The food was good, a bit pricey but what isn't these days, taste was great, meat was well prepared and portions fine. Service was great! Quickly a place and the service was great.

Ate bad duck breast, tough and very fatty and half cooked.

Friendly staff. Tasty cappuccino.

Last Friday we had a great party at the Rede. Everything was arranged down to the last detail and the food was delicious as always.

Had dinner with 8 people on Friday evening for a special occasion. Ultimately we had a pleasant evening, but that was despite the restaurant. The service was sad. Although there was a large team working in a quiet room, they were mainly busy with each other behind the bar. Drinks were not taken, the table was half cleared and the bottle of wine spilled over the table when poured. Moreover, because we were assigned a table near the kitchen, it was difficult to ignore the noise. The food we received was mostly dry and substandard. Especially for a price that is above the standard cafe. We discussed our dissatisfaction with the manager and he showed his understanding. He would have enjoyed a coffee on the house or something like that.

Restaurant looks cozy. However, food was very mediocre. Ate a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. Almost no taste. Portion is also on the small side for a 17 euro sandwich. Price-quality ratio is hard to find. The sign on the street also advertises an iced coffee, but unfortunately this was not possible because they forgot to turn on the machine. A bit dull on a busy Sunday

Booked high tea for Mother's Day, but was really disappointed. Unlimited tea and coffee but don't come by to ask if you want anything else and avoid the table. So in the end I only had 2 drinks. After 30 minutes we asked when we could expect the food because we were all quite hungry, to which the response was blunt: "Everything has to be heated up..." after 45 minutes the first dish (a soup and a small croquette). 45 minutes to heat up a soup and a croquette even though we had made a reservation a week in advance. Mimosas are sold under the guise of a “Mother's Day extra”. but afterwards they end up on the receipt under a “Mother's Day high tea” instead of the normal high tea that we had booked. So we didn't see that the mimosas were included. Afterwards the price was checked but it did not match the price on the website. Although the food was tasty, this was a real disappointment. Never again.

Great experienxe at de rede. Great place first of all, looking over at the water in the sun awesome. We had a nochito delicious very refreshing. With that we had lunch we both ordered the philly cheese steak, also very nice but for my taste a little flavourless maybe more salt or peper I am not sure. The service was also a little slow and we had to ask inside to be served but service were however very friendly and made it okay for us!

Friendly service, wide choice & delicious food

We were recommended this restaurant on the boat back from the Markerwadden. Great to be able to plop down after an afternoon of strolling in this nice tent 50 meters from where the boat arrives. Tasty food, nice staff and good service. Recommended!

We were there on a weekend on Saturday, it is better to book a table in advance , but you can do it without a reservation, we ordered 8 dishes, everything was at the highest level, everything was very tasty and beautiful. I will definitely come back to this Cafe again. For four people, together with drinks, we spent 209 euros. Good price for good tasty dishes

I come here very regularly for a mediocre lunch. Always room, food is 👌🏾, service is great, employees are always friendly!!! Possibility to sit inside or outside.

Today June 24, 2020 around 11 am, we had dinner at this company. The weather was lovely and the view makes you feel like you're on holiday. The staff are friendly and the food was superb. Went to eat at De Rede again today, April 27, 2022. This company remains our favorite place for a drink and/or snack. The food is good and the staff is friendly. Unfortunately, they do have a shortage of staff, so choices have to be made regarding staffing. In this case they had to close the terrace. Despite the sometimes longer waiting times, this remains our number 1 in Lelystad. If you are reading this and have children who are looking for a nice full-time or part-time job. At Rede Lelystad they are diligently looking for additional staff. I am not a promoter, but I am a satisfied customer who wants the best for Reason, the customer and ultimately the youth (work). Today, February 14, 2025, we had dinner at De Rede again. It is still a great opportunity to eat, we received a friendly welcome. The hostess took a genuine interest in our 3-year-old son, which made him feel heard and seen. The food was still of high quality and the atmosphere was also relaxed. Became quite expensive. Two hot chocolate per person (for 2 people) and payment is Eur 24. The new waitress is quite proactive. You haven't emptied it yet or it's there again. Shame. We loved going there! Dear @De Rede. We had 2 hot chocolate per person and actually had to pay Eur 24 in total. We had nothing else with it. We were with you last Friday morning.

This place is one of the local Lelystad gems! The food is amazing, it doesn’t have like a weird taste that you usually get with restaurants here. The waitress answered all our questions about food restrictions and they seem to take everything vegetarian VERY seriously with separate friers and all which also makes it very muslim/halal friendly. I was able to enjoy the meal with peace of mind, they are open till 11pm most of the time. They even brought us a bday surprise for a guest who was with us and it was so cute! The vibes are amazing it’s the perfect atmosphere and the prices are very reasonable with HUGE portions! We ended up ordering round 2 but this was the only pic that I had. Honestly 10 out of 10 will definitely become one of my staples in Lelystad!

We had to wait a long time for the menu and the food. The food was good. The Dame Blanche was good, but the cookie that was on the bottom of the ice cream was unedible and so tough.

Without a doubt a nice place, good food and very friendly staff, they provide that little bit extra that makes the experience even better.

Stranded in front of a closed dike... heavy rain and wind so to DeRede. Previously good experience when visiting the Markerwadden. Unfortunately, the dog is not allowed inside (it is also clearly stated). No guests yet, so we are allowed on the covered terrace and a heater is immediately turned on. First coffee with delicious pastries and then dinner at 5 p.m. We take into account any other guests who may come. Had a delicious curry and was on the way home. Compliment for the warm welcome and hospitality. This is how catering should be! Feel free to come over the dike and have a nice meal at DeRede

Spacious restaurant with a terrace. Extremely long service, we waited 45 minutes for our dishes... The dishes are good and well stocked. The ingredients are fresh. The cuisine is European: risotto, schnitzel, mussels/fries, etc. The setting is pretty. Price: 25-35 euros/dish

Actually, I always take that schnitzel... but I hear from my table companions that the rest is also good. Well, let's go then 😄

Extremely smart service that came across as passive-aggressive. All tables were dirty upon arrival. Initially brought wrong drinks, but no apologies. Food came quickly, but it was substandard. It was an attempt at fusion, but a roll of tasteless rice in nori with hard-fried fish on top is not a good idea 😔 There was also a whole pile of wakame underneath. We left as quickly as possible because it was so bad.

It is the 3rd time we have eaten here. The food was tasty. We have always enjoyed it. You can choose to sit outside or inside. I don't drink alcohol so I can ask for mojito without drinking alcohol.

I ordered food more than 60 minutes ago, but unfortunately I have not received anything yet. The staff seems disorganized and doesn't come around to keep us informed. When I asked about the status of our order, I received a vague response that it was "coming soon." However, this was more than 20 minutes ago. Although I understand that it can be busy, it is clear that the staff does not manage the crowds well. This gives an unprofessional impression, which unfortunately significantly affected our experience.

I had dinner with you on Friday with my daughter. It was delicious, worth repeating. We will be back again soon.

Delicious dinner at De Rede! We ate a starter and main course, all of which were delicious! The downside was the quantity of the starter, which meant that the main course was actually too much. Considering the delicious dishes we had, that was a real shame, so there was some leftover and dessert was not possible. We were asked plenty of times if we wanted something to drink. Furthermore, when taking our drinks, the employee asked if we wanted a bag of bread in advance. It came out a bit clumsy and personally I think it's a bit crazy to put down a bag of bread. The atmosphere in the restaurant was fine, we found it very busy for a Monday.

We went for dinner with a small group and had a nice evening because of the friendly staff and the delicious food. The menu is very extensive with prices that are on average at the lower end of what is currently charged, so that is also positive. The acoustics of the restaurant are far from ideal: the use of hard materials makes it quite noisy. Anyway, there is always something and, as mentioned, the rest is perfectly fine.

Very nice restaurant. We had a schnitzel XL with mushroom sauce, fries and mayonnaise with a small salad. All in all 9.5 out of 10.

Nice restaurant food was ok. Fries were not cooked properly and were very limp. And the knives for cutting the steak were not suitable for this, you simply pulled the meat apart.

The location is fine and is almost directly at the harbor. However, we quickly noticed that some things here are very overpriced. Drinks are served in miniature format, 0.2 liters around four euros. Unfortunately my burger was served with bread from the day before yesterday and unfortunately the bread wasn't fresh. In general it's just not tasty and it resembles a fast food shop with overpriced drinks!

We really enjoyed our dinner! The food we ordered were very well served, cooked and delicious: from the ribeye, the pooled pork to the kids pasta bolognese. Was a nice dine in in a nice atmosphere. The employees were friendly. Is a bit pricey but worth it (tasty food and a bit bigger portion than usual) Compliments to the chef!! Recommend!

Nice terrace in a nice place. Orders don't always get through properly - repeatedly - but otherwise very friendly. Food very tasty. Apparently also a children's menu, but it was not offered to us with small children.

Great place for a drink or snack

Steak was of very poor quality and the spare ribs were simply not cooked enough so that they just fell off the bone. The worst part was the service. There are plenty of people walking around, but no one really pays attention to what's happening. Hand signals are ignored and tables are not cleared. It's bad that you have to get up to inform the waiter that you would like service. In summary, disappointing and certainly not worth repeating.

So gross, just hunks of meat!!!!! and don't eat dry sushi rolls. My children then asked for broccoli for a week after this complete arteriosclerosis. Bad!!!! Nice service. And the bread from the garbage bags wasn't bad either. In short, a restaurant in Lelystad!!!!!
