Whenever I eat sushi somewhere else I always regret not eating at the sushi girls.

Sushi was really delicious and served very quickly. The personnel at the beginning were having a weird attitude, which luckily improved over time. They made a mistake in my order, but immediately also offered an extra roll to make up for their mistake. Places is very small, and there are not a lot of tables to sit down, but if you are with two then it will work out.

I've ordered sushi here a couple of times, and it's sooooo good. The vegan options are great, I would recommend the veganista box and the paddorol.

(4.5 stars). We had received a credit voucher since last time it had not gone as we would have liked. I thought it was very nice of the Sushi Girls, and the food was also very tasty. Delivery was also on time.

I am extremely disappointed with this sushi. I paid €7 for 6 pieces through Too Good To Go, which were supposed to cost €20 according to the menu. The portion was ridiculously small, overpriced, and absolutely not worth it. This place is completely unreliable, and I would not recommend it to anyone. I will never order from here again – terrible experience!

Ordered and picked up sushi for 2 people (€68.20) because we had something to celebrate. We thought it was mediocre. Barely got it out of the box. Lots of wakamé and a crappy little box of ginger. We won't do that again. Shame!

The sushi was not rolled properly. It almost fell apart and the rice was too mushy. Not what I'm used to from them.

This was so delicious again! We usually order and that is always great. Last Friday we went to the cozy restaurant again. The service was super sweet and helpful. Sushi fresher than fresh! Cozy atmosphere, nice chairs. In short, we will be back very soon :)

I went there for the first time and it is not recommended. Unfortunately I miss friendliness & hygiene. I suspect that the place needs a makeover and when I read the reviews, I unfortunately read disappointing customers.

I have been a regular “takeaway” customer at the sushi girls for years. This time I was really disappointed for the first time. The sushi girls are not cheap, but I am happy to pay for quality. Now there was just a complete lack of quality. The sushi did not taste fresh, the seaweed salad was not fresh green but slightly brownish and there was no sushi with tuna on the menu. Moreover, I ordered the same amount as always, but I actually received much less sushi! We had to order somewhere else and came to the conclusion that it was tastier there. It's a real shame, but for me it was the last time I picked up food from here.

Great vegan options! Had the Veganista menu, it was flavourful and fresh! Ordered online and the delivery guy was friendly and on time (was a time scheduled delivery) . Highly recommend

Some sushi had more than 5 different ingredients... there is no sashimi... my conclusion is that there is a lot of attention to the presentation and no attention to the taste. If you are looking for sushi then you have to look further.

I have been a customer here for years, but I have just had a disappointing experience. The poke bowls have unexpectedly been significantly reduced in size and the proportions between the ingredients have also become much poorer. 15 bucks for a poke bowl with mainly rice and a little fish, no thank you. In addition, the sushi was not rolled properly, way too many eggs on top and tempurah was tough. All in all, not the quality it was, too bad!

had dinner at the Prins Hendrikstraat location. we had a fairly extensive platter with many different sushis and a side dish of your choice. It turns out that you have to pay for that side dish 'of your choice'. It is not listed as such and that is a shame. It adds to the feeling of having eaten quite okay sushi, but when you get the bill you realize that it is all too expensive. almost 12 euros for 2 bottles of beer, come on. The shusis were okay, but not more than average to be honest. We expected something more special. in short, not a good 'price-quality' ratio. in plain English: too expensive for what you get. And then you're just on a street somewhere in the Zeeheldenkwartier, not really an AAA location. initially gave a 2** rating, but I am now changing this to a 1* given the total denial and ignorance of 'the owner'. Good luck with your formula...

We had dinner here. The atmosphere was nothing special but ok. Service was friendly. The sushi was good, but not special. The bowl, however, was very disappointing! The salmon tartare only tasted like mayonnaise and was overall very dry without any sauce. We are used to much better things from other restaurants!

We had the Sushimix for two people and two beers and it was about 64€. The waitresses were really nice!

I ordered through Toogoodtogo so cannot say the names. But they tasted amazing! Definitely looking forward to trying more. And the staff were also quite friendly.

Just bad. Salmon poke is full of fish eggs, very little vegetables, almost no rice and the salmon tartare it supposedly has it's just 99% mayo and 1% of the soul of the salmon. Seriously I couldn't taste ANY salmon. The spicy salmon maki is similar. Where is the salmon? It's just not there, go to Sushi Lola instead.

Had sushi several times and always satisfied with the quality. The last time something went wrong with the order, but they resolved it very quickly in a very customer-friendly manner. Great job

Very tasty food. I’ve had their poke bowls a few times now, good variety and fresh. Always leaves me with a happy belly. The waitresses are nice and attentive too.

Super nice sushi bar. I came there with my husband on a Wednesday evening and it was quite busy even then. Currently I can't eat raw fish, so in terms of sushi I didn't find many options. What I liked most was the kimchi. I think it's homemade. The beans were also really delicious and the chicken 🤤.

Nori was chewy, and overall quality was below average.

We reserved a table for 8:15 p.m. via the website with the note that the kitchen closes at 9:00 p.m. So far so good. We arrive at 8:15 p.m. and are told, not particularly politely, that the kitchen has already closed and before we could ask, the waitress had disappeared again. We then went to a really great Thai restaurant :)

This place has wrong opening times. I was there at 20:55 and I was refused food service. And the waitress was rude just telling me cheap excuses for posted opening times until 22:30. Probably the manager was OFF today and the kitchen decided to close early.

Worst sushi ever! Rice was bad, Ebi shrimp was old, and tasted of nothing. While waiting I could look into the kitchen and see that the employee was putting something in her mouth with the gloves that the sushi is rolled with, so hygiene is also lacking. All in all, very poor price-quality ratio!

Gegeten bij valkenboskade. Eten was lekker maar niet bijzonder, rijst proefde aan de koude kant. Ik kwam hier vroeger altijd en was echt fan maar de sushi is niet meer zo bijzonder als vroeger. Toen was het ge-wel-dig, nu was het ok. Zal er niet gauw meer een uur voor in de auto stappen.

Went for dinner today, been there once before and the food was delicious. Today the food was fine but not special. However, the atmosphere was greatly spoiled by an employee. The tall boy with a tail chattered throughout the whole thing, making it barely possible to have a conversation. We were the only table, later other people came in. Then it subsided a little, but this boy remained very disruptive. For example, this boy made statements such as that the sushi is not fresh. A colleague then said 'shhh' but unfortunately we could hear this. As a customer you will then look at the company in a completely different way. The food was otherwise fine, but the quality was a lot better about 4 months ago. Dessert, however, was a disaster! We wanted macarons, which were on the menu. It turned out that it had not been available for almost 2 years, just like the macha latte. Ordered mochi, it was completely frozen and therefore unedible… When you ask for the bill you then have to wait another 10 minutes and they come with a receipt that is incorrect. Disappointing experience and especially for this price I expected much more. Not recommended and we will not return here

Very nice and cozy restaurant for fresh and tasteful sushi with friends. The dinner was served and the waitress explained the content. Good food with a good bottle of wine. Recommended place.

My absolute favorite place to eat sushi. Never had the opportunity to eat such excellent sushi. Toppers. Definitely recommended. I'd love to come back.

The food was really tasty. We are fans! Before I ordered I called the restaurant because of an allergy. Really nice help. After I ordered, I was called again as a precaution. I will order here from now on and if you really want to eat well, I definitely recommend that you do so.

Best sushi I have ever had outside of Japan. There service is excellent and the sake is delicious. You can get there by public transport but I would recommend a taxi as parking is very limited. The only bad aspect is that the chairs are very uncomfortable. Usually a sushi meal is a long sit.

Thought I would give it a try since they had a promotion going on for salmon sushi. Rice was hard, seaweed was too chewy, and about 20-25% of the sushi we got looked like the picture below.

Disappointing experience; I called 20 minutes after the stated delivery time to check if they had received my order correctly; lame story about a different delivery time on the receipt. Another 20 minutes later, 10 minutes after the 'delivery time on the receipt', I called again and someone was quickly at the door, but no apologies and very unfriendly staff. It turns out that the receipt actually says 'as soon as possible', or 'as soon as possible'. I found the stickers on the box with 'our sushi tastes best if you eat it within 1 hour' after 1.5 hours of waiting amusing. Sushi was also nothing special and overpriced, save your money especially on the maki.

Not good quality sushi at all. Order took over 1.5 hours to come when the restaurant is 0.4 km away. The sushi was rolled really loosely and a few pieces had fallen apart. Taste was so so, wouldn't order here again. There are much better quality sushi places in the Hague.

More than half an hour late, but they got free bacon biscuits as a bonus because they were so late

In the past I have regularly ordered from the sushi girls and did so again on Saturday. The quality is definitely not what it used to be. A shame and especially because they are certainly not the cheapest. I normally have no problem with this, but you do expect a high-quality product in return. The taste of the sushi was similar to that of Albert Heijn. As a positive point I can mention that the delivery was on time.

Vrijdag avond, 20:00 gereserveerd. Tafel buiten bijna opschoot bij andere mensen, wij nemen plaats het duurt 10 minuten voordat er iemand komt wat okee is. Vervolgens 25 minuten later krijgen wij de dinner kaart maar de drankjes wat besteld is de eerste keer zijn er nog niet. Na 40 minuten krijgen wij de drankje, na 2 uur krijgen wij pas het eten. Sorry hoor maar dit was echt belachelijk. Er zaten 7 tafels buiten en geen binnen. Hoe kan het zolang duren?? Er liepen drie personeels leden eentje die overal aan het rennen was voor iedereen, eentje die net deed of ze wat deed, je niet aan keek maar over je heen. En de persoon die de uber bestellingen deed maar ook over je heen kijkt en je niet aan kijkt. Er wordt een paar keer aangegeven dat het eten wel erg lang duurde. Maar er werd niet echt actie ondernomen. Vervolgens na het eten wordt er aangegeven dat er helaas niks meer te bestellen valt want de rijst is op, maar de rest van de bites ook.. jammer. Bij afrekenen is er ook niks gevraagd waarschijnlijk wilde ze het antwoord ook niet horen.

Was dik in orde. Sommige sushi-rollen wisten echt te verrassen qua smaak en de bediening was vriendelijk en snel. Gereserveerde tafeltje stond helaas niet helemaal klaar. Verder een kleine zaak met een inrichting die wat sfeervoller zou mogen. Afhaalbakjes en wat troep in het zicht.

Leuke speelse opmaak en heel smaakvolle sushi, veel diversiteit ook. De zachte rijst was ook een pluspunt. Klein restaurant maar daardoor heerlijk rustig.

First day in the neighbourhood & this place was recommended. We booked beforehand. Our table was ready (good seat & good view of surrounding streets). We were welcomed warmly by staff. We had to ask for the ENG menu as our Dutch is poor. Drinks were served quickly. Food was explained but even though we ordered less than recommended, it was still too much. The food was excellent, sushi was well presented & a good standard. Not sure it was sashimi standard fish but nevertheless it was interesting, fresh & delicious. No complaints, we enjoyed our time & food here. The place was busy so clearly popular so I’m guessing it would be wise to book.

Our 2nd time here, similar experience both times - very good food, but very slow service. Took a long while to get served (people who turned up later than us got served before, which was a bit irritating) and they messed up the bill at the end. If you eat here, expect the service to be on the slow side and double check the bill.

Kwaliteit Sushi Meisjes wordt steeds minder. Een van de duurste Sushi restaurants van Den Haag. Dat mag maar dan moet het wel echt goed zijn. Nu zeker niet. Gaat hier over een bezorg review. De 2 sterren sfeer is vanwege mindere ervaring toen we in het restaurant gingen eten een paar weken geleden. De serveerster was vooral met zichzelf bezig en niet echt met haar klanten. Vandaag besteld, vaste klant al een paar jaar, maar de kwaliteit gaat hard achteruit. In de smaak, die steeds vlakker wordt hebben we het idee. Als ook de details. We hadden extra wasabi gevraagd, kleine moeite, maar niet gekregen. Daarnaast bestelling een half uur te laat. En toen we de bestelling kregen bleek er een salade te hebben gelekt. Hierdoor was de (papieren)zak bijna uit elkaar gevallen. Bij mee naar de woonkamer nemen, viel deze helemaal uit elkaar. Geen beste beurt en jammer. Heb het idee dat men daar vanwege de vele goede beoordelingen denkt dat het niveau wel wat omlaag kan.

Terras is viezig,kan wel een beetje opgeknapt worden.

Disappointing experience. The food was fine but sadly, hard to enjoy as the front of house is really lacking experience. The dining room was ran by 3 young ladies who were busier eating sandwiches behind the bar at 8pm than tending to their guests. It could have been a one-off due to a manager being sick perhaps but the lack of basic sense of hospitality and common sense operations were a real let down. *edit: as I read the reviews, it looks like the poor service is a common comment. I appreciate the focus is on the food and that a lot of pride goes into preparing it, but the chefs/owners should realise that it makes it impossible to enjoy their food when it doesn’t make it to the table because the servers forget everything (and don’t care).

Toffe plantaardige varianten op sushi, erg lekker; goed uitgevoerd. Leuke bediening, meedenkend en ontspannen personeel. Uitstraling tent kan sfeervoller (oogt wat klinisch) en prijs van totale bon voelde licht overprized voor een sushi avondje (110€ voor 2 p). Overall positieve ervaring.

Nice small place to have good sushi.

Als Belg hebben we in Gent, Antwerpen, Utrecht, Amsterdam en Rotterdam al talloze sushi's uitgetest. Oprecht is dit één van de meest smaakvolle special rolls die we al geprobeerd hebben. Black Pepper en Surf & Turf! Geweldig! Dit wordt een vaste stop voor ons bij een bezoek aan Den Haag! Bedankt voor de topservice!!

We hadden de sushi mix 'our favorites'. De sushi was ok, maar ook niet echt heel bijzonder. Het restaurant is erg klein, dus je zit erg dicht op elkaar en er wordt heel veel afgehaald. Ik zal er in de toekomst misschien nog een keer bezoeken, maar dit wordt niet mijn go to sushi place.

Het restaurant is duidelijk gericht op bezorging: er liepen telkens mensen heen en weer, deuren gingen open en dicht. Er was geen ambiance en er zaten spinnenwebben in de hoeken van de kamer. Daarnaast was de service inderdaad laag voor de prijs die je betaald (denk aan lege flesjes die niet worden meegenomen, tafels die geen menukaarten krijgen en het eten dat wordt geserveerd zonder genoeg borden op tafel te hebben). De sushirollen waren verder niet in gelijke stukken verdeeld waardoor sommige happen te groot waren en sommige te klein. Al met al geef ik deze ervaring 2,5 sterren van de 5.

Nice servicing staff, lovely Dutch girls making sushi rolls. The taste is fine enough.

Not as expensive as other chains though fish is fresh and quality. Eel should be added to the menu, in addition to different seating arrangements. If you're on the high seats, your rear feels like it's pointed right towards (or on) someone else's table. Otherwise, I highly recommend it!
