I had to go into this pizzeria after seeing the logs burning outside. The spianata pizza was excellent, and the tiramisu was delicious and well-balanced. I highly recommend it!

They don’t follow order instructions . I asked to include an extra ingredient which I paid for, and the request was ignored. This happend via delivery so I could not complain in the restaurant. I am disappointed and will not use this restaurant again.

A must-stop whenever anyone visits, incredible food, 10/10 service. Italian food made by Italians, the way it should be! From the moment you walk in until you leave, everyone greets you with a smile and great service. The arrival of the food is the best moment of your day, or at least it always is for me when I'm here. Try the gnocchi, you won't regret it! I go at least once a month and I never get tired of going back!

I went to try the much-talked-about Mangia pizzeria, and it was absolutely worth it. To start with, the place is beautiful, clean, and very welcoming. The waitress was friendly and attentive. We ordered two pizzas(one with jamón and the other with funghi) and bruschetta as a starter. SENSATIONAL. The pizza was flavorful, light, and honestly beyond words. Really, really good. I’ll definitely be coming back with friends and family. Highly recommend!

The pizza was absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable - very friendly and patient. I also really enjoyed the Limoncello Spritz and the double espresso. The lasagna, however, was disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend ordering it.

Pizza in Amsterdam. If you're craving pizza, this is the place. Typical Neapolitan pizza with a puffy crust. The pizza was well-cooked and well-leavened. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Compliments to the owners.

One of the best Neapolitan pizzas in Amsterdam, also featured in “Top 50 Pizza”. Margherita, Capricciosa, 4 formaggi, fried calzone... you can't go wrong. Very friendly staff as well. Cons: The toilet smells bad and you can smell it in the dining area too, it’s been like this for years now – it would be time to fix it. The Coca Cola and sodas are only 200 ml, should be 330 ml. Also, personally not a fan of the new pizza names, where the Diavola is now “Habemus Piccante” and quattro formaggi is the “kaas lover” – bring back the classic names, they are just fine. 5 stars for the pizza, the rest of the experience can improve.

Well. What can you say? An Italian in the big city with a lot of competition. The pizzas look amazing. The taste and bite are the exact opposite. Just soggy, not good, not wow. Service: Friendly but phlegmatic. Ambience: Well. My local bike shop has a more atmospheric atmosphere. Price: Way too high for what they offer. Booked with a discount through a food website. I had to ask for it. Just not good. For me, they're just good box-pushers with little understanding of real Italian cuisine. I know much better places in Adam for the same price. Too bad. Missed opportunity.

Mangia Pizza truly has the best pizzas I’ve ever had. We went there randomly after seeing a few TikToks, and honestly, we were not disappointed at all. We arrived at the very last minute, extremely stressed because we were about to miss our train. What made us completely fall in love with this place was the amazing service. When we explained our situation to the chef, who was nearby, he immediately got involved and did everything he could to help us. He coordinated with the rest of the staff so our pizzas could be prepared as fast as possible. Thanks to them, we managed to order an Uber, take our pizzas to go, and eat them at the station and we didn’t miss our train. That was truly a blessing. Even in such a stressful moment, the pizzas were absolutely delicious. A solid 10 out of 10. We are back in Belgium now, and we still think about those pizzas to this day. We honestly can’t wait to go back to Amsterdam to try them again this time with enough time to enjoy them properly. I 100% recommend this place, not only for their incredible pizzas but also for their exceptional service. Go there with your eyes closed. Truly amazing. 🍕

I had to pay extra for the anchovies on my marinara pizza. If I hadn't, I would have had a pizza with just tomato sauce and garlic oil. As you can imagine, the pizza wasn't very good. There were also fruit flies flying around our heads, and nine of them were on the empty table next to us.

Very good pizzas and friendly staff. It'd be great if we were able to get all the pizzas at the same time but happens every once in a while. Overall we had a good experience here and loved the pizzas.

Please, the chef and colleagues in the kitchen, taste the next CARBONARA they'll be cooking. Check to see if the eggs or pecorino have gone bad or something. I'm not the type to throw tantrums, I really don't like them, but yesterday I should have taken the dish back to the kitchen and asked to taste it. The egg and pecorino sauce had a horrible flavor that shouldn't exist in a restaurant (or even at home). I had my friend taste it because I was incredulous. He said, "It's terrible." Gentlemen, I wasn't expecting the best carbonara in the world (especially in Amsterdam), but this is about food going bad or some other reason I can't possibly pinpoint. It tasted awful, a far cry from eggs and pecorino. And I was stupid to finish the dish, not complain, pay (€20!!!), and leave. I had digestive problems for the rest of the evening, and I think things could have been worse. I'm leaving this review because it's unthinkable to serve such a dish in a restaurant (regardless of the nationality of the chefs), and I hope you'll pay more attention to the kitchen in the future. Someone else in my place would have at least called someone to say that the dish was inedible (and I'm not exaggerating). Luckily, my friend's pizza wasn't as bad. Maybe it's better if you just make pizzas and eliminate the rest from the menu.

I had to wait 40 minutes for pasta in a restaurant with four other tables. The pizza arrived after the pasta had already been finished. There was no update that it was taking a bit longer, and when I mentioned this during checkout that it was very disappointing, all I got was an apology.

Had our dinner during our stay/ mini honeymoon in Amsterdam. The waitresses were kind and the food was amazing. Overall when we come back we would like to stay around the area again and eat more of their food.

Very bad experience! I showed up with a some friends and the chef immediately got upset that we are many. Anyways we sat and one of my friends is Italian and the staff talked about us in a mean way in Italian. Luckily my friend understood that and told me. We ignored that and ordered food. After dinning we asked if we can split the receipt and the chef responded to me “don’t be a smart ass”!!! Never going there again for this rude behavior.

Well, first time eating here. The pizza was good. Dough just the way they like it in southern Italy. I had the Memories pizza. Nice flavor. Something with bean cream and crispy bacon. That was moderately present in quantity and flavor. The pasta Genovese was reasonable. Also bland. The pasta was good. Small portion. And all for 20 euros. Really overpriced for what you get. The staff was too busy with takeout pizzas. We had to wait a long time. Otherwise, the service was correct. The atmosphere was reasonable. Simple but okay. Conclusion: price-quality is out of balance for me. Doesn't make much of an impression.

Yesterday I ate at Mangia, and it was truly delicious. The food was perfect, with portions more than enough for one person. The dough was so flavorful and well-prepared, it was a true delight. I couldn't resist taking some home, and even then, I enjoyed every bite. Mangia really knows how to make authentic and flavorful pizza. I'll definitely be back!

The pizza was nice, and the montanara was really good too. However, some of the starters were disappointing. The bowl of rice and the crocchè were both tasteless — I was surprised there was no provola cheese in the crocchè! It was really dry and lacked flavour. What really upset me was the tiramisu. It had no savoiardi at all but only a thick cream with no coffee taste at all. The texture was heavy, and it felt like I was just eating spoonfuls of thick cream. It might have even been old. Overall, a very underwhelming dessert. As a local , for what we have paid there are so many others good pizzerias in Amsterdam .

We eat here regularly. It's a wonderful place to truly unwind and enjoy authentic Italian cuisine. The ingredients are Italian, and you can taste it. The food is always delicious, the service is very welcoming, and there's plenty of attention for the kids. Sometimes we have pasta, other times we have pizza. We never skip the appetizer either. The bruschettas and focaccias are truly delicious. We always order the tiramisu after every meal, which is always delicious. This is our favorite restaurant, and we'll continue to come here often.
