The place is overpriced for the quality and the atmosphere. The sushi for 36 pieces cost us around 51 euros as a set menu. The taste was okay perhaps 7/10 but far from authentic sushi, I'd say a fusion between japanese and Dutch style sushi with lost of fried ingredients within. Deserts and many items on the menu are clearly from the Dutch cuisine. It feels more like a cafe but has restaurant higher prices. The waiter was kind. It took about 30 mins for our order to be ready. They also served tap water for free which is always a kind thing that adds to the service. Overall the place is recommended if you're trying out different types of sushi in the Hague.

The food is good, but with delivery it is way too late time after time. It’s been over 35 minutes now and I haven't heard anything. Very disappointing...

Had to wait an incredibly long time. Many tables with dirty dishes and food scraps. 45 minutes wait per order. When ordering sushi, they already asked if we wanted coffee because they wanted to clean the machine in advance. We were also given strange looks when we didn't leave a tip on our (enormously high) bill. The food was very tasty!

Delivery: everything was stuck together... and everything was the same, which I hadn't ordered... I called. Their answer was: there's nothing we can do about it... the sushi girls just want to take money. I paid a considerable amount online. No more sushi girls for me.

This sushi restaurant had been on our wish list for quite some time. We traveled from Leeuwarden to double-check the good reviews. It is a very accessible little restaurant with a really nice neighborhood vibe. Upon entering, the staff was a bit more male than the name suggests, but exceptionally hospitable. It took us a little getting used to, as there is no all-you-can-eat. We knew that, so it wasn't a problem. We relied somewhat on our host's recommendation regarding our choices. That turned out to be the right one. You can see and taste that time and love go into the sushi. Fresh ingredients and very tasty. The salmon patties were also particularly delicious (and surprising); they get an extra plus point for the brand of ginger beer they serve. Fentimans is my favorite. Price-quality is a bit trickier, because to be honest, I have to say that it is quite pricey. Given the limited size of the restaurant and the quality, it is quite logical to conclude that they cannot compete with the larger restaurants on price, so I didn't consider that a negative point. The only point that really needs to be mentioned is the curtains on the windows... That really won't do ;-) My advice is to hang some nice shutters... A bit more modern without detracting from the good vibe.

Nice place, friendly staff, and delicious sushi. We ended up here during a city trip following a tip from a friend from The Hague. According to him, this was one of the best sushi places in The Hague. And it was fantastic. A bit outside the center, but really worth the effort!

I ordered from the Sushimeisjes for the first time and ate incredibly delicious sushi! The spring onion in the Pink Dragon with salmon was a revelation to me, in particular. I also appreciated that the bottom of the container was made of pressed cardboard and that the sushi was served on a real green leaf. My order was delivered within 45 minutes and exactly at the indicated time. Worth repeating!

The sushi is fantastic; I regularly travel from Utrecht for it. But unfortunately, the service is incredibly slow. It easily takes half an hour before the first meal arrives, which is a real shame. If you don't have a short fuse, you definitely should go there because the food is 5-star.

Unfortunately, it really wasn't good. Everything tasted the same and was very spicy. We couldn't even eat the kimchi because it was so spicy. Sorry, but €60 for what you get and the quality is really too much.

As we drove away from the Omniversum, I asked what we were eating. And from the back seat, someone shouted loudly: SUSHI! We were supposed to be eating our own spinach, but I said, well, if we drive past a sushi restaurant on the way home, we’re eating sushi. Less than 300 meters later, we drove past De Sushimeisjes. No sooner said than done. There was plenty of parking and also plenty of room inside the restaurant. We were quite early. We were warmly welcomed by a very friendly young lady and we were allowed to pick out our own spot in the cozy corner with a view in all directions. The menu had very nice options and surprising combinations. There was a children's menu, but we didn't get everything from it. For instance, the coloring page was missing, and there was supposed to be something sweet included, but the little man didn't get that either. The sushi was truly delicious. Good flavor combinations and beautifully presented. The sushi stayed intact while eating, and the rice was very flavorful. It stuck together well and had the right balance. The price is a bit on the high end, but I see an upward trend in sushi and they compete well. I would definitely go eat there again.

Amazingly tasty sushi, delicious bubbly lemonade, and super friendly service. We were allowed to put our chocolate in the fridge, which we needed for a party afterwards. Simply a top-notch place!

The taste is fantastic. The service is terrible. Arrived at 19:30. Could only order at 20:50 with a limited selection, and then the kitchen closed at 21:15, meaning you couldn't order anything anymore. The kitchen prioritizes delivery over guests in the restaurant. Truly dreadful.

The chicken sushi was my favorite. Nice variations on the traditional sushi you know. I think it's great that a lot of avocado is used. The preparation did take a while and the interior could be a bit cozier, but overall a super good experience.

Just picked up and ate. Had a Crunchy Salmon Roll and 4 California Rolls. The latter is already tasty, but the first one is truly delicious. Good and friendly service, the interior looks nice.

My favorite restaurant! Delightful dishes, often new items on the menu, delicious sushi, drinks, desserts, and coffee – pure enjoyment! Nicely decorated too, and the service is excellent! Attentive and helpful staff! Keep up the good work!

Had a delicious gluten-free meal.

Together with my boyfriend, we had a great experience at Sushimeisjes. Due to celiac disease, places like this are hard to find, but here you are definitely in the right place! I had emailed beforehand with a few questions about working with gluten, to which I received a quick and professional response. The staff is aware of cross-contamination and knows what is and isn't possible, and they even have a gluten-free menu! Gluten-free soy sauce is also available. The price was a bit on the high side, but if you really want to be sure of a worry-free gluten-free evening, I definitely recommend this. The beef roll is 100% worth it.

Great food. The menu is more expensive than all the individual components. Everything smells of wet dog and dirty diapers. The atmosphere is a cross between a dark pub and Ikea. Tip: order individual items and skip the menu instead of eating in. Home is more cozy, hygienic, and you don't have to deal with other people's pets and children.

In terms of food, this restaurant is highly recommended. The sushi was delicious! So why only one star? For starters, considering the prices, we expected a bit more ambiance. The restaurant looks and feels more like a cafe, from the decor to the staff. However, this wasn't a huge issue for us. What was an issue for us was that it felt more like a playground than a restaurant. There were small children running around, crayons everywhere on the table, and the child at the table next to us was lying on the couch on our things, standing on the chair, throwing things on the floor, and constantly running off the table. There was also a dachshund pacing around on the couch and chairs. He also sat with his nose on the table. I love animals, but this was unhygienic. Besides, some people are afraid or allergic. Animals don't belong in a restaurant. Children are welcome, of course. However, if they cause (a lot of) nuisance to other customers and the parents don't take action, then the staff should address this. When we brought it up, the waitress said she completely agreed that this wasn't acceptable because of the children and the dog. She just said she didn't dare say anything about it. To be clear: the parents weren't restraining their children, but they didn't seem aggressive or anything. After dinner, my table companion paid the bill. When we got home, we checked the receipt, and it turned out that we'd overpaid by more than €10.00 by ordering the sushi special. First of all, you get one free side dish. We chose two, and they charged us for the most expensive one. And no, that's not policy. Furthermore, when we added up the prices of the sushi and the free side dish, it turned out we paid €8.60 less than the menu cost. If we'd gotten the most expensive dish for free, it would have been even more than €10.00. We thought this was strange and wanted to leave feedback, but couldn't find an email address. So I called. The girl looked over her shoulder and pointed out that we should indeed have gotten the most expensive dish for free, and that it was strange that the menu cost us so much more than if we had ordered the same amount of individual dishes. She said she would pass it on. What she didn't do, however, was offer to look into it, call back, compensate us for the overcharge, etc. Absolutely nothing. As far as we're concerned, good customer service and a pleasant restaurant experience are just as important as the food, and this was where the food was lacking. Our advice: order sushi or takeout, because the food isn't the problem. If you still want to eat in, go after 8 PM, hope the running kids are in bed, and don't order a menu. Editing based on Sushimeisjes' response: we've recalculated, but the amounts above are correct. It wasn't €2.40. We certainly don't complain about those kinds of amounts. Furthermore, I haven't received a phone call or missed calls, which is impossible since they don't have my number. My table companion hasn't been called either.

Due to #celiac disease, I have to eat #gluten-free. I found #sushimeisjes via Google. It's a small restaurant with excellent service and very fresh and tasty sushi. They know exactly what's acceptable and what's not. The food was delicious. The tables were a bit close together. Highly recommended!

Amazing food and really accommodating staff! We made a really last minute booking and still they were able to fit us in and let us know of the kitchen closing times, making sure we could still order twice.

We had dinner tonight at sushi meisjes. One of our friends is allergic to sesam. We mentioned this to the crew at the beginning of our dinner. When we ordered our second round we received sushi with sesam. The staff didn’t noticed it. At the end they apologised again.Next time they could pay extra attention to the allergies of their guests.

I was always a bit neutral about sushi; it wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing either. The sushi girls really changed my mind! The sushi was so good! They also had fun and surprising combinations. If I could leave 0 star for the service I would. We were seated and waited for the menu for 15 minutes. Nothing. We had to get it on our own. Then we noticed that they served someone that came way before us. We ordered drinks and waited for another 20 minutes as well. Asked for water - nothing but the table that arrived got it immediately. Then two out of our three roles came. Then nothing for 45 minutes.

I recently ate at Sushi Meisjes, and the sushi was definitely delicious and fresh, so true sushi lovers will definitely find something to enjoy here. The menu also offers other options like chicken, shrimp, and even kibbeling, which is nice if you're with someone who isn't a sushi fan.

We ordered online, and I must say I was positively impressed that it was delivered on time (even 2 min earlier!). The rolls looked promising but to be honest they were lacking any flavor. All 3 types tasted almost the same and kinda bland. Smaller rolls seemed to have tuned salmon inside… Salmon cake was the best dish we tried from there. I think Ohmu sushi or Areia are a way better option if you’d like some sushi.

Normally very satisfied with the sushi girls, taste is always spot on. However, we now receive the “fried korean cauliflower” in plastic containers, and these are completely deformed by the heat. Plastic leaks into the food at high temperatures and this is actually quite worrying. Please quickly return to the old round containers for cauliflower! Update: thanks for the response, look forward to the next one!

We went with the family for Dinner yesterday to the Sushimeisjes. Location well organised and very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Sushi fresh made and absolutly great in taste and design. The Kimcheese bites are incredibly delicious. Only negative points are no Sprite or Fanta (Kids) and the price for the Kimchi salad (7,10€) for a little portion is way to high. Best Family T.

Forgot to take pictures. The takeaway I ordered was the 64-yuan sushi. Because of the event needs, I discussed with the merchant and expressed the hope that the delivery would be completed before the time given by the system. The merchants are very friendly and cooperative. The food was very delicious and my friends loved it. Usually I occasionally order sushi from this restaurant on to good to go. I hope to have the opportunity to dine in the restaurant one day.

You try to make an order but they do not accept it yet open for another two hours… really disappointing

We had a delicious meal with the sushi girls! Tasty and fresh sushi. It is a fairly small restaurant in contrast to the many large chains where you can eat sushi. This makes you feel much more comfortable. It's a shame that the sushi with eggplant has disappeared from the menu, as has the plum wine, fortunately there are also very tasty alternatives, but I would be happy to see them on the menu again 😉

We ordered via Uber Eat, but unfortunately it was not delivered in our street (4 minutes by car). We arrived just in time to pick up the sushi and when we got home it looked great. Unfortunately it was ice cold so I got the distinct impression that it was not fresh but already pre-made and came out of the refrigerator... a bitter disappointment!! Let it sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes before we can eat. Taste was actually, to our surprise, still OK'ish😳 but I still expected freshly prepared sushi! Shame.

I thought I had booked a nice sushi workshop, but unfortunately nothing could be further from the truth. Unfortunately, for what you pay €55.50 you only get 16 pieces of sushi. The products are also delivered very sparsely. The rice was gone quickly and everyone went home hungry. In short, DO NOT book a sushi workshop here, as this is a real money grab, a very expensive price for a little cucumber and some surimi. I could have made this at home.

Ordered again after a long time, thought I would treat myself well. What a disappointment! The sushi is tasty, but so much smaller than before and less luxurious. As a result, the price/quality ratio is no longer okay in my opinion. Shame!!! Edit from 2 to 3 stars 3 days later, this review was taken very seriously; if in contact about details. Always had a very good meal before. Both in the restaurant and delivered to your home. The sushi back then was fresh and affordable. Now sushi rolls have become a lot more expensive and the quality has deteriorated. A shame and not worth repeating.

I think an objection has been raised against this review for an unclear reason. This is what it said: Thought it was a lot of money for very little sushi. Ordered 60 euros worth of sushi for 2 people for a festive occasion, and both were still hungry afterwards. Not that much fun and then something goes wrong I think, we are normal eaters. It is quite tasty (although I would leave out the chili powder on the roll) but for me it is not worth repeating.

Pleasantly surprised by delicious sushi.

I was here on June 6. The food was really delicious and looked great too. The kitchen saved the evening. The bad thing is the service. There were 2 ladies working, one was being trained and the other had been working for a long time. I also come from the catering industry myself, so I know how it works and that it takes a lot of time. But I personally found this annoying what happened yesterday. The 2 ladies were constantly at the pass. I understood one lady who is new, but not the other. The lady who worked here longer did not look around for empty glasses or other orders. At one point the new lady was sent away for an online order. She had to deliver this. Then the other lady saw the opportunity to talk at length about her, who liked being able to stand alone so that all the bad things could be made up for. Making extensive coffee for yourself. Asking for food for food from the kitchen, complaining about not getting a tip. Tell them how grumpy she was that day. Complaining about beer still being in the system. I personally find this very unprofessional. The MacBook was also still on the bar and there were no candles on the table. Because of this I think my experience is inferior. While I did have a great experience at Prins Hendrikstraat.

Had a nice dinner on Sunday evening. The place ambience is very great, I really like it. The place is not that huge, so it’s almost always full booked (every time I passed by, I see full tables). The sushi is fusion and it tasted good. Not much sushi place I like in the NL, but I think the food here is acceptable for (as Asian who like sushi). The price is also very fair I think

Today I ordered for 50eu (1 person). I paid 6.50 for this small slice of cake and the tataki was not cut properly (one slice very thick, the other wafer thin) I also indicated 1745 as the delivery time and a little deviation is fine, but the delivery person was there at 1725 and I was still in the shower. So it was all a bit messy and doesn't feel worth the money to me. The food is tasty, but I think it's quite a bit to spend so much money for the portions I received. (I'm not talking about the sushi now, that's fine)

Ik ben sinds het begin fan van de sushimeisjes. Haal met grote regelmaat af op locatie bij de prins hendrikstraat en als ik gezellig een avond uit eten wil kies ik voor de Valkenboskade. Sfeer en eten 5 sterren, 4 sterren voor de service, puur omdat het langer duurde dan ik gewend ben. Desondanks wederom een heerlijke avond gehad en we komen snel weer terug! Keep up the good work!

In het begin waren wij zeer tevreden over de kwaliteit en het formaat van de sushi’s. Prijs kwaliteit echt goed. Maar de laatste keren echt een stuk minder met vandaag een diepte punt. Het formaat van de sushi’s was gehalveerd, ging echt nergens over, maar wel dik voor betaald. Bovendien standaard een telefoontje of ze een half uur later kunnen komen wat dan meestal ook uitloopt. Voor ons geen sushimeisjes meer.

Net gezellig gegeten met mijn man, hij was vaker bij Sushi meisjes geweest. Ik zei ik wil ook. Dus hij nam me mee. Lekker gegeten maar vond ze best wel flauw als ik t eerlijk moet zeggen. Vergeleken met andere sushi restaurants. Zag er wel mooi uit en vers. Erg vriendelijke bediening. Wilde erna nog Decafe koffie maar was helaas op. Maar een gewoon bakkie genomen maar vonden we allebei niet lekker. Geen idee wat voor koffie het was. Oploskoffie ofzo. Maar ja..we vonden het gezellig.

Sushimeisjes is een begrip in Den Haag! Een en al lof. Waarom dan toch 4 sterren? Ik vond het duur.. fles water, 1 wijn, cappuccino en verder een paar porties sushi voor €96 met 2 personen. Ik zou er niet zo snel nog een x een tafel reserveren. Ik snap de inflatie, kosten, inkopen etc.. maar ik schrok er serieus van.. had rond de €70 verwacht. Jammer! Personeel overigens top! Mag ook gezegd worden :)

Voor het eerst hier geweest. En dat beviel erg goed. Leuk personeel (wel nog beetje onervaren) maar dat maakt niet uit. Super vriendelijk en geduldig. Ook als je persoonlijke wensen hebt nemen ze die serieus. Sushi was lekker en precies goed qua hoeveelheid. Al met al voor herhaling vatbaar!

Kwalitatief erg goed. Leuke bediening. Zaak mag wat sfeervoller. Er stond een groot zwart scherm midden in de zaak.

Kwaliteit van Sushi is enorm! De rest; bezorging en de sfeer in het restaurant is onder gemiddeld! Zonde, we waren fans van het eerste uur. Maar inmiddels hebben we onze toevlucht genomen naar andere aanbieders.

De sushi was erg goed, maar de sfeer in het restaurant vonden wij niet passend bij sushi. Er stond vrij drukke pop muziek aan, en het geluidsniveau was meer dat van een 'all you can eat' tent dan van een restaurant. Ook werd er vrij luid gecommuniceerd door het personeel onderling. Dit is natuurlijk iets persoonlijks, maar wij vonden het hierdoor geen prettige ervaring. Ook hoorde we dat de tafel naast ons oude wijn had (ze kregen daarna wel een nieuw glas) en hoorde we even laten iemand van de bediening over 'of er nog prik in die Cava van gister zit'... Slordig. Volgende keer dan maar take away, want het eten zelf was wel erg lekker.

Heb daar eten afgehaald via Too good to go. Dat lukt meestal niet want dit restaurant is daar zeer populair.

Erg leuke sushi-workshop als teamuitje gedaan onder begeleiding van Els. Goed meegenomen in de complexe wereld van het sushi bereiden, waarbij we zelf ook aan de slag mochten. Heerlijk gegeten!

Uitgebreide kaart, prima gegeten. Wel wat kleinigheidjes die aandacht behoeven: gereserveerde tafel bleek aan anderen gegeven, verkeerde gerecht werd geserveerd (wel snel goedgemaakt). Verder ok.
