Good service good pizzas. Great location just off the ferry from Amsterdam.

These people are truly incredibly ignorant. I've honestly never seen such bad pizza in my life. Here's their own Instagram as a source. Anything that can go wrong with a pizza goes wrong here. I'd guess there's a maximum of 30 grams of mozzarella on this one, which is incredibly meager. The burratas are also those mini balls, and they even cut them in half. The centers of those pizzas are soggy and limp. I think you can get better pizza just about anywhere else in Amsterdam.

Went to the first Boozy Brunch yesterday and it was really great! Delicious pizzas, great atmosphere, and fantastic staff!!!

Delicious pizza in a top location!

Really just declined our order after we waited for a hour. We ordered almost a hour ago and yet they declined it after waiting for so long. We genuinely could’ve ordered from a different place if they just declined it like 10 minutes after ordering, because now we pissed for wasting our time.

FABULOUS pizza, absolutely lovely atmosphere, and friendly ± welcoming service. We didn't sit there, but they had a nice private area on an upper level that looked amazing for an intimate gathering. Our kids are picky eaters and they each ate their ENTIRE pizza. That speaks for itself. 😀

I came by this area at the end of the night on Sunday and impulsively decided to try out this pizza spot. Lovely experience, the salami pizza was 10/10 - one of the best I've had. I met this young waitress Lifa who was super nice and a delight to speak to - she gave me many recommendations for my last day in Amsterdam.

I tend not to leave reviews, especially bad ones but this was probably the worst dining experience I have ever had. I’d heard some good things about this chain and was more than excited to give it a try, however it left a lot to be desired. Terrible service, and food to match. It took at least 40 minutes before someone even arrived to give us a menu, and then another 20 minutes before we could order a drink, despite the restaurant being nearly empty. The staff did not look at us when we did order and didn’t say a single word, just jotted down the order and left. When the food arrived it was somehow cold and burnt at the same time. Despite both me and my partner ordering the same pizza, they arrived looking completely different. The bottom was extremely thin and cracker-like, which made it hard to eat. Personally I will not be going back here. There are much better places to grab a pizza.

Can’t do a basic margarita pizza well sent us with the wrong order. I know this place is bad but it’s pretty much the only option in the area depending on the time and day. Go further for better pizza or even the other pizzabakkers location in noord.

The pizza crust is so thin that when sauce is poured on it, it practically becomes liquid. However, the edges are so hard that it feels like you're eating chips. I understand that many people find this perfect, but it's not my type of pizza. Sorry.

TERRIBLE SERVICE EVER. I've never written about the bad reviews. But wanted to tell other people today. To cut a long story short I had to ask all the time to the front staff Like, where is the menu? Can I order? Could I get bill?.....etc WHY??..... AND THE RESTAURANT WAS NOT THAT BUSY. the kitchen staff was even more kind. She served the pizza by herself and asked me to need anything else. That's ridiculous. Why the front staff exists? What is she doing? If she is doing racism, okay I face it.🙄 Salad and parmigiana were good but unfortunately pizza was too cooked. was not bad but definitely I could order more if the service is better. Haha sorry to owner but I don't really want to recommend to other people.

A disaster, booked a table for 2 at 19:00, came right on time and 30 minutes later we were still not given a hello nor asked for drinks so we just left. This is not acceptable.

Regular place for delicious and affordable pizza!

Cozy place with a good location, but the service was terrible. It took 10 minutes for someone to come with a menu, and then we waited 55 minutes for a COLD and BURNT pizza! How can you mess up such a simple task? And it wasn't even that busy. Then you're told (yes, I'll take it off the receipt), but what did you expect? That I'll pay for it? The other pizza, which was good, was cold and tasteless.

The four of us (father, mother, and two daughters aged 19 and 16) had a fantastic meal at the pizza parlors on NDSM Island. Nothing more to do, just go!

I've eaten here many times. Always good and tasty pizzas. Delicious thin crusts. Relaxed atmosphere and good service. Excellent value for money. A pizzeria that more than meets my expectations.

I usually go in the off-peak hours for a GIALLA pizza and so far have never been dissapointed, firnedly service and they serve a dough for the kidz to make their own little pizza and they actually bake it, the kids were very happy! The tiramisu used to be better but remains "above average" considering Amsterdam range.

Great! The pizza is very authentic and delicious. Service can be a bit slow sometimes, but it's also the summer days, so it's simply busier. The drinks are also very well made. I'm very happy with the pizza makers. When I eat out, I come here and practically nowhere else. Affordable yet a good dining experience. The location is also great. Close to the water (IJ).

Great pizza, very good quality and various selection of fresh ingredients, also for vegetarians. They have excellent Burrata. Spacious modern restaurant with stunning view . Service was friendly and helpful.

I come here about once a month with old friends. The atmosphere is always good, and the pizza is delicious. Authentic brick-oven pizza. The drinks are also good, and the location is prime. For Amsterdam, it's also a reasonably priced place to dine. There are a few service staff, though, so it can sometimes take a while to get your drinks. Thanks for reading.

De Pizzabakkers is always incredibly delicious, no matter where you're at. Absolute favorite pizzas are from here! The staff is very friendly and always comes over for a chat. It's a beautiful location on NDSM 50 that's easily accessible by public transport, ferry, or bike.

We waited quite a long time for 3 pizzas, they were delivered cold and the taste was lacking. I wouldn't go here again.

Great restaurant for kids, fast service, good variety, and great pizzas. Also excellent desserts.

Nice place to sit. Close to the ferry and easy to reach from e.g. Central Station. Nearby you can park with reasonable prices for Amsterdam (something like 1.65 per hour). Furthermore, an extensive choice of pizzas and freshly baked.

Way too many tables and too close together

Terrible food – not worth the money The pizza tasted awful – bland and completely flavorless. When you order a Coke, you should at least be told that it’s not real Coke but some horrible-tasting alternative. All in all, absolutely not worth the money. This has nothing to do with proper Italian pizza. I asked and ordered a Coke Zero & received the Italian brand. You should brief your waiters to give a hint upfront. Also the Greek pizza with pine, goat cheese and spinach had tomatoa sauce on it. Didn't mix well at all.

I sat on the terrace for 30 minutes. In the sun so it wasn't completely wasted time. Too bad I was apparently invisible because no one came to take my order. The group next to me was helped normally. After half an hour of sunbathing I got up and left.

Unfortunately, all four pizzas we ordered were a disappointment. The dough was far too thin and lacked substance, and the toppings were completely flavorless. Even the Margherita pizza—which should be a reliable classic—was poorly done. If a restaurant can’t get the basics right, it’s a serious red flag. Charging €11.90 for a Margarita of this poor quality is quite honestly, unacceptable. Our waitress was nice, but clearly not trained for the job. When we asked for a recommendation, she wasn’t able to offer much help. The only redeeming part of the meal was the tiramisu. It wasn’t amazing, but compared to the pizza, it was a clear highlight. This was the second restaurant we’ve tried on the NDSM wharf, and once again we left disappointed. Save yourself the trouble—hop on the ferry and head back to the city center for better food.

The Girl (she was very nice and professional by the way) couldn't do anything about it but stood alone in a whole place including the terrace... so it took hours, tables didn't look good, etc. This has been going on since they opened... even if you order it can take hours, which is a shame because the pizzas are delicious.

It's very dirty here, especially the tables. The waiter guy brought the dish as if he was doing me a favor, he didn't even look in my direction. He brought me dinner, but the table was not cleared from previous customers, and not only my table. The serving is a whole other story. There was short hair in tomatoes. I didn't even order dessert because it was very unpleasant to be surrounded by such dirt and ridiculous presentation. I think you should look for a better restaurant to eat.

We were there for dinner on a Saturday evening. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired: we had to wait a long time at the entrance without anyone feeling responsible. After ordering, there were several problems - three pizzas were missing the desired toppings, so we had to reschedule at short notice. A small gesture from the house as an apology would have been appropriate, but unfortunately it didn't materialize. But the employees were always very friendly! Otherwise the taste is good.

Yesterday I tried the pizza and it was the best pizza I have ever tasted in my life. Today, unfortunately, was very disappointing. The dough was poor, there was no flavor, and the cheese was falling off. I do not recommend it.

If you hire kids please have an adult to look after them. 1hour and 15 minutes to get a starter and the place was not even half full. Only a rude answer when asking where it was. Will not visit again.

We were in Noord and were craving pizza. Perfect timing, because we found the ideal combination: an attractive restaurant with terrace and pizza during sunset. The service was very friendly. The pizza? Crunchy base, well topped, and great taste. Not the best ever, but definitely worth it if you're in the area. Small sidenote: they don't sell 'real' Coke, but they didn't ask. so if your team is Coca-Cola—keep that in mind.

Very nice place on the quay in NDSM but the pizzas are not necessarily tasty.

As an italian wandering through amsterdam this pizza place struck my heart amazing service and the pizza was on point absolute 5 stars

Sweet place, nice ambiente! Originally my partner and I only came here because we needed a quick toilet, but the adorable post cards on the toilet, all-gender-toilet cabin (huge plus!!) and sweet staff made me/us decide to come back later to eat here. The flavours are experimental, especially on the pizza side. We had the Tartufo and the Funghi-Pancetta one (with artichoke instead of pancetta though), and they were both great. My only issue was the "missing" tomato sauce - the menu didn't indicate it, but for it to be a *pizza* I kind of expected there to be tomato sauce on it. The food came quite quickly, and the lunch deal (with slightly smaller portions) for the pizzas worked out great for us. Would go there again, mostly for the vibes though. :)

What most modern pizza concepts do wrong, the pizza bakers do very correctly. Good food, good service and a young, fresh, sharp team that is service-oriented. This is one of the better pizza places and they make a damn good Negroni!

Pizzas were excellent, prepared with honest products. Lots of choice in ingredients, you can also choose what you want on the pizza or not. Excellent. The panne cotta for dessert was sublime, highly recommended. All in all worth it to be able to eat at a normal price. Worth repeating!

Upon entering, my girlfriend and I were welcomed by a pizza baker who radiated cheerfulness and let the pizza dough flow smoothly through her hands. It wasn't busy and we were able to find a table ourselves. There she was again the cheerful pizza baker who also took the order for the pizzas, followed by a lady from the service who took the drinks. After about 20 minutes, the pizza baker came to deliver the pizzas she had prepared. The rich pizzas met our expectations and there was nothing to complain about. After paying, we were waved goodbye again by the pizza baker and the wait staff in a very professional and cheerful manner!!

Have eaten delicious pizzas here several times now. You will come back for the good service and handling! ✨

I had never eaten at Pizzabakkers before, but highly recommended. The employees helped me very well and I received free limoncello at the end. The people in the kitchen are also standing in the kitchen with sweat and a smile, I especially saw that girl from the kitchen beaming.

*edit from November 2024* Tried eating at the branch rather than takeaway. Truth be told I still find the base is more like a pancake than a pizza base, but I guess this is personal taste (I just prefer a thick base) Having said that the taste and toppings was really good - a good combination of fresh ingredients and interesting flavours. Service was also good with servers going out of their way to answer questions. I would not recommend eating in branch though as the tables are far too close to each other (it’s a small building) so you feel you’re eating on your neighbours lap or something and it’s also super loud. Got pizzas to take away…..honestly really average, not that warm….very floppy kind of base where all the toppings slide off because the base is too floppy and there’s too much sauce. Wouldn’t get again, there’s better pizza out there to be found

I’d suggest to hire people who know how to serve guests. The Teenagers who are working here are just no attentive and in their own wold while there are not many guests.

Ate for the third time. But what was going on in this kitchen team? 3 pizzas lukewarm, 1 cold, returned it but stated that this was the way it should be done with proscuito. I always eat this pizza, without exception, but the base is never almost cold. Received a pizza that was not crispy, but warm. In Utrecht this is simply wonderfully crispy and warm. There was a long hair in the dessert. No one has apologized. If that had been done, I would not have written this review. Pizza bakers NDSM this was a shame. The wine is too expensive for a pizza chain, a regular red wine costs 6.75 (glass 1/3 full), the same applies to white wine. Charging money for lukewarm tap water is really not possible. 5 to 6 different waiters/waiters is a bit too much Pizzas are fine Thanks for the response, one more comment: You may be underestimating your customers when it comes to wine knowledge or the etiquette that comes with it. I (and many) know that a glass is not filled to the brim. In this case the glasses were one third full and the wine was of average quality.

Delicious every time and fun for our children too

Friendly service and fast service. I already had the picante gorgonzola pizza in the restaurant twice and really liked it. The third time I wanted to take 2 of them for my mother and myself, but arrived half an hour before opening time. Despite that, I was immediately helped in a friendly manner and the pizzas were great again!

The pizzas are delicious, the calzone for dessert is to die for. The limoncello and the mixed drinks with limoncello are also highly recommended. The staff is very friendly and quick. The only thing we found disturbing was the noise in the restaurant.
