Always worth a visit. The food and cocktails are good. The location and view are perfect, and the service is friendly and attentive. The prices aren't exactly cheap, but they're okay.

During a family reunion, we enjoyed an excellent lunch buffet. Delicious sandwiches and salads. The service staff was incredibly friendly, efficient, and fast, despite it being a sunny Sunday with lots of guests. It was a wonderful experience. Therefore, we highly recommend this beach restaurant if you're coming with a large group!

From the very first contact to the final proposal, the communication was incredibly warm and professional. The team on-site was outstanding: welcoming, attentive, and made us feel completely at ease from the moment we arrived. The entire menu was a culinary delight—from the sparkling wine reception to the snacks, starters, main courses, and desserts. Every dish was absolutely delicious, each one better than the last. Compliments to the kitchen! A huge thank you for making this day so special—and to the entire Far Out team for your amazing work. You created an experience we’ll cherish for a long time.

On vacation we ate here almost everyday. Great food and great location!

Potential Ruined by Poor Service and Inconsistent Policies We came to this restaurant in Zandvoort hoping for a relaxing evening but unfortunately left feeling disappointed and poorly treated. The experience began with a lack of basic attentiveness. We were seated at chairs without cushions and had to find and place them ourselves, even after our initial orders were taken. This small detail set the tone for the service that followed. The most troubling part of our evening came when a waiter approached our table. Without any polite introduction or discreet inquiry, he demanded that we stop smoking cannabis. The approach was abrupt and presumed we were acting inappropriately. I explained that as a registered medical cannabis patient in the Netherlands, I use it for therapeutic reasons. Only after I had to justify my medical needs did he concede, but then told me I had to move off the terrace to a different area because of the smell. This is where the restaurant's policy became glaringly inconsistent and unfair. At the same time, other patrons were freely smoking cigarettes on the terrace, creating a smell that can be equally, if not more, unpleasant to non-smokers. We were not asked if we minded the smell of their cigarettes, yet my legally permitted medicine was treated as a public nuisance. This double standard is unacceptable. A person's medicine should not be stigmatised and treated with less consideration than a recreational cigarette. For the management's benefit, here is how this situation should have been handled to ensure guest comfort and dignity: * A Discreet and Polite Approach: If a staff member has a concern, they should approach the table quietly and politely. Instead of a demand, a simple, "Excuse me, I'd like to gently clarify our restaurant's policy on smoking," would be appropriate. * Inquire Before Accusing: The Netherlands has a clear legal framework for medicinal cannabis. The immediate and correct question should have been, "For our awareness, may I ask if this is for medicinal purposes?" This shows respect and avoids making a patient feel like a lawbreaker. * Consistent and Fair Policies: If the policy is about "smell" or "smoke," it must be applied consistently to all patrons. Allowing cigarette smoke while segregating a medical cannabis user is discriminatory. If the establishment permits smoking, it should permit all legal forms of it, or alternatively, have a dedicated smoking area for everyone, regardless of what they are smoking. A guest should never have to justify their medical condition in the middle of a restaurant. We felt singled out and unwelcome. While the location might have potential, the lack of staff training in customer service and Dutch law regarding medical patients completely overshadowed our experience. We hope this review serves as a learning opportunity for the management to improve their procedures for the future.

In itself a nice beach club, food and drinks are okay

Incredibly friendly service, and the location is superb. We had a lovely seat with the beautiful sun shining before us. A beautiful view of the sea. The rib fingers were really good, the shrimp were a bit disappointing (after all, you're by the sea), and the same goes for the salmon and sea bass. The fries were nice and crispy. A bit limited for the kids, but they enjoyed their meal. The tiramisu is tasty but a modern twist, not classic flavors. There's still a social deal promotion open, so for that price, you can get a really good meal here; this time, it was just okay.

We've been coming to Cannes for many years, and this beach club certainly holds its own. We had a delicious meal after the Formula 1 race. We reserved in advance, and the lovely table with a sea view was ready and waiting, so we could sit down right away. Our compliments, and we'll see you next year.

Five of us came here for a quick drink and then dinner. It's a nice place, but as soon as the drinks arrived, we were disappointed. The iced coffee was warm and had black hairs in it. We figured, "That happens, let's just mention it." Then a new drink arrived, but it was warm again. The matcha wasn't exactly cold, but more like lukewarm. The staff was quick, but a bit grumpy, but that's okay. All the house rules sounded normal and okay, but it said no bringing your own drinks, which is okay because we didn't bring any food. We only had a small water bottle, which I drank from, and then they told me that wasn't allowed either, which I found very strange because I'd ordered another drink and spent a lot of money, but I'm not even allowed to drink from my own water bottle. We ordered three Caesar salads, but they were all very dry and barely contained any chicken. A truly bland Caesar salad for 21.50, not exactly a bargain. Not again!

Very nice view from the terrace towards the sea. Attentive service. I wanted to eat inside after a nice drink outside, but inside was full, so I decided to eat outside. Just before they served, a table became free and they offered it immediately to me. Food was good.

Everything is perfect. A fantastic beach club. The food is delicious, the service is also great and very attentive. The interior is cozy, and everything is there, so in a word, unique.

Nicely decorated, but relatively dark. We came here because I was in the mood for an acai bowl—but the acai bowl didn't have much to do with it. While it was tasty, it tasted more like mascarpone mixed with acai.

The six of us had a wonderful time on the terrace overlooking the sea and Zandvoort beach. We ordered delicious cocktail cocktails and a chief's plate, which is a kind of tapas platter. The lounge sofas and chairs were lovely.

We were initially refused entry because we didn't have a reservation. Then we returned with a reservation and were still denied entry, while other guests were allowed in freely. In my opinion, it was because we looked like foreigners; I can't make much more of it. I'm utterly disappointed that this is still happening in 2025.

Comfortable sunbeds on the beach. Friendly service. The prices are a bit steep, maybe a bit too much, but hey, you don't have to :) What I found rather odd is that if you spend all day on the beach on sunbeds costing €75 and also enjoy drinks and food here, you have to pay a €5 reservation fee for reserving a table in the evening. It's not about the €5, but it's easily earned that way. A deposit for the reservation is fine, but then you have to deduct it from the bill.

Lovely, relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful interior both inside and out, and very nice and comfortable seating under the parasol and behind the windbreak with a sea view. The staff were excellent in terms of service, but didn't enhance the overall experience. The food and cocktails were delicious! See you soon 😃

Poor service and a grumpy attitude from the staff. Orders arrived late and without apologies. Everything felt rushed and unfriendly.

Most staff was friendly and the setting is lively. I was doing workaction stuff when one of the staff, who turned out to be the manager, came out of knowhere and commanded me to put away my laptop as if I was his misbehaving child. He could have just asked politely. (@restaurant: It's too bad, I was just thinking of hosting our business' 10 year anniversary here.)

After an afternoon at the beach, we ended up at this beach bar. Beautiful, tropical decor, with a fantastic view of the sea. Good service, attentive and efficient. The food was surprisingly delicious, well-prepared, and the presentation and garnishes were great. Dessert was unfortunately limited; no ice cream, unfortunately.

I was there on vacation, and the food and drinks were simply divine! Even though it was a weekend and we didn't have a reservation, we managed to get a seat thanks to the helpful staff.

The beach bar/club was quite empty as we chose a chilly day to walk on the beach but the potential for it to be amazing when bustling is there. Very friendly waitresses and the Caesar salad was fresh and good as far as salads go. Very interesting first time for me, there is a Jewellery vending machine on the property called MY Jewellery. I luckily got a goodie bag.

Right on the beach! The atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant and warm. The interior is elegantly decorated, and the seating is very comfortable, inviting you to linger. The food was consistently excellent. We had burgers, fries, salad, ribeye, coffee, and dessert – all cooked to perfection. The dessert in particular was exceptionally delicious and exactly to my taste! The staff was very attentive and friendly.

The drinks and food are relatively expensive, but you can eat right at the beach with a view of the sea. The staff didn't come over very often, so we ordered online. This was very easy to do using the QR code on the table. So, all in all, it was a good visit!

Very disappointing experience. There is a clear distinction between customers, some guests get all the attention and service, while others are ignored or even treated unfriendly. It feels like you only count if you are “known” or noticeable enough. The food was also downright bad. Lukewarm, tasteless and clearly not fresh. For the prices they charge, you can really expect more than this level. Even the presentation was sloppy. On top of that, the policy really makes no sense. Rules are applied arbitrarily and change per staff member. No clear communication, no customer focus. If you ask a question, you are fobbed off or get a blunt answer. TERRIBLE!!!

We came with a group of 5 people to relax and enjoy a day off. Unfortunately, the experience was anything but pleasant. We were repeatedly told that we were not allowed to sit at one table with 5 people, while we had spent a lot on food and drinks. It felt like we could barely sit down without being disturbed, while some of us had come from far away. We were constantly reminded of the house rules that were on the table, but there was nothing on it about how many people were allowed to sit at a table. The service also left a lot to be desired. Most of the staff (9 out of 10 waitresses) came across as unfriendly and irritated. For simple things like extra glasses and ice, we had to ask several times, eventually five times, before it was arranged. In addition, our table remained dirty for a long time, with food remains and drinks that had been in the sun for hours. That was simply ignored. All in all, a big no-go. Too bad, because the location has potential, but the service and attitude of the staff made this day downright unpleasant. And I haven't even mentioned the forms of discrimination we have experienced, which absolutely does not belong anywhere.

A beautifully located restaurant right on the beach. You definitely pay for the location. In my opinion, the value for money isn't quite right. The food was okay, but nothing special in terms of taste. The reservation fee for the terrace is a real pain.

A superb location right on the water with a fantastic view – a visit to the Far Out Beach Club is worthwhile for that alone. We went here for breakfast, but the selection was rather limited. The selection was very limited, the portions rather modest, and unfortunately, we weren't really filled. The coffee and cappuccino also came in small cups – a bit meager for breakfast lovers. Those used to a traditional, hearty breakfast probably won't get their money's worth here. However, the service was friendly and the atmosphere overall pleasant.

We enjoyed the sunset there yesterday and enjoyed wonderful burgers on the large, cozy terrace. Delicious toppings and a truly satisfying flavor. They were accompanied by delicious, crispy fries with mayonnaise. Everything was very attractively presented, and the burgers were served "well done." The drinks (Primitivo and sparkling water) rounded off the evening. The view is excellent, and we received very friendly service. Relaxing, peaceful music played in the background. The evening was truly enjoyable.

We were there for a relaxing evening and were thoroughly satisfied. The stylish ambiance and very friendly and attentive service provided us with a wide range of starters. We tried all the appetizers and followed them with the beef burger. We'll definitely stop by again on our next visit to Zandvoort.

We ended up at this beach bar via socialdeal. The food was very good! The food also came very quickly, which was good. As a starter I had the Iberico rib fingers, a super tasty and large starter. As a main course a chicken satay, also very good. Something went wrong with the sweet potato fries so we got extra, very neatly resolved. For dessert we shared the delicious red velvet cake and the stroopwafel cake.

The ambiance right on the beach is simply gorgeous and invites you to linger. The relaxed atmosphere with direct views of the sea is particularly noteworthy – it's a great place to unwind. We rate the service 4 stars – friendly and attentive overall, with minor fluctuations depending on the time of day. Overall, a highly recommended place that we will definitely visit again on our next vacation!

Best Grandma's Dutch Apple Cake I've ever had!

First evening of vacation. We were strolling along the beach when we got hungry. The Far Out looked good from the outside, so we went in because it was a bit too windy. There was inconsequential music playing, and the service was quick. The mocktails we ordered arrived quickly, but were considerably too small for the price. The food also came promptly. But even though everything was hot, there was no real flavor. It was all somewhat boring and standard. At €24 for a burger and fries, I expected more. My wife's pasta was also below average. To me, it was pure tourist rip-off. Only the waitresses were friendly and quick.

The location is good, though, with a beautiful view of the sea. Protected behind glass, it's a pleasant place to linger. It was a spontaneous visit, and we weren't disappointed.

Nice atmosphere and friendly service. The meat was a bit dry, but I don't complain that quickly. When we paid, we didn't get a receipt, and we had to pay 130 euros for 2 people. For two starters and main courses, one dessert and 3 glasses of wine, this seems a lot in retrospect? Unfortunately I couldn't check if it was correct.
