Nice pizzeria with plenty of choice.

The food was delicious again. As always. The whole place was full and super busy, but the starter, main course, and dessert were delicious.

Brechje was the best waitress, super friendly, really enjoyed myself, the food was top-notch.

Not the best pizza ever, but perfectly fine and, considering the central location, very reasonably priced. We sat outside in the lovely weather. We would definitely eat here again anytime.

A very tasty pizza is served at "De Pizzeria" in Zierikzee. At around €15, the price is perfectly reasonable, and the arugula salad at €6 offers excellent value for money. The staff is also friendly and speaks English and German. Five stars are definitely warranted in my opinion.

Ordered 3 pizzas Burnt and sorry, but no replacement or compensation

A regular part of our summer holidays for the past three years. The pizza and pasta are really delicious. Even sitting inside in the height of summer, it's quite comfortable thanks to the new roof.

My favorite place for crème brûlée. Unfortunately, they don't have it anymore, but yesterday's chocolate ice cream was also very tasty.

The antipasti platter for two was delicious, especially the warm olives. My husband loved the fish pizza. I had the pasta carbonara; personally, I thought it was drowning in sauce—not brilliant, but perhaps that's how it's supposed to be. All in all, a nice restaurant with very reasonable prices; worth visiting again.

It's fine, but the times we ate here before it was much better. Definitely DO NOT order the pasta carbonara.

Nice place. Tasty fresh food, friendly and quick staff, good acoustics, clean restrooms, pleasant temperature inside when it was hot outside.

After the renovation, there is also a new menu with an even more pure Italian character. Just returned from 3 weeks in Italy and we saw a lot of that reflected, especially in the antipasti and dolci. Everything was very affordable. The (new) risotto with lemon, cream, pepper, cheese, shrimp, and fried Parma ham (twice) was a big hit. Worth recreating at home. My Pasta Inferno was also excellent. The 3 desserts were also delicious. A glass of wine with all three, and that for €94.

Nice place. It has a good atmosphere. You get served quickly. In the summer, it can get busy with tourists. Reservations are only possible for groups of 10 or more. Arriving on time helps too ;) The food is always good and tasty. Good portions. What is also very nice is that you can order a smaller portion. Wheelchair accessible, no steps. I just think there isn't a disabled toilet. But I'm not sure about that.

Every year, we go there when we're on holiday in Zerikzee. The homemade lasagna and tomato soup are especially delicious. There's never a crumb left!

Cozy and spacious restaurant with delicious pizza and friendly staff

We had a long journey behind us and wanted something to eat, but hadn't made a reservation. We were still received very hospitably and were allowed to sit at the bar for a moment while waiting for an available table. Once we had ordered, everything was on the table within 20 minutes. It was super delicious! Top-notch pizzas and the salad was also very good. The menu is very varied, and the service is excellent and efficient. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back!

We received a warm welcome together with our two toddlers. The pizzas were very tasty. The service was very child-friendly; for instance, our daughter was given a coloring page and crayons to keep herself entertained.

Pizzeria with a modern dining area for 80 people in the heart of Zierikzee. Plenty of space between tables. Fast, friendly service. Delicious dishes at fair prices. Tip: arrive at the door by 5 pm if you haven't made a reservation. Large terrace in the summer.

The pizza, risotto, and starters were very good on all three evenings. The value for money was excellent. Service was quick and friendly. I would go back anytime.

We wanted to have a quick, simple, and affordable meal together. The pizzeria seemed like a great choice. We were then amazed by the quality of the food, especially considering the price. Really excellent! I had the large fish stew for 22 euros. Very tasty. And I'd never had such a well-filled fish stew before.

WOW, I've never had such a delicious carpaccio sandwich. A feast on your plate and in your mouth. We had lunch here for the first time, and we'll definitely be back. 😊

We stumbled upon this place with a craving for pizza! We were thrilled with the appetizer and the super-delicious pizza. Since this is our first time vacationing here in Zierickzee for a few days, we can honestly say we've paid a small fortune for food elsewhere, and it didn't taste nearly as good! We'd love to come back today or tomorrow for pasta 😋👌

We were hesitant given the negative review, but we were pleasantly surprised. We've been coming here for years to visit the charming town of Zierikzee and grab a bite to eat. It's beautifully renovated, the staff is always friendly, and the pizzas are fantastic (much better than at the pop-up store). However, the reservations philosophy is a mystery to us. When we arrived, the staff said everything was booked, but after a chat with them, we were able to wait at the bar. While we were there, we saw that there were at least 10 to 14 empty seats, but customers were still being turned away. Before the renovation, reservations weren't possible, so everyone had to wait at the bar for a table, and it was always full. But aside from that, we'd happily return.

The food was very poor. Tasteless, no vegetables in the lasagna, bland pizza, and the fish dish was very small and bland. Plates weren't cleared, and we already had our main courses. There were plenty of staff, though. Stomach aches afterward. Hopefully, everything will improve soon. But we won't be back.

We went for dinner, but it was a huge disappointment. The pizza wasn't good and lacked flavor. My girlfriend had lasagna, which wasn't good either (little to no vegetables) and lacked flavor.

Italian restaurant with many options on the menu. We where highly surprised of the price/food quality ratio. Would really recommend this! It's not a tourist trap as some other restaurants in this region

Great service, friendly staff, very good pizza

The pizza was good, there were very nice pasta dishes and salads on offer, and the service was friendly. The only downside was that ingredients listed on the menu were charged extra for one dish. However, this wasn't clearly stated on the menu. So be careful here, for example, with spaghetti pesto with burrata. Half the burrata ended up being €5 on the bill. It's a pretty loud place. We'll be back.

Great place in the heart of Zierikzee. Very friendly service, and our dog immediately got a free drink. We didn't eat, but what was brought out looked incredibly delicious. We'll get the food later; I'm looking forward to it.

We've been coming here for many years, and the quality sometimes varies, but the experiences are generally good. Today we visited the renovated pizzeria again. The restaurant looks cozy, and the pizzas some of our group had were excellent. The service was friendly, not necessarily hearty. However, the pasta carbonara was—and I'm not saying this lightly—utterly inedible. Far too much cheese, so all you could taste was cheese, fat, and a lot of salt. We wouldn't be eating here again anytime soon (anytime soon). We weren't even asked if we enjoyed it, or if we had. So, we'll leave this way.

We went there for lunch in the afternoon. We had a salad, a tuna pizza, and pasta with pesto. The food was absolutely delicious. The tuna wasn't from a can! The salad was very tasty; I've never eaten anything like it. The service was very friendly, and when we asked if we could open the parasol, they immediately responded. There's a lovely place to sit inside or outside. The price for the food is reasonable. We paid €17 for the pizza, and it was well worth it! I highly recommend this restaurant!

The restaurant has become beautiful after the renovation. You can now book online, and the acoustics are perfect. The menu offers a wide selection, and all the dishes were very beautiful and delicious. The service was very friendly; we enjoyed everything.

We've been coming here for over 30 years; it was always a great place to eat pizza. Now, after reopening, what a disappointment. Thick pizza, very thick edges, no flavor in the toppings, and the vegetables on the pizza verdura weren't cooked through: hard carrots, raw zucchini. The cheese wasn't good either, and all this at high prices. No more pizzerias for us anytime soon.

Double. I've been coming here for almost 40 years (entrance via Dam Square), including a few weekly periods, and the pizzas, in particular, were definitely worth the drive to Zierikzee back then. Favorites: Umbria and Piccanta. Last visit: fried mussels: not bad, but not as good as they used to be. The dessert was very tasty, but the pizza was a real disappointment. A very (too thick) crust and the toppings were hard to find! I understand that you might want to update your menu sometimes, but make sure it's better (which is obviously harder if you're good, let's be honest!). I'll definitely try it again, but if the last pizza was the benchmark, I certainly won't be driving to Zierikzee for it again... a shame, because the staff is still friendly and the renovations are beautiful, although I think a bit of the atmosphere has been lost. But that's no problem if the pizzas are as good as ever.

The pizza was really good. We were able to eat on the small terrace. The service here is very friendly. The pizzeria is highly recommended. But you should definitely make a reservation!

We ate here last Sunday. I had the focaccia bread as a starter (super delicious) and the pasta carbonara for the main course, which was delicious!

Had dinner tonight at the new pizza restaurant. Had a fish stew which was full of shrimps, mussels, etc. was delicious, my husband's pizza was also great. Make a reservation if you want a seat. We will definitely go back.

We went yesterday. Beautifully renovated in one of the best locations in the city center. Friendly staff, fast service. And then the pizzas… 🍕 I really can't understand that they use such poorly prepared dough (ready-made?). While the other ingredients of the pizza were of top quality! I also reported this to (I suspect) the manager. Even that botched Domino's has better dough… Hopefully that will change because such a beautiful pizzeria deserves well-prepared pizzas. The dough is essential in that!

We visited the pop-up location due to a renovation of the official building, but the pop-up was a beautiful, atmospheric location. We had a delicious meal, both for main and after. Service was friendly and hard working.

It's been a long time since I ate here. In principle it was fine, the place was also quite full. However, I had a pasta of which quite a few ingredients were not on the menu. That was quite an unpleasant surprise. However, I would like to give De Pizzeria another chance.

Quickly get a drink upon arrival, then wait 45 minutes to order something to eat. Tried several times to beckon a waitress, but to no avail. We left. Went again today July 26, 2022. We thought it couldn't get any worse, but alas It was even worse than last time! This time it was too much to ask to provide 2 adults and 3 children with something to drink. I heard "I'll be right with you" 4 times, but were never served. A man and woman who came in after us and looked "a little more wealthy" were helped immediately.... Very special.

Had a wonderful meal here, as we have done many times before. The food here is always freshly prepared. The service is friendly. It is also nice that you can order a small or large portion. And if you have too much left, they ask if you want to take it home. Top.

Nice restaurant with nice and friendly service. We were a little late and the waiter and owner even came to have a chat. The food is good and the great thing is that you can also order a small version of many dishes. This makes it easier to make a combination of pasta and pizza.

We have enjoyed eating here for years and enjoyed it. Only the last time we did not like the food. We indicated this to the waiter, but received no response. Then we sent another email to indicate that the casserole we ordered was very dirty this time, there were hard pieces in the minced meat. We have not received a response to this email either. This makes us feel ignored as customers and not taken seriously and we never went there again. I have resent the email.

We came across this restaurant while strolling through Zierikzee, were given a seat at the entrance, were served nicely and the pizzas we both ate were very tasty, in a nice atmosphere, recommended.

Als je pizza wil eten in Zierikzee is dit zeker een aan te bevelen locatie . Reserveren is aangewezen in hoogseizoen want het kan er druk zijn. Lekkere pizza's en waar voor je geld ! En alles met de glimlach. Liever thuis eten dan is afhalen ook hier een optie !
