Best spare ribs I've ever eaten. It's no wonder they won an award. I'll definitely be back.

The food was delicious, truly excellent. I understand why it's always packed. One improvement would be to do something about the noise level; that would really make the experience much more comfortable!

We ordered a delicious lunch platter on a sunny summer afternoon. What was on the platter was a surprise, and we were both pleasantly surprised. It was truly delicious! Top-quality meat with just the right amount of cooking and flavor. It was filled with original ingredients, so you definitely get your money's worth. So the platter was completely finished 😁 The location is also great. Easily accessible, parking is available, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The service is also excellent. Everything runs smoothly, and they check in between to make sure everything is to your liking. In short, we'll be back, and I definitely recommend it!👌🏻

Really super good and tasty food, definitely recommended

Long wait, the waitresses were unfriendly and couldn't handle the crowd. The food wasn't even appetizing. There was one young man who was friendly and presented himself as a true host. There weren't enough menus for the restaurant. We wouldn't return.

We started our afternoon with a drink on the terrace. The staff and the atmosphere were so great that we wanted to stay for dinner. Only the bar table was still available. No problem for us. And that was a good move. What a fun and friendly young staff. Everyone was always up for a chat and a joke. We had a wonderful meal and were even able to buy the delicious homemade sambal. Highly recommended for a delicious meal at a great price in a cozy atmosphere. You'll definitely see us back from Brabant.

We had a delicious meal! We started with a drinks platter, then moved on to our appetizer and main course. For our main course, we had the shared dinner (one plate for two people). The burger was "okay," and the onion rings were more dough than onion. Otherwise, it was delicious, and we went home feeling quite full!

We had such a delicious meal here yesterday (June 19th)! A super tasty tomahawk and a superb tournedos on a plank with homemade fries, fried onion rings, and shrimp with various sauces. The chef also insisted we try their spareribs. Thick, excellent, and buttery tender! Since everything was cooked over charcoal, I, as a true BBQ enthusiast, was naturally very interested in the kitchen. Want to take a look? No problem! Super friendly staff. All nice, young, friendly, and very interested in whether everything tasted good and was to our liking. All in all, we went home feeling full and satisfied! We had an absolutely delicious meal! We'll definitely be back!!

We had a lovely lunch with three people, having reserved in advance. We were able to sit inside, but despite the higher temperatures calling for the terrace, it was too stuffy there, so we were happy with the spot inside. Unfortunately, a few flies found the same thing, and that was the only downside to our visit. They're part of the experience, and the restaurant owner can't do much about it, but it really detracts from your dining experience when you have to constantly swat around you. Again, not the fault of Bruut's staff. A great lunch menu with plenty of choices. Something for everyone, really. The spare ribs were tempting after all the positive reviews we'd read about them, but we'll try those next time. All three of us enjoyed excellent food. Service was also quick. They use high-quality ingredients, not run-of-the-mill. Everything is fresh, carefully prepared, and perfectly seasoned. The staff is young, but friendly and helpful. The tables are neatly cleared. They regularly check to see if everything is to your liking, despite the busy terrace. We were pleasantly surprised when the bill arrived; the prices were reasonable and very reasonable. This lunch left us wanting more, and we will definitely be back soon to enjoy dinner and repeat this delicious lunch.

Tonight, we had a delicious spareribs at Bruut, paired with a lovely white South African vanilla wine. The waitress recommended the wine so well and tastefully that we couldn't refuse it 😃. The spareribs and Bruut ice cream sundae were also delicious and good. Beautifully presented on the plate. I hope this has turned my somewhat negative review of the Ascension Day drinks, which I still stand by, into a good dining experience. So, I can once again recommend Bruut as a good restaurant where you can enjoy delicious food, just as I've come to expect. All's well that ends well 😁 🍖🍨🍷

What a fantastic restaurant, everything is right, the food is a big 10 so tasty. The taste of the BBQ can really be tasted everywhere but everything in its own way. The staff is really more than a 10 what a nice team. They quickly respond to everything. We had a great evening with all the nice people who work here. And we felt at home here right away. Who knows, we might come back this weekend x before we travel to South Holland again. Thank you very much for this great evening❤️🥰

Delicious food. Spareribs where the meat falls off the bone so soft and tasty. Salad full of goodies, the meat and side dishes, all equally tasty and plates beautifully served. Really recommended. To feast!!! And Meike, the waitress at our table was great with nice humor! Recommended and we will come back soon

A truly fantastic restaurant with super friendly service and incredibly delicious food. We had the carpaccio salad and the burger, but as a double. For dessert, we had a tiramisu special with a martini and Bruut ice cream. We'll be back next year!

The food is great, It would be nice if something were done about the acoustics. It is rather hollow and noisy and then people talk louder and louder.

Beautiful location on the Brink in the heart of Roden. The restaurant is located in a very beautiful old and monumental building from 1672. It has its charm, but I felt a bit locked up inside. Luckily the weather was nice, and I could sit outside on the terrace. Service was super nice. They have a very nice menu (especially if you like a good piece of meat). I went for the Ribeye. And what a good piece of meat this was 👌👌! Really sublime (unprecedentedly tasty / especially in combination with the pepper sauce). Recommended!

Went there spontaneously on a Sunday evening with our 3-years old. We were welcomed super friendly and immediately felt this was the right decision. Wonderful variety of food and drinks, the bread as a starter is delicious!! The platter to share was super tasty as well - just sad we were too full to try one of their desserts. We will come back for sure - hopefully we will be in the region again soon. Highly recommended! Also, very young and wonderful, attentive staff.

We've had several delicious meals now. It's great to see everyone within the company growing! The appetizers, which are on the house, are creative and delicious. The main courses are deliciously flavorful. The spare ribs are a favorite. But the other main courses (we don't eat salmon) are also delicious. The desserts are beautifully presented and flavorful. The portions of each course are also excellent. The atmosphere is relaxed. The service is prompt and customer-friendly. In short, a great restaurant for good food and a pleasant atmosphere. A year has passed since we mentioned the above... it's been a long time since I've had such a delicious meal!!! A real 10... hats off to everyone who works at Bruut. Very tasty meal! The salmon was especially delicious. Unfortunately, the drinks were not received twice. After asking for it again the first time and it was resolved nicely, the second time we just left it at that. Shame! It also took a long time to take orders and serve them.

The food was truly fantastic and plentiful. We had a platter for two, and it was perfect. Kudos to the chef, who makes the selections for the platter.

Had a delicious lunch platter for two people, including spareribs, steak, fries and carpaccio. Tasted very good.

Had a small sparerib sandwich, my husband had a 'regular' sparerib sandwich and a portion of fries. This was by far the best sparerib sandwich I have ever eaten. Portions were very large, we both couldn't finish it, the sandwiches were generously filled. Service excellent, friendly and fast. We will definitely come back here, highly recommended!

The food was good. However, the service left much to be desired: 1. Asking for a carafe of water. This is not possible because the carafes are empty. 2. Someone at our table orders red wine for dinner. He had had a white wine beforehand. The waitress wants to pour the red wine into the glass that contained the white wine. 3. We order extra fries. These arrive very late, when we have already finished our main course. 4. An ice cream sundae is ordered as a dessert, among other things. We are given coffee spoons to eat it with. So despite the fact that the food was good, it is still a 3 based on price and service.

It was incredibly tasty! People with knowledge of the profession work here! What a welcome surprise!! Deliciously tender steak for a very good price. It's a shame we live so far away, but it is highly recommended! Tip, don't forget to make a reservation or you might be disappointed.

Atmosphere....It was very noisy in a small room. Couldn't talk to each other. We sat near the door. The door and outside door were always open. It was very cold. We closed the door 5 times. We asked for another place but it was all occupied. Food and dessert were delicious. The service was excellent. A small mistake was made up for with a free drink.

Just ordered a sparerib meat sandwich from Bruut. Friendly staff and come and pick it up right away. I've never had such a delicious sandwich! The sparerib meat was wonderfully tender and had a nice grilled taste to it. The aioli and coleslaw were less present and therefore not overpowering. The sandwich was nice and fresh and crispy and the sparerib meat was richly topped😁 Great lunch!

My husband and I had dinner here on Sunday evening, November 17. A beautiful restaurant in a former farm. Because it was my husband's birthday that day, we got a glass of Prosecco. We ordered steak and spare ribs. Served with red pepper, asparagus, fries, roseval potatoes, chicory with ham and cheese. Everything was SUPER tasty. Smoky flavor from the BBQ. The meat of the spare ribs was so tender that it fell right off the bone. The round steak with chimichurri also tasted delicious. The desserts, tiramisu and browni with ice cream were to die for. The service was welcoming and pleasant. Overall, REALLY recommended for a meal.

I had ordered the tournedos but I was also curious about the spare ribs, this was noticed by the attentive service and I was soon told that a piece of spare ribs could be served with my dish. I have never eaten such delicious spare ribs in my life, and my god that BBQ taste of the meat and the tournedos that are perfectly cooked, the waiter's wine tip was a Rosso because it has a slightly smoky taste. SUPER! All in all a perfect evening, An asset to Roden! You will definitely see us again!

A really good hamburger and delicious spare ribs (perhaps the best I have eaten in a Dutch restaurant). They use charcoal and you can taste it; the smokiness is nice. The spareribs are super tasty and very tasty. The sauce they serve goes well with it. The meat is tender and falls off the bone easily, but still has a bite. The hamburger (bruutburger) was nice and juicy and the bun was airy. We received a friendly welcome and good service. Smooth and correct. Very good price-quality ratio! They serve crispy fries here! No mushy mess, but good firm and crispy robust/rustic fries/fries. Delicious! I found the onion rings boring and I doubt they were homemade. Not a disaster of course, but I wouldn't order them again. Quite an extensive wine list with some taste descriptions. I do miss some local special beer; that could be a nice addition.

It doesn't happen often that the waiter tells you "the kitchen would like to let you know that they are very happy with you" but it did happen here. Very nice! The reason turned out to be that we had asked if the steak could be as red as possible, and that is a wish that apparently does not happen often in Roden in Drenthe. The steak was also really good and tender enough for such redness. Was served with tasty chimichuri sauce. The spareribs are also perfect, but many have already said that here.

Well where do I start... 1. The food here is phenomenal. You can taste the love and passion of the kitchen in everything you are served! 2. The staff is super friendly, nice and always has time for fun. Even a cocktail that wasn't on the menu is still made for you with all the love. In short: For the tastiest and most tender meat in Roden and the surrounding area, you should definitely visit here. The spareribs fall off the bone as soon as they are in front of you and the Ribeye is as tender as can be. Tasty and special beers on tap. And oh yes! They make all the cocktails themselves. (Something that many places nowadays come from standard wholesale bottles *blegh*.) We had super friendly staff all evening and afterwards the chef even came by to check and ask if everything had really been to taste. This is what you would like to see, taste and especially feel if you want to have a delicious meal somewhere for an evening. A big fat 10+ for restaurant Bruut in Roden!

We had a delicious meal at Bruut. Salmon tartare, beet carpaccio, spare ribs, burrata salad. Delicious creme brulee and bruuts dessert. Clearing the main course took a long time and there were noisy other visitors.

We made a reservation here twice by telephone and upon arrival they did not have a table for us (both times), which was a shame. The staff working were helpful and very friendly.

Cozy atmosphere, nice cheerful service, and above all very good food. We had the Bruut plank for 2, and everything was very tasty and very well prepared. From the barbecued asparagus to the salmon with perfect crust, to the delicious potatoes and the beautiful rib-eye: all top. Also very reasonably priced for what you get in return. We were impressed and will definitely come again!

Today we had a delicious meal with my wife and daughter. After ordering a drink and food, we received the drink quite quickly, in contrast to the ordered food, which took quite a long time. After inquiring with the waiter, we were told what the problem was. were able to come, afterwards the long wait was worth it because the food was delicious, and after ordering another drink, the waiter brought us and told us that we had been offered these drinks from the restaurant because of waiting too long for the food .top! If we are in the area again, we will definitely eat at restaurant Bruut again. The nicest staff and delicious food.
