Primavera in Zandvoort Zuid

From the outside, it's quite unassuming and doesn't really invite you to linger. But appearances are deceiving. The service is very friendly and attentive. The food is incredibly delicious and fairly priced.

We went to Restaurant Primavera and were pleasantly surprised. The cuisine seems like an interesting mix of Italian and Mediterranean dishes – meat dishes are also on the menu. I had grilled salmon, which was delicious, and my son was also very happy with his pizza. We had to wait about 30 minutes for our food, but it was definitely worth it. The waiters were friendly and attentive. Overall, a pleasant visit with delicious food – we would come back.

Pizza was okay (not more), but totally overpriced, even if he would have charged the price which is written on the menu outside. But he charges more (prices which are only visible if you scan the QR-Code). So looks like scam to me! Cannot recommend!

The pizza at Pizzeria Primavera was really delicious and arrived very quickly. The staff was also friendly and pleasant. Overall, a positive experience. However, I'm deducting one star because of the prices. They are unfortunately quite high. Nevertheless: good food, fast service, and friendly staff. If the prices were a bit more reasonable, it would easily be a five-star experience.

Absolutely delicious! We had the seafood pasta and the tagliatelle with salmon, and both were amazing. Great quality for the price and definitely worth it. It’s also super close to the beach, so it’s the perfect spot to spend the day by the sea and stop by for a lovely lunch afterwards. Would definitely come back! ☀️🌊

The food was okay. The service was good. The price is probably higher due to the location on a busy street in the city center than for the quality of the food. It's really not bad, but nothing special either.

My children and I really don't understand the enthusiastic reviews at all – the ambiance? Well, very, very basic and not at all Italian. Typical Italian cuisine? Seriously – the restaurant sells doner kebabs and burgers in addition to pizza and pasta!!! That should have been a deal-breaker for us, but unfortunately, we followed the Google hype and went in anyway. And then: a 40-minute wait for three pizzas, the dough looked more like mass-produced pizza than Italian, no mozzarella as it should have been, just some random cheese on top, and so on and so forth. Sometimes you should trust your gut and not follow the hype. We've eaten excellent pizza many times, both in and outside of Italy, and there are definitely better options in Zandvoort.

Simple. Delicious. Warm and welcoming. We went there for pizza yesterday, and I was immediately impressed by the owner. He did absolutely EVERYTHING himself (taking the order, serving drinks, making the pizza, bringing the food, and clearing the table)! And all with a smile on his face. Hats off to that! And on top of that, it was absolutely delicious. We'll be back!

Had a perfectly delicious pizza

Unfortunately, we felt unwell after eating the pizza, which was dripping with grease. On top of that, it was very expensive, and we regret not leaving. €18 for an upset stomach and diarrhea!

Visited here on my last night and because I was travelling early in the morning went for something simple. Pizza Cipolla and a glass of wine. The pizza had a generous amount of cheese with onion and black olives. The best bit was the pizza base which was thin with a fluffy crust just slightly charred in places as it should be. The man who served me, owner maybe, was friendly but maybe a lack of atmosphere because the restaurant wasn't busy, which is not surprising because the weather was bad that evening. Will definitely visit again when I go back in September and try some more of the menu.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, there was a strong smell of smoke... the owner also smelled of cigarettes... it was quite cold... the pizza was nothing special... the falafels were overcooked and dry, the salad was covered in oil, the fries were too salty... the restaurant doesn't live up to these ratings.

The food itself was good; we had pasta and a Coke, so quite normal. But when it came to the bill, he simply raised the price himself. We had one pasta dish (17€ according to the menu) and another (16€ according to the menu), and two Cokes (4€ each according to the menu). So, in total, we were at 41€. The cashier simply increased it to 50€ without any discussion. I mean, yes, we would have left a tip anyway, but to just take it for himself seems a bit cheeky to me.

Bringing two worlds of food together isn't always easy, but with this pizza döner, they succeeded surprisingly well. The pasta carbonara was also deliciously creamy, exactly how you want it. Additionally, the service was friendly and welcoming.

Clean, very friendly, the food was freshly prepared, they even gave the dog something to snack on.

The pizza tastes like a typical pizza from a kebab shop. Also delicious, but just different. It doesn't taste like a "Primavera" though... A kids' pizza costs the same as a regular-sized pizza. So just order a regular one and take something with you instead.

The pizza deserves 5 stars. The salmon penne had a lot of salmon, which was good. Too much garlic for my taste. I don't like garlic. I enjoyed the beer.

The food was okay, not great. Strangely, we were charged too much for one pizza. It can happen, but it's never happened to me... check your bill.

It was—weird. The waitress kept pacing back and forth, which made us kind of nervous. The whole atmosphere was somewhat tense, even though the food (pizza) was really delicious. Because it was mid-afternoon, we were the only customers. The restaurant itself looked okay, but not particularly cozy. We probably won't be back.

Our favorite restaurant in Zandvoort. The food is absolutely delicious and amazing quality. Any adjustments we would like to make to the dishes are always welcomed by the owner. The owner and the waiters are very nice and hospitable. Lasagne, pizza, pasta, burger are all number 1 with great portions.

Most of the pasta dishes we ordered were eaten out of hunger after a long day at the beach. The quality left a lot to be desired and didn't even come close to justifying the price. I recommend that the owner and chef visit a truly authentic Italian restaurant (not necessarily in Zandvoort—I haven't found one there yet) and try to try authentic Italian pasta dishes there. Remember, then, that the pasta dishes we ordered were delicious and that we also remembered that the average pasta dishes we had served to our guests in a typical Italian restaurant.

I have no idea how these good reviews came about. A few people have already written about what I noticed, too. The pizza dough tasted of nothing and wasn't fluffy at all. It seemed more like regular bread dough... The pizza base wasn't crispy at all. For the price, the quality is simply too poor. The staff, however, was friendly.

We had three spaghetti Bolognese dishes. It was delicious. However, the sauce could have had a bit more flavor and spice. Compared to the two Italian restaurants nearby, it was the best meal.

Staff are nice, but completely ignore you. Placed my drink order for 15 minutes, no response. When I ordered again, things were missing... Far too expensive. Pizza is very poor quality. Frozen level. Pasta is edible, but borderline; you can't have too high expectations, and not for the price. Staff are inattentive, the table hasn't even been cleared after 20 minutes. The restaurant stinks of cigarettes. I chose this place because of the 4.6 rating. Where does that come from? I'd rather recommend the chip shops and fish stalls on the beach, like this one. More of a kebab shop than a pizzeria. Maybe they should have called the pizza kebab?

Very average food. Carbonara with ham and cream at the level of a student dish. Margarita pizza tasteless. The day before, the restaurant was closed during the hours when according to Google it should be open. The waiter brought cheese to the carbonara halfway through the food.

At first glance the shop looks a bit inconspicuous but we were more than thrilled with our pizza. We had a Quatro Formaggi pizza with spnat and garlic to take away and it was simply amazing. The staff was also super friendly. If we come to Zandvoort again, we will definitely visit this shop again. 👍

We were actually allowed in just after opening time. Very pleasantly surprised! The best pizzas we've had in a year. Ordered a pizza primavera en tonno. Primavera is nicely balanced and a creative idea. Both pizzas were cooked perfectly. Very good size too! Recommended to anyone coming to Zandvoort :)

It was not the first time that we encountered a situation when we came to the institution on Sunday between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM and the institution was closed, but in Google the working hours indicated that the institution works every day from 12:00 PM to 00:00 :00 am. Can you please change the timetable on Google, if you are not working that day please change it, because it confuses people a lot, people count on something and go to the institution, but it is closed, which is bad. unpleasant for us

Were here in November, the restaurant was empty, but I think that's because of the season. At first we didn't know if this was a good choice for dinner because it is quite small and doesn't seem very inviting. The friendly waitress took our drinks and then the chef took our food requests. He cooks directly in the guest room on 4 cooking surfaces, so we didn't know what we were getting. But the chef is a master of his craft! I've never had such good pasta, perfectly seasoned, wow! We can only recommend it, we cook with heart.

On our final trip we wanted to treat ourselves to a delicious pizza. Just 5 minutes after picking it up the pizza box was soggy and there is no need to talk about the prices… The pizza was very unappetizing, not even the edge was crispy or tasty and everyone who writes good reviews here has dead taste buds! If you are interested in diarrhea, it is even more recommended.

The service was nice and friendly. The food came super quickly. However, my noodles didn't taste like anything. But a proud price for that.

Very disappointing. The pizza was basic, it barely had any toppings, just a few ham slices, and the dough was dry. For the price of 17€ it definitely was not worth it, especially if you compare it to other better pizza restaurants even in Amsterdam. The service was also awful. The person that served us slammed the water bottle and glasses on the table and quickly left and did the same with the check, just threw it on the table and left. The restaurant didn't seem clean, it had a weird smell, like never having been properly cleaned and old oil. The glasses we got for the water had a similar funky smell. The bathroom did not have soap or paper towels.

After a long day at the beach I was hungry and exhausted. I was craving some good pasta. The reviews were very promising, and although the interior does not always say something about the quality of the food, sometimes it can be the opposite. I ordered pasta with shrimps without drinks. The owner of the establishment took my order and delivered the pasta personally. I immediately noticed that the dish was completely tasteless. It had a little salt on it, three pieces of zucchini, lots of white sauce and a large amount of shrimp. The shrimp were excellent, but the rest tasted like dish soap. In addition, there were suspicious black lumps in the dish, as if the pasta had been cooked in an old, dirty frying pan. The result was a day of diarrhea and nausea. Be careful, they might prepare pasta in grandma's dirty frying pan if you're tired and the waiter doesn't greet you with a smile. In any case, I will never come back here again.

Service is a bit chaotic but the food was delicious.

A cute little Italian restaurant, which at first glance looks more like a small snack bar. But there were very, very tasty delicacies on the plate, which were very tastefully prepared. The service was super fast and friendly, we particularly liked the open kitchen, where you could watch the food being prepared. A real insider🍝 By the way, one of the best bruschettas I've ever eaten.

Unfortunately the worst food we have ever eaten. We ordered Penne Napoli, Spaghetti Napoli, Pizza Margherita, Tagliatella Vegie and Chickenburger, you really can't do any worse. I don't even want to talk about the prices. Anyone who gives a positive rating for the food here really suffers from a calcification of the taste.

By far Zandvoort's best pizza, everything was perfect. The service was very friendly and asked several times if it was good, which I rate as positive. The boss also came to the front from the back and asked if everything was ok👍I didn't manage to make the pizza, I had the rest packed up because it was very tasty. Overall, we can only agree with the positive reviews here.

Deplorable service, frozen pizzas, a doctored bill. Avoid at all costs

Tonight we had dinner here with 2 people. A delicious mixed grill with spare ribs that fell off the bone, grilled chicken and shawarma and a hamburger with fries and fresh salad. Excellent quality, and served with a smile by the owner who is proud of his product. And as far as we are concerned, that is completely justified.

Had delicious pasta at this restaurant for a good price. The owner is very friendly and made the experience of eating here very cozy and enjoyable. If we are in the area we will definitely come back here!
