Delicious food that looked perfect, very friendly staff and everything was well taken care of. Staff was happy to have a friendly chat with us. Price is on the high side for the portions you get. 29 euros for a relatively small portion of cod. It was delicious and looked perfect! 1 of my table companions was vegetarian and there was only 1 vegetarian dish. There could have been more options for that.

Vreslijk Ober ging zitten op tafel dame zei kom bij je. Eve layer kom man kale hoofd en zei heb wat bedteld zei dame kom zo. Hij zei tafel is bezet legde daara pads bordje neer. Ik Ben op gestaan zo gaat fles en hij liep steeds achter me aan wat zei je. Had zeker voor vriendje die tafel na mij gegeven. Werkt zeker zonder vog daar. Ik denk dat vind een pvv stemmer is. Tip zet hem op straat

Had dinner at De Wits tonight with 3 former colleagues. The 1st time for me. Chose a 3-course surprise menu on advice. Didn't regret it. All 3 courses were surprising and tasty. Top, as well as the atmosphere and the service. Worth repeating.

A late decision to have dinner with the 2 of us and based on the Google reviews: we can only add a positive one! Nice wine, unusually ate 2 starters each (which was absolutely no problem!). The dishes were beautifully presented, super fresh and delicious, the meat was buttery tender and the combinations more than excellent. Highly recommended!!! We will definitely come back again.

Had lunch with my daughter in the sun on the terrace last Friday. We took both based on what someone was eating (we thought that looked divine) and that was it…. The price was €15, so twice that was great... it was really delicious and we will definitely come back. Also super friendly service... Wonderful to start the terrace season

I had lunch here on Saturday, December 21, 2024. It was a late lunch because we had a reservation for 3 p.m. Upon entering we were immediately greeted and seated. A reservation was not necessary at this time, but we did it as a precaution. The decoration of De Wits is very cozy and nice. The tent gives you a feeling of home where you can enjoy an informal meal. They decorated it festively at Christmas. When we were sitting quietly, a friendly lady came over to take our drinks order, we wanted to have a look first so she came back later. When we had made a choice, the lady quickly came back to our table. We ordered our drink and food. I had a latte machiato (as almost always) and my girlfriend also had it with a hint of caramel. For lunch she had a roast beef sandwich and I had the midday meal. It didn't take long before we got our drinks and then our lunch. The service is simply good and friendly! The roast beef sandwich was very tasty and highly recommended. The inside was a bit on the cold side, but that did not detract from the dining pleasure. The 12 o'clock hour can also be there. As you can see in the photo, it is an elongated plate with various sandwiches (carpaccio, salmon, croquette, soup and a bouncer). Partly thanks to the diversity, it was a surprising and very tasty lunch. But the quality of the sandwiches are also good! We finished to have another drink. A nice cozy place to visit and an additional advantage, it is not expensive for the quality you get.

Cozy restaurant where you can enjoy varied and good food. The menu offers options for ordering large dishes but also for shared dining. The etagere is highly recommended! Sufficient choice in terms of wines and the service is very friendly and attentive.

Delicious food, super tasty. The showcase with different starters is highly recommended, gives a good opportunity to taste many starters, and experience many different flavors, all of which are delicious and well balanced. The main courses were also excellent. Good choice of wines too, both by the bottle and by the glass.

Wat 'n heerlijk 12-uurtje heb ik vanmiddag gegeten! Fantastische gerechtjes: mini truffelsoepje, bruin brood met mini groentekroketje, brood met zalige gerookte zalm, brood met klein spiegeleitje en serrano-ham en 'n heerlijke mini carpaccio. Erg vriendelijk personeel en leuk detail: de half open keuken. Echt 'n aanrader!! Prijs - kwaliteit is meer dan in orde.

Service is horrible. I sat and tried to make my order, but the waitress, a middle aged 40 something year old lady kept telling me she was busy. After 23 long minutes I reminded her and her response was to ask me to leave if I wasn't happy. This is the second time she has done this to me and I'll never go to that place again.

Shame. After quite a few good experiences, this Sunday (July 14) was clearly a bad day. Lam-Wellington, this was expressly requested for AT LEAST medium. Turned out to be medium rare. When reporting to the waiter, he indicated that this was a medium. First of all, the service does not argue with the guest, but acts appropriately to rectify matters. The latter did not happen. lam-Wellington delivered to the Pass. Paid, and I had to point out to him that the Wellington lamb was also on the bill. No more De Wits for us for the time being

I had dinner here with a friend and we were both pleasantly surprised by the delicious food, the casual atmosphere and the friendly and attentive service. Would love to go again!

This is a very nice place. Fantastic environment and vibe, exceptionally good, friendly, professional service and the quality of the food is astounding. The scallop perfectly grilled, the carpaccio tasty and at just the right temperature, matching wines that perfect everything even more. Sometimes you have such a special evening that feels like a mini vacation, everything is fine.... that was certainly with us at De Wits. Top! Compliments to the entire team. Back to De Wits (for the third time) in June 2024. Another extremely brilliant evening. I couldn't resist the carpaccio, then the Surf and Turf and cheese. Once again really very good service and excellent food! Recommended!

Lovely sat outside in the sun, out of the wind. Delicious lunch and 3 bottles of house wine. Everything equally tasty. Service friendly, cozy and top notch.

I recently had a wonderful experience at De Wits restaurant! The food was nothing short of delicious; every bite was a culinary delight. The variety of flavors and the presentation of the dishes were of a high standard. What made the evening extra special was the impeccable service. The staff were extremely polite, attentive and hospitable. They went above and beyond to make sure my dinner went perfectly. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also pleasant and contributed to a pleasant and relaxing evening. In short, an absolute must for anyone looking for a culinary treat with excellent service!

Leuke tafel achterin met zicht op de keuken. Uitstekend vier gangen diner. Wijnarrangement voor de BOB met goede wijnen. Prima bediening. Kortom: aanrader

Net als in heel veel horecagelegenheden gaan ze hier ook voorbij aan het woord ‘ klantbeleving’ ’ Ook hier wordt keurig de vraag gesteld of alles naar wens was…. Maar als je dan van de gelegenheid gebruikt maakt en feedback geeft! Dan is dit vaak het antwoord ; Ik zal het doorgeven ….. Met de feedback/opmerking word naar de gast toe helemaal niets gedaan. Voor een egg benedict bestaande uit 1 ei, 1 boterham 1,5 plakje spek, en 2 magere dunne plakjes zalm betaal je hier € 14,- best prijzig als je daarna nog steeds geen voldaan gevoel hebt. Als je aangeeft dat dit wel heel karig is voor een lunchgerecht krijg je bovenstaand antwoord. De kwaliteit is prima in orde maar de hoeveelheid is voor een lunchgerecht echt onder de maat. Echt jammer dat er met de kritiek op dat moment niets word gedaan, zodat je als gast toch met een voldaan gevoel de zaak uitloopt.

Bon rapport qualité prix pour un repas digne d'un semi-gastronomique. La formule surprise lunch a été une agréable découverte gustative. Le personnel était très attentionné, tout est fait pour que vous soyez à l'aise ce qui n'en rend que meilleur la dégustation.

We hadden een dagje Oud Rijswijk met drie krasse knarren, we liepen hier naar binnen voor koffie en sanitaire stop. Geweldig leuke barman die in Oud Rijswijk zelf woont, veel namen, verhalen erg leuk! Mooie zaak met veel sfeer, volgende keer daar hapje eten.

Fantastisch plek, waar ik altijd met één van mijn zonen naartoe ga om een dessert te eten. Bediening is bekwaam en zorgzaam. En de desserts zijn altijd heerlijk! Ook hun carpaccio is fantastisch, vers gesneden en met veel liefde gepresenteerd!

Voor het eerst geweest. Leuke mensen in de bediening, vriendelijk klantgericht. Interieur top, socials top! Persoonlijk vind ik het terras wat krap, maar bovenop is dat een stuk beter (verhoging). Heel eerlijk, als foodie had ik persoonlijk wel iets meer smaak verwacht bij de kip terryiaki, denk niet heel lang gemarineerd, kan natuurlijk zijn als het hard gaat dat je toch snel wilt aanvullen en Dan geen tijd hebt. Maar brood heerlijk erbij en leuk gepresenteerd. Hoor ook alleen Maar goede verhalen en dat is terecht. Leuke events ook. Ga zeker nog een erbij terug!

Gezellig restaurant met erg lekker eten en top bediening. Ze houden goed rekening met dieetwensen en kunnen gerechten gemakkelijk aanpassen. Het is luxer dan het gemiddelde restaurant, dit merk je in zowel de bediening, het eten en hoe goed ze met dieetwensen rekening houden. Echt top! Je kan hier glutenvrij, lactosevrij, en zonder ui en knoflook eten. Wat mij betreft zeker een aanrader!

Gezellig restaurant in oud-Rijswijk. Geen standaard kaart, maar seizoensgerechten waarbij suggesties voor bijpassende wijnen gegeven worden. Prettige bediening. Op basis van het prijsniveau zou je wat mij betreft nét iets meer kwaliteit mogen verwachten. Al met al aanrader om te eten.
