The perfect 'pit stop' for a day full of roaring engines on the track! While the typical Dutch rain pattered pleasantly on the roof and the North Sea looked delightfully dramatic and wild, we sat inside in an oasis of calm. Flickering candles on the table, a relaxed atmosphere, and a moment of complete zen before the racing frenzy erupts. The food was truly fantastic. The Greek Poached Eggs deserve their own spot on the podium: perfectly poached, full of flavor, and prepared with love. If Max steers through the Tarzan corner this afternoon just as smoothly as this breakfast went down, that victory is all but secured. Lovely spot, great service, and highly recommended for starting the day on pole position!

Zandvoort was closed for F1, so we went by bike this time! The group had all chosen something different: the soup, Caesar, French steak, steak tartare, and of course the delicious tuna steak! It was delicious as always, and we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. Too bad about the rain on the way home…😂

A beautiful, clean beach with excellent lifeguard supervision. Be aware of the tides and jellyfish. The water was cool and the sand was choppy, making it somewhat murky. It's a good 10-minute walk from the parking lot. The beach is very popular, so be prepared to search for parking.

We come here regularly and are always amazed at how smoothly everything runs, how good and consistent the kitchen is, and how relaxed the vibe remains, despite all the wait staff being young. Really hats off to you!

Beautiful location and the place itself, but unfortunately horrible service. We had a dinner spot reserved at 20:30h, the hostess who was supposed to show us to our table was not even there, so we were in the same line as people who just pulled up frok beach. The table was not even reserved but they just put us in a random free table in the corner, while people who just pulled up got better seating. We ordered drinks and starters, and asked the waitress if we can order the main dish later she said yes. When it was time to order main dish, at 9:30pm she told us the kitchen was closed (?!?!) so we literally booked a table for dinner and ended up with no dinner. Mind you, not once we were told that kitchen was closing at that time, considering the place works until 00:00h, nor does it say anywhere on website, reservation email or anything. It’s very unfortunate because the place has such a great vibe and potential, and the starters we got were delicious, but the service is absolutely lacking and that is the only reason i would not go back or recommend this place.

Excellent service. Without a reservation, it's difficult to get a table outside. It's an Instagram hotspot with a boho vibe. The food was okay, but nothing special. You're definitely paying a premium for the location when it comes to drinks and other items.

A really dirty and smelly toilet. As a woman, you feel very uncomfortable here because it is a mixed-gender toilet and you can see men peeing. More privacy and better cleaning are really needed.

Actually 4.5 stars, but that’s not possible because I only have one very small but important point of attention... could the music be a bit softer?? Later in the evening after dinner, louder music would be more appropriate, but during dinner and drinks during the day, it is very tiring and overpowering. Everything else, absolutely everything, is top-notch! The decor, the friendly staff—although they do lose the thread occasionally, but it is very busy and they are young, so we overlook that because of their friendliness. The food and drinks are excellent. I certainly wouldn't mind a bit more variety regarding the vegetarian options throughout the months. Then I would come more often. It was a wonderful, super day at your place. Thank you very much. 🩷

Great place with energetic staff and a nice atmosphere; I love coming here! But last Sunday evening, the service really couldn't keep up. In short: our table was located in a sort of Bermuda Triangle. The ordered appetizers/bread rolls didn't arrive, despite asking three times. Eventually, they appeared after the main course. The wrong drink was brought and taken away again, but nothing was brought in its place — so we had to ask twice again. What made it even stranger: the wait staff came to us several times with orders for other tables, while our orders failed to arrive. The mobile dessert table, which we had explicitly requested, naturally didn't come either. Very disappointing.

It’s great atmosphere, one of our fav beach clubs in Zandvoort. We ordered Thai chicken and Buddha Bowl. They were very delicious! They have alcohol free Aperol so me and my baby approve this place :) The waitresses and waiters are super nice. The girl helped us was super lovely (even it was 100 degrees on that day).

The staff at Ubunto is really nice and very helpful. It wasn‘t a problem to change table from outside to a really nice spot inside. The food was amazing and so was the view. We also loved the decoration of the place as well as its cleanliness. It would be lovely to have a wider range of glutenfree dishes to choose from, but the vegan Massala curry was yummy! We wholeheartedly recommend Ubuntu and we‘ll definitely be back. 👍😊

The boho-tropical atmosphere is super cozy at sunset. Despite the place being quite crowded, the service was faster than expected, and the food was excellent. Specially the burrata and the tomate sauce served with it. They also provide blankets for when it’s too cold.

Ubuntu Beach is a lovely venue with a beautiful atmosphere. It’s stylishly decorated, spacious, and offers a good selection of food and drinks. Unfortunately, the service didn’t match the setting. We visited in the afternoon with my elderly grandmother and my two young children. As my children wanted to play outside, we politely asked if we could move to a nearby table. Although the restaurant wasn’t busy, the waitress seemed unhappy about the request. She simply told us to move our own glasses, water, and cutlery and walked away, which felt quite dismissive. The most frustrating part came when we paid the bill. The card machine wasn’t working properly, and we ended up being charged three times. After checking our bank account, we realised all three payments had gone through, so we had to return a few days later to request a refund. The waitress told us this was an issue they experience every day because their payment system doesn’t work reliably, which was disappointing to hear. It’s a beautiful place with plenty of potential, but the customer service and payment system really need improvement to match the quality of the venue.

The food was delicious. You're greeted with cold water at reception. However, you should definitely make a reservation beforehand.

Had another lovely time having drinks and food, and what nice and friendly staff. Never a long wait for service or your food. Everything is perfectly organized behind the scenes!

I went there for dinner in the evening. The ambiance and decor are very stylish, and the staff is friendly. The tables outside, and especially the sofa cushions, were very dirty. My Caesar salad, in particular, was unfortunately inedible. The chicken pieces were gray, the toasted bread was in large, inedible chunks, and the ham had been cooked for too long. I had to send the entire salad back hungry. The server apologized but otherwise didn't respond. They didn't offer me a small snack or even a coffee as an apology. Hungry and disappointed, I returned to my hotel.

We were drawn in by the atmosphere at Ubuntu Beach from the moment we arrived, but what really surprised us was how delicious the food was far beyond what we expected from a beach restaurant. We ordered the Caesar salad, truffle fries and the Brazilian lemonade and absolutely loved every single one of them. There was a small mix-up with the salad as it arrived without the chicken, but the staff immediately brought us a new one and even treated us to the lemonades as a kind gesture. The food, the service and the overall vibe were all amazing. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

We had a delicious meal! For starters, a platter with all sorts of tasty small dishes. The main course did come a bit too soon after the starters, even though we had indicated that we wanted to wait a little. They probably wanted to make room for the next guests, as it was quite busy. We had reserved in advance, though. The drinks were tasty too! :-)

I am giving it only one star, as the experience eating here was not fine at all… the salad didn’t even have a proper dressing. Besides that, we ordered a bottle of water and we waited for about 20 minutes in vain.. although I politely reiterated my demand to several people working there. Eventually I went to the bar and got a bottle of water by myself. I really don’t understand why this restaurant has such a high rating on Google… as it should not be the case. I will definitely not come back here and not recommend it to anyone either. Very negatively impressed by this restaurant and the very poor service and customer experience.

It used to be one of my favorite beach bars for a bite to eat. I just went and unfortunately, it was disappointing. Music too loud. Way too many tables on the terrace (probably driven by a need for revenue). And just a young and loud crowd. It used to have class. Unfortunately, not anymore.

Normally friendly and helpful, but during busy times we weren't allowed to sit anywhere because everything was supposedly fully booked. Shortly afterwards, a group of five without a reservation was simply seated. That didn't feel fair.

Pros: Food: The food here is simply amazing! I ordered a poke bowl—it ​​was a surefire hit. Everything was incredibly fresh, the ingredients were perfectly selected, the portions were filling and delicious. Atmosphere and view: The boho-style interior creates a relaxing atmosphere. But the main draw is, of course, the view. Watching the sunset here with a cool glass of something to the sound of the North Sea is pure bliss, well worth any inconvenience. Cons: Crowd and service: The downside to this place's popularity is its incredibly crowded nature. Due to the sheer volume of guests, service is significantly slower. Finding a waiter is no easy task, and you can often have to wait quite a while to get your order. If you're really hungry or in a rush, this can be a real test of your nerves. Bottom Line: Yes, the service is slow due to the crowds, but the amazing cuisine and fantastic sunset views more than make up for it. If you're not in a rush and looking for a relaxing getaway, this is a top-notch place. I highly recommend it!

We really enjoyed ourselves today. Nice drinks, appetizers, dinner, and dessert—everything was just perfect. The set menu was top-notch, good value, and super tasty. The mixed starter was already famous and still top-notch. I had the tuna steak and regretted not having ordered it sooner. Together with the black rice, a mix of beans, mushrooms, and samphire, nicely seasoned, this dish was absolutely perfect. And then there was the service. We were served by several people, but they were all equally friendly, patient, and helpful. It was my wife's birthday. Thanks to you, it was a day to never forget. Terimah Kasih banyak.
