Herberg Van Ouds 't Nest in Wijk 04

Had dinner here tonight with 24 people. In consultation with the owner, we opted for a menu and let the participants determine their choice in advance. Good tip because this meant everyone got their starter and main course at the same time. ' Nest has traditionally been a household name in Rijswijk and has changed owners several times in recent decades. The appearance and atmosphere in the cafe is fantastic. The nostalgia of a cozy old brown pub. The restaurant part has less of that and provides less of an experience. Tip: use the colors and style of the cafe there too. The food is good. I had salmon with asparagus. Personally, I think that this should include potatoes instead of fries. But all in all we had a pleasant evening with an excellent plate of food. It's a shame that it closed at 10 p.m. because we really wanted an after-dinner drink in the cafe. By the way, I will definitely come back to have a coffee or lunch on the cozy terrace.

A new owner. I have always been charmed by this restaurant, because of its conviviality and good food. I don't think anything has changed so it's worth repeating.

The service was poor, only after half an hour were we asked what we wanted to drink, we had to ask for the menu ourselves, several dishes were not available, only 1 warm vegetarian dish on the menu and after ordering we had to wait another hour for our food. The food does not taste great, basic. The atmosphere of the inn itself is certainly nice and cozy.

It's a bit hidden place and when you see it then you don't believe that it is a good restaurant. But since you enter it, you understand that you are at the right place! The owner cooks for you, talks to you, serves your table. And after first meal course you feel like you came to your old friend:). The food was great!

Nice establishment. We were there at a quiet time for a nice glass of wine after a walk. Recommended

Had lunch with a friend. Very young service (relatively). Boys were more concerned with the football on TV (and their toto bets) than with the guests. The result was that they were 40 seconds ahead of the match on their mobile phones and were already cheering for the goal before you as a visitor had seen it. The lady serving was very friendly and came over for a chat. Hope the tip goes to the person who deserved it. (The lady in question).

Visited this place with my girlfriend on the recommendation of friends. So delicious food, wonderful atmosphere and wonderful staff! The card is affordable and the price-quality ratio is excellent! We do not live nearby, but are in the area once or twice a year. Definitely worth the extra drive for us. Recommended!

We had a delicious dinner here with the entire work team (16 people). The staff was incredibly friendly. The food was fantastically tasty and fresh. The owner personally came by our table to tell us something about the restaurant and the menu. In short, a delicious meal.

Bediening vriendelijk. Eten was slecht, sfeer die was er niet Niet voor herhaling helaas voor ons.

Woon op loopafstand van 't Nest, maar nog nooit bezocht, tot vanavond dan. Gewoon een biertje en een borrelhapje. Lekker en gezellig, ik kom vaker!

Supergezellig cafetje op de landgoederenroute van Rijswijk. Met terrassen voor, achter en aan de zijkant.

Al twee keer meegemaakt dat het eten van binnen koud was. Geen salade/groente bij het gerecht, één bakje friet voor 4 personen, en als je meer wil, mag je dat vragen. Dit was een paar jaar geleden echt wel anders. Lijkt erop dat ze er wel klaar mee zijn… Jammer.

Alles top, super vriendelijk personeel en zeker een leuke plek om (met je hond) erheen te gaan!

Gezellige plek om lekker te eten. Slibtongetjes en steak. Bediening vriendelijk. Kortom aanrader. Recent weer geweest. Helemaal prima.

We waren er 's-avonds. Goede bediening, goed eten. Over de prijs/kwaliteit kan ik weinig zeggen, omdat het diner een gift was. Ook voor mensen die vegetarisch eten, is er voldoende keus. Conclusie: voor herhaling vatbaar.

Echt heerlijk gegeten! Spareribs vallen zo van het bod en frietjes lekker krokant. Ook de service is erg vriendelijk. Een prachtig plekje om tot rust te komen in Rijswijk.

We komen hier al jaren. Prima prijs kwaliteitverhouding. Leuke sfeer. Gezellig met vriendinnen en manlief gegeten.

Het eten was uitzonderlijk goed!

Gehaald jl zaterdag maar niet voor herhaling vatbaar patat was droog en hard en de hamburgers waren zonder saus en erg karig met alleen een bacon en uitjes en wat sla.

Vanavond heerlijk gegeten, ruim voldoende en vriendelijke bediening. Leuke ambiance. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar als we weer eens in de buurt zijn.

Lekker op ons gemak vrijdagavond rond 2100 een glaasje zitten drinken

Een super lekker lunchje gedaan was erg lekker is een aanrader broodje warmvlees met pindasaus bedankt tot de volgende keer
