An app helped me count calories and brought me here. The burger with the fried egg fit well into my day thanks to the high protein content and tasted great. The place is tidy and the service was prompt.

What a wonderfully pleasant place to eat. Cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff. The beef stew with red cabbage and homemade fries was delicious. A small adjustment was no problem. We also had coffee on the beautiful terrace. We would love to come back again.

Foodcafe is a nice, cozy cafe/restaurant. We were early, so there weren't many guests yet. The waitress was nice and very friendly, and the food (a sandwich for lunch) was excellent. Highly recommended.

The service is good and the place looks nice. I ordered spareribs but they were not tender and served with very few fries. That could really have been better. It is pricey, though, and the lack of quality is a bit of a shame. The way it was served was okay, though.

We had a very disappointing experience. We returned part of our meal because we weren't satisfied with it, but instead of asking if we'd like a replacement or offering a solution, the only response we received was, "Thank you!“. Despite clearly explaining that we were unhappy with the dish, we were still charged for it. Unfortunately, this level of customer service was very disappointing.

I picked up some food here for the first time, and it was delicious. We'll be back soon to eat at the food café. The people are lovely and the staff very friendly. Highly recommended. We had a lovely meal at the café; it's very cozy and the food is delicious. It's also great with kids.

The food was pretty okay, but the prices aren't very clearly indicated; it says "available as a plate," but that price isn't listed. Just some fries in a small bowl with a small salad. So it costs €6, and the burger wasn't anything special either. The staff was friendly, though. However, it might be an option to make the menu clearer. For example, the price for a plate at the top, and the burger price listed separately below that.

Spareribs so greasy, inedible; mentioned it, ordered something else, and tadaa, had to pay for both because that food cafe thought it was fine, so one hamburger and inedible ribs for less than €68, really a rip-off cafe.

First time, we will definitely be back! Gluten-free very good, nice atmosphere, nice people.

Another day on the road, and you're always in need of something to eat. The Foodcafe does a lot of things right: delicious fries, good raw vegetables, lots of vegetarian options, and a fantastic vegan beet burger. It's a shame, though, that they don't offer a plant-based dessert. Many of their vegetarian options can easily be made vegan, so there's still work to be done. Nevertheless, highly recommended.

The food was lukewarm. The fries were all small pieces, sometimes even fried three times. There was a hair in the food. After reporting it, nothing was done about it. The restaurant is nothing more than a snack bar. Sauces, etc., are pre-made.

After ordering, the food arrived quickly; I'd barely started my drink when it arrived. They also handle allergies really well. For the quality of food served, they're not expensive. Food is good, served at a chip shop. The prices are too high for what you get. The place was empty, but we had to sit right next to other people. When we left, there were still other tables empty.

During our stay in Roden we ate at the Foodcafé three times in a row. What a nice place. There is an extensive menu, many gluten-free options and excellent service from the staff. Niels helped us and we noticed that he does his work with passion and pleasure! We will definitely come back! Really recommended.

Super fun to sit and eat. Had a delicious uitmijter with garnish of onions bacon and paprika. Tasted delicious. The iced coffee is also recommended, really delicious, you definitely want more of it. Staff super nice and you can see that everything is made with love.

There is a really great atmosphere in the food café the Foodcafe burgers en zo! The staff is super friendly and the food is great! Definitely recommended for everyone! Our waitress Maud should definitely be put in the spotlight more often 😁🌷 We came for dinner 3 days in a row and they were always waiting for us with open arms. This place made me feel like on vacation ! Located in a busy area of Roden, the place was fairly quiet when we arrived. We sat down and the waitress quickly came to take our order. I ordered the Kipsnitzel Fritespecial and my best friend got the Nacho Burger. We were pleasantly surprised ! The portions were really big and the food was really savory and easy to the stomach. I had a lovely time here. They are also really careful with dietary restrictions. Looking forward to coming back and trying other meals !

A delicious burger worth repeating

Ended up here by chance after a day of horse riding. A beautiful place with friendly staff and the tastiest hamburger ever eaten. For dessert we had an iced coffee, which was really iced coffee, delicious soft ice cream with espresso, caramel and whipped cream. Can't say anything other than a 10 with a pencil.

Ate there twice and I ordered half a chicken, my wife the schnitzel Super tender, deliciously seasoned and crispy. It is unbelievable how good this is, I am a chef myself and there is usually always something to complain about when I go out to eat, quality, preparation, etc. no matter how hard I try, there is nothing to complain about at all. Had a delicious lunch here today. Food quality was very good. With burgers, at many restaurants I find that the fat runs off or all the raw vegetables fall off. Neither was the case here. Hearty, well-filled, delicious burger with tender meat. Farmer's bouncer is also highly recommended. This is also a large portion. Absolutely recommended!

Had lunch today at Foodcafé and was very pleasantly surprised! The terrace was beautiful, the service was friendly and super fast. The food was generous, well priced and very tasty. Good, fresh products, not greasy, lots of ingredients, etc. To top it all off, a coloring picture for our two-year-old with pencils, apple juice in a special cup that he could take home and the fries also came in a car container! We will definitely come again. This is how it should be!

As regular customers, we ate here almost every month for a year, the food was good and I tipped regularly. However, lately the bills have always been more expensive than according to the menu. We later calculated the bill back and we always ended up with a difference of 5-7 euros on a bill of 40-50 euros. When the bill was too high again today, I asked for a receipt for a change. There were 2 drinks left that we had not purchased. The response was nonchalant and I initially got 4 euros back instead of 6. It has now gone wrong 5 times in a row. I no longer believe that this was an accident and have completely lost my confidence in the Food Cafe. We won't be back. I advise anyone who eats there to request the bill to check whether it is correct!

Delicious burgers and a nice appearance in the center of Roden for a great price. You can sit inside or on the terrace. There were 6 of us including 2 young children. Unfortunately the service is less good. Drinks have been forgotten several times and when the food arrived they had mixed up the orders on the plates. We had 1 vegetarian burger and the rest were meat burgers, only the sides for the meat burgers were with those of the vegetarian. When we reported this immediately when serving, the service said that we could arrange this ourselves. A bit strange, because you don't exchange food from each other's plates between 2 couples. If we were 1 couple this would still be an option. He took it to the bar and traded it in plain sight without any subtlety. The children's order had also been forgotten, which arrived later when we were already eating. We hope that we have just been on a bad/chaotic evening and that otherwise everything will be fine here. The food was actually delicious!

We opted for the stew with red cabbage and fries and the salmon meal salad. Both dishes were more than sufficient and beautifully served, the taste was also more than ok. Have a glass of wine and enjoy. A nice cup of coffee from the company made it complete. We will definitely come back more often.
