparagus with salmon. The salmon was really raw on the inside and not tasty. We did get a new piece that tasted much better and was cooked. We had to wait a while for that. So I ate the asparagus first otherwise it would get cold. The experience of the food was therefore a lot less. The asparagus also still had quite hard pieces at the end. These were also undercooked or not cut short enough. For almost 25 euros for this dish, that was a downer. The curry soup was delicious as were the other side dishes. Service was friendly except for 1 waiter who seemed a bit surly.

Had a great lunch there today with friends. Only very disappointed that it was not possible to use a "Dinner Voucher" at checkout, while it was clearly indicated when booking and the person on the phone had even inquired, confirming that this was possible. For security reasons, I had made the type of voucher known and De Peizer Hopbel is also on the list of restaurants affiliated with "Dinerbon". So a missed opportunity.

I am quite critical and don't like going out to eat because it is often not worth it for me. And then as a town resident you go to Peize and the food turns out to be great! The surf and turf is highly recommended, respect for the brilliant chef(s)!

The food is very tasty and of good quality. It also looks beautiful on your plate. Service is quiet, but smooth and friendly. Only the 4 of us sat at a small round table in the middle of the restaurant. The table was just too small for us. It was always sliding and moving bowls and plates. Instead of enjoying the delicious food, you are busy trying not to take things off the table. But knowing this, we will ask for a larger table for our next reservation :) Also very nice that dogs are allowed!!
