Very cozy and excellent beach bar. The dinner was delicious again today, it was super.

It wasn't busy at all on the terrace, but it took a very long time before anyone came. One waitress just walked past, and I was only served when something was brought to the other table because I spoke to them myself. When I had a question about the menu that required checking with the kitchen, it took forever again. I went inside to pay myself, but the card terminal screen wasn't displayed, and later I saw on my bank statement that more had been debited than what I was told I had to pay.

Nice location to sit, and that applies to the entire beach in Zandvoort; beautiful view. But the repeated unfriendly looks from the staff, or rather, in hindsight, being glared at by the waitresses, was downright unacceptable and below par. We sat on the terrace for a while and it really felt as if our (multicultural) group of four was being deliberately ignored, so we left after about 25 minutes.

We had a really delicious meal.

It was a pleasant place to sit. However, we had to wait a long time to order. The staff wasn't very friendly either. We had lunch and drinks here.

And honestly: it’s not only fun for the kids, but also wonderful for us as parents. 😄 The kids can play happily, while you keep a good eye on where they are from the terrace. This way, they can entertain themselves and we can quietly enjoy a drink. 🍹 And we haven't even talked about the food yet… 😋 You can enjoy delicious food here and savor tasty tapas and other dishes. After a stressful experience at the place next door, the staff here were kind and promptly seated us. I got the cheeseburger which was absolutely delicious! Friendly, prompt service. Thank you!

A great place on the beach with an incredible view. There are tables and comfortable sofas outside in the shade. We ordered croissants with jam, and they were delicious. The prices are reasonable for the location. I recommend it.

Absolutely terrible and unfriendly staff! I've rarely experienced anything like it! The location is beautiful and the food is okay. But that's not enough to make up for the incredibly bad staff.

Despite it not being busy, we were not served, so we ordered elsewhere.

Upon arrival, we were well assisted. We received 3 menus for 6 people. We had ordered beer: 5 half-liters (pods, this surprised us positively) and 1 cocktail with a plastic straw (she personally liked this). And the waiter came over with 5 half-liters and said the word "Beer," which brought us a lot of luck. We toasted and ordered food. After that, we ordered a shot, which arrived at the same time as the food. The food was a good portion and tasty; we had ordered extra sauce even though the original quantity of sauce was already good, so big plus points! The Sex on the Beach cocktail was very tasty; the price-quality ratio is good. The fish and chips (actually a kind of battered fish) were not too greasy, but tasty. Good variety of sauces. Tasty salad with vegetables and fruit. Sometimes there are bad songs, sometimes good songs too; quite multicultural😆. (And we got extra straws)

The food here was very filling and very tasty! The chicken burger was quite big and the fries were well-salted. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant inside was super cozy. I will definitely come back here again!

It was super fun and we had a delicious meal. We were also welcomed very warmly. Highly recommended if you want to eat on the beach or enjoy the view with a drink.

What a fantastic place this is. I rented the summer house for a party and everything went really perfectly. Very pleasant communication and very friendly service. They are open to many things and look for solutions. For example, it was very hot on the day of my party, so they kept a spot free on the terrace. In addition, the food was really delicious. Large portions, but also very good quality. I definitely recommend this place, for a party but also just to sit there and have a drink or a bite to eat!

Had a delicious meal after work yesterday, but was turned away today due to so-called busyness, even though half the terrace was empty. That was a one-time thing, and unfortunately the last time again.

Update: Ate there again on June 5th and it was very tasty once more, especially the generous portion of dish and chips! We had a truly delicious meal here tonight! It was nice to sit inside because it was getting a bit chilly outside. What a beautiful and lovely location. Very atmospheric and cozy. The food was very good, beautifully presented on the plates, and generous portions. And what nice, sweet, and attentive staff; we will definitely be back!

Very disappointed with our latest experience at Paviljoen Ons. We were turned away as a group of four friends with the message that they were closing, even though there were still plenty of guests present. The closing time was 10:00 PM and we were there at 8:30 PM. We always enjoyed coming here with the family, but this felt unwelcoming and very unpleasant. Unfortunately, this has changed our view of this place.

Poor service; it seems they're adapting it to the new clientele... It feels a bit like being in Calcutta.

We have been waiting 30 minutes for a place where we can order and still nothing, and they also said they were sending someone.

Great beach bar, one point of criticism and that is that we often had to go back inside ourselves to ask if we could order something.

Had a really lovely dinner here! The food was excellent—especially the white fish carpaccio, which was outstanding, and the salmon with teriyaki sauce was just as delicious. The atmosphere is cosy and relaxed, and the waitress was kind, professional, and attentive without being pushy. Definitely recommended!

The view was good, the food was so-so, not really to our taste. The staff was friendly.

For the 2026 season, there is a new chef and menu. It was truly outstanding! The value for money was really very good. Service was fine, just good. I will be eating here more often!

The food was good. The service was absolutely unsatisfactory. A waiter in worn-out sweatpants; you practically have to beg for attention before you can even place an order, and even then, you have to ask for a menu first. And the menu is only in Dutch. For me, this is completely unacceptable in a resort of this kind. There's zero warmth; no one asks if, for example, everything is alright. They didn't even bring napkins with the finger food. A bitterballen falls on the floor right in front of us. It wasn't replaced. The ambiance is okay, but there are definitely nicer beach bars in the same price range.

Substandard food, bored service, prices like in St. Tropez.

We went there because the kids wanted to use the jumping castle and ended up ordering various food to share. The food was amazing, but the service time, although there weren’t many others, was really bad. The kids menu was huge and reasonably priced, we had Carpaccio, steak stripes, bitterballen, wedges and bruschetta.

What a bad beach bar, food not recommended, service has no interest in customers at all, when paying ask for the receipt often the bill is incorrect, totally not recommended to spend a nice day there for your expensive money,

Great place for a cold beer and enjoy the view.

We spontaneously stopped by for dinner in beautiful weather and glorious sunshine. It was pleasantly quiet, as always. The service was very friendly. Thank you for your hospitality. The food has improved considerably compared to last year. It's now available as a sharing menu and is much more appealing than before. Thank you, we'll be happy to come back.

Cozy! Don't know why but it took half an hour or more for someone to come by. We almost left to order something else but it arrived just in time. They are friendly enough

The view from the tables is truly beautiful. Unfortunately, my food was never brought, despite ordering, so I can't give a review. The waiters forgot about me. It's better to sit there in the morning, when food and drinks are delivered more quickly.

Our pavilion 11 is a real "beach tent". In addition to the many themed and luxurious lounge options, ONS also offers you the old-fashioned beach feeling.

Nice atmosphere and an acquaintance of mine from Amsterdam brought this to my attention. Joop comes there every day and is a regular customer.

Ate here last week and it was well below par. We noticed the "chef special" and the sea bass, but it was very mediocre. Sea bass was very dry and the special lukewarm and tasteless. Add some dressing from Sligro. It looked like it had been heated up in a microwave. Service was also mediocre. Could use some more laughs. And 4 different faces at the table. We took our dessert elsewhere. We didn't feel like eating this here anymore. Price for quality was way too high, especially for the bass. We won't be coming back. Much better options if you look further (which is what we had hoped to do)

The waitresses deliberately ignored us and didn't serve us, very unfriendly staff. Many people also had to wait a long time at other tables. Food nothing special, but the price is too expensive. Won't go there again.

Since we have a little one this has become our go-to place whenever the sun is out. Thanks to their playground by the terrace you can enjoy drinks and/or satisfy your hunger while watching your kid play. Enough food choices that cover the basics. Decent taste and quality. Crew and price is okay. Toilet is well-maintained and have a changing table. They also have an outdoor shower to rinse-off to. On a very busy summer day when other restos are full this one had free tables! I almost hesitated to share this coz i’d like to keep it that way and wouldn’t want it to be popular but they do deserve a recommendation so here it is. As long as they keep the kid-friendliness and don’t deteriorate on the food and availability we’ll be loyal customer for the next years to come!

The staff is totally overwhelmed and very inattentive. Orders that were repeated immediately did not reach the table. The price-performance ratio was the worst in Zandvoort so far this year. 3 people sat at the table and there were always drinks and food for two. We were definitely there for the last time. Not recommendable

The food has low quality. Lemonade has no lemon and tastes like medicine. Chicken is certainly dry and the side salad is sooo lousy, absolutely no effort, dry, and the potato cold salad… the potato was not cooked. Portion is not enough, also the fries are not crunchy. I saw another table with nachos and cheese look good. Personnel was kind. Ambiance is good. But if the food is not good… well, Zandvoort has many other places to choose.

A great beach bar with a somewhat limited (Heineken) beer list. The staff is friendly and on the day we were there the heater was roaring wonderfully. The toilets were clean.

Eating out on the beach is and remains unique, also with the Zandvoort Seniors Association, where you can enjoy a nice dinner with like-minded people, with a good helicopter view from the crew. 😀 👍🏻 👂 👁👁

Straightforward beach pavilion, basic menu, cheap compared to other beach bars, sunny terrace, enough shelter from the wind, weekly menu in spring and autumn.

We had a coffee and a cappuccino. In my opinion, €6 is completely fine for the view you were able to enjoy. The service was really nice and the toilets were clean. The atmosphere was super nice and cozy.

Nice place with a view of the sea. The food was good and they also had a special which was cheaper. The seafood was fresh and tasty. Highly recommend.

Wir waren hier zum Abendessen. Das Ons liegt direkt am Zandvoort Beach mit entsprechend sehr schönem Ambiente ❤️ zum Essen hatten wir den Salat mit Ziegenkäse, Kinderpasta und -pfannkuchen. Alle waren zufrieden 😀

Ils ne savent pas ce qu est une limonade. Grenadine et eau. Bizarre. Mais endroit tendance et très "beachy". Summer is coming. (Les toilettes sont très propres mais payantes)

Mein Kind und ich hatten uns das Restaurant aufgrund der guten Bewertungen rausgesucht. Blick auf die Nordsee, inklusive schon untergehender Sonne hat was. Allerdings braucht es mal wieder Zeit bis sich ein Servicemitarbeiter*in bemüht eine Karte zu bringen. Nach gut 10 Minuten haben wir dann unsere Getränke bestellt, solange hat es gedauert bis wir die Bestellung aufgeben konnten. Nach weiteren 25 Minuten kam auch eine Bedienung und wollte unsere Essensbestellung aufnehmen, die ich dann mit der Begründung und Frage, warum wird man hier in diesem tollen Lokal nicht bedient bzw. warum kommt den kein Servicemitarbeiter*in in einer angemessenen Zeit vorbei, ablehnte. Das Ons ist bestimmt nicht auf mein ca. €70,00 für's Essen was es gekostet hätte, angewiesen Möchte nicht wissen wie es ist wenn das Lokal voll ist. Erläuterung der Mitarbeiterin, es ist so voll ;) evtl. sollten die Servicemitarbeiter in Stationen aufgeteilt werden und nicht alle irgendwo rumlaufen - super Ansatz!! Naja wir sind ja noch ein paar Tage da.

Wir haben nur was getrunken. Aber die Lokation ist sehr schön und die Bedienung sehr höflich. Die Preise sind im Vergleich zu anderen Strandbars gut!

Gutes Essen mit nettem Personal in einer schönen Location.

Schade das wir erst heute am letzten Abend da waren. An die tolle freundliche und auch hübsche Bedienung, du bist echt ein toller Mensch.

Heerlijk koffie gedronken en een uitsmijter gegeten. Beide smaakte heerlijk. Bediening was top. We komen snel weer eens langs. Een aanrader.

Duurde even voor de bestelling werd opgenomen ( vriendelijk) Lange wachttijd voor het eten kwam Slib tongetjes weinig smaak en niet krokant Maaltijd salade carpaccio geen bijzondere dressing

Heute vor einem Monat haben unsere Kinder dort ihre Hochzeit gefeiert. Die Location ist einfach super toll für solch einen Anlass, um mit der Familie, Freunden auch mit Kindern das zu drinnen und rund herum mit Veranda und draußen am Strand zu feiern. Es ist alles da. Das Ambiente vom ONS ist wunderschön. Bei den Vorbereitungen half uns der Service haben bzw. die Tischgruppe gestellt. Das Brautpaar hatte sich für ein Barbecue entschieden, welches uns auch sehr gut geschmeckt hat. Getränke wurden serviert. Eine Musikanlage ist auch vor Ort. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und unkompliziert. Danke, es war ein tolles Fest! Mee(h)r geht nicht. 😃

We love the playground and the jumping castle for our kids! What a fantastic setup. But unfortunately the foods was very underwhelming. My partner got a shredded salad served straight out of a plastic bag with a lot of brown pieces. I had the club sandwich which was slightly better, but served with the cheapest white bread. No oat milk for our coffee as well, which is a first here for us in Zandvoort. This pavilion has the potential to be great, but improvements are required with the food

Ze brachten mijn vriendin gratis een nieuw broodje toen die was gestolen door een zeemeeuw. En de broodjes waren ook nog eens lekker.

Wir haben hier lecker gefrühstückt, nur leider war mein Spiegelei fast kalt .

Perfect place to chill and have a drink. Nice iced coffees and sangria. I did not try the food but it looked good also.
