De Peper Authentic Thai Food in Wijk 12 Bomen- en Bloemenbuurt

On the corner of Thomsonlaan is Peper. It's a small restaurant with takeout and some seating. I often order delivery (directly through their website). The menu is extensive and features Thai dishes. The flavor and preparation are excellent, and the 🌶 are accurate. My favorites are the green and red curry dishes with beef or shrimp 🦐. The price-quality ratio is good, making it a definite recommendation for Thai food lovers.

papaya salad was actually good.

Finally a Thai that isn’t too sweet and hit the right amount of spice. I cannot handle the real Thai level, but I do enjoy quite some extra heat which most restaurants here don’t offer. This was such a lovely dish (Green Tofu Curry with extra vegetables). The prawns and chicken (side dishes) were delicious and even such a basic thing as the fried rice was perfect. Will order more often for sure!

Very tasty. I expected it to be a bit spicier, but the flavor was excellent. I enjoyed it. And it was delivered quickly! Went back again. The papaya salad is amazing! The flavors are just like in Thailand.

Ordered three dishes yesterday to take away. Papaya salad; Pad Thai chicken; Pad Kee Mao Kai (Trunken noodles chicken) We were extremely happy with the order. The ingredients were very fresh, and the flavour was on the Top. Pad kee Mao Kai was spicy enough that actually matched my expectations! Papaya salad was very fresh and full of flavour And Pad Thai tasted just like how my bf tasted in Thailand Definitely going to vitis this restaurant more often

The food was super delicious, the flavors are strong, authentic and deliciously spicy, just the way we like it. Everything was fresh and well seasoned. Definitely recommended for lovers of good food.

Wonderful food and service! We had no.28 and 29 on the menu, awesome beef and duck red curry. Would definitely go again! Just that the place has only 3 tables so if you want to dine in the restaurant better make a reservation!

Food is bad, you are treated badly and the staff gossip about you in the kitchen in their native language

The food was ok, a bit sweet and zero spice. We asked for Thai spicy and the cashier laughed and then asked if we were sure?!?! Turns out, she decided that we can't handle her spices since she is the arbitrator of what non-Thai people can handle. Dude, I had Thai spicy in Thailand and other places in the world and it's more flavorful than spicy for me. The 4 dishes that I ordered were sweet and not- authentic. My overall review is that they are rude and condescending.

The food is great! Been here quite a lot of times and it would never disappoint. There are not many places in the Hague this friendly as they are at the Peper! Portions are quite generous so usually I have some leftover for lunch the day after ^^ Would definitely recommend getting food here. (:

Average Thai, ok priced. Pad Thai is above average.

My favorite Thai food around the neighbourhood! The food is the best, but I will suggest to take it away rather than eating there. The eating area is not too wide and it’s too close with the kitchen. The atmosphere of dine in is too busy, too food smelly, and too many courier come and go picking up food. The service is great, for a busy place

Best Thai restaurant in The Hague

Small nice thai restaurant. Nice people. Food was tasty. And a lot. It's more of a takeaway. 3 table if you want to eat inside. You can watch how everything is prepared. Worth repeating

Food was always good, but they overcook the beef. The meat continues to cook while you still have to transport it home, making it tough and dry. Here too, they keep asking for money for your plastic container. Has become a nice revenue model

The food is always tasty and the people are friendly. But is it possible that the delivery people are NOT racing around the sidewalk with their electric bikes? We have spoken to you about this several times and you get a loud mouth in return. There are people walking here with dogs, children and the elderly!

I live close trom this place. Ordered Vegetarian Pad Thai for take away. It's absolutely delicious and delightful,vegies are very good. My Oh My that Noodles is so heavenly tasy and good🤤 I dont think I ever are such a Tasty Noodles before ever in my life. Tomorrow I eat it for Second time, because it's too good to eat all in one go, I wanna savor it.

Top tent. Friendly ladies, freshly prepared super quickly and directly in front of you. Portions of curry are generous for 15-20 euros and well filled with meat/fish.

Great thai food. The thai green curry could be a bit more spicy. but I"ll guess most customers are fine with the level of spyciness. Lot's of vegetables in their curries which is great. The tod man plaa( fish cake) is also a great choice.

We have ordered here twice now. Very good. You can wake me up for this. Wide choice. Prepared in front of you with fresh ingredients while you wait. Clear menu. Good website. So order online, pick up/delivery. Friendly, customer-oriented staff. Only the last time (due to tight planning on my side) it was supposed to be ready at 4:30 PM, but they didn't know anything at that time (due to tight planning). But because of the friendliness of the ladies I thought it was OK. .. Great!

Always the same quality of delicious thai food. Also quick service and fresh vegetables and proteins. Love this place!

Lekker eten wel lang moeten wachten

Top. Je komt binnen en er is een open keuken. Je ziet een vitrine met allemaal mooi gesneden en verse groent. Was snel klaar. Eten is heerlijk en voldoende. Aanrader

Heeeeeeeerlijk gegeten, personeel zeer vriendelijk en zeer opgeruimd. En niet te vergeten er wordt zeer schoon gekookt. Heel belangrij. De porties zijn ook prima. Ik kom hier al jaren maar heb nog nooit een review geschreven. Zeer aan te bevelen. Het moet natuurlijk wel je smaak zijn. Wij hadden een panang curry en een kip knoflook met witte rijst.

Ik bestel hier nu al ruim 2 jaar, ik kan zeggen dat dit het lekkerste Thaise eten is dat ik ken! Bij meerdere Thaise restaurants besteld en gegeten, maar vooral het Kip-Cashew gerecht van De Peper is super! Precies zoals ik 'm wil: lekker krokant, de kip is mals en smakelijk, de groenten goed opgebakken en een heerlijke saus! Daarom van mij absoluut 5 sterren!

wij komen. hier bijna iedere week zo lekker vinden wij het...persoonlijk vind ik de groene curry met garnalenheel erg lekker...ook veel groenten zitten erbij...slles vers en knapperig

Erg flauw en lijkt meer op de doorsnee Chinees dan op Thais. Miste de typisch Thaise kruiden volledig. Teleurstelling.

Beste prijs/kwaliteit, ontzettend hardwerkend en efficiënt team en verser krijg je het nergens! Ook top dat er zoveel vegetarische opties zijn.

Really enjoyed our meal last night - nice and spicy! Great cucumber salad. My only gripe is that I like Phad kraprow normally has green beans (to my knowledge) but the Phad kraprow I had from here was mixed veg (no green beans).

Ik heb hier voor 2 personen eten afgehaald, het wordt in de open keuken, voor je neus klaargemaakt. De Peper heeft een uitgebreid assortiment, duidelijke menukaart, professionals die de zaak runnen, overzichtelijke allergie informatie, prima prijzen en het allerbelangrijkste, het eten is Verrukkelijk!!

Fresh ingredients, friendly staff, great Thai food prepared in full view while you wait. More a take-away than a restaurant; There are two or three tables (not now in COVID lock down), but it's not the ambiance for a romantic dinner.

Helaas dit keer wat minder geslaagd. De gefrituurde groenten waren heerlijk en krokant, ook de saté was lekker. De kokossoep was mierzoet en zowel mijn tafelgenoten als ik zelf hebben 's nachts last gehad van het eten. Jammer.

Ik weet niet hoe dit afhaalrestaurant zich Thais kan noemen. Gisteren, 28/2/2020 gekocht: somtam (redelijk), vis in curry (flauw en smaakloos, vis was een goedkope filet), kauw pad (thaise gebakken rijst met kip en groenten, die zaten er wel in, maar smaakte nergens naar), tom yum koong (soep met garnalen, smaakte naar ...?). Kortom geen Thais eten, maar een eigen vorm van Thais, die voor mensen die van echt Thais voedsel houden absoluut zal tegenvallen.En bovendien veel te duur voor het gebodene.

Impresionante como siempre. Por lo general, sacar. Primera vez comiendo en el restaurante y no me decepcionó. Pato y piña en curry rojo estaba delicioso y el Phad Thai es maravilloso. Genial ver a los chefs en el trabajo mientras esperan tu comida. El mejor.

Just devine 😋 you’re in Thailand!

Wat een leuk restaurant! Je kan hier afhalen maar heb gekozen om hier te eten. Voor mij de tweede keer en vorige keer ook genoten. Ik heb gekozen voor een weekmenu. Wauw wat heb ik genoten. Vooraf kip, daarna rundvlees curry met groente, omelet en witte rijst. Super lekker en goede pure smaken. Ik Jan het iedereen aanraden.

Can't say enough good things about this place ... very affordable for Thai food in the west, great taste in all dishes tried so far and very happy and friendly Thai ladies working there (especially if you can "poot passa thai nik noi")! Only thing is that you have to really tell them you want "pet maak maak" if you like your This food authentic and spicy!
