Nice all-you-can-eat place. Good food... we were there a while back on a weekday and everything was super good then. Now we were there with family on Saturday and it was mega busy. Because of this, there was a very long queue at the griddle. You have 2 hours, so it's not nice when you have to wait 20 minutes for a steak. Otherwise, everything you can get from sushi and hot dishes is available in abundance.

A fantastic buffet restaurant. We have to drive quite a way to get there (45 min), but it is always worth it! Good sushi. Dishes are refilled frequently. The grill and hotplate are incredibly tasty. What makes Veluwse Berg especially nice is that they have meat and fish choices that are a bit more upscale (goose, wild boar, venison, scallops, cod, etc.).

This restaurant has a cozy atmosphere. Very friendly staff, very hospitable. The food is delicious, the selection is huge. It never gets boring. We try to come as often as possible. The bill is usually printed out as soon as we enter. We reserve for 3 hours, but if we stay shorter, we only have to pay for the time spent, and we certainly enjoy ourselves. More than enough choice. If I have to make one comment, it is that because I don't drink alcohol, I would appreciate it if there was a bit more choice in non-alcoholic beers. For example, a non-alcoholic Trappist. But otherwise, there is plenty of choice when it comes to drinks. Also fresh orange juice.

What a fantastic experience at this restaurant. Every single dish was delicious, and the variety on the plates is truly impressive. I especially enjoyed putting together my own courses, with the fresh shrimp and the various sushi options really standing out. Everything was prepared fresh and with great flavor. I was also very pleased with the dessert; the small glass with the pink chocolate curls was a particularly lovely addition to the buffet. We would love to come back here again.

We visited here for the first time last Saturday. What struck us was the service upon entry; it was truly top-notch and, above all, very friendly. However, when we wanted to get food from the grill, we were completely ignored. The Dutch man at the meat grill showed no interest in helping us, and at the fish section, it took half an hour before we were served. It is, of course, a two-hour all-you-can-eat experience, but we were unable to make use of it at all. I only managed to get two plates: one of salmon and some fries with salad, and my husband got ready-made meals that were lukewarm. At the sushi section, there was practically nothing left. Unfortunately, we were also only able to get drinks once. Due to the crowds, you could also tell that people were quite irritated and would just deliberately shove you aside. People obviously can't know from the outside what I have, but as an MS patient, I wasn't very steady on my feet. You can imagine that we also found the price of €91.90 very outrageous for something we didn't even use. We also reported this to a nice lady at the service desk. Unfortunately, no compensation whatsoever. Sadly, never again for us! The concept for grilled meat and fish could also be much better; for example, placing trays of meat and fish so that customers can put it on a plate themselves and then hand it to the chef. This works much better and more efficiently, and you get served much faster.

It is always busy there, but there is so much choice and food, and it is so delicious!

We have made a reservation for May 2, 2026, for 52 people and 1 child for our 50th wedding anniversary celebration. De Veluwse Berg has a separate hall for this purpose, a section of which we were able to reserve for ourselves. The staff was friendly and super helpful. Everyone enjoyed the culinary delights, and there were plenty of soft drinks and alcoholic beverages.

Really just another one of those dime-a-dozen all-you-can-eat restaurants. Neat and clean, but it was very busy when we were there. A lot went wrong at the wok station; the cook was lost. Everyone just got whatever they wanted; I got my sister-in-law's food and vice versa. A shame, once and never again.

We have eaten here 3 times now. What struck us, and what we greatly appreciated, was the spacious arrangement of the tables and chairs, ensuring you don't slide back and end up sitting on your neighbor's lap. The food was perfect and good, with more than enough choice and no empty shelves, but well-stocked. We have had various cuisines, but this one stands head and shoulders above the rest; it is easy to reach and has plenty of parking space. Additionally, we had a guest with a gluten allergy, and dishes were specially prepared for this person in a separate pan and area.

We ate at your place for the very first time, and what a treat it was! There is a very wide selection of meat, sushi, salads, and much more. Even though the restaurant was incredibly busy, that absolutely did not spoil the fun. Of all the all-you-can-eat restaurants we have visited, you stand head and shoulders above the rest. In two weeks, we will be coming back all the way from Ridderkerk especially for this. See you then!

We went out for dinner with a large group, and it was truly amazing! For an all-you-can-eat restaurant, this one definitely belongs in the top tier. The food is fresh and very tasty. It is very busy, but that is a good sign.

Went out for dinner with my wife; the tables are so close together that you can hear everything your neighbors are doing. If you have to squeeze between tables to get food, your backside scrapes against the other table. The wine is from barrels and undrinkable; the Gerardus specialty beer from Lidl isn't really top-notch either... a shame. I must say that the grilled meat was good, but unfortunately for us, it was a one-time thing.

First and last visit to De Veluwse Berg in Heerde. We sat at a table for four with five people, which was very cramped. The buffet seems extensive, but the hot dishes were lukewarm. Only the wok and grill were properly hot. The meat was cut in between courses to check if it was cooked, which did not give an appetizing impression. The “play area” is misleading: a small room with one climbing frame and screens that didn't work. Otherwise, mostly payment machines. Hygiene left much to be desired. Toilets were dirty; in the men's toilet, there was even feces next to the toilet. I got stomach cramps during the meal, and after returning home, my boyfriend and I became ill. This seems possibly related to our visit. No repeat visit for us.

Tables too close together, food cold or overcooked, very unfortunate, especially for the rack of lamb and the steak.

We had an incredibly delicious meal. A huge selection. Beautiful cuts of meat, a large sushi section, you can tap your own beer and wine, a cozy interior, and friendly staff. This was our first time here, but certainly not the last. There is also an extensive selection for children.

We love eating at all-inclusive wok restaurants! We've been to this one a few times, and this one is highly recommended. The food is excellent, and everything is fresh! The plates are constantly filled! In short, it's definitely worth your money! So definitely go there.

The food was okay, but I got very sick after eating the oysters. I did have some good chicken satay, and the Gulpener beer was excellent. The waitress broke the glass, and no apology was offered, which is a shame. I won't be returning.

It was busy, but you were always served quickly. It's one of the more expensive all-you-can-eat restaurants, but the quality of the food is definitely better than at other restaurants in the same segment. It's also really nice that the staff understands you and asks how you like your meat. All in all, definitely recommended.

We stumbled upon this place on Saturday night. After reading some negative reviews in recent months, we had our doubts before arriving... but we had a wonderful time! The food was delicious, fresh, and plentiful. The sushi, in particular, was absolutely delicious. A lot of people were celebrating their birthdays, and there were a few all-male groups, which could get a bit boisterous at times. But when a "birthday ice cream" came by and everyone started singing along, it was still quite funny. It didn't bother us at all, and if we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

Sorry, but you should come up with something, like setting a price for 3 hours. Two hours is a bit tight when the grill is very busy and you have to wait a long time. A true "food barn" where many people can choose their food simultaneously from a buffet, which is then prepared. There's a huge selection, and the staff is very helpful. Meals cost €45 per person, and €15 for children, including all drinks. Personally, I find the size of the place a drawback, hence the name "food barn." Because of the size, I also find the atmosphere less appealing.

After a while, we were eager to plonk ourselves down here again. It took us about an hour to get there and back. Upon arrival, we noticed the parking was already under capacity; you can't park properly. Then you have to eat. We had made a reservation in advance and asked for a quiet spot, which unfortunately wasn't possible. We were placed in a corner with noisy groups. The man behind the grill has also lost his mind. He slaps the meat on it and sprays it with his can of butter. The tenderloin I ordered medium was cut in half at the end to be cooked through. As a result, I went back to my table with a 🥾shoe sole. I took one bite and decided not to eat the rest of it for that price. This guy is on autopilot all evening and, in my opinion, lost his passion for preparing a delicious piece of meat for someone long ago. This was also the very last time we'd sit here in this mess, because that's what it is. The only focus is on clearing, filling the bins. And ramming with the food. But keeping the area around the grab bins clean? No, there's none. The sauces are baking under a warming lamp all evening. And the wok guy is making up a sauce while I order black beans and pepper sauce. And he throws in some garlic sauce on his own initiative.

The food was fine. We were seated at a table with the air conditioning on above us, which constantly smelled of tobacco, very unpleasant. My partner wanted a drink with Bacardi and was given a very small amount in a large glass, barely 1cm thick. He told us he thought it was very small and that he would find it ridiculous to be charged €5 for it (the drink prices weren't listed). When we were paying, the employee told us it would cost €5, and we expressed our disappointment at having to pay €5 for such a small amount. They ignored our concerns, and the employee told us they'd add a shot glass. This was clearly not the case. Unfortunately, this was our last time here.

The food is certainly not bad, in fact... the sushi is even delicious. The staff is professionally friendly. I can't say much about that. I was invited, by the way, so you can't be too critical. The owner has done his best to make it seem more than just the, with all due respect, "feeding shed" concept. It's a bit like the Chardonnay level in Leusden. In short, certainly not bad, but too massive and too big, and the focus is more on quantity... But as I wrote... I was there as a guest.

It's really bad that they only use one pair of tongs for the griddle and the BBQ. After the chef places the raw meat on the grill, he uses the same pair of tongs to pick up the cooked meat and place it on your plate. The 4 stars for the food go to the other products.
