Ordered sole. It was swimming in butter and too salty to eat. You have to eat it with a meat knife, and I ended up with nothing but bones in my mouth. Sent the food back. There was no question about whether I wanted something else or a dessert on the house. Asked for the bill and indicated that I found it strange that they didn't offer anything as compensation. That I didn't want to pay for that fish either. She indicated that no one had ever returned this dish. Told her that no one had ever eaten it by the sea, whereas I had a delicious meal of the same dish yesterday. In the end, we got the first drinks on the house. Disappointing evening. Got egg cakes from the Plus for dinner. What a shame!

Reasonable value for money. Small lunch. Poor service. Unfriendly, uninterested ladies. They found it strange when I asked for a menu myself.

The hotel no longer had an option for dinner, so we went to this restaurant. It was scorching hot, but the staff were just great and friendly. The food was delicious too. So glad I chose this place!

The staff is very friendly and flexible. The atmosphere is cozy, pleasant, and quiet, and there is a reasonable amount of space between the tables. Everything is also very well taken care of and well-equipped. It is not too crowded there. There is a wide variety of food, beautifully presented and well cooked. There is also not too much fat on the entre côte. The desserts were also very tasty. I took my time, so overall it was very pleasant!

We had a fantastic afternoon and evening last Saturday at restaurant De Tijd to celebrate a birthday. Despite the heat, everything was arranged excellently. The cozy atmosphere, the friendly staff, and the good care made it a successful day. Thank you for the great service and the beautiful memory. Definitely recommended!

I went to this establishment alone. Too early for dinner. A delicious Tom Kai Kai, beautifully served together with a bread board and spreads. After some Leffe Dark, it was 5 pm and I ordered a delicious Caprese; I've never had anything so good. The atmosphere is very nice and the service is top-notch 🥰

We had dinner with 10 friends tonight. We had a delicious meal.

Today, the entire Den Eikenboom team dined at De Tijd, and we had a wonderful experience. We were with a large group, and both the service and the food were excellent! Tasty food, good and friendly service, and two nice long tables at the back of the restaurant! In short, we will definitely be back for the next staff party!

A nice spot on the terrace, with adequate protection against the wind. Great. But... 2 young ladies were serving. One young lady made verbal and visual contact, while the other young lady (with the dark hair) was clearly working alone. A shame. We ordered 2 ham and cheese paninos. My panino had virtually no cheese, while my wife's salad had no dressing. I don't quite understand that. Furthermore, I don't think it's pleasant to eat from a wooden cutting board with your food on paper. Because that becomes a soggy mess. A pity; we were here several times a few years ago and that was fine. But unfortunately, it rained here. Which is not to say that this is a bad little restaurant, because this is just my opinion. And the location is great!

We had a delicious meal here tonight with seven people. Friendly service. The food was really good quality. It's a bit of a shame, though, that for five people you only get 1.5 portions of fries and one small bowl of salad. If you ask for an extra portion of fries and some extra mayonnaise, you have to pay extra, which is a shame considering the rather steep prices. The mayonnaise is also served in rather plain paper cups! Reply: What an honest response!!

We were here for the first time this week. It's a very cozy, warm restaurant. Nice little corners to sit in, and most importantly, the food was delicious. Speaking for myself: the tomato soup, the veggie lasagna, the apple pie, and the coffee were fantastic.

Unfortunately, I'm becoming less enthusiastic about De Tijd. The service and hospitality are, in my opinion, declining. It took a very long time for our main course to arrive. From the moment we received our appetizer to the main course, it took about an hour and a half. A long wait when there are children present. No apology or explanation was given. The young staff is polite but not genuinely friendly. As in many restaurants, guests are taken for granted, and it feels a bit like "ten others before you." The food was tasty, but no different or better than at other restaurants similar to De Tijd.

I've eaten here many times, and this is my first time with the new owner. The wait for drinks and the menu was very long. After ordering, it took a very long time again. I think the ladies were busy, didn't chat, and didn't make eye contact. Too bad. The meat was already there, and the rest came in stages.

Great food, a bit pricey, but a nice place in a good location and excellent service. The food is more than good!

We reserved a table in advance. The main course was excellent. A beautiful piece of meat and well-prepared. However, the starter (bread with spreads) was very meager. For three people, we received the same amount of spread as for one. Furthermore, the restaurant is located on a busy road with lots of show-offs driving by, wanting to make their engines sound. Not to mention the accompanying gasoline fumes. The waitresses were also very busy, so we had to wait a long time to place our orders. Some people waited 20 minutes for a card to order dessert. So we decided to get ice cream from the neighbors. That saves us some money, as they're not exactly cheap either.

We return here every year when we cycle in the Veluwezoom region. And every year we are very satisfied.

We had a fantastic meal tonight, great value for money and incredibly tasty. And, importantly, the staff were friendly and we could sit outside on the terrace. By the way, the interior looks great too, highly recommended! 👍

What a gem in Eerbeek! We had a delicious meal there last night. My wife's lasagna and mine, the Boeren Schnitzel, were both "out of this world." Great service and a wonderful atmosphere.

We went here on Saturday and were a huge disappointment. The place is nicely decorated, but the menu offered more than just simple dishes. The meat is tough, and the coffee is absolutely undrinkable. It all took ages; I practically had to beg to order a drink. Maybe that's why it's called "De Tijd" (The Time)? No, you can get much better food at StuyvInn a few doors down. Guests around us were complaining to each other as well. The staff didn't seem bothered. No, we didn't feel welcome; it just wasn't right. The standard response will probably be that it doesn't align with (a selection of) the other reviews. But this is just my honest opinion. No more De Tijd for us.

Very tasty meal. Friendly service and hostess (owner). Only one small comment: we found the sauce with the main course to be a little less tasty. The main course itself was great! The rib-eye was tender and prepared to our liking, just right. Starters were also delicious. We will definitely come back.

The interior has changed since December, it has become very beautiful and has a cozy atmosphere. Nice fireplace in the back! Very nice also for drinks in the afternoon.

Last Friday we had dinner here with 4 adults and 1 child (6 years old). The food was excellent and tasty. The service was, despite the age of the staff, extremely neat and personal.

Had a delicious meal here last night. As a starter we had the Caramelized goat cheese and the Duo of the sea, both dishes were accompanied by a tasty salad, looked beautiful and tasted great. As a main course the Pasta Dordogne and the Grilled flat iron steak, these dishes were also excellent and the fries also tasted good. The service was very friendly. We recommend this restaurant.

De Tijd food & drinks: Enjoyed a delicious buffet and dessert with a group of 45 people. Also very friendly and quick service, everything neat and clean. Kitchen visible and also very friendly people there, a cozy atmosphere. All guests were very enthusiastic about De Tijd, we will definitely come back here.

The farmer's schnitzel was delicious and so was the salmon (the latter could have been served a little warmer). One downside was that we had to wait almost an hour before the food was served.

A good address for lunch, dinner or something in between. The business has been set up with care. This can be seen in the decor, hygiene, but certainly also the food. Right down to the layout of your plate. Love for the profession. You won't be disappointed!

Restaurant where you can have lunch and dinner in the shopping street of Eerbeek center. Nice rustic furnishings with plenty of space. This makes it pleasant to stay. You can sit at both individual tables and sofa/tables (see photos). Quiet and friendly service. Open kitchen right in the middle of the restaurant. Until next time!
