The food was great but the service was bad. I called the waitress multiple times and we were ignored. No one paid attention to the customers, all the staff werw just chatting and not paying attention, which is too bad. We came because we wanted the salmon toast with poached eggs, but were told at 11am that breakfast is not served anymore, all whilst seeing plates of salmon toast and eggs bwing served the entire time. Just felt off

The fish and chips were really good and beautifully presented. My girlfriend had the side salad and the loaded fries, which were also very tasty.

Food was horrible, giving it one star for worst sushi and tuna tartar. Ordered spicy salmon sushi and there was no salmon visible, only cucumber and avocado - I returned it and they said there is salmon inside… I looked closer and indeed there was the smallest piece of salmon, rice on sushi resembled the one from AH… tuna tartar had a lot of sriracha mayo and fish was not tasty, all in all bad experience but its a shame because the beach bar looks nice

We had the best day of our lives thanks to hippie fish venue location. We found this location because we went to the restaurant and loved the delicious food the whole venue and the staff so we asked if they would also have a wedding venue. They did and it’s crazy how it was still in our budget and just a third of what you pay for a wedding in Germany! So in the beginning of October, we had our beach wedding and it was more perfect than we could’ve imagined. Starting from the whole organisation from the day we met with Iris and had our first plannings - how they were always just an email away and respond really quickly - how they took every one of our wishes, serious and made everything possible. All of our guests love the food and even the staff that took care of each and every single person. They acted so professionally in the background that we barely noticed anything and could 100% enjoy our big day. I would really recommend getting married on the beach at hippie fish to everyone and I’m gonna try and make my future kids marry here as well. It’s just like a dream come true. They also rent the venue for other events than weddings. They have a separate little location next to the restaurant for that. We will definitely be back many many more times for the good food and the beautiful location. Thank you so so much for everyone who was involved!

After a lovely stroll on the beach, we ended up at Hippie Fish. The place offers a great atmosphere with chilled lounge music at a pleasant volume. Stylishly decorated, fast, friendly service, delicious food, and unique drinks. We were surprised with a warm gyoza to try. The prices are absolutely reasonable. A definite recommendation.

Highly recommended! There were 12 of us there, including one dog. The food was incredibly delicious, and the service was incredibly friendly and quick. Everything was beautifully decorated, with a direct view of the sea :)

A fantastic restaurant right on the beach! We were there for both dinner and breakfast, and both were excellent. The dishes are creative, unusual, and truly delicious – there's something for everyone here. A particularly nice touch: dogs are welcome and receive a very friendly welcome. The service was consistently attentive and courteous. An all-around harmonious experience in a fantastic atmosphere – highly recommended!

We ate there twice. The first night, the staff were super friendly, joking around with each other and chatting enthusiastically with us, which was very pleasant. The second night, it wasn't as good; there was less interaction with the staff, and they were much more distant. Not exactly cheerful.

A beautiful boho-style restaurant right on the beach. The food is delicious, and the service is excellent. I had the prawn risotto and loved it. The cauliflower also blew me away. Absolutely fantastic!

We visited Hippie Fish for the first time and were thrilled! The entire young team was always very friendly, accommodating, and always had a smile on their faces. The food—we had falafel for starters and fish and chips and risotto with prawns for the main course—was fantastic! Very good and fresh quality! You can tell the food is cooked with love and passion. And by the way, we even got a welcome drink, which was also delicious. The location is fantastic—right by the sea! All in all, it was a wonderful evening, and I highly recommend Hippie Fish to everyone! We'll definitely be back!

I had viewed and saved in the UK. For a nice day in late September it is perfect for my palate. Just tasted the Rocket fuel coffee. Orderd the fish and chips. Best home made Mayo I have ever had. Super lovely. Very chilled out place. Relaxing music. So hope to return, had food envy.

There were two of us, and we spontaneously visited on a Friday evening. With a short wait, we had no problem getting a table – practically right on the beach with a fantastic view of the sunset (see pictures). You can also order via mobile using QR codes stuck to the tables (and pay directly online), which I would personally recommend, as the lady unfortunately made two errors when taking the order. However, the staff is always very friendly and tries to rectify things as quickly as possible if something isn't right. The appetizer plate (from 2 people) was excellent: There was (a lot of) beef carpaccio, burrata with nuts and grapes, "muhammara" (a red, well-seasoned "dip") with bread, four salmon maki (sushi), soup (with coconut), and two vegetarian gyoza with soy sauce. For the main course, we had the mussels – a large portion in a large pot, which were also very good. The fish and chips were also great – the fries were perfect, the fish a bit too crispy for my taste, but overall everything was delicious. The wine was also quite good – although we've had better. Overall, we were very satisfied and will definitely be back!

Unfortunately, it was very cramped, like being crammed into a can of sardines. The tables were so close together that it was virtually impossible for the second person to move to the other side. There was absolutely no privacy; you were literally shoulder to shoulder with your neighbors. The food, however, was excellent.

The food was tasty. I would have preferred a real side dish for the steak, given the price. The mussels were very good! We had to wait a bit for the food (about 60 minutes).

We were thoroughly impressed by the Hippiefisch restaurant. Even the appetizers were a highlight – the oysters were of outstanding quality, accompanied by a fine tuna tartare and delicious shrimp. For main courses, we tried mussels, fish and chips, and a sea bass curry, all freshly prepared and delicious. The relaxed atmosphere and pleasant ambiance invite you to linger. We felt very comfortable and would gladly return anytime.

Beautiful ambiance with a great view of the sea, unfortunately we sat further back and didn't get much of it. Pleasant music in the background and very nicely decorated in a boho style with nude tones. Great setup for beautiful photos. The restroom was missing toilet paper and had a very strong smell. That's why we deducted a star. Our table was very wobbly, as was the chair. The food was a bit greasy, and I got a stomachache and diarrhea that night. That's why we deducted a star. What was also a shame was that guests who arrived after us were served and received their food first.

A beautiful place to feel good, with delicious food. They even offer gluten-free bread, and everyone on the team is available to provide allergen information. No matter how busy it is, everyone is always friendly ❣️

The Hippie Fish is a rare location. The location on Zaandfort beach, your feet in the sand. Simply perfect. You immediately feel like vacation, coolness, happiness, and gratitude. We were able to celebrate a wedding there that couldn't have been more beautiful. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was outstanding, and the service was first-class. What a day!

Sat on the terrace in the lovely autumn sun. Enjoyed a delicious lunch and homemade green iced tea. We were surprised with a very tasty vegetarian gyoza.

Great Location. Food was very good and the price was okay. I mean, you also pay for the amazing atmosphere at the beach and the modern boho videos. So move on, haters! We really enjoyed the Sunset with beers and Burgers and had a blast. Can recommend!

A place like paradise☀️ We were here for breakfast every day for a week. The food is fresh and beautifully presented. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

I absolutely cannot recommend it. The service was practically nonexistent. No one asked if we wanted a drink, and when I finally found someone to order, we were forgotten for over an hour. After that, some of our food was no longer available. Towards the end, different servers kept coming to ask if we were having a good time and if we wanted dessert. The coordination, arrangements, and service were absolutely disastrous. Great location, but unfortunately, the atmosphere wasn't conducive to well-being. The food we did have was delicious.

We went on a busy late summer day. We were a bit late due to heavy traffic on our way to the beach, and unfortunately couldn't reach the restaurant by phone. Just to let you know we were late. Otherwise, we were very satisfied. Friendly staff and hard workers.

The weather was great. The staff is friendly, and the service is non-existent (at the beach bar). Yet we have had one of the most wonderfull days here. The atmosphere and the location are perfect. Just dont look at the price of things, then you can truly enjoy and endulge the beach life.

I was truly impressed by the creativity in the kitchen – the food was not only delicious but also prepared in an unusual way. The service was warm and very attentive from start to finish, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The boho decor is a dream and creates a unique, relaxed atmosphere. The fact that you can even purchase the furniture is a brilliant idea! Combined with the amazing view and the wonderful atmosphere, it was an all-around wonderful experience that makes the visit absolutely worthwhile. Unfortunately, there is one aspect that spoils the picture: the low tables with a fire pit, which are supposed to be inviting for dining and relaxing, are clearly being used as ashtrays. This is unfortunately unhygienic and casts a shadow on the otherwise perfect ambiance – in such a beautiful place, you wouldn't want to dine next to cigarette butts.

Wow! What a fantastic spot this is, right on the beach with breathtaking sea views. A unique blend of beach club and restaurant, tastefully decorated both inside and out. The atmosphere is relaxed, while the remarkably friendly staff pays close attention to all guests. The drinks menu features delicious lemonades and cocktails (highly recommended: Bobby's Rose Lemonade!). The menu is compact, but so diverse that it's hard to choose. Everything we had was simply delicious! We even saw satisfied guests purring around us 😻 We now have a new favorite place to eat in Zandvoort!

This is by far my favorite spot near Zandvoort. The food and drinks are always good, the seating is comfortable, and the menu offers plenty of variety. I recommend the matcha latte and the toast with whipped feta, avocado, and egg! The pistachio overnight oats are also delicious for breakfast.

The steak was tough, and the mussels are much better at an Italian restaurant. The snacks are – like everywhere else – fried, but they're still good. The beach bar, with great music and friendly staff, is perfect for a few drinks and snacks.

I've eaten and had drinks here several times. Always a great experience. Last night, I ate and had drinks again with a group of six. It was truly delicious! We enjoyed it so much, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the food was fantastic!
