We had a delicious meal here tonight with seven people. Friendly service. The food was really good quality. It's a bit of a shame, though, that for five people you only get 1.5 portions of fries and one small bowl of salad. If you ask for an extra portion of fries and some extra mayonnaise, you have to pay extra, which is a shame considering the rather steep prices. The mayonnaise is also served in rather plain paper cups! Reply: What an honest response!!

We were here for the first time this week. It's a very cozy, warm restaurant. Nice little corners to sit in, and most importantly, the food was delicious. Speaking for myself: the tomato soup, the veggie lasagna, the apple pie, and the coffee were fantastic.

Unfortunately, I'm becoming less enthusiastic about De Tijd. The service and hospitality are, in my opinion, declining. It took a very long time for our main course to arrive. From the moment we received our appetizer to the main course, it took about an hour and a half. A long wait when there are children present. No apology or explanation was given. The young staff is polite but not genuinely friendly. As in many restaurants, guests are taken for granted, and it feels a bit like "ten others before you." The food was tasty, but no different or better than at other restaurants similar to De Tijd.

I've eaten here many times, and this is my first time with the new owner. The wait for drinks and the menu was very long. After ordering, it took a very long time again. I think the ladies were busy, didn't chat, and didn't make eye contact. Too bad. The meat was already there, and the rest came in stages.

We reserved a table in advance. The main course was excellent. A beautiful piece of meat and well-prepared. However, the starter (bread with spreads) was very meager. For three people, we received the same amount of spread as for one. Furthermore, the restaurant is located on a busy road with lots of show-offs driving by, wanting to make their engines sound. Not to mention the accompanying gasoline fumes. The waitresses were also very busy, so we had to wait a long time to place our orders. Some people waited 20 minutes for a card to order dessert. So we decided to get ice cream from the neighbors. That saves us some money, as they're not exactly cheap either.

We return here every year when we cycle in the Veluwezoom region. And every year we are very satisfied.

We had a fantastic meal tonight, great value for money and incredibly tasty. And, importantly, the staff were friendly and we could sit outside on the terrace. By the way, the interior looks great too, highly recommended! 👍

What a gem in Eerbeek! We had a delicious meal there last night. My wife's lasagna and mine, the Boeren Schnitzel, were both "out of this world." Great service and a wonderful atmosphere.

We went here on Saturday and were a huge disappointment. The place is nicely decorated, but the menu offered more than just simple dishes. The meat is tough, and the coffee is absolutely undrinkable. It all took ages; I practically had to beg to order a drink. Maybe that's why it's called "De Tijd" (The Time)? No, you can get much better food at StuyvInn a few doors down. Guests around us were complaining to each other as well. The staff didn't seem bothered. No, we didn't feel welcome; it just wasn't right. The standard response will probably be that it doesn't align with (a selection of) the other reviews. But this is just my honest opinion. No more De Tijd for us.

Very tasty meal. Friendly service and hostess (owner). Only one small comment: we found the sauce with the main course to be a little less tasty. The main course itself was great! The rib-eye was tender and prepared to our liking, just right. Starters were also delicious. We will definitely come back.

The interior has changed since December, it has become very beautiful and has a cozy atmosphere. Nice fireplace in the back! Very nice also for drinks in the afternoon.

We had a delicious salad with shrimps here, a good size (= small salad), with large shrimps (warm!), delicious in taste and with a tasty sauce. Top!

Last Friday we had dinner here with 4 adults and 1 child (6 years old). The food was excellent and tasty. The service was, despite the age of the staff, extremely neat and personal.

Had a delicious meal here last night. As a starter we had the Caramelized goat cheese and the Duo of the sea, both dishes were accompanied by a tasty salad, looked beautiful and tasted great. As a main course the Pasta Dordogne and the Grilled flat iron steak, these dishes were also excellent and the fries also tasted good. The service was very friendly. We recommend this restaurant.

We sat outside, probably in the last rays of sunshine this year. Along the road, a bit busy. But had no problems. Had a delicious Surf and Turf salad. Wine was tasty. Service good, very hospitable.

De Tijd food & drinks: Enjoyed a delicious buffet and dessert with a group of 45 people. Also very friendly and quick service, everything neat and clean. Kitchen visible and also very friendly people there, a cozy atmosphere. All guests were very enthusiastic about De Tijd, we will definitely come back here.

The farmer's schnitzel was delicious and so was the salmon (the latter could have been served a little warmer). One downside was that we had to wait almost an hour before the food was served.

A good address for lunch, dinner or something in between. The business has been set up with care. This can be seen in the decor, hygiene, but certainly also the food. Right down to the layout of your plate. Love for the profession. You won't be disappointed!

Restaurant where you can have lunch and dinner in the shopping street of Eerbeek center. Nice rustic furnishings with plenty of space. This makes it pleasant to stay. You can sit at both individual tables and sofa/tables (see photos). Quiet and friendly service. Open kitchen right in the middle of the restaurant. Until next time!

Een restaurant om nooit meer te vergeten, wij hebben er heerlijk gegeten.

Heel lekker gegeten hier. Ook als vegetariër kun je hier prima terecht. Vriendelijke bediening en ook vlot. De sfeer krijgt van mij 3 sterren, de muziek vond ik wat te aanwezig (en wat te plingelig). Een andere gast in het restaurant (naast onze tafel) ging uitgebreid bellen. De aankleding is wel helemaal prima en het personeel droeg ook bij aan een prettige sfeer. En ook al waren de wc's vlak bij ons tafeltje, hier hadden wij geen last van omdat er keurig kamerschermen voor stonden. De tagliatelle met brie was echt heel erg lekker en mijn vriend vond de vis erg lekker. De groente op het bord was ook goed.

Er zijn niet veel gelegenheden waar je voor 'om' zou rijden, De Tijd is hier een uitzondering op. Bediening weet wat service is en de keuken heeft ons nimmer teleurgesteld. Toppertje !

Leuk terrasje in Eerbeek waar je onder de luifel goed kunt vertoeven voor een biertje en een hapje maar ook voor een maaltijd zit je hier goed.

Ontzettend verrassend goede eet gelegenheid! Het eten was heerlijk en grote porties. Bediening was ook erg vriendelijk. Echte aanrader!
