Vegetarian food here isn't worth a star.

Had a lovely lunch here yesterday. Best 12 o'clock so far

Almost starved here, nobody on the terrace but it turned out to be too busy to make a sandwich within half an hour. Really bad. Service is especially not interested.

I wish I could give more stars for the food, but I can't because I didn't get my food. Upon arrival we were asked very quickly what we wanted to drink. I was already slightly irritated by the tone of the waitress but everyone can have a bad date so I don't see a problem with that. Some time later we had our drinks but we hadn't been able to tell what we wanted to eat. After asking ourselves we had to wait at least 10 minutes for our order to be taken. 20 minutes later we were asked if we wanted something else to drink. I asked that I would like my food first, which I had been waiting for over 20 minutes. The waitress reacted irritated that it was very busy. However, the terrace was very empty. What a shame that I am served this way at a place with such a beautiful appearance

Had to wait a very long time for a starter, had to wait more than an hour between starter and main course (dinner). Asked staff numerous times why it took so long. Food was also disappointing. Afterwards it turned out that it had not been communicated to the system that we had finished the starter, so the kitchen did not know that they had to prepare the main course. In the end, no apologies and we were told that this is a normal waiting time during busy times (there were 4 tables occupied inside and it was not busy outside either.) As a compensation, we received coffee on the house. I would not recommend dining there again.

Not a cozy tent, lots of smokers on the terrace...horrible. sour chocolate milk through old pastilles?

It was cold in the restaurant, we kept our jackets on… bbbrrrr. Service was not very attentive, it took a long time before we got drinks and new drinks also took a long time. People didn't often look our way, because we wanted extra sauce with the sandwich, but that took so long that my daughter had finished the sandwich in the meantime, while they often walked halfway through the restaurant, but not all the way to the back where we were sitting in the children's corner. Too bad because it looks nice inside.

Ate with mom's grilled cheese. White was good. Burnt brown and so was the ham. Cook said it was not burnt. And was bitter. Coffee is good. Chocolate milk too. But you could put the whipped cream on 1 teaspoon. But they had to pay. Staff unfriendly. Not sympathetic. We will never go there again. So easy to earn money off the back of the customer

Great menu, lots of beers and a good atmosphere.

We were with a group and we had to wait 45 minutes for the starter, which was tasty by the way. Overall the food was good. Water was not charged. The satay sauce was too salty and overpowering for us. Meat fine. Vegetable strudel was disappointing. Friendly service.

Wonderful 12 hours, (too) much to finish.

It's nice that there is such a nice accommodation in Roden. The food is fine, the atmosphere is good and the service is excellent. Various activities are organized in the large hall. Oa. a bird show and bridge evenings. Parking on site, but it is not too large and therefore fills up quickly.

Great location for a beer and a game of darts.

Really exceptionally good food. The spareribs in particular are special. I have never tasted so much smoky flavor in combination with structure before.

First time invited by my daughter and that was great, second time with my girlfriend and this time the food was extremely good and sufficient. The atmosphere was very good, nice and dark, just like you used to have and I can now say that I will certainly come there more often.

Stopped here for lunch. 20 minutes after ordering, the same waitress came to ask if we had already made a choice. Placed the order again and after half an hour asked when we could expect this. It came so it was said. After asking again, our lunch arrived, and in the end it was delicious.

Super cozy and hospitable terrace where very attentive and cheerful employees predominate while enjoying wonderful background music. Fantastic dishes with our favorite being a platter of goodies for 2 people, chapeau! A big 10 for you. We will definitely come back 👋🏼

Another pleasant and delicious meal

We had a delicious meal here. The procure (juicy piece of meat from the neck of the pig) was excellent. This is made in large quantities on the smoker and then made into portions and vacuum packed. The friendly waiter showed photos of it. The dish is highly recommended and we will definitely return when we are in the area again.

The food was super delicious, the service was also almost perfect but the coke accidentally fell on my father but it was cleaned up immediately. It also had a very nice atmosphere there, highly recommended.

Right in the center of Roden - on the Brink - with a view of the church - Ot and Sien - attractive terrace with sofas and cushions - on the road, but not a nuisance - nice staff - nice place to come for a breath of fresh air Snack and a beverage.

Staff walks around as if they don't feel like it. Cheese fondue is certainly not recommended as the pepper still contains seeds and no flame under the pan. No sauce with the leg of lamb. Dame blanche is simply 2 scoops of ice cream with cold chocolate sauce with an ice cream cone. In that respect, far too expensive for the food with what we expected and that for these prices.

Nice place for events. I attended the first edition of Voltage X here myself. Good atmosphere and accessible to everyone. There is also plenty of parking space.

This very attractive and cozy restaurant is located in the heart of Roden, in a beautiful location on the Brink. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I received the warmest welcome here. In addition to a nice dinner menu, they also have more than 70 different specialty beers (you don't come across many). My carpaccio and entrecote (pepper sauce was also sublime) were also of a particularly high standard (I enjoyed them). Compliments to the chef! Recommended if you are in the area 👌👌

Nice people in the service. They regularly ask if everything is okay and they are genuinely friendly. Drinks board is highly recommended! They have something different on the shelf every time. We regularly come here to enjoy the drinks platter and are always pleasantly surprised by what is on it.

Surprising menu with unique ingredients and dishes with beer and wine suggestions. Both the ceviche and the leg of lamb were well seasoned, beautifully cooked and served with care. The homemade baklava with blackberry was refreshing if you only know the baklava from the local Turkish supermarket. Enthusiastic, attentive and smooth service. The contrast between the pub at the front of the building and the restaurant part may be a bit confusing upon entering. But once you have joined, this is not disturbing. The Pompstee team can be proud!

We enjoyed it so much here! The spare ribs were wonderfully tender and we had a wonderful time with relaxing music in the background and the employees know exactly what they are doing! Absolutely great!

Highly recommended. Wanted to sit on the terrace, the terrace heater turned on and they were helped immediately. Staff super customer friendly and knowledgeable about what they sell The pulled pork fries were super tasty, large portions and very good quality 👌 For the specialty beer drinker, this is definitely recommended with at least 100 beers to choose from.🍻 For beer lovers, take the high beer, which comes with a delicious snack board and 3 beers per person, tell us what you like and be surprised by the staff. We will definitely come back here more often and will definitely recommend it to people. Keep up the good work 💪🍻

Great place, great food, cozy on the terrace with heaters and located in a good location, lots of variety in food and drinks and spacious drinks boards. Only had to wait a bit long for drinks, but otherwise great.

Heerlijk gegeten in het gezellige restaurant. Vriendelijke bediening en alles lekker vers.

Jammer dat de entrecote niet warm genoeg was. Voor het overige alles prima in orde.

Goede en snelle bediening en heerlijk eten

Na een heerlijk diner moet ik wel toegeven dat de keuken een stuk verbeterd is dan een paar jaar geleden. Was toen zo ontevreden dat ik niet meer terug ben geweest tot vanavond. Heerlijke procureur gegeten. Ook de gerechten van mijn tafelgenoten waren uitstekend. Kom toch nog een keertje terug om iets anders te proeven.

Leuke feesttent! En goede bierkaart. Vanavond maar weer eens uittesten.

Ontzettend lekker gegeten, vriendelijke bediening en normale prijzen. Het enige minpuntje was dat we te lang moesten wachten op zowel het voor- als op het hoofdgerecht. Dat gezegd hebbende, het eten smaakte er niet minder door.

Lekkerste tosti pulled pork ooit gegeten. Bereidingsproces doorloopt verschillende stadia voordat het bij de klant belandt. Zeer goed behapbaar.

Terras is niet rustig langs een weg met veel autos. De mosselen waren heerlijk. Service goed!

Mooi restaurant in het centrum van Roden. Heerlijk gegeten. Lekker sparerib plank met pulled chicken en Mac and cheese. Niet duur. En enorme (speciaal) bierkaart.

Prima gezeten met een drankje en een bittergarnituur. Er werd meerdere keren gevraagd of we nog iets wilden drinken, zelfs toen de flesjes nog niet eens leeg waren. Dat voelde wat opdringerig. De weg waar ze aan zitten is druk, maar zorgt ook voor reuring. Voor bij de borrel is er van alles te kiezen.

Eten was erg matig. Wijn was 'bochtwijn" en dat voor eur 5,50 per glas. Je zit er wel leuk en de koffie was lekker Maar dat is ook het enige positieve

Hier even langs geweest met vrienden voor een late lunch, rond 1530u. Zeer snelle service en gewoon goed eten.

Ik vond de zeebaars maar matig en het bakje met plukvlees wat je bij de sparerib kreeg smaakte ranzig. Iedereen van ons gezelschap heeft dit laten staan

Bierwalhalla met ruime keuze aan lokale en exotische bieren. Daarnaast een fantastische deelplank als hoofdgerecht waar je het beste van de Pompstee op je bord krijgt. En dat is niet mis! Vriendelijke service, heerlijk binnen zitten, goede sfeer. Mocht je twijfelen: twijfel niet langer en ga langs!

Vandaag geweest. Vriendelijk personeel. Hebben na 6 klanten op het terras een half uur gewacht op 1 uitsmijter en tosti Hawaï . Tosti Hawaï was gewoone tosti. Jammer alles. Verder mooie locatie.

Ik ben hier geweest in verband met het afscheid van een vroegere collega. Hele mooie gelegenheid aan de Brink te Roden en als liefhebber van speciaal bieren kwam ik hier helemaal aan mijn trekken. Ik kom nog een keer eten...!

Hier vandaag heerlijk gegeten, met name het voor gerecht de gamba,s zijn een echte aanrader!! Geserveerd door vriendelijk personeel.

Heerlijk vlees en diverse huisgemaakte gerechten. Top!!
