The food tastes delicious. It's such a shame about your service. We've been waiting for over an hour. We haven't even received a call or email about the busy schedule or a delay. I called myself, and they're only just starting to make it. We'll have to wait even longer for it to be ready and delivered. Cancellations were not allowed, and refunds were not offered either. He didn't even seem to mind that we won't be ordering from them again because the service is so poor.

BEWARE! Scammers. They deliver incorrectly and are cold-blooded. Very snarky when you call them. They offer refunds, forget about it. Then they hang up. Been a customer for years and years. Once a week. Not anymore. Well done. Fire the guy on the phone. And if it's the owner, good luck with that!

I ordered kunefe, it had no taste, I got another ben and jerry and a euro, I didn't get that euro and the ice cream had melted

Meat is always delicious; we've been ordering/eating from De Tempel for 10 to 15 years. (Never had any complaints about it.) Unintentionally long waits, or forgetting a sandwich, is human (at certain times, the pressure is high). Not that I've ever experienced that.

i went there 10 minutes before they close (01:50) and i was given the best lahmacun durum in NL. Friendly stuff and satisfying food.

This is misleading and not what's promised. As a customer, you expect to get what you order and pay for. Furthermore, it's disappointing that this difference isn't indicated on the website or with the order. There's a complete lack of transparency with the customer. Conclusion: If you're specifically expecting shawarma, you won't get it here. They're advertising something that isn't delivered. It's misleading.

I ordered a kapsalon shawarma, and it comes with fries or sauce. My friend had a shawarma sandwich. He gets a box with shawarma, but without the bread, we have to pick it up ourselves or something, then we should get it for free.

Waiting 2 hours for a pizza... arrived cold and inedible... I'm done with this place... I've been a regular customer for years, but after several rounds of hassle, I'm completely done with it. I recommend Eethuis Helal to everyone... they're also super good... and polite.

Recently ordered from De Tempel on the first day of Pentecost and was very positively surprised! The food was delicious and still piping hot (ordered in Heemstede). Two well-stocked kapsalons with enough sauce and salad. Friendly delivery person. Definitely recommended.

Temple of Scams – Avoid this place at all costs Ordered a kip dürüm, and because I don’t speak Dutch and had a shopping bag, the owner assumed I was a tourist and overcharged me – €8 instead of the menu price. When I got the food, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, the thinnest dürüm I’ve ever received, barely 300 grams of food, I asked the guy if this was normal and if they could add more meat because it was ridiculously small for what I paid. His response? “Thats how we do it here and thats the price, check the price on Thuisbezorgd.” Do you think im stupid? Check the Thuisbezordg? I asked to see the menu to check, and sure enough, the dürüm was listed for €6-7. When I confronted him about the price discrepancy, he arrogantly said, “I’M THE OWNER, THAT’S THE PRICE.” So, according to him, the menu price means nothing, and he can charge whatever he wants. When I called him out, he got aggressive, threw the menu book on the table quite strong, and acted like if he wanted to show me his, how can i call it, owner strength and power?, PATHETIC. Even his own staff looked embarrassed, pray for them cause if this is the image he gives to customers I cannot imagine how he is with the team. Good that you didn’t touch me. This guy is running a scam, overcharging people who he considers are “turists” and then getting hostile when caught. Pathetic behavior for a so-called “owner.” Thankfully, I got my money back, but this place is a joke. Save your money and go somewhere that actually respects its customers.

Horrible the meat has hard pieces , the pizza are like a sponge. They have super high prices but the food is horrible thrown away 30 euro's.

Top sandwiches with delicious lamb shawarma. I don't understand the negative reactions. Clean place, super friendly people and delicious comfort food. If Uber eats makes a mistake in delivery, you can't blame the Tempel for it.

We went there at night and were charged 8,50€ for one water (water in the menu is 2,50€). I realized it afterwards and went to them and they gave me back 5€ cash after knowing i saw through them trying to rip us off. Make sure you check how much you pay as they take advantage as its late at night and they think people dont know

When we are in Haarlem with family, we always order from Tempel. Delicious meat and good sauce.

We are at Centerparcs Zandvoort, ordered online and asked if they wanted to call 10 minutes before the time. This was done neatly so that neither we nor the delivery person had to wait. Very tasty meat (lamb). Tasty fresh sauces and fresh bread. And in our case, fortunately, few fries at the hair salon. ;) to top it all off, it was also delivered warm!! remember this.

This is the first time I give a company 1 star there was a hair in my food!!! We had to wait a very long time and it was delivered cold. Ordered last night and it was the last time. I have a photo of it but don't know how to upload it here.

Indeed you see flies everywhere, staff grabs shawarma and salad with their bare hands, seen several times, this is just too dirty, not at all hygienic.

I contracted the stomach flu because of the hair salon at De Tempel. There were small flies in the food, but unfortunately I was too late. Watch out for your health and don't order here!!!

Don’t make the same mistake I did by ordering Uber eats from this please, this is your sign to pick another place. We ordered, it was a 20 min delivery distance and 1h 30m still no delivery updates. We called them and they said the food was on the way. 20 min later, still no food. We called again and this time they said the food was delivered - we never received any food. If the food truly was delivered they never even bothered contacting us to let us know. This was all at 2am aswell so there were no alternative options open, so we didn’t eat that night and paid €40 for nothing. I would recommend not to order from this place. The staff were very rude and unhelpful also.

Very tasty shawarma sandwich, all ingredients made with care: nicely seasoned (real!) meat, onions in sauce, tasty salad, crispy sandwich, top sauces. I don't understand the negative comments, recommended!

The food we ordered took quite a long time to arrive. The food was really not tasty, it was burnt and the fries looked like they came out of a bowl of water, so limp, I didn't even eat it. My girlfriend got sour while eating. Don't order here!! And certainly not for the price we had to pay

Ordered food here today!! Never again did the food really taste bad. I don't know if they do this on purpose or not but the food sandwich was rock hard, the food was very very bad. I've never left a review anywhere but this was so bad I have to say something here. Waste of my money ordering here. This is also the last time I pay without looking at the food first.

Temple ordered again. It got even worse than last time. It's because I'm stoned, so I'm really looking forward to the taste of the temple, but now I don't even have the standard garlic sauce for which I had to pay 1 euro and it was normally included as standard. Not normal. And 1.50 per container of onion sauce... both of these were normally included... apparently you want to lose customers... it's a real shame. The taste was great again.

I was owed a pizza due to a wrong order and I won't get it...unless I order again...and it goes wrong again...I will never ever order from here again. Making promises and not keeping them. Don't give this place another red cent.

Paid €13 for a hair salon. That in itself is absurd. I paid anyway since I was hungry. Of course I had high expectations. I'm very disappointed. The hair salon was mediocre. The container of sambal was almost empty. I threw this away because I thought it might have already been used by another customer. The highlight was the hair that I got for free. Edit: I added a photo of the hair in my food. This is now listed as 'pending'. It may not be visible.

we often order from the temple! Unfortunately on January 1st we had to wait 2 hours for our food! When we called it turned out that there was also cheese on our calzone even though we had ordered without. This made it take even longer for the food to arrive. (2.5 hours) unfortunately the other food was not as warm as normal... a pity because we order from here twice a month

Ik bestel hier wel vaker maar wat ik nu mee maak moet ik even melden. De toko was nog niet open maar ik moest nodig naar het toilet dus zei ik of dat tegen betaling moest maar dat was gratis zei hij. Daarna wou ik wat drinken halen maar de pin deed het niet maar neem maar mee zegt hij. Echt hoe dan? Deze 5 sterren zijn zo verdient, wat een service zeg! Tot snel!

Late night snack with the Girls!! Helemaal top. Bezorgen zelfs thuis om half twee s' nachts. 1 broodje shoarma en 1 broodje hete kip plus bijbehorende sauzen uiteraard. Extra pita broodje bij bestellen is een must, genoeg vlees voor twee gevulde pita broodjes. Wij miste wel wat salade voor in het broodje. Verder snel bezorgd rond dit tijdstip. Reken er maar op dat ik jullie nog een keer ga bellen laat in de avond rond dit tijdstip !

Best food at Haarlem when you’re hungry at night. They’ve turkse pizza as good as in turkey.

Ik had besteld. Het kostte €17,50. Ik zei doe maar €18,50. Ik betaalde met €50. Toen zei de bezorger: "is €30 terug goed?". Ik heb niet veel geld. Voor mij is het een teken van respect en dankbaarheid. Vond dit niet ok... Verder is het eten erg duur. 3/5.

Al jaren eet ik daar regelmatig, vanaf 1991, laatste jaren weer wat minder want ik ben weer getrouwd.

Vaak geweest hier en het eten was altijd goed en lekker. Gistere kreeg ik helaas lauwe shoarma, en dat terwijl ik bij hun binnen heb gegeten. Ze hadden het erg druk en hebben de shoarma niet eens onder de grill gezet. Tafels zijn vaak vies en ze hebben meer oog voor het bezorgen dan voor hun klanten. Ik heb gegeten omdat ik erg veel honger had, maar kreeg later spijt omdat het niet lekker in mijn maag lag. Ik denk dat ik hier nooit meer kom.

De Tempel is de afgelopen tijd erg achteruit gegaan. Vroeger was het lekker. Werd het eten heet bezorgd, ook in Vijfhuizen. Nu is de shoarma echt veel te zout. Deze wordt nog wel redelijk warm bezorgd, maar de pizza's en de broodjes zijn keer op keer koud. Jammer, want wij waren echt altijd trouwe klanten.
