De Pizzabakkers Hilversum in Centrum

We used to order here often before it closed; it was always delicious pizza and tasty sides! I really miss it now that it's closed.

We had a wonderful meal yesterday. High-quality pizzas, delicious from the wood-fired oven. Delicious scroppinos too. It did take a bit long, and the interior could use a bit more decoration. But we're very satisfied!

Kids loved it. Anna and Sophia are the best :)

I ordered pizza 2 hours ago, and it hasn’t been delivered!

The pizzas are delicious. The tiramisu and scripino are also delicious. The service, etc., could be much better.

The pizzas are fine, but the service is unfortunately rather student-like. It's more of a nice takeaway than a place to eat in the evening.

I've been a huge fan of Pizzabakkers for years. I usually go to Nachtegaalstraat in Utrecht, but now I also go to Hilversum. There's a slight difference in quality between the two, so that's why Hilversum gets one star less. Otherwise, it's truly fantastic.

The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. We came here for my sister's birthday and asked for a candle with dessert. Unfortunately, it was only a small candle, and I was hoping they would join in the singing, but unfortunately, they quickly left. I also think the interior and patio could be a bit more inviting. The plants all looked very sad and were desperate for water.

It's great that there are (really tasty) options for vegans. That's why we like to come here.

Ordered 4 pizzas for 74 euros and a bit. Delivery person from thuisbezorgd was simply sent away and the order was cancelled. Conversation with the store not possible. What a crap business, not normal.

Pizzas not special, we are used from Apeldoorn the Pizzabakkers that these are nice crispy and fresh pizzas. Here really lacks a manager who directs everything well. Service was not active in approaching new drinks and making a choice for the menu. In addition, the toilet was really dirty, the sink a bit too filthy. At first I thought this was deposits, but checked with a toilet paper and just dirty brown sludge came off this sink. I really won't come here again, I prefer Apeldoorn which really has a completely different experience and is clean!

We ordered 2 pizzas for >40 euros (well paid). After ordering 1.5 hours in advance (instead of asap), the pizzas arrived cold and of very poor quality 45 minutes later (in total >2 hours from ordering time). We called again but they didn't answer. That's really a shame from an organizational point of view. NO GO!! Only plus: the Prosciutto was of good quality (cold due to cooling)

Not enough staff. Missing ingredients and drinks. Scant toppings on pizza. I have eaten at other places in this chain and it has been better. Had to get own menus, got a second choice drink and a second choice pizza due to missing stock. And the tomato base on the pizza was so scant it was embarrassing. Must try harder.

Tonight I had a great meal and drinks at pizzabakkers in Hilversum and there was even live music! So cool. Super fun and the singer sang beautifully too. Great experience and definitely recommended!

Great pizza restaurant. Also very thin pizzas.

The restaurant is becoming scruffy and they seem a little reluctant to turn the heating up on cold days. Staff seems primarily composed of untrained teenagers, so expect long waits and patchy service. The pizzas are very good though, and since they don't overdo it with very liquid tomato sauce they also travel well. Better to have your pizza delivered than sit in their restaurant and be served, perhaps?

This restaurant lacks a manager over the service and a chef who occasionally watches and tastes what comes out of the kitchen. Even with the tables a quarter full of guests, it took an excruciatingly long time for orders to be taken, drinks arrived when the pizzas were almost gone and the food was either just or not at all. Strange flavors on a very thin pizza, starters that are barely worth the name (a finger bowl with olives) and a dessert that apparently no one in the kitchen has ever tasted (a calzone with a huge load of bitter chocolate, caramel sauce and a hard lump of sugar with pistachios. Not a pleasant experience.

I wanted to celebrate my son's birthday there. When I tried to make the reservation online, I received a message that time at the restaurant is limited. You don't go to a restaurant for a quick meal and drink and then go home. Unsociable and rude. We won't go then.

After waiting over an hour for the order, an ice-cold pizza arrived. After trying to call for 10 minutes, someone finally answered who could only say 10 times that they are not responsible for the delivery, all problems are for home delivery and you can sort that out yourself. Their solution, order a new pizza and wait another hour or throw it in the oven yourself…. This is no way to do business. I understand that you outsource delivery to another company, but it is not nice to completely withdraw your hands from making mistakes and not think along with the customer in any way. In addition to all the hassle surrounding delivery, the pizza itself (even after heating it up in the oven...) was very disappointing.

Quite a lack of atmosphere, service left a lot to be desired, the girls were friendly, but there is clearly a lack of a manager with experience who manages things. While it was not busy, we had to wait a long time and orders were not served immediately, so my pizza was not really warm anymore. Pizzas were okay, but not very special, tiramisu was delicious. We won't be coming back here again.

Had to wait almost 2 hours for my food... called several times... voicemail every time... finally someone on the phone... the connection is disconnected halfway through the call... result... cold food! This is really not possible... if you as a restaurant cannot handle the orders... then don't take them!

The pizzas were tasty, but not really filling. My table companion had burnt pieces on his pizza, which was resolved by giving him 2 euros back on the pizza, that is not how you treat customers. It is not cozy and there is a poster in the toilet from an event from 3 months ago. I don't recommend eating here.

For the third time a pizza from the Pizza Bakers and I must say that they are DELICIOUS. Unfortunately something went wrong with the order and I called in between to find out where the pizza was. The pizza turned out to be registered as a pickup and not as a delivery. The friendly boy on the phone then ensured that a pizza would still be delivered and advised me to send an email about it because they also found it very annoying. And... the next day, this young man unexpectedly showed up on our doorstep with a make-up! I say Chapeau! Something can always go wrong... but these Pizza Bakers have solved it neatly! So despite the long wait, 5 stars for the super neat solution! Thank you! I will quickly redeem the voucher because your pizzas are truly delicious... fresh, crispy! Highly recommended!

Nice place. Pizza is not top 1 roman pizza in my life, but still really tasty. The dutch drinks - SO SWEET. Beware of those!

Dramatic!! Ordered pizza at 9 pm and paid in advance with 52 minutes waiting time. Order canceled at 9:55 pm without a call or anything. Got it just after 10pm. Then we called and were answered rudely and that we can get a coupon back and otherwise have to contact home delivery for our money. Couldn't say sorry or anything. So don't order here!!

Tasty pizza, but service is really bad. We were not asked if we wanted something to drink, had to wait 1.5 hours for pizza and asked for the bill ourselves. All to-go pizzas went to the customers sitting in the restaurant. So it's better to just order at home.

They know what they are doing. The decoration is nice, pizza and tiramisu is very good. I like their open kitchen concept. You can watch the guys tossing the pizza dough and then putting the prepared pizza into the big oven. And it is not expensive.

Fantastic pizza, delicious Italian thin base traditionally tossed in the air and baked in wood oven. The staff is wonderful and very kind to children. Highly recommended, worth a detour. Best pizza ever!

If you love Italy then you will love this restaurant. Everything is correct. Hopefully the quality and love will remain so tangible. Tip: pizza from the wood-fired oven should be eaten directly in the restaurant, of course.

Got this for delivery and the pizza had no cheese and was cold. For the prices they charge the pizza was extremely disappointing.

The tastiest pizza in a long time! Delicious thin base and super sweet, fun and enthusiastic service. It's also really fun for the kids that they get a ball of dough to play with and it will then also be baked. We will definitely come back!

First bite seemed to disappear in my mouth like cotton candy, and the flavors melted into my tongue. The food is impressively tasty, the flavors are exceptionally well balanced and it is the first time that I really like gorgonzola. Thinnest bottom I've ever seen. Truly an experience richer!

Finally a restaurant where tiramisu is just how I like it! The very welcoming restaurant, I immediately felt at home inside...delicious pizza, everything of excellent quality, friendly and kind staff...the kitchen with the pizza chefs in plain sight, I noticed the cleanliness of their work surface, wow well done ! Cozy place for good Italian food with plenty of options for vegetarian dishes and good service Update Restaurant has had a nice makeover. Also believe a new owner. In any case, things have not deteriorated and the pizzas were delicious again.

Vorige week met wat collega’s van Omroep Max bij de Pizzabakkers gegeten. Ziet er geweldig uit, pizza’s zoals ze horen te zijn. Duidelijk een nieuwe eigenaar met veel ervaring en gastvrijheid. Vanaf het Mediapark ben je er zo, dus collega’s radio en tv makers Pizzabakkers op de Groest voor lunch, diner of lekker bestellen.

Heerlijk gegeten, een gezellige ontspannen sfeer, en heel vriendelijke bediening. We komen binnenkort terug!

Heerlijk gegeten en echt heel gezellig! Enorm erop vooruit gegaan sinds nieuwe eigenaren. Ik neem altijd pizza caprese en die is hier echt lekker en vers, Aanrader.

Na een bezoek aan het Beeld & Geluid wilden we naar huis rijden en zagen dat er een enorme file stond. Dus besloten eerst maar een hapje te eten en dan onze rit naar Brabant te vervolgen. Zoekend naar een Italiaans restaurant kwamen we dit pareltje tegen. Geen zeer uitgebreide kaart, maar alles wat erop staat is lekker en authentiek. Het was moeilijk om een keuze te maken. Nog net een foto kunnen maken van de laatste pizzapunt voordat het op was. We baalden allevier dat ons eten op was. Bediening was vriendelijk en attent.

As an Italian I can say that the pizza is really good! starters such as focaccia and bruschetta are super! Funghi e pancetta is my favourite 🍕 pizza! Atmosphere family and friendly ✅

We zijn met z'n vieren gaan eten bij de pizzabakkers Hilversum, omdat we lazen over nieuwe eigenaren en een verbouwing. Het restaurant is sfeervol en mooi, de bediening was erg aardig en de bestelde pizza's waren heerlijk.

We hoorden dat de pizzabakkers in Hilversum in augustus nieuwe eigenaren heeft gekregen en helemaal is verbouwd. Dus we zijn er maar eens gaan eten. De pizza's waren heerlijk en de bediening was supervriendelijk. Het restaurant is sfeervol verbouwd. Wel een aanrader! O ja, Je kan er kiezen uit meerdere prosecco's, toch een leuke extra.

Net heerlijk geluncht op het terras! Lunchkaart is verassend uitgebreid met pizza’s, italiaanse broodjes, focaccias en salades. De kwaliteit is zeer hoog en bediening super aardig! Geslaagde heropening 👏

Nieuwe eigenaren en dat is te merken. Een mooie en gezellige plek geworden, we zaten op het terras want het was mooi weer, service fantastisch ondanks de hitte, kinderen blij met het ‘kneeddeeg’ en de pizza’s echt heel lekker. We komen terug.

Dont reccomend eating here just order or to go. Long waiting times with no understanding when you tell them. On top of this they ask to make a reservation but the restaurant is empty, so you ask yourself why you're waiting for over an hour Very unimpressed with the weak service and employees kept servicing delivery and service inside was left an afterthought then finally arrived with the wrong pizza's. Appetizer didnt even arrive until 10 minutes before Pizza's and even then all you see is delivery going out. Pizza was 1,5 hr late left unsatisfied wouldnt go here again
