This is by far my favorite spot near Zandvoort. The food and drinks are always good, the seating is comfortable, and the menu offers plenty of variety. I recommend the matcha latte and the toast with whipped feta, avocado, and egg! The pistachio overnight oats are also delicious for breakfast.

The service was incredibly fast, friendly, and professional. The team clearly worked well together. Orders were taken promptly and served quickly. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the location is a wonderful place to relax.

We went there once for lunch and once for breakfast, and it was absolutely fantastic. Both the interior and exterior decor were super cute, and the location by the sea was simply fantastic! There were a few vegetarian options, which were really delicious and very fresh ☺️

⸻ The food, especially the evening menu, still has a lot of room for improvement. The price-performance ratio is completely unjustified. The steak was tough, and the mussels are much better at an Italian restaurant. The snacks are – like everywhere else – fried, but they're still good. The beach bar, with great music and friendly staff, is perfect for a few drinks and snacks.

Very nice cozy place, with good modern chill music. We had a very tasty lunch, fresh drinks, and spent a few hours in amazing atmosphere. With pleasure I put highest marks, and for sure will come back here.

We had a perfect summer evening at Hippie Fish, including the joyful sundown ceremony. The vibe is simply great; good food, stylish, warm setting and atmosphere. But the staff is the best part; attentive, al authentique and unique, truly hard workers but so full of fun and joy and with a huge team spirit. It was a pleasure just sitting there and enjoy.

We visited Hippie Fish twice during our vacation to the Netherlands. The first visit was for lunch inside and the staff was super lovely! The second visit (because we obviously couldn’t stay away) was on a busy Saturday evening. We sat in the lounge area on the beach where you order online instead of having table service. The online ordering site was very user friendly and everything we ordered arrived impressively quickly, especially considering how busy they were. The food and drinks were amazing during both visits. I cannot recommend Hippie Fish enough - truly nothing but good vibes inside and out!

It's not bad, but it's not a place I'd particularly recommend. The restaurant is huge, with a slightly factory-like feel. The fact that water is paid for, but it's the first thing you're offered before you're even seated, raised red flags. On top of the dishonest aspect, the price wasn't listed on the drinks menu. The food was good, but nothing special.

A table for four at 6:00 PM and then being able to stay until 10:00 PM speaks volumes, and it gets even better. The food was delicious, and the service was even better than everything else. Isa is a true hospitality star who truly knows how to give customers the ultimate customer experience. We ordered the mixed starter for 4 people but only received it for 3. The waitress politely resolved the issue by offering us a drink. Great service, and the young men and women serving are friendly! The food is truly delicious, and on such a beautiful summer day, there's no better place to spend your evening. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

I regularly enjoy going to Hippie Fish for a day at the beach and/or a bite to eat in the evening, then ending the day with a drink at sunset. The Bohemian atmosphere creates an Ibiza vibe; the beach beds are comfortable, the food is delicious, and the staff is super friendly and always with a smile on their faces.

I recently visited this beach restaurant in Mykonos and left feeling disappointed, not just with the food but with the atmosphere behind the scenes. As a customer, it was hard not to notice that the staff seemed exhausted, stressed, and clearly under pressure. They appeared to be understaffed and overworked, and at times it even felt like they were being mistreated by management. This had a direct impact on service — orders took far too long, follow-ups were inconsistent, and overall there was a lack of attentiveness you would expect in a place charging premium prices. On the food side, most of the fish dishes were decent, fresh enough but nothing memorable. Unfortunately, the pasta dishes were a real letdown — bland, lacking proper seasoning, and not at all what you’d expect from a restaurant in such a prime location. The setting itself has potential, but when the staff are clearly struggling and the kitchen can’t deliver consistently, the whole experience suffers. Management needs to treat their team better and focus on quality if they want guests to return.

Yes, very much so. It's really great here. This is a very nice place with a very nice atmosphere. It was really nice here and we are both enjoying it... And then the loaded fries are really tastey and the prices aren't too expensive. Of course, €3.80 for a small cappuccino isn't cheap. But in these times, that's no wonder...

We went to hippie fish for fish but they don't serve fish for lunch. Well - this was the first disappointment. After that... it is obviously a posh place... perfect if you want to display your latest D&G outfit or your new lips.

Very good, truly refined cuisine. Service, however, was nonexistent, provided by completely unfamiliar women. No proactivity. Apart from one or two. The others avoid working, dance, or take pictures... magical. A shame, because the food is great and the location is fantastic.

Very very beautiful place and tasty food! As a student i think its very expensive so I couldn’t enjoy the experience without being scared about spending too much accidentally because they ask you about water and bread without you having seen the prices and without telling you that it will cost you a lot if you agree!

At the time (11th of July) we were eating everything was perfect. The taste, the smell and the way it was served. When we got home we (both) had some serious stomach problems. I thought I might let them know by sending an email. Even tho the food looked amazing the service really let it down and took of the shine from the good service they provided. Until today 6th of August I didn’t receive a reaction. But than again it is what it is♥️✨👏🏽

It was very cozy. The decor was beautiful. Great music. We had a delicious gin and tonic and a wonderful portion of nachos.

The location is truly beautiful—right on the beach with a great atmosphere. The restaurant's interior is also very tastefully and modernly decorated. The food was okay—nothing special, but solid. Unfortunately, the service outside wasn't convincing during our visit. It seemed either lackluster or simply very slow, which was a shame. Still, overall, a good place to visit.*

Service was unfriendly and poorly organized. After 9:30 p.m., no food was available. Breakfast was supposed to be available until 11:00 a.m., but after 10:50 a.m., nothing could be ordered.

Very nice restaurant with a pleasant ambiance. The food was delicious despite the limited selection. Service was friendly and attentive, but a separate bill isn't available unless you calculate it yourself. One of the waitresses seemed annoyed. Otherwise, all in all, a great view of the beach.

Compliments: the food was excellent, the restaurant looks beautiful, and the staff was friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed our visit. I'm writing this review because I've noticed that you're not reachable by phone or email. This is quite surprising and actually not in keeping with the restaurant's image and quality. That's why I'm reaching out this way. Payment was made around 8:00 PM. Could I still receive a copy of the receipt? The bill was approximately €88, but I forgot to bring the receipt. Today we had a super breakfast at Hippie Fish and, as usual, it was delicious and the staff always had friendly faces! Really great business and delicious food! Compliments.

It was busy, as we'd already discovered a few months earlier. We couldn't get in then because we just dropped in. So this time we made a reservation (it's a few hours' drive from where we live). I was a bit skeptical because it was very busy. But I wasn't right; the food was truly delicious. The flavors were outstanding. A great place to go! (Although I'm not a big fan of overly fancy and crowded places.)

We went out to eat with the family and were completely impressed: excellent service, delicious food, and a wonderful atmosphere. It's best to make a reservation in advance! PS: Dogs are welcome – our four-legged friend received a warm welcome.

I reserved a table for seven here, and I'll definitely be back. The atmosphere is relaxed, with nice music in the background, and the food was truly amazing! We tried various things from the lunch menu and some cake, and absolutely everything was fantastic! I especially loved the staff, with Loëlla as the absolute star. They even sang for my mother's birthday. It was my first time at Hippie Fish, but I'm far from done. You've got a new regular. So for anyone planning a day trip to Zandvoort and wanting to enjoy a delicious meal, Hippie Fish is the place to be. The entrecôte sandwich is one of their recommendations.

EDIT: Both me and my wife got sick from the food so downgrading it to a 1 star for food.. Mango smoothy was matter of fact not a mango smoothy. The fish was terrible and greasy. Sauce was alright tho… Langoustine was good. Fries were bad and greasy So not the best, but the people were nice. Music was to loud for us so it ruined the cozy atmosphere. But if you are into that then sure.

The food was okay; we've had better food in Zandvoort. The service staff was inattentive. You had to make yourself heard to order something. Furthermore, a cappuccino was forgotten several times and never arrived. Restrooms were okay, interior very nice. Great location!

In love. Went three times there and no complaints. I had for breakfast the pancakes and oat cappuccino. Amazing! As dinner my mom and I had the steak and the green burger which was vegan and it was soo good. I can recommend it for couple, alone or family! The service was also nice and friendly and so was the atmosphere. Definitely coming back again!!

The booking was very smooth and possible to complete the table booking online. The prices are unfairly high and be careful if you order any mixed plate, the restaurant charges the mixed plate price mentioned on the menu multiplied by number of people sitting at the table without giving any info in advance. Just for a plate of appetisers which were not even good enough we paid 31 euros and the fish and chips were very low quality. Overall service was ok and on time however the food quality and quantity on the plate was very bad.

Great atmosphere and really delicious food. The drinks are a bit pricey, but that's normal for this area. I had fish and chips, my wife had the burata bowl, and we were both very satisfied. A waitress walked around the tables offering various desserts – if we hadn't already ordered cocktails, we definitely would have had them (really clever).

Delicious food, good atmosphere and top service

Beautiful place to sit and enjoy the beach with a drink. €8 for a ginger tea was a bit expensive though, especially when there wasn't enough ginger in the hot water. They have plenty of staff which is great!! We were asked by several different staff members if we'd already been served yet. Unlike most places where you can't even get anyone's attention. Didn't eat here but the food looked lovely from what we saw other people ordering

Best Place in Zandvoort if you want to feel like summer never ends. Good food, better vibe, unbeatable view.

If I could give it 6 stars, the atmosphere, service and food quality would deserve it. We waited 12 minutes for our cocktail, which we ordered after ordering, but after 10 minutes they told us that of course they would not charge it at checkout! We have never had a lunch in such a cozy, seaside place anywhere, even though we have been to about 30 different Mediterranean beaches around the world! No matter what age you are, you will definitely feel young again here! You always feel good in a beautiful environment, in the company of beautiful people!

We were invited to a wedding there. The food was excellent, the service was very prompt, and the beachfront ambiance was perfect. The drinks were also well mixed.

Good food and amazing place for watching beautiful sunsets. Service was very nice, we got a really good table and when seagull stole our food they gave us a new meal no problem and no extra charge.
