Macaroni Ham Cheese was delicious

My comment isn't being posted. Janmer. I've written so many reviews, often very good ones. If something negative needs to be said, it's rejected. Yesterday we wanted to have a drink there. The first time because we normally sit at Bickels. We always receive a very warm welcome there. Never again at Platschj. You're yelled at there, and the waitress asked if she had to hurry for me... Hello... That woman, about whom I've read several complaints, should look for another job.

Today I ate here for the first time in a long time. It was also the last time. The food wasn't good. I had a meatball baguette. You literally got a sliced-open baguette with a whole meatball in the middle that you had to cut yourself. The meatball had been microwaved. Yuck... a tiny bit of flavorless gravy with it. Otherwise, a sauce or nothing. My mother had a brie baguette. On the whole baguette were three small slices of brie and some salad. No sauces or anything. The atmosphere is cozy, but that was the only positive. The service was slow and inattentive. Way too expensive for what you get.

Makado was quite busy, so we were glad there were a few free tables at Platschj. Sitting in the middle of the open space or at the edge, where everyone was walking by, wasn't our preference. Luckily, we found a spot in a more cozy corner, so the atmosphere was good. We were immediately asked what we wanted to drink/eat. We wanted to browse first, but then we had a fairly long wait before someone came to take our order (the checkout also took a while). The food, on the other hand (coffee of the month, poffertjes, and pancakes) was on the table in a flash. The presentation of the coffee and poffertjes was neat and attractive. The taste was good, just as it should be. For a coffee or a quick lunch, this is a great place to stop.

Everything takes a very long time. Speed ​​is unheard of.

I come here often, it's the best pizza I've ever had. The Pizza Taco is incredibly well-filled. Highly recommended. You don't expect such good pizza in a lunchroom, but I've had pizza there several times now. The Salami Pizza is also delicious. Always friendly service.

I ate here tonight. The taste was good, but when I order salmon, I don't expect a 500-gram piece. A piece the size of a fish stick is very small, in my opinion. I mentioned this when I checked out, and it was taken as a given. I won't be going back.

Yesterday I had two toasted sandwiches, the cheese was absolutely inedible. We had to ask for no sauce when we complained about it... So I gave half of it back because it was so dry. I mentioned it, but I'll pass it on. You do have to pay a premium price then. Never again.

Unfriendly, rushed and staff is really rude

Very unfriendly when we arrived with two small children. People sitting at the table left and said we could sit there, but we politely waited until they were finished. Then a waitress came and told us to wait so she could clear the table. I said, "We're doing that." She was very unfriendly and rushed to take our order (not suitable for this job). She delivered the wrong orders and the prices were ridiculously high. Not going back. One waitress was very friendly (I think she was an Indian girl). Very suitable for her job. I also found the first waitress not child-friendly.

Served in a bad way, the sandwich was half broken, and the waitress who served us literally threw it on the table.

Nice place for a bite and a refreshment, Brand Pilsner on tap, great call 😀 Service was great. (Even a small on the faces, close to finishing the day).

Non-alcoholic beer and 1 sparkling water for €9.40! These are Amsterdam prices.

Grumpy waitress. We ordered apple pie with ice cream and whipped cream. They said there wasn't any ice cream. No problem. You'd expect the price to be lowered... but not at all. I find 7 euros for a slice of apple pie and a dollop of whipped cream a bit pricey.

Been there many times, always great. This time was the last time. Latte 4.60, toasted sandwich 11.50, and onion soup 11.50. It's just an indoor cafe. These prices don't belong there.

Expensive and unfriendly service

The staff wore too much smelly perfume, the zucchini soup was watery and tasted only of herbs, the ham/cheese sandwich was served with white bread but was given brown bread, the spaghetti sauce was watery and seemed to have been thawed.

Absurdly high price list. Service staff is not customer friendly. Soup for €9,- too expensive. Schnitzel for €23,- really too expensive. We had 1 Cappuccino, 1 cola, 2 pieces of pie. Total €18.10. A piece of pie €5.50?? How many pieces of pie from a pie? I think 10 pieces. So that pie brings in €55.00. What is the purchase price of that pie? I'll stop. This was our last visit here

Unfriendly and rushed staff; react rudely when you ask after 20 minutes when ordered drinks will be served while the food has been on the table for 10 minutes. Can't smile! Tables and menus sticky as well as the floor. Nobody wipes the tables with a cloth as soon as guests leave the place. In addition, high prices for simple, fast food-like dishes.

Very expensive Cup of tea + 1 hot chocolate €10.40

My friend had lunch here on March 9th. When placing her order, she asked for an allergy list, but they didn't have one. The staff checked with the kitchen to see if the salad dressing contained celery. It wasn't there...but it was. The result: she had to be given an EMP. That didn't help enough, so she was rushed to the hospital by ambulance, where she was finally allowed home 24 hours later. It's very disappointing that a restaurant doesn't know what's in its own food. Even worse, they made no attempt to contact her and ask how she was doing. As far as I'm concerned, they should close this place immediately.

Had a nice lunch at the platschj. Service is friendly and you get value for your money. We had a special grilled cheese sandwich and a gratinated onion soup with bacon. Definitely worth a visit if you just want to have lunch.

I sat for 15 minutes, tables around me were helped and I kept getting skipped. At some point I left.

My buddy and I ordered 2 pizzas. They turned out to be frozen pizzas! We also drank 2 small glasses of orange juice each. So what we paid was 2 frozen pizzas and about 6 oranges. Bill: 51 euros. 51 euros for 2 frozen pizzas and 6 oranges. We paid but I was extremely angry. Yes, the prices are known in advance, but paying this for 6 oranges and 2 frozen pizzas is a shame. I'll never eat out again!

The service is some friendly and others "normal", had to wait a while before they came to answer, but it was handled in a friendly manner, others then came bringing drinks again, the food itself, bread croquette, nicely arranged, the fries, yes, that was indeed, as previously read, in the reviews, not really great... Yesterday after shopping the two of us had something to eat here. We just wanted fries with a frikandel. (we each asked for a croquette) Then the food came....a portion of fries that comes with a children's menu. Luckily I grabbed a croquette because it was very poor. People don't ask in between if everything is to your liking. Ultimately paid....well over 34 euros for 'a children's menu' in my opinion and 2 drinks. When we indicated to the waitress that there were very few fries, we received the answer from her that some people think they are too many and others think they are too few. What an answer!!! So no, next time just go to the snack bar on the corner. I can eat my fill there for a lot less.

Very disappointing. The food was ready very quickly but tasted of nothing. The onion soup contained large chunks of onion and the patty came with very few fries. The staff may take a customer service course. The lady who served didn't say boo or bah and when we asked for the bill she came back and very demonstratively put the sign with the bill on the table and a "reserved" sign. The hint was clear; get along. We will never come back here again. It shows courage to treat customers this way, knowing that a few meters away there are two restaurants that are customer-friendly. Cozy place, good prices and friendly service. The coffee (Douwe Egberts) tastes great and the apple pie is also recommended. The presentation is very good, especially considering the price!

Gyros dish....gyros was warmed up. Not fresh, it was lukewarm. Souvlakis not fried enough, still red on the inside. Staff also doesn't pay attention to whether anyone needs anything No attention for the customers at all

We have eaten at De Platschj several times and have been served by an older lady each time. Unfortunately, our experience was consistently disappointing. The service was quite surly and rushed; We were asked without any look or good morning what we wanted to drink before she quickly walked away. The result was that we had to quickly call her back because we also wanted to eat something. That felt very unnatural in a restaurant. This lack of kindness was a recurring pattern. Although the food itself was fine, we decided to skip this restaurant from now on due to the poor service. While we understand that everyone can have a bad day sometimes, there seems to be a structural problem here. Even at checkout we were ignored without a glance as we walked past her.

On Sunday we thought we would have an ice cream. Unfortunately, due to crowds, no ice cream was sold. Quite an irregular affair, but warm apple pie with ice cream and warm sauce.

Had a hot meal at half past four on Friday afternoon. Shoarma dish was bad meat, lots of soft fatty pieces in between with many small too hard pieces of meat, tsaziki sauce was much too thin, and everything was lukewarm, poorly eaten. The time before was also much less than usual. Staff is very inattentive and quite surly 😞 too bad we always loved coming here. But quality and service are declining rapidly.

Unfortunately the sandwich was really bad, the cheese was not melted and the crust was very soft. Definitely not worth 7.50. In addition, the staff did not pay any attention at all and had to call out 6 times before we could order and up to 4 times to pay.

The quality reminds me of a truck restaurant from the 80's... out of step with the times. Everything can be called mediocre.

Today we took a seat with 6 people... 3 of them wheelchair bound. Neatly asked if we could add a table that was still available... no, we could sit somewhere else. Great move with all your belongings. Since the tables were very far apart, they were placed a little closer together. After all, we want to have lunch together. An employee responded very unfriendly that the tables had to be as they were otherwise they would have no place to walk. Very customer friendly! Then we ordered drinks, but no one came to ask if we wanted to order anything else. Finally called myself. Got the food 20 minutes later. And the service is still very unfriendly. 65 euros was paid and then someone immediately shouted. And please put the tables back... And that while all the crockery was still on them. We won't have lunch here next time. A little customer friendliness would be appropriate. Not recommended !

Lunchen met Cappuccino en een broodje Cappuccino smaakte naar melk, er zat slechts een wolkje koffie in. Broodje chiabatta met brie… op de vuist gegeten want het scherpe mes kwam er niet doorheen. Sla leek verlept door de dressing. Smaak was wel oké.

Al 35 jaar eet ik bij de platschj de bekende koude schotel. Altijd overheerlijk met verse rauwkost en stokbrood. Deze moet je echt proberen. Ik heb hier in al die jaren alleen maat dit gerecht besteld want het is mijn lievelingskost. Op vele andere plaatsen geprobeerd maar bij de platschj seelt het boven alles uit. Ik hoop hier nog jaren te mogen genieten.

Vorig jaar heerlijk gegeten. Bediening was goed. Vandaag 20 minuten moeten bedelen om te mogen bestellen. Dan is de friet niet warm en niet helemaal gaar. Bediening liet zwaar te wensen over. Tenslotte bijna een kwartier moeten bedelen om te mogen betalen. Nee zwaar teleurgesteld vandaag

Wij zijn vanmiddag bij jullie geweest met onze afdeling St Theresia van de Zonnebloem uit Maastricht. Iedereen was erg tevreden: lunch was goed verzorgd. Janet, de medewerkster die ons begeleid heeft, heeft het goed gedaan: Chapeau. Ook de andere medewerksters hebben ons goed ontvangen. Volgend jaar komen we terug!

Gingen hier zitten ligt een ijskaart dus wij denken lekker een ijscoupe te nemen ,na lang wachten kwam er eens iemand en zei op een niet zo vriendelijke manier dat ze geen ijs deden op het moment,dan maar koffie en thee, duurde weer een tijd. Bij het afrekenen,pinnen, bleef ze echt wachten totdat wij zouden doe maar een fooi erbij,dus niet. Denk niet dat we hier ooit nog wat gaan drinken

Lekker eten. Alleen krijg je vaak iets te veel op je bord naar mijn mening. Wel kwaliteit eten.

Netjes maar niet goedkoop. Vriendelijke medewerkers. Sfeer een beetje als in een cafetaria.

Opzich prima voor een lunch maar de bediening gaat niet vlekkeloos. Fouten maken kan maar gezien hier al eerde r mensen over geschreven hebben is het zonde dat ze dit nog niet hebben opgepakt/verbeterd. Kwaliteit van eten was naar wens

Leuk (ouderwets) eettentje. Aardige en vriendelijke medewerkers. Lekkere tosti met brie besteld en verse jus d'orange.

Ondanks de drukte goed en lekker gegeten. We hadden 2 pizza's die we gedeeld hebben. Personeel was vriendelijk, snelle bediening... wij komen zeker terug!

Wij hebben de huisgemaakte erwtensoep en spek met brood gegeten bij Platschj. Deze smaakte heerlijk! Soep was rijkgevuld en goed warm. Personeel vriendelijk. Locatie best leuk om eens te vertoeven

Nieuwe review: Wafel met vers fruit valt heel erg tegen. Veel appel en bessen die er op de foto totaal niet bijstaan. Franse uiensoep met daarop bijna een blok kaas. Smaak is goed presentatie en geschepte verwachting worden niet nagekomen. Jammer maar het was voorheen veel beter. Misschien door drukte de kwaliteit uit het oog verloren? 3 jaar geleden was de volgende review van mij: Net gegeten. De bal gehakt uit eigen keuken was wel erg lekker:) bediening zeer vriendelijk. Komen ook regelmatig kijken of nog alles naar wens is. Voor mij een plek om vaker heen te gaan.

Niets te klagen over de platsj makado maar de corner Matheo ook in makado. Daar vandaag geweest voor eenvoudig frietje. Wilde zuurvlees erop maar kreeg als antwoord " is zonder vlees " vroeg toen om goulash kreeg als antwoord " ja, maar die is koud " dus gewoon frites mayo. Daar hoef ik niet meer voor naar Beek te komen. Vriendelijke mensen zijn daar niet meer, lijkt erop of ze met tegenzin werken.

Eten en koffie lekker vriendelijk personeel op 1 (Indische) vrouw na die zeer onvriendelijk en nors was

Zeer vriendelijk personeel, de eerste keer dat ik eten en drinken bestelde werd alleen de drank geserveerd en geen eten. Uiteindelijk wel goed geholpen door een andere serveerster.

Supervriendelijke bediening en heerlijk eten voor tussendoor het winkelen

Gemoedelijke brasserie met gezellige uitstraling naar in het Centrum Makado rond te hebben gewinkeld kun je hier de rust nemen voor 'n kopje koffie ☕ of uitgebreid eten 🍲

Kwamen er regelmatig. Maar denk nu de laatste keer. Het is erg rommelig, en voor de tweede keer last van die vreselijk harde muziek. Daar waar we anders zo van genoten, van de mooie op de achtergrond goede muziek. Dus denk de laatste keer. Op zoek naar iets anders,maar dat wordt niet meer in de makado.

Vriendelijk personeel. Heerlijk eten, goeie tosti's, lekkere pastijtjes, lekkere pannekoeken of poffetjes voor de kids. Op regenachtige dagen erg druk en duurt het wat langer. Logisch. Altijd gezellig bij de platschj, niks op aan te merken.

Het begon goed, de serveerster was vrij vlot met opnemen en brengen van het drinken. De fout die wij maakte is niet gelijk het eten te bestellen. We hebben 3x gevraagd of we wat konden bestelen. 1x werden compleet genegeerd 2x kregen we het andwoord er komt zo een collega. De collega's waren waarschijnlijk druk of het totaal vergeten. Maar eten hebben we niet kunnen bestellen. Zelfs toen we vroegen of we konden afrekenen zou er zo een collega komen. Hebben uiteindelijk een serveerster aangesproken dat we wilde afrekenen. Dat kon maar kreeg het idee dat ook niet echt werd gewaardeerd.

Een gezellige nette lokatie. De cappuccino vinden we als cappuccino drinkers te sterk, jammer.

Je zit er goed.prima bediening en prima koffie met gebak.lunch ook prima

Fijn om er te zitten als we hebben gewinkeld !lekkere wafels (met slagroom) en ook lekker eten broodjes tot warm eten en de soep is er wel lekker vooral de brocolie (maar ik geloof dat ze deze niet meer hebben)

Gezellig terras/café. Nette prijzen. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk!
