A beach club with a slightly upscale atmosphere (and prices) in a good way. Very attentive and friendly service. We've tried breakfast and dinner several times and can only give it 5 stars. Important: be sure to order a side dish with your dinner, otherwise you won't get full (the menu is structured like in France or Italy). The cocktails are good with a decent alcohol content. The service, in particular, is more attentive and friendly than in other beach clubs. We love coming here.

Unfortunately, we absolutely cannot recommend Beach Club Far Out. We've been there twice now – and both times the experience was terrible. On our first visit, the food was the main problem. Among other things, we had a steak that was almost entirely fat and practically raw inside. It was so thick it was practically impossible to cut it properly. After we sent it back and had it remade, it was hardly any better. For these prices, the quality is simply unacceptable in our opinion. On our second visit, the service was a huge disappointment. Although we had made a reservation weeks in advance, we were given a very bad table right at the edge, which looked more like a leftover space. After just a few minutes, we decided to leave and spontaneously make a reservation at another restaurant. We paid around €35 ​​for just two Espresso Martinis. This clearly demonstrates the poor value for money. On top of that, we find something else particularly questionable: They charge an additional €5 service fee for reserving a table. These charges are not included in the final bill but are simply added on for the reservation. In our opinion, a beautiful location and a pleasant atmosphere are not enough if the quality, service, and value for money are lacking. There are other beach restaurants in the area that are more affordable, offer better food, and have significantly better service. Our conclusion after two visits: We would not go back and cannot recommend this restaurant. Anyone looking for a good meal and a pleasant evening should, in our opinion, look for an alternative.

Last night we had a Shared Dining experience for 19 people. It was perfectly organized, and the service and food were truly top-notch. The communication beforehand was very pleasant. What a great restaurant.

This place is located in Zandvoort. We chose it to enjoy the sea, sand, beach, and sunset. We went later in the evening, a bit late, but it was a chance encounter. The interior and atmosphere are truly wonderful. It has a lovely setting where you can sit outdoors and enjoy yourself. We waited in line for a while because we hadn't made a reservation, but it was worth the wait. We found a nice table right in the corner. I had an Americano, while my friends opted for different specialty drinks. I liked the coffee, and my friends liked theirs. We didn't have much time because they said the place was closing. Despite this, we had a pleasant time in a short period. Watching the sunset here, chatting and drinking coffee by the sea as the sun sets was truly delightful. We had to leave a bit hastily because it was closing time, but I can't criticize it too much, as arriving a little late was our fault. Overall, I really liked the atmosphere and setting. The drinks were also very good. This is one of the places I'll add to the top of my list for my next trip to the Netherlands. I recommend it to everyone.

WARNING!!! We only ordered two dishes! We were unknowingly served extra meat, which we only found out about later when paying! Of course, this was added to the bill! Before ordering, I asked the employee to show me the order and the entered price again, just to be sure, but then he couldn't remember it!!! Getting the two identical drinks we ordered was a real hassle (two Sprites, only one arrived, and it took three requests). A customer opposite us was vomiting from drinking too much alcohol, and someone next door was smoking marijuana! The food itself wasn't up to restaurant standards; the pasta was old and hard at the ends, barely revived with pesto, and the tomatoes and cheese didn't taste fresh either! We had to wait ages just to get a menu to order from and be served, even though there was literally plenty of staff available! Interestingly, when it came time to pay, two of them were standing directly in front of me, something I'd never experienced before for a payment, and they seemed very tense. That's understandable, of course, when you deliberately and unknowingly change an order and charge the customer!

Very enjoyable breakfast experience at this restaurant. Wished we had tried the pancakes and other breakfast foods. They have a great sitting area inside and love the servers here; they were super nice and attentive! Atmosphere was great, loved the green inside. Even drew some cute little sparrows inside hoping to get some crumbs. Definitely recommend!

It is always lovely to be here. The staff is really very friendly and helpful. There is plenty of space both on the terrace and on the beach. And most importantly for us… you can reserve your beach chair. So relaxed! The food and drinks are of good quality. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, everything is delicious. I have been coming to Far Out since 2022 and have always enjoyed eating and drinking here. That is precisely why I find it extra disappointing to have to write this. I really do not think what happened today is normal. There were three of us, and we had already ordered 4 cocktails, 3 soft drinks, a mixed drink, and an appetizer. Two of us had ordered a main course. The waiter himself indicated that the kitchen would only start preparing the main courses once our third friend had also placed her order. After about 15 minutes, we were full and wanted to cancel the two main courses because the kitchen had not started on them yet. The male waiter immediately got into an argument about this. Eventually, his manager came over and indicated that the main course could simply be canceled. From that moment on, the male waiter's attitude towards us became downright unfriendly and hostile. Later, we asked for an extra cup of ice. It was 30 degrees, our drinks were getting warm quickly, and one of my friends was visibly feeling unwell due to the heat. He said that we had asked for ice too often and that he wouldn't bring us ice unless we ordered something new first. We had already ordered several drinks by that time. Yet, we eventually had to order two extra drinks before we even received a cup of ice. I have never experienced anything like this before. Ultimately, it is not about the ice for me, but about the disrespectful and customer-unfriendly way we were treated. Even the guests at the table next to us noticed the waiter's attitude and said it seemed as if he had it in for us. As someone who has been a regular visitor to Far Out since 2019, I find this a huge disappointment. That is not how you treat customers, let alone guests who come here regularly. After today, I will definitely think very carefully before returning here.

Arrived half an hour late due to extreme traffic, then had to wait in line at the restaurant for half an hour before it was our turn, only to be told that we were late and could no longer be admitted. When asked why, we were told in a condescending and patronizing manner that we should have arrived on time. The fact that we had to wait an extremely long time before they served us on the spot didn't bother him, and we lost our deposit due to a "no show". Incidentally, only 70% was occupied, so it seemed like a pure bureaucratic show of power by a student at the gate. Unnecessary and very disappointing. A few doors down, they were much friendlier at Beach Club Tien, without a reservation or deposit.

Beach club, can't provide shade for the tables. Water scarce, pay twice the price of a coke to get water. Over-expensive, mid quality. Potentially the worst beach club I have been to.

We booked a table for dinner on the evening of the eclipse: staff was amazing and very attentive, food a bit pricey but quality was really excellent, and the place itself is very beautiful. We will surely come back.

What a sublime restaurant on the beach. A question about a reservation was answered quickly and personally: everything was done to make us feel comfortable as guests. The reception and service were friendly, and all dishes – there were 9 of us – were served at the same time. The dinner menu offers a wide selection and the food was exquisite. Highly recommended!

Whenever we're in Zandvoort, FarOut is a must! We've never been disappointed. Everything we've tried so far has been absolutely delicious. The staff is always attentive and friendly, no matter when you arrive or how busy they are. I've never seen a single employee seem annoyed. Everyone always smiles and enjoys their work. If there were six stars, I'd give it six! Highly recommended!

Had a week in Zandvoort. We kept coming back here. Great vibe, prompt service, excellent quality food. Nicely spacious layout, plenty of seating, both inside and out. And then the staff; nice and efficient, helpful, very pleasant!

Very disappointing experience at this beach club. We arrived well in advance and were allowed to sit somewhere, but within 45 minutes we were already outside again. The service was anything but hospitable. My glass was taken away while it still contained a drink, and while we were still eating, we were already asked if the plates could be cleared. That really gave us the feeling that we had to leave as quickly as possible. On top of that, the waitress was completely unenthusiastic. She couldn't manage a smile, and we didn't feel welcome at all. The steak was fine, but that is about all there is to say. Additionally, you have to pay an extra €5 in advance to make a reservation. The most remarkable thing was that the beach club wasn't even half full, so that rush was completely unnecessary. For us, this is a real no-go. Everything felt like it was just about making as much money as possible, not about hospitality or a pleasant experience. Never again for us.

I was at your establishment yesterday around 8:30 PM with four friends. Just before us, a couple without a reservation was simply let in. When it was our turn, we were told that this was not possible. I found that very strange and disappointing. I have been coming to this establishment for years, almost every summer, and therefore expected different treatment. It felt to me as if there were double standards. Because I was with several friends who have dark skin, I unfortunately got the feeling that this might have played a role. I sincerely hope that this was not the case, but that is how I experienced it. At that moment, I consciously chose not to start a discussion. Should I find myself in a similar situation again in the future, while others without a reservation are allowed in, I will make this public with video footage, the time, and all relevant information. I hope you look into this seriously, because this is not the service I am used to. Finally, I am the owner of 13 hospitality businesses myself. I know exactly how door policy, staffing, and hospitality work in practice. Therefore, I do not find the explanation I received convincing. I hope you will do something about this, because regular guests (and non-regular guests too) deserve fair and respectful treatment.

We had a nice evening here with our friends. The service was super friendly! The food was fine but nothing special. But what we found truly ridiculous were the prices!! The price-quality ratio is really out of proportion! An Ibiza spritz for €13, and served in a mini glass full of ice to boot. The four of us paid almost €400 here for a sandwich, starter, and main course—not even dessert or coffee. Plus wine and beer. We don't mind paying a bit more, but this time we felt really ripped off.

We had a delicious meal and received very friendly service! Definitely worth a repeat visit.

We only stopped by for a beer. Very cozy, good music and friendly staff. The interior is also classic, chic, and stylishly Dutch.

Downside: the bottle of tap water "offered" beforehand for €7.70 feels like a scam and ensures that I will choose a different place next time. All in all, the price is reasonable, but I would have preferred to give that as a tip. It probably works fine for seasonal guests who are only visiting once.

Last Saturday, I was here with a friend, and we had a wonderful day. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted warmly by the host and escorted to a table. Even though it was completely full, there was a relaxed and quiet atmosphere, exactly what we love. We enjoyed the lovely music, tasty cocktails, and some delicious snacks. Meanwhile, we played a few fun card games, which made the holiday feeling complete. It really felt like a holiday in our own country! A beautiful beach club with a nice atmosphere and hospitable staff. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

The excellent and unique location right on the beach is unfortunately the only reason we're giving this place two stars – the service alone would have deserved a maximum of one star. Unfortunately, the attentiveness of the service staff left much to be desired: Inattentive service: We had to ask for an ashtray three times, as our request was simply forgotten twice. The staff were clearly more preoccupied with private conversations among colleagues than with attending to the guests' needs. Long waiting times: Although we would have liked to order more drinks, we were completely ignored for an extended period. To avoid waiting another half hour, we ultimately decided to pay and leave. Such inattentive service is extremely regrettable, as it represents a significant untapped potential. We are certain that we will not be returning – fortunately, there are plenty of excellent alternatives with more welcoming service along the Zandvoort promenade.

Everything here seems to revolve solely around money rather than the guests. The atmosphere is anything but cozy, and you do not feel welcome at all. The service is poor, the quality of the food and drinks was very disappointing, and the staff was unfriendly. For me, this was absolutely not a pleasant experience. There are plenty of other beach clubs where you *are* welcomed hospitably. Therefore, I recommend any other beach club over this one.

Last week, we spent the whole day here, ate, and ordered several drinks. We were having a good time and struck up a conversation with the people sitting next to us. To our surprise, we were told that we had to leave. The impression we got was that our table was needed for new guests, even though we were simply paying customers who were still present. When we asked why this was necessary, an argument ensued with a staff member. Instead of calmly looking for a solution, security was eventually called in and we were escorted outside. That felt completely out of proportion, especially since we weren't bothering anyone and were just having a normal discussion. As a guest, you expect respect and a decent explanation, not to be treated as if you have done something wrong after a day of eating and drinking. For us, this was a very disappointing experience. There are plenty of restaurants where hospitality is a priority. Unfortunately, we will not be returning here.

this was great! it was one of the only places in zandvoort that i could book sun loungers in advance. yes the food is pricey but tasty! i wish they had a couple more vegan options especially for lunch and breakfast. the servers could be a bit more friendly and proactive but overall it was good and i will be coming back!! 🏖️

Always worth a visit. The food and cocktails are good. The location and view are perfect, and the service is friendly and attentive. The prices aren't exactly cheap, but they're okay. We visited Far Out again on June 25th and 26th and reserved sun loungers and parasols for the two days. Everything was great again, however, we paid €27 for two "cocktails" (which were essentially just a mixture of alcoholic ingredients without any garnish) served in plastic cups, and you have to get the "cocktails" yourself. I understand the argument about the high costs, but they shouldn't overdo it...

Fine restaurant, but not really recommended if you are looking for a filling dinner. The dinner options are limited for a multi-course menu. However, it is recommended for a smaller appetite, with many options for small portions and good food.

Went there for lunch and ordered both food and drinks. The restaurant only served tiny shot-sized glasses of tap water, and when we asked for a refill, they refused. The waiter explained that providing more water wasn't the house policy as it "costs them money" and is a lot of effort.

Unfortunately, upon entering, we were told by a doorman—without a proper greeting—that everything was reserved and that we could sit in the sun. Just find a table yourself. Once we started looking, there wasn't a "reserved" sign anywhere. So we sat down somewhere, and after 15 minutes finally managed to get someone to order something. Then, suddenly, a "reserved" sign appeared on the table via another waiter, and we had to leave at 7:00 PM. It was 3:30 PM by then, but anyway. We ordered food after getting someone to eat again, which actually tasted good. The staff were busy chatting amongst themselves, so we eventually just asked for the bill ourselves. Upon leaving the place, there was again no goodbye from the doorman, just staring at us. It is a real shame for a nice beach bar to have such bad doormen who don't make you feel welcome. Update: I really appreciate the response and consider it very positive. With this, I am raising the review to a three. Thanks for the response!

We had such a wonderful time at this beach bar! I was here with two friends and everything was truly perfect. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, the staff was friendly and helpful, and we had delicious food and drinks. Being on the beach really topped it all off. We enjoyed the view, the great service, and the nice ambiance. It was a truly fantastic day from start to finish. We will definitely be back! We had dinner at Beach Club Far Out tonight. I had reserved a table outside for 6:00 PM. To my surprise, we received the bill at 6:55 PM with the question of whether we wanted to pay because the table was needed again at 7:00 PM. And this despite the fact that it wasn't busy at all? Moreover, it states online that you make a reservation for two hours, so I find it strange that you are essentially asked to leave after less than an hour. Additionally, the food was very disappointing. What a terrible place. We won't be coming back.

Big BBQ on the terrace with a professional kitchen team. We laughed at the terms used amongst themselves, such as: Bon chef and “two pregnant ladies”. The latter possibly a term to indicate the desired doneness of the steak. Ours was beautifully medium. Delicious food, lavishly served. We took some fish dishes home. Full! Just enough room for dessert. Blissful!

The cocktail I ordered was tiny and I expressed that and the service staff just said that it was the machine. I then saw another cocktail and it was the same one I had but fuller for someone else. Quality control was not great. The food was good but the pasta someone else ordered in my group was cold. Atmosphere is great but the service sucked.

It was our first time here and certainly not the last! Because we are light eaters, we only ordered starters, and that turned out to be an excellent choice. The Caesar salad was generously filled, and the bimi and green asparagus were perfectly al dente and deliciously seasoned. The octopus was wonderfully tender and beautifully balanced with the Mexican salsa. The relaxed, informal atmosphere on the terrace and the friendly, welcoming staff made the experience complete. We will definitely be back!

Tourist trap, over inflated prices for below average food. Don't expect tall cocktail glasses either. Would really not recommend, when we complained they failed to adhere to it.

Food was good, cocktails were cheeky and tiny, about the size of a water glass. The place is open until 11 pm, but we were kicked out at 10:15 pm on Saturday. Disappointing and rude.

Lovely spot for a bite and a drink. The red snapper fillet was cooked to perfection. Beautifully paired with fennel, samphire, and a slightly spicy tom kha kai sauce. Excellent wine list. Very pleasant service.

Food was good but the bread as starter was very tense you can barely eat it. We also ordered a burger but we had to send it a couple of times because it wasn’t as ordered. Sadly because of these things our experience wasn’t that good at this place.

Whenever we're in Zandvoort, a visit to Far Out is a must. We love this beach club because it offers a unique atmosphere, and the food and drinks are consistently excellent. We've tried almost everything on the menu – from breakfast to lunch – and have always been delighted. The food is of outstanding quality, and the drinks are always very good as well. We'd especially like to highlight the friendly service. The team is always attentive, welcoming, and has a smile on their faces. That's exactly how a restaurant visit should be! We will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend Far Out.

Very mediocre food (except for the satay). Chosen scrambled eggs with salmon at 12:25, served within 2 minutes but lukewarm to cold, and my partner had to wait another 5 minutes until 12:30 to order satay (can only be ordered from 12:30) and then waited another 25 minutes. It was a weekday so not busy at all. Ginger tea without honey etc.
