I've had the best kibbeling I've had in Zandvoort so far. The fries were unfortunately cold.

Extremely tasty amd fresh. I was here two times and both times I was pleased about the taste and the friendly service. You can sit beside the booth and have a look at the beach while eating. They have warm (fried) fish, but also cold once. There are other sellers along the street, but I found this here comes with the best and most appealing assortment. To be fair, I must say that I haven't tried the others. Watch the seagulls when eating outside. They are kind of aggressive 😅 👉 I share more of my travel experiences and discoveries on my profile. 👇

The kippling and prawns (together €28) were really nothing special; I've had much better and much tastier dishes in the Netherlands. I'm giving it two stars because the staff was friendly.

Kibbeling is still good, but the prices are simply too high for deep-fried food. This can't go on much longer.

€11.50 for kibbeling with fries. The portion was quite large compared to other food trucks. However, the kibbeling wasn't very crispy and the taste wasn't quite as good. Therefore, 4 stars is appropriate.

The food was unfortunately very greasy and more batter than fish, but the service was very good. The staff were very sweet.

The couple behind the counter were very friendly, helpful, and incredibly welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious. Excellent value for money. We'll definitely be back to try all the other delicious dishes.

Behind the counter, everything looked neat and clean, as you could see from the outside. The staff were super friendly... The ambiance... of course, right on the promenade by the beach, amazing. Only the food was awful!

Lekker Kippeling, the stall is favorably situated in the wind. It can be enjoyed here even in a storm.

We stopped here because of the very good reviews and ordered kibbeling and "shrimp." Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The shrimp were tiny and covered in a very unappetizing, thick, sticky breading. It tasted more like a pre-packaged product than fresh fish from the sea. The salads and everything else were also poor quality and far too greasy. On top of that, it was very expensive for such poor quality.

We had ordered 2 seafood platters at 4:30. We were staying at Centerparks, so it was well packaged. Opened it in the cottage. Slightly disappointed... all hard chunks and few spices! More fish fries than anything else. Boring raw vegetables on the side and 4 sauces together in one container. Not really much either, luckily we had ordered fries to go with it. Very disappointing! Next time we'll just get it somewhere else.

What a huge disappointment. We ordered several things: a mixed bag, kibbeling (fried fish and chips), fish and fries, and drinks. Normally, you expect good fish at a fishmonger's by the sea, but here, practically everything went wrong. The kibbeling was bone dry. Not just a little dry, but so dry that it was simply inedible. Without a doubt, the worst kibbeling we've ever had. It looked like it had been sitting out for far too long or had been re-fried. The fish and fries were also completely overcooked, hard, and chewy. In the end, almost everything went straight into the bin, except for one container of fries. And as if that wasn't enough, it also cost a small fortune. For that money, you really expect something better. The only thing that seemed remotely good were the cans of drinks... but even there, things went wrong: one can of cola was leaking on the side, so even that was not okay. In short: a waste of money and a waste of food. If you're in the area and craving fish, I'd honestly give this place a wide berth. 😑

I ordered kibbeling. It arrived on a plate with more sauce than kibbeling. I thought the portion was really small! Three kinds of sauces. The taste was decent. Lots of leftover bits (hard bits) on the plate. I've had better elsewhere for €8.50.

Unfortunately, I don't share the opinions of the other reviews. We ordered takeaway and only had about a 3-minute walk to our accommodation. Upon arrival, we found the food was already cold and not tasty. The service is difficult to judge, as it's obviously a snack bar. However, when we ordered, they initially said that what we wanted was still available. Only after the employee looked at a colleague or manager/shift supervisor did she realize she could get the food from the freezer. The food we ordered was nothing special: fries and a frikandel. We usually try a second order to get a better impression. But even the taste wasn't worth a return visit. The second star is solely for the location right on the North Sea. However, since it's a mobile trailer and can also be found in the city center, the location is irrelevant.

If you're looking for the worst fish stall experience ever, this is the place to be. Zandvoort has plenty of options, but I was "lucky" enough to get kibbeling (fried fish) here. Bad choice. While I was quietly eating, my plate was suddenly attacked by seagulls. In the chaos, I dropped my food – plate on the floor, seagulls pounced. Nothing unusual on the beach, you'd think. I walked towards the stall to get another portion when suddenly an employee angrily ran towards me. Without any form of normal interaction, he started blatantly accusing me of deliberately throwing my plate on the floor?! I tried to explain, but he completely ignored me and ended up just walking away. As if that wasn't enough, I decided to call later to discuss it politely. But the staff were just as rude on the phone. Instead of understanding, they just harped on the fact that I "should have cleaned up my mess"—absolutely no interest in what had actually happened. No empathy, no decency—just rude and accusatory behavior. It's truly unbelievable that this is how you treat customers. What a sad state of affairs. This fish stall doesn't deserve customers, only seagulls.

Last month I got takeaway menus. These were lukewarm and very disappointing. Today I had three servings of kibbeling. This was also very poor; the kibbeling had no good flavor, was limp, and very greasy. The price-quality ratio is definitely not right here. For this quality, you should charge much less. The quality is deteriorating rapidly here; I'll go to a different fish stall next time.

Nice people, mediocre food for too much money. Reheated kibbeling with too many herbs. Calamaris mainly dough and little calamaris. Lesson learned, next time go to a real fishmonger and not straight to a tent on the beach.

Food was expensive and didn't taste very good. So I only ate a little and threw the rest away. Was very greasy and old fried. The consequences were still severe food poisoning with all its consequences. I will never eat from this crappy place again in my life.

Delicious fish dishes right on the beach. You can sit next to the stand on the seating and if you're lucky you'll get a spot under the parasol. When you eat the Lekkerbek there, you get three different sauces with it. If you take the food with you, you only get one sauce (for packaging reasons). Overall recommended.

Nice service, also in German. Fish was good, portion size was OK. Overall it was reasonable for the price and performance.

Had a delicious kibbeling menu. Just in time. Because even though it said it closes at 7 p.m., the flap went down earlier. Personally, I think Kibbeling is a bit too darkly baked.

Outrageously bad. So dirty, never experienced anything like this with a fish cart. We last came here years ago and it was good then. Bought dirty, rotten fish twice in a row now. So terribly dirty. The gourmet smelled so terrible that we didn't even dare to eat it when we got home. The mussels were extremely fatty, but did not taste spoiled. Afterwards we became deathly ill. Food poisoning, again..!! We will never come here, NEVER again!!!! People please be careful before you eat anything here!!!!

A shame for selling fish, ordered 5 portions of kibbeling, description of the kibbeling, spongy - very greasy - old tasting frying fat, after eating this, three people immediately felt very nauseous and had to vomit, resembling food poisoning. Never ever get your fish here, extremely bad! Staff was also friendly.
