We visit many places, but we hadn't known this one yet. What a lovely experience and delicious food. There are those places where everything is just right, and this is certainly one of them! Until next time.

Had a delicious meal here tonight, great menu and good and friendly staff. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant.

We had lunch here last year and dinner later on, and were really satisfied. We went again just now and the prices were disappointing. I understand that you have become more expensive too, but a burger on a bun with bacon and cheese and some other things... and a very small salad roll... asking 19.95 for that?!? We won't be coming back.

We had a delicious meal at De Postkamer. The food was good and beautifully presented. We found the choice for vegetarians a bit limited, though. The service was friendly, although the second round of drinks took quite a while to arrive. Otherwise, a pleasant experience.

On Sep 5, 2026, we had another delicious meal with friends. And once again, we enjoyed the food and the excellent service from Amber and Jeffrey. A great restaurant.

Dining out with a group. Only one vegetarian dinner on the menu. We were asked to serve something deep-fried instead, considering fries are being served with everything anyway. There was no option for this. It wasn't possible. A significant failure was made here regarding customer service. In short, disappointed.

The worst restaurant in the Veluwe We ordered a burger but received a patty of minced meat from a wholesaler for 20 euros, and because it was busy, we were put in an almost empty reception hall, which was incredibly disappointing and we really felt ripped off.

A nice place to enjoy a meal in the center of Heerde. De Postkamer is located in a beautiful and characteristic building and has a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. The terrace, in particular, is a lovely spot to sit quietly. The food was good and the portions were decent. The service was also friendly, and the atmosphere completed the experience. The menu offers plenty of choice, ensuring there is something for every taste. All in all, we had a pleasant evening and it is certainly a great restaurant to return to!!!

Everything is very well organized.

We have eaten there a few times already; the food is good and the staff is friendly. We ate there again on Sunday; it was perfect again.

We sat on the terrace, which is situated along the road through the town center. Despite this, you have a beautiful view of the greenery, which creates a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and the service was excellent. The food offers good value for money. What particularly struck us is that you do get a generous portion of vegetables here. At many restaurants, this is often limited to just a tiny bit, but here the quantity is truly balanced with the rest of the meal. Furthermore, unlimited fries were included. In the end, the first portion was enough for us, as the main course was more than sufficient. All in all, a very pleasant experience. We will definitely come back here again if we are in the area.

Very cozy and friendly staff. The food was tasty. I do have one minor point, though, and that is the choice of vegetarian dinner. There is only a choice of two main courses, and I find that very limited. We had the vegetable strudel with spinach, sweet potato, and ricotta, and that is highly recommended!!

Never give 5 stars, then they might start resting on their 😉 (it is actually worth it) but we had a delicious lunch, plenty of choice and the tastiest hot meat sandwich in ages‼️👍

The food was okay, and the service was friendly too, but could be a bit more proactive and faster... unfortunately, there was little atmosphere in the back.

Great. The dishes are beautifully presented, and they certainly don't skimp on the size. The service is also very attentive without being intrusive. As far as we are concerned, that is how it should be, and all for a reasonable price.

I ended up here via Google Maps. It looks nice from the outside (large patio, which is currently closed in February). Inside, it has a cozy, warm atmosphere. Very attentive service from Jeffrey, a solid 10!! I had a cappuccino and a salmon grilled cheese sandwich, which was delicious. There's something for everyone on the menu: sandwiches, toasted sandwiches, soup, omelets, chicken satay, etc. Clean place, including the restrooms!

This restaurant in Heerde is much larger than its appearance might initially suggest. It has a good menu and very friendly and efficient staff.

Highly recommended. We dined here with eight people. The seating was cozy and the staff were friendly. The main course and dessert were more than enough per plate. The surprise was a liqueur tasting...how wonderful! We were very satisfied and will definitely be back.

The food is good and tasty and the service is fine, but if you eat for almost 400 euros and there is no carafe of water on the table (only if you order a bottle of wine) that is of course no service.

What a positive experience! We enjoyed a delicious lunch on the beautiful terrace. Compliments to the beautiful planters, which almost make you sit among the flowers. The mustard soup, omelet, and brie sandwich were excellent. The two young ladies who served us were a breath of fresh air. They knew what they were talking about and were very helpful. They politely asked if we wanted a (short) break after the soup. Treat these gems with care! We don't live nearby, but we'll definitely try to come back.

We had a wonderful meal and thoroughly enjoyed the three courses. The tasting menu looked great and tasted fantastic, with a nice variety of appetizers, all well-seasoned. For the main course, we had a schnitzel, served with delicious beans and carrots underneath and mushrooms and cheese on top. The side dishes were also delicious, especially the apple compote. Finally, we had a delicious Toblerone mousse, which was also beautifully presented. Furthermore, the service was excellent, friendly, and went above and beyond to please our guests!

This is the second time we've stopped here on one of our bike tours. Very friendly service, super fast service, and a relaxed atmosphere. If we're ever in Heerde again, we'll definitely come back. We came back on June 21, 2025, "with our bikes." We're always happy to come back. Top-notch service and a great location.

Price/quality ratio is not right. You notice that the quality of the food is not high, but you don't notice that in the prices. Brie sandwich was tasteless and was served cold. When they brought a new brie sandwich there were almost no pecans on it.

Tijdens het serveren van ons drankjes, (biertje en frisdrank), een wijnglas van de dienblad van de serveerster afgegleden en in duizend stukken gevallen op onze tafel en op de grond. “ Ik dacht het al” was haar reactie. In het vervolg was ze ook erg onklantvriendelijk , we zaten onder de glas en wijnrestjes maar geen excuus of wat dan ook aangeboden. We voelden ons erg opgelaten door het personeel. We komen hier nooit meer terug.

We eat here very often and enjoy it. Staff always very friendly. Food tasty, but vegetarian options could be a bit more creative. What I do find annoying, and somewhat inhospitable, is that it is almost impossible to just get a bottle of tap water with dinner. While we just order wine and beer, and are now regular customers.

Fine, but not very surprising. Standard chicken satay, burger and steak. However, you can simply order extra bicycle or lettuce at no extra cost and you will receive a liqueur to taste with your coffee. Good atmosphere, pleasant and good service.
