Very nice place, the pizza was good, althoigh there were no salads on the menu, whoch threw me off a bit.

I had to pay extra for the anchovies on my marinara pizza. If I hadn't, I would have had a pizza with just tomato sauce and garlic oil. As you can imagine, the pizza wasn't very good. There were also fruit flies flying around our heads, and nine of them were on the empty table next to us.

Very good pizzas and friendly staff. It'd be great if we were able to get all the pizzas at the same time but happens every once in a while. Overall we had a good experience here and loved the pizzas.

Stumbled upon this fantastic place. We walked in and it dis not disappoint. Some great suggestions for pizza and wine by the waitresses. I would like to visit again to try something new from their menu.

Please, the chef and colleagues in the kitchen, taste the next CARBONARA they'll be cooking. Check to see if the eggs or pecorino have gone bad or something. I'm not the type to throw tantrums, I really don't like them, but yesterday I should have taken the dish back to the kitchen and asked to taste it. The egg and pecorino sauce had a horrible flavor that shouldn't exist in a restaurant (or even at home). I had my friend taste it because I was incredulous. He said, "It's terrible." Gentlemen, I wasn't expecting the best carbonara in the world (especially in Amsterdam), but this is about food going bad or some other reason I can't possibly pinpoint. It tasted awful, a far cry from eggs and pecorino. And I was stupid to finish the dish, not complain, pay (€20!!!), and leave. I had digestive problems for the rest of the evening, and I think things could have been worse. I'm leaving this review because it's unthinkable to serve such a dish in a restaurant (regardless of the nationality of the chefs), and I hope you'll pay more attention to the kitchen in the future. Someone else in my place would have at least called someone to say that the dish was inedible (and I'm not exaggerating). Luckily, my friend's pizza wasn't as bad. Maybe it's better if you just make pizzas and eliminate the rest from the menu.

Well, sweet girls, but the pizza is partly black on the bottom and tastes nothing special. The wood-fired oven is nice. The atmosphere inside isn't very cozy, a bit bare.

I had to wait 40 minutes for pasta in a restaurant with four other tables. The pizza arrived after the pasta had already been finished. There was no update that it was taking a bit longer, and when I mentioned this during checkout that it was very disappointing, all I got was an apology.

Had our dinner during our stay/ mini honeymoon in Amsterdam. The waitresses were kind and the food was amazing. Overall when we come back we would like to stay around the area again and eat more of their food.

Very bad experience! I showed up with a some friends and the chef immediately got upset that we are many. Anyways we sat and one of my friends is Italian and the staff talked about us in a mean way in Italian. Luckily my friend understood that and told me. We ignored that and ordered food. After dinning we asked if we can split the receipt and the chef responded to me “don’t be a smart ass”!!! Never going there again for this rude behavior.

Mangia Pizza is not the same as it used to be. They forgot our drinks, they forgot 1 out of 3 pizzas that we ordered. Pizza fritta was not very good, we had after taste of oil. I will not come there anymore

Well, first time eating here. The pizza was good. Dough just the way they like it in southern Italy. I had the Memories pizza. Nice flavor. Something with bean cream and crispy bacon. That was moderately present in quantity and flavor. The pasta Genovese was reasonable. Also bland. The pasta was good. Small portion. And all for 20 euros. Really overpriced for what you get. The staff was too busy with takeout pizzas. We had to wait a long time. Otherwise, the service was correct. The atmosphere was reasonable. Simple but okay. Conclusion: price-quality is out of balance for me. Doesn't make much of an impression.

Mangia Pizza serves some of the best pizzas in Amsterdam — truly delicious! However, on a warm day like today, the air conditioning was off, and the restaurant felt uncomfortably hot. Turning it on would make the dining experience perfect.

The pizza is good, although the dough is a bit too heavy for my taste. Very expensive.

The pizza was nice, and the montanara was really good too. However, some of the starters were disappointing. The bowl of rice and the crocchè were both tasteless — I was surprised there was no provola cheese in the crocchè! It was really dry and lacked flavour. What really upset me was the tiramisu. It had no savoiardi at all but only a thick cream with no coffee taste at all. The texture was heavy, and it felt like I was just eating spoonfuls of thick cream. It might have even been old. Overall, a very underwhelming dessert. As a local , for what we have paid there are so many others good pizzerias in Amsterdam .

We eat here regularly. It's a wonderful place to truly unwind and enjoy authentic Italian cuisine. The ingredients are Italian, and you can taste it. The food is always delicious, the service is very welcoming, and there's plenty of attention for the kids. Sometimes we have pasta, other times we have pizza. We never skip the appetizer either. The bruschettas and focaccias are truly delicious. We always order the tiramisu after every meal, which is always delicious. This is our favorite restaurant, and we'll continue to come here often. We ate in the restaurant. The staff was great and friendly. The pizzas were delicious. And of course the Birra Moretti on tap was refreshing. Tip: have a scroppino for dessert, it is also delicious.

For dessert, our favorite was the tiramisu — it was delicious, although we found the cream a bit too much. Waited over an hour for our pizza. Everyone around us had the same. Waitress only gets angry when you ask if the pizza is almost ready. Way too rude. Just say it's busy and how long the wait is instead of getting angry.

Two Marinara 🍕 + two American Pale Ales 🍺 €40, a real steal. The pizzas are not bad, well-leavened dough, well-cooked and quality ingredients, but still hasty preparation and little care in the distribution of the toppings. Not to mention that with a price like that, before the taste, even the scent of extra virgin olive oil should be felt!

I have visited vizelgracht branch and that was really good taste wise though it was a small space. This branch lacks taste. Ordered marinara and there was no garlic in it. Ordered verache and there was no seasoning . Really bad experience.

Today I ordered 2 pizzas via Uber Eats at Mangia on the Amstelveenseweg. Instead of the ordered Diavola, we got a Margherita. We called immediately after delivery, but we were first told that we had called the wrong location. After a second attempt, it turned out to be the right location after all, but then they said that no orders had been received yet, so it could not possibly have come from this location. Eventually, another story emerged: two orders were said to have left at the same time and were probably mixed up by the delivery person. However, both pizzas had our name on them, so that story was also incorrect. Unfortunately, the pizzeria itself did not want to solve anything. We had to request a refund via Uber Eats and order again, with the additional costs. Mistakes can happen, but it is a shame that they are not looking for a solution. The communication was messy and the lady on the phone tried to wave us away with conflicting stories.

After a year in Nederland I finally found a real Italian Napoli pizza. The pizza was very delicious and tasty , the service is amazing . I recommend.

Terrible value for money, the pizzas were poorly seasoned for how much I paid for them: a slice of mortadella and two drops of stracciatella for 20 euros, two slices of extra raw ham for 5 euros, pizza with only the edge and made like a lazy one. And the tiramisu? Full of cream and dry biscuit, rejected. Not to mention the service: 45 minutes of waiting. Bad memory.

Everything is amazing super delicious

We went to the pizzeria in via Vijzelgracht 33 where we ate very well, real Neapolitan pizza. Very helpful staff and pleasant atmosphere. If you want to eat real pizza in Amsterdam, this is the right place.

After i payed 17€ for a pizza , I get a pizza with the diameter of 10 cm , super small , burnt and same texture the glue

We went into this store with relatively high expectations and were not greeted very nicely, but that improved over the course of our visit (everyone has a bad day sometimes). The pizza (18.50€) and especially the drinks (0.2L Sprite 4.50€) were relatively expensive, but the pizza was also very well made. It wasn't outstanding and it was small, but it tasted great and looked great too. The ambience was also convincing, but the price was still too high in my opinion, which explains the 3 stars.

Descent pizzas and pasta, not excided

Full of hope we go to Mangia pizza because in ‘Il giornale’ an Italian newspaper for Dutch people, it says that they have won the second prize during the Dutch Championship for professional pizza bakers. We ordered 4 pizzas by phone, two calzoni and two margherite to take home. At home we opened the boxes and only then saw what they looked like. Burnt and unfortunately without taste. Too bad! And that for €63! Che scifo, incredibile. Ritorniamo mai più!

What can one say about this place other than mamamiaaa! The place is just as amazing as it can be. The highlight is the pizza dough which is on a whole new level. We tried the mortadella pizza and lasagna and both were amazing. Even better than some food that we had in Italy.

We made a reservation through their website at 15:30(google maps also said it was open at that time) but when we arrived they told us it was closed till 16:00, so we had to wait out. I sent google maps a complain asking to change it to 4pm. Hopefully they fix it! The fried lasagna was good! In the other hand, the pasta carbonara didn’t had enough sauce, so it was dry and with not enough cheese. Pizza was also dry, didn’t had cheese or sauce enough and it felt like 4 big slices of mortadella with one leaf of basil cut in 2 and a tiny bit of pistachio. I never write reviews like this but we got very disappointed as we wanted to try their famous pizzas. Because of my work I travel constantly around the world eating always out, when you pay that amount of money for those 2 dishes, even in Amsterdam, you expect to have good food with enough ingredients. We felt like they tried to cut on ingredients on the main dishes, you can appreciate it on the pictures! Sadly, I’ve been to restaurants in Amsterdam where I’ve had better pizzas for the same or a lower price.

This was the best Pizza I've ever had (and I had pizzas from Roma and Napoli). It melts in your mouth. The sauce and toppings were excellent, and they have a brick oven right there, so it is freshly baked. The place is small, quaint, and very cosy, but the service is typical Italian, slow and very slow ha ha. But I will revisit this the next time I am in Amsterdam.

delicious pizzas!! the service could probably be improved (a little warmer/smilier?). the day we stayed the bathroom didn't work and we had to go next door to use the toilet. as Italians we expected a little something to remedy this inconvenience (a coffee?) but nothing. overall good and good pizza but I don't know if I would return because service is very important to me.

Leisure weekend in Amsterdam, we had dinner in this place run by guys from Campania (Benevento) and ate a good pizza and a good potato croquette. I recommend it to everyone who wants to try a real Neapolitan pizza including beer! Price in line with the quality of service.

Super slow service, we waited 45 minutes or more and the restaurant was not even full. The waitresses didn’t speak english properly so it was hard to understand each other. The food was expensive for what you get, my pizza was supposed to be with mushrooms and had 3 small of them. Overall bad experience.
