Enjoyed a delicious lunch and drinks. Cozy place in the center of Hoorn. Highly recommended if you're planning a day of shopping.

Lunch was terrible. The croquettes were mealy, and the carpaccio was cut too thick and tasteless. The carpaccio also had an odd color. The rolls were way too hard, making them impossible to cut. The service was friendly.

Good food and cozy atmosphere, it's a shame that the owner is quitting, but it's understandable that they want to take it easier

I had lunch here today and had a very unpleasant experience. I sent back a full bowl of tomato soup because it clearly tasted spoiled. My girlfriend tasted it and confirmed this. When I mentioned this, the waitress reacted with irritation and anger. She claimed the soup wasn't spoiled, "because it's yesterday's soup, they've been serving it all day." After this, there was no communication, no apology. When we went to pay, the soup was still on the bill. When I pointed out that it had to be deducted—because I hadn't eaten the soup and it really wasn't good—the man who helped us pay (probably the owner) reacted extremely angrily and aggressively. He also claimed it was our fault, because there was nothing wrong with the soup. Even when we explained that we both tasted the soup and that it tasted strange and seemed spoiled, he kept repeating that it was our taste. He started shaking, waving his arms, raised his voice, and became intimidating. We literally had to take a step back. He accused us of doing this "in every restaurant"—we literally never send anything back, but this was simply unacceptable. He continued to escalate. We felt unsafe and intimidated. Only after a great deal of anger did he remove the soup from the bill, while he continued yelling as we were already walking toward the door. We stood outside, crying and shaking with fear. To our surprise, he followed us outside, stood very close to us, said he had "become emotional," and apologized—even though his behavior had previously been downright threatening. This was truly unsettling and felt like a violation of our boundaries. Unacceptable behavior towards customers. A complaint about the food can always happen, but this is no way to treat people. For us, this is reason enough to never return. I advise others against it as well!!!!

De Vier Jaargetijden is a bad joke. The so-called 'homemade' apple pie isn't the fresh-out-of-the-oven pie that has been sitting on the counter cooling, with a crispy crust and lukewarm apples, but an ordinary frozen pie that thawed in the display case and now covers you with a tough crust and ice-cold, soggy slices. Customers have been making this comment for years, but this place doesn't care one bit. The iced coffee isn't how it should be either. You want freshly brewed Italian coffee, which is then poured over ice cream. What you get is a loveless sludge from a bottle from a catering wholesaler, with – fair is fair – good whipped cream, which, however, doesn't contain a freshly baked waffle, but a store-bought one. You do pay a high-end price for this, as if this were the cozy bakery it pretends to be. We gave this place a second chance, but this was truly the last time.

We just arrived at the harbor and wanted to grab some lunch. It was the Saturday before "Lappendag" (lap day), and there was a market in Hoorn. We sat outside on the terrace. We were served quickly and our drinks arrived promptly. Then we ordered an "uitsmijter" (bread sandwich) with brown bread and a hamburger. The waitress returned to inform me that they had run out of brown casino bread and that they did have farmhouse bread, but it was €0.90 more expensive. I had forgotten to mention that I only wanted one slice of bread, so I indicated that I wanted the farmhouse bread, but only one. She returned to tell me that the price wouldn't be affected, so I'd just get the regular "uitsmijter" (bread sandwich). I consider this poor service. If you can't provide something because it's sold out, it's polite to accommodate the customer. I don't eat white bread. The food was otherwise good, but I left one slice of bread because it was too much. So, no tip, because I didn't think it deserved it.

Ligt op winkelstraat vlakbij beeld van coen. De bediening was zeer vriendelijk. Had koffie besteld, de melk was dus al toegevoegd. Werd hier dus niet blij van.

The lunch was very disappointing, the price compared to quality. The croquettes were cold. Homemade egg salad sandwich unimaginative and bland. The lettuce was a bit wet, which simply made the egg salad unappetizing The price for this sandwich was 11.25 euros. Really to no relationship.

A day of shopping in Hoorn and in the shopping street, this restaurant stood out because of all the chalkboards outside. Very cozy and furnished inside. Pleasant service. The chowder was fine, club sandwich too. Just a great place to eat and drink!

What lovely people, received a very friendly welcome today when we went for lunch with our baby. Tasty sandwiches for a great price. Staff also helped lift the stroller all the way out.

Coffee is good. I thought the apple pie (homemade ??) was rather mediocre. So next time I'll have coffee and cake somewhere else.

Doesn't matter when I come here, no matter how busy it is. I always receive a warm welcome here. The coffee is delicious and so are the sandwiches. The seasonal coffees are always recommended.

We regularly have lunch here and enjoy something nice to drink with it. I am completely in love with the Latte Caramel, it is beautifully served with extra small caramel pieces as a topping. Nice ambiance and cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended.

We were given coffee that tasted nasty and weak and we returned it. The owner demanded that the returned coffee be paid for and we did not receive a replacement. The owner was very rude and customer unfriendly, which is reason enough for us to never come back here. Customers are also received in a room that is far too crammed. And the toilet was filthy.

Heerlijke tomatensoep! Kruidenboter een van de beste die ik geproefd heb. Relatief weinig stokbrood hierbij, maar extra erbij vragen is geen probleem. Aanrader!

Vriendelijk personeel en schone tafels. Echter was de ijskoffie echt slecht. Ik heb het na twee slokjes laten staan. Ook niet de beste appeltaart.

De is een mooie plek in een historisch pand. Ze hebben hier lekker gebak en goede koffie. De bediening is vriendelijk. Echter de sanitaire gelegenheid is hier minimaal.

Leek gezellig, maar lunch viel heel erg tegen. Inspiratieloos, smaakloos en fantasieloze broodjes gehad. De helft laten staan. Dit bedrijf snapt het echt niet, hoe je een lunch moet presenteren en laten smaken. Alles is aanwezig om het goed te kunnen doen, alleen een kok met inspiratie ontbreekt. Bij het melden , werd gezegd dat alle ingrediënten van de menukaart er op zaten, ja idd. Alleen liefde en smaak ontbraken

Total nettes Cafe! Lecker und sympathisch!!

Viel beetje tegen qua sfeer en hartelijkheid van personeel. De stoelen buiten mogen wat beter. Voor dochter een tosti besteld geen blaadje sla of schijfje komkommer/tomaat erbij en zelfs geen bakje ketchup erbij. Zoals tegenwoordig normaal is bij een tosti. Behoorlijk karrig allemaal. De cappuccino smaakte wel ok.

Gezellig en goede uitsmijters. Wel een beetje flauw bruin brood er onder. Dat kost een ster.

Heerlijk gezeten en koffie met taart gegeten. Het staat een beetje vol en je kunt alleen betalen bij bepaalde personen.

Ein schönes Café. Süßes Ambiente und eine ausreichende Auswahl von süß bis herzhaft. "Typisch holländisch" trotzdem mit eigener Note. Die Preise sind im Vergleich gut. Freundliche Bedienung. Dankeschön.

Ein niedliches kleines - typisch Hölländisches - Eetkaffee. Portionen ausreichend groß und sehr lecker. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich und immer "auf Zack", Tolle Unterbrechung des Einkaufbummels in Hoorn.

Prima ervaring om te lunchen in een karakteristiek gebouw in de binnenstad. Ook glutenvrij lunchen is er mogelijk. De bediening is gastvrij, vriendelijk en ongedwongen.

Wanneer wij in Hoorn lunchen wij hier meestal. Het is altijd goed en stelt nooit teleur. Ook de mensen die er werken zijn altijd vriendelijk. Dat speelt ook mee met de gunfactor om hier een broodje te eten:)

Altijd vriendelijk en snel geholpen

Vieze uiensoep, met veel laurierbladen en schillen van de ui in de soepkom, ook een erg grauwe kleur. Niet opgegeten. Broodje warme beenham werd koud geserveerd met dezelfde vieze grauwe uienmengsel als in de soep als garnering.

Lekkere lunch op het terras in een heerlijk najaars zonnetje. We hebben de kroketten met brood genomen met war koffie en dat was prima, ook de bediening was vriendelijk en snel. Prima plaats voor een lunch
